=UNIVERSE=
While many of the rangers headed off into space back on Earth a young girl who lived in Milky Way was running past people "Gomen-ne, gomen-ne! Excuse me!" the young girl says in a hurry to get home.
She wasn't paying attention when she rushed through a small crowd of people, and ended up on the street. Her eyes widen, and before she could be pulled back the girl was hit by a car and she cried out in pain.
"Call an ambulance!"
"Someone stop the bleeding!"
"Don't worry your going to be okay."
The young girl heard, but she didn't focus on the people as all she felt was pain and that her legs were twisted wierdly. She also felt herself starting to feel sleepy and black out.
[Dream?]
The girl felt herself floating like she was in some kind of black like lake. There were no injuries, and she got up looking around. The ground and 'water' was pitch black while the space around them was white.
"H-H-Hello? Is there anyone here?" The girl asked nervous starting to walk as she wandered about this strange place.
After what felt like forever the girl eventually saw a figure, and started running towards it. Eventually she saw who the person was and stopped surprised at this as it was an angel like female. She had long white hair, red eyes, a slender yet beautiful hourglass figure, and she wore a robe. Large black angel like wings came out of said robe as the female figure just sat there tears seeming to stream from her eyes.
"Why? Why is my soul still cursed to wander between the realms of life and death?" The older female says tears still streaming, but a small gasp caught her attention and she turned seeing the little girl.
Surprised she dried her tears and looked at the young girl "You...how did your soul come to be here?" She asked as the girl tensed.
"I-I was heading home. There was a car, and pain...so much pain..." The young girl says.
The older was shocked "She must be in quite the delicate position if her soul ended up her." She muttered.
It was then that the little girl gasped in pain collapsing as she seemed to fade in and out "W-What's happening? I-I hurt so much now." The little girl says.
The winged woman looked at her sad "It seems...your time is up. Your truly dying, and your soul is fading as it's waiting to be claimed." She says.
The young girl began crying "N-No. I-I don't want to die." she says and the winged woman could feel the young girls pain at everything she would miss.
The woman looked down in thought before sighing to herself "Alright...one selfless act." She muttered and approached the girl.
"Don't worry little one. I'll save you, and maybe I'll be saving myself to." She says as she kneels down to hug the girl.
"W-Why would you s-save me? Who are you?" The little girl asked.
The winged woman gave a small smile "My name is Avery dear. Avery Spiritus. As for why...I'm doing something I had promised years ago even if I hated it at the time. Doing one selfless act for another's sake." She says and both the young girl and the angel winged woman were engulfed in a golden light.
[Dream? End]
At the hospital the doctors were prepared to call it as it had been several minutes since the little girl flat lined, but then the monitor let out a beep and one of the nurses out a gasp before proceeding to take readings.
The doctor in charge was surprised, but let out a sigh he had been holding in "Your one lucky little girl. Must have had someone looking out for you." The doctor muttered to himself.
=UNIVERSE=
Charles, Frankie, and Cody watched as they drew ever closer to the remains of what was Charles birth home. Amour was now just a large chunk of rock as their seemed to be no kind of life what so ever upon the planet.
Even so Charles watched it come into view "So...Luquier is here. Anyone else wondering why?" Frankie asked.
Cody bites her lip "I could care less. Devoid of life or not that's my home, and she's got to go." Charles snarled.
"Umm...Charles we can't destroy her remember? Maybe we get her to come to her senses." Cody said and Charles sighed.
"I know I know. We can try." Charles said looking down. Frankie noticed how he seemed to feel and she sighed to herself.
"Your still being hard on yourself?" She asked.
Charles tensed "...Wouldn't you if you were an idiot who kept repeating the same mistake?" He asked and huffed.
The two weren't surprised by his response as Frankie shakes her head "You aren't an idiot. If you were you'd be trying to justify how it was only everyone else's fault and not yours." Frankie told him.
Cody nods "Don't worry. We'll be able to save her." Cody assured him though he didn't have the absolute confidence like Frankie or Charles.
Having a bit of time Cody brought out his notebook and started writing in it to pass the time as a means to collect his thoughts.
"Hey Frankie umm...about what happened during the battle with Stabella. What was that you, Velvet, and Issaic did?" Charles asked.
"Well umm...the best way to explain it is that I have my own kind of cyber power. So does Velvet and Issiac. Except ours work better as a trinity." Frankie said trying to explain.
