Nora let out a sigh of relief as she relaxed. After what she had been through with a number of other rangers including a 16 year old Kathy she just wanted to try and relax.
Nora arrived home and she was glad that it was quiet for once...or so she thought. She heard a few noises coming from her room, and carefully without making a noise she headed for her room. Not settling for being subtle she threw her door open and when she spotted the individual she jumped at them pinning them to the ground.
"Gah! I give I give!" A familiar female voice called out.
Nora blinked a bit surprised to see who it was "Rachel? What are you doing here?" She asks.
"Umm...I'd answer, but you kind of got me pinned." She replied, and Nora lets her go as she gets up.
Rachel rubbed her head and she got up "Geez. That was some greeting Nora." She says.
"Sorry! So so sorry Rachel. I was just...I mean you were..." Nora starts before groaning.
She collected and calmed herself "You didn't answer my question." Nora says to Rachel.
"Well...it was sis's idea. Sora thought I could use some time with others my own age." Rachel says, and Nora raised an eyebrow at her.
Rachel glanced about before sighing "Okay. I might of also got a bit angry and did something stupid." She says.
"Stupid enough that your sister, and your parents thought it was best to send you here?" Nora asked with a raised eyebrow wondering what was going on in her dimension.
"Yeah. You see despite the peace my sister and her team brought there were splinter groups left from both Diablo and The Cursed Trinity." Rachel started to explain.
She rubbed her head "So after what happened here my sister and her friends decided to pass the torch. I sort of...well got a bit angry with who sis passed her morpher to." Rachel says.
"Someone you have a bad history with?" Nora asked.
Rachel nods "Yeah. Me and her have been sort of...mortal enemies so to say for years. I went off on her, and said a few things that were probably undeserved. I then...compared her to your biological mom." Rachel says and Nora winces.
"I think you were out of line there." Nora says.
"Yeah I know. Only thing I did was get sis and her fiance mad. Sis took it to our parents, and well...once they learned about here they got in touch with your mentor and made arrangements." Rachel finished.
Nora blinks as she was surpised to hear this "Wait...your parents were also..." She started and Rachel nods to her.
"Dad was red, and mom was a silver." She says.
Nora rubs her head "So Macha and Ahsha already know?" She asked, and Rachel nods again.
Nora took a few moments to think about things and sighs "Well you can stay with me for now." She says.
"Thanks Nora." Rachel says and lays on her bed.
It was then that they felt a 'ripple' of power pulse through the town "...You felt that to?" Rachel asked, and Nora nods. Both run out of the room and cut across some alleyways morphing.
"Nora there is something..." Macha says her voice coming on over the comms.
"In town? Yeah. Me and Rachel felt it." Nora told her.
"She's already here?!" Macha says surprised.
=UNIVERSE=
The two turned the corner and saw what was causing havoc "What the...that isn't Link Joker." Nora said.
"And not any kind of Remnant." Rachel says.
Said creature was humanoid in form and rather tall. It looked to be made of black stone and had strange symbols carved into it's body that glowed a a vibrant green. It had molten red eyes and lava like veins as well. A stone axe was grasped in it's hand, and it was using it to destroy whatever was in it's way.
Nora called on her Universe Blaster while Rachel had pulled out a Data Card inserting into the Tri Morpher "Unlock The Legend!" She calls out changing into a female variation of Mighty Morphin Black with the Power Axe in hand.
Rachel rushed forward while Nora blasted from afar, but as Rachel got close one of the glyphs turned red "Re...ject..." The monster's voice garbles