"So...you don't know exactly?" Charles states.
"Yeah. I just...knew what to do in that moment. I also knew that I needed Velvet and Issiac with me." Frankie replied.
Cody nods "Maybe we'll find out something in the future." Cody says.
The ship eventually landed on the surface, and the world was desolate and sky clouded over. It almost looked like it was going to rain yet at the same time it looked like the clouds would clear at any moment.
Coming out of the ship and looking out from the hill they landed on they were still amazed at what they saw. In the trees far below was ruined remains of what looked like sophisticated tree houses. There was a larger tree far off in the distance, and Charles could barely make out a pully system. On the ground there was broken and even melted weapons, and if one looked closely they could see what looked like an entrance to a underground system as well as a few ground level forges.
"Wow. You know what looks simple on the surface might be more complicated beneath." Cody said as he was interested in checking out the underground.
"Maybe, but I think right now we should focus on something else." Frankie suggested.
Charles shrugged "Actually his idea isn't that bad. I mean Luquier could be anywhere." He said.
"Alright. Honestly I want to check out the treehouses." Frankie said.
"I got the underground." Cody said to them.
"That leaves me with the ground level and forges then." Charles said, and with that said the entire group split up to try and look for Luquier and find out whatever reason she was there.
On the ground Charles checked things out and noticed while mostly destroyed looks like remains of gardens, and there were small statues.
Charles kept this in mind as he looked for more to try and piece together what his heritage was like.
He went to one of the forges and while it was simple it was also incredibly unique. The tech inside the cave like forge was leagues above what earth was capable of, but the tech possibly on the same level as Cray had been. He also noted something odd as there was an actual wooden wall covering a small corner of the cave.
Charles went to it and taps on it as it sounded hollow, but at the same time there was something in it. He pulled at the wooden corner and tore it making the wood fall and collapse.
Charles let out a few small coughs and then saw there was a small satchel and journal. He picked up the journal first and opened, and brought it into the light yet saw it was blank.
"Blank? Why..." He started then got an idea as he recalled something when he was younger. He powered down the light like crystals in the cave and pulled the curtain on the side of the forges entrance over the opening.
In complete darkness there was nothing, but after a few second Charles body began to glow in a white light. It was then that the journal lite up like it was responding to the light as golden words appeared.
Charles began reading it, until reaching the final entry "This may be my last entry as it stands the Link Joker Armada are attacking us, and from what I discovered our allies on the planet Cray. I found several soul orbs of entities from that planet. To resort to reverting to a fragile existence must mean they are desperate. I just hope we buy enough time to prolong the war on both ends. The one's I've found I've hidden away in my satchel." Charles read.
"Their are likely more out there waiting to be found. I alongside others across the cosmos have come up with..." He kept going, but it suddenly stopped as the rest was blank.
Closing the journal and grabbing the satchel he turned on the light, and open in to which he saw several of the same sphere's "These are...yeah. Best to take them with me." He muttered, and hearing a shaking noise outside he tensed up and headed out summoning his weapon.
"Better check on the others." Charles muttered.
"Everyone. We might have a problem." Cody's voice came on low over the morphor.
"Oh great." Charles muttered as he knew that tone of voice meant trouble.
=UNIVERSE=
Cody went underground and was impressed as while he was expecting a cave system it was much more high tech as the walls were plated in some kind of metal, and there was holographic monitors that still somehow worked.
He hummed as he realized with how far he was going in he was headed for the roots of the large tree in the distance. Nearly ten minutes later and quite a bit of jogging he reached what he figured was the nerve center of the system.
Highly advanced weapons littered the walls while computer like devices monited a small group of the weapons "Must be experimental." Cody muttered.
Cody then noticed there was actually a large quantity of Link Joker tech also being analyzed. Then in the center he noticed pods connected to the glowing roots of the tree from above, and this confused Cody.
"What exactly were they doing here?" He muttered as he took note of the bays with jetpacks.
"Well they certainly were warriors, and prepared for several scenarios. Still these pods hooked up to the tree limbs has me nervous." He thought.
It was then that alarms started blaring "Anti-existence energy detected! Repeat anti-existence energy detected! Preparing to deploy FoN prototypes." A computerized voice spoke.
"Uhh...okay. That wasn't me..." Cody says then realized what the computer may have meant by anti-existence energy.
"Link Joker. That means...oh boy." Cody says then hide as he head the sound of pressurized gas being released from the pods.
"That can't be good." He muttered then saw what was released.
"Everyone. We might have a problem." Cody says his voice in a whisper.
=UNIVERSE=
After finding a nearly collapsed ladder Frankie had made her way up to the treehouses, and was amazed at what she saw.
Everything while destroyed she could just imagine how it once was. There were several interconnecting bridges and the remains of what looked like a small square built above a clearing. There was also several broken weapons scattered about, and Frankie winced yet at the same time she noticed something...odd.
"Where are the bodies?" Frankie asked herself in a whisper, and went into a few homes to check things out, but saw nothing of real interest.
Yet at the same time there were some minor things she took notice of. Each house had these strange crystal that was probably used for various things. She also noted how they actually seemed to grow out of the trees. Yet they only grew in places where there seemed to actually be amourians who lived there.
"Hmm...I've got to try and find out more." Frankie said, and noticed in the distance a rather large and impressive palace like tree.
"That must be...Charles and Minerva's old home." Frankie started and while hesitant she knew that if anything she could find out more at the palace.
She started working her way there using the devices scattered about to go further and further in.
"I get that they are warriors, but someone must have done research on these crystals. These might be what Luquier is after." Frankie thought as she was on a bridge that was now a straight shot to the palace.
"Everyone. We might have a problem." Cody's voice came on low over the morphor.
"Seriously? Right now?" Frankie muttered yet knew Cody wouldn't be springing a false alarm. It was then that she heard a couple of explosions underground.
"I don't think that's Luquier." Frankie thought.
=UNIVERSE=
In the underground Cody hides as he saw what came out of the pods. They were humanoid like beings, and would of easily been mistaken for humans if it wasn't for a number of major differences.
First and foremost these things varied in size as their largest one was easily seven to eight feet tall. Secondly they had pale green skin, and solid red eyes. Third they had wood like hands, arms, and pulsing dark green veins could been seen on there skin.
The leader of the three was female dressed in a almost valkyrie like garb her long white hair going down her back.
The second was a huge muscular male in viking like armor a huge hammer strapped to his back.
The third and final was a child like male in knight like gear a short sword strapped to his side.
"...The source is on the surface. Let's move it." The female of the group as the larger male huffed.
"First let's see if we can draw the crused one's attention." He spoke and gathered energy into his fist and slammed it down.
There was a massive explosion that broke through to the surface and the smaller one moved surprisenly fast and jumped high getting to the top. The other two quickly followed.
Cody peeks out "That...was certainly not good. I got to get back to the surface." He muttered as he heard the sounds of battle already going on.
He booked it and simply hoped the others saw that as well. He wondered just what the people of Amour were thinking when they made them.
"Scratch that I already know. They were probably intended exactly what they're doing. Made to fight against the LJA. Though seems like they were made to focus on the reversed general's." Cody thought to himself.
He got back up to the surface, and almost ran into Charles "I'm guessing whatever is causing trouble has to do with what you found?" He asked, and Cody nods.
"Yeah, and they're looking to possibly take out Luquier." Cody says and Charles frowns.
"Sounds like we'll have to stop them and get serious. We made a promise." He said, and both take out the globes and prepare there morphers.

"Zeroth Change!/Dragon Ascent!"
Morphed into Gray and Bronze the two took off and heard the sounds of battle going on.
Charles laughs "Sounds like Frankie got started without us." He says twirling his pistols.
"Yeah. Still this seems quite different..." Cody said as he couldn't help feeling still that they were missing something.
A large boom drew him out of his thoughts and the two headed toward where the fight was happening.
Frankie was in her Zeroth from wave swords swinging as she was battling on two fronts. She had managed to locate Luquier, but she instantly attacked with her whip. It was then that the three others had appeared.
She was holding off the knight child while Luquier had managed to grab the giant and toss him into there leader. Frankie managed to push away the knight, but then had to duck as Luquier tried to strike her.
The two decided to step in as Charles let loose firing upon there targets as Cody jumps in to block the strike from the hammer with his gunblade.
"Well nice to see you've made some new friends Frankie." Charles says with a smirk.
"Yeah. Nice welcoming they're giving huh?" Frankie replied as she sidesteps a strike from Luquier's whip.
The Valkyrie huffed looking at the interlopers "Why are you getting in our way? You are clearly not allied with the demon so why do you protect her instead of aiding us in her elimination?" She asked.
Cody started buckling under the giant man's strength as he was down on one knee "T-That's actually pretty simple, but not so sure you'd get it." Cody said.
Charles fires off a few more shots before switching his weapon out the boxing gloves appearing on his hands while Frankie switched to the golden whip.
Charles let's out a war cry as he struck the giant man and he stumbles back as Charles help's Cody up "We got a promise to keep." Charles said.
Meanwhile Luquier and Frankie had managed to wrap there whips around the knight like boy, and in a rare act of teamwork had managed to toss him up before bringing him down hard.
Instantly Frankie threw herself at Luquier and punched the elf as hard as she could, and the boys finally got a good look at her.
Luquier was a pale skinned elf like woman with scarlet red hair that went down her back her eyes were a bright blue with red marking going below each while having similar red markings on her shoulders. She wore a black and red chocker that connected to her sleevless black and deep brown top that exposed the lower chest down with the same red markings on her skin. She wore black laced pants that hard black high heeled boots that reached above her knees with silver thorn like designs around the top the stuck out. She also had black and red gloves that went nearly went to her shoulder while a black and red headpiece with what looked like a dragon's eye in the center was on her head.
"Fools. All of them fools." Luquier muttered as she recovered.
"I don't have time for this. I must find out why one came here." Luquier thought to herself and ran off.
"Hey! Just where are you going?!" Frankie called out.
She then looked to the boys "Guys take care of them. I'll see what I can do about Luquier." Frankie told them, and they nod.
Frankie took off after her while Charles and Cody stood there ground ready to keep fighting at least two of them as the valkyrie had taken off after Frankie and Luquier.
"So...a knight and a behmoth." Charles said.
Cody nods "You know if it wasn't for the circumstances this would be some incredible story inspiration." He said.
Charles rolled his eyes under his helmet before just letting lose firing as Cody charged swining. The small knight like boy avoided it while the giant of a man just seemed to tank the hits not even looking like he had been scratched.
"Well...this isn't going to be easy." Cody says and the two dodge.
=UNIVERSE=
[Insert Song: ZERO by Psychic Lover]
Away from the rest the fighting continued as Frankie drops and rolls away from the Valkyrie's energy like attack. In retaliation Luquier strikes the being with her whip multiple times before then trying to strike at Frankie.
Frankie just held her hand up and the whip wrapped around her wave sword and she pulls it hard pulling Luquier towards her. She punches Luquier hard and she stumbles back grabbing her head.
"You little..." she muttered in anger her right eye glowing a dark red. The Valkyrie rushed in and tried to followed up, but Luquier blocked the weapon and threw her back.
Frankie rushed the valkyrie and strikes her hard with her wave swords as she spins hitting her several times.
Luquier's whip wrapped around her waist "Uh oh..." Frankie muttered and was flung right into a tree. Frankie groaned and turns before quickly jumping to the side to avoid being run through by the valkyrie's weapon.
Frankie recovered and quickly switched back to her base form as her large bladed tiger like gauntlet appeared.
She slashed with it a few times at Valkyrie before holding it up to block a whip strike from Luquier. Frankie jumps and twists bringing the claw down on Luquier who had to jump to avoid it.
The three stopped a moment all of them huffing starting to get a bit tired. Though the valkyrie recovered quickly and lunged right back in to the battle and struck the two of them.
Forgetting Frankie she went after Luquier, but she managed to get out of the way of her blade. Agitated Luquier retaliated as at impossible speed she attacked with her whip several times striking the valkyrie.
With one last strike she disarmed valkyrie and went over towering over her.
"This...is your end." She says.
[Insert Song End]
Taking the valkyrie's own weapon off the ground she raised it to end it, but quite suddenly she felt an intense pain in her head.
"N-No. This is wrong. We are an assassin, but this is wrong." A voice sounding a lot like herself mentally told Luquier.
"Gahh..." She grimaced and steps back dropping the weapon clutching the right side of her face as her eyed glowed an even deeper shade of red.
She jumped up into the air and seemed to float as Frankie finally recovered enough to get up "What are you doing here Luquier? It doesn't make sense." Frankie asked.
Luquier simply glared at Frankie "What I am doing here is my business, and mine alone. Yet if you want an idea...ask the one who left us both, but returned to you." She says.
"None of them appear to be here. No matter I must continue my search. The planet of darkness is next." Luquier added in her thought and vanished in a burst of light.
Frankie sighed and then looked over seeing the valkyrie was out of it. Yet going over and taking a closer look she was more surprised to see that she wasn't knocked out.
She had shut down "A-A robot?" Frankie says in surprise at this and started to look the strange robot over after canceling her morph.
"Wow. It's like some kind of fusion of tech and nature. They must be interwoven in some way..." She muttered as she started to theorize how that was possible not hearing her name being called.
It wasn't till someone shakes her shoulder making her yelp she noticed the guys caught up "Oh hey you two. How did it..." She started and noticed both looked a little beat up.
"Well we learned a thing or two about tag teams, and how hard a hammer to the gut feels in suit." Charles says.
Cody nods rubbing a shoulder "If wasn't in suit the suit we'd be have been killed ten times over." He says.
Both guys saw what Frankie was doing and looked to her to explain "They're some kind of synthetic robot. I...I'm just getting ready to check out how they work." She says.
Cody raised his hand a bit "Umm...I actually know a bit I think." He says. He then took them to the underground area he found them in, and explained what he heard and saw.
Frankie hummed in thought as she tapped away at the underground computers "I see. That explains those crystals." She muttered.
The two looked at her, but recalled seeing some strange crystals themselves "These three are pretty much walking anti-LJA weapons, but the wisemen AKA scientists of this planet didn't have time to mass produce them when the planet was wiped." Frankie explained.
"And? I mean there has to be more." Cody asked.
Tapping away Frankie cracks a smile "There is actually. Right before Amour was attacked a small group of people escaped on a shuttle." Frankie said.
"What?!" Charles exclaimed surprised to hear this.
She nods and connects her morpher to the computer downloading said coordinates before looking to Charles "Charles...more of your people are alive, and well...according to the files one of them was the queen." Frankie says.
Charles sucked in a breath knowing what that meant "...I really wish Minerva was here now." He muttered.
Cody pats his shoulder before looking to Frankie "You mentioned something about the crystals. Do they have something to do with them?" He asked referring to the three they fought.
Frankie nods "Yeah. Those crystal are basically filled with...well the best way to describe it is a type of energy made by the planet. It produces so much of this energy that it sprouts these crystals. The energy in said crystals have the power of the natural elements." Frankie explained.
"So they used these crystals to make them? Why?" Cody asked.
Frankie grinned "I'll tell you back at the ship. After we gather up a bunch of these crystals." Frankie said to them, and after a few hours spent they returned to the ship.
=UNIVERSE=
In space with the ship set on auto pilot and following Luquier's trail Frankie had set up communications between there ship, Morgana's, and the Moonrunner back on Earth.
"Wait so your saying the properties of the crystals can possibly..." Macha started.
Frankie nods "Yeah! With these we'll be able to get them all back."
"Speaking of the generals we had a run in with someone else on Martiala. V-Saber was there as well. Not just Venus." Morgana said to them as Ahsha hummed wondering what they were searching for.
Frankie then recalled what Luquier said and looks to Kathy on screen "Hey Kathy umm...Luquier hinted you might have an idea about what they may be doing." Frankie says.
For a few seconds Kathy was silent before sighing "Actually...I think she might have been right." She says, and takes in a breath.
"Back when I was with them my operations were constantly watched over by Greion and his party. I...I always got an unusual feeling about them." Kathy said.
"That's mainly because after the first few days they all...changed. I mean they acted the same, but they were also different. It's hard to explain, but they just didn't seem the same." Kathy said to them.
"I see..." Charles said, and the monitors in the front of the ship went off.
Frankie sighed "Well that's our cue to go." She says then looks to Nora.
"Hey. I promise we'll talk again pretty soon." Frankie tells her.
Nora nods smiling "Don't worry I'm doing fine. I got help, but I am glad to hear from you all." Nora says, but Frankie could tell the girl was glad they were all okay.
Cutting communication Frankie went up front to assume control of the small ship as they reached they're next planet on tail of Luquier.
Well that is the end of EP56 of Universe. Now I'll admit I had a lot of trouble figuring out just what to do about Amour, and honestly I still do, but for the moment I'm okay with how it is. I very likely might change things up for it as this part of the arc goes, but I'm proud to introduce Luquier fully. Now then I hope you like how this is going so far, and next chapter we start things with Morgana's group by going to a new (but familiar if you've read LovingGinger30's stories) planet.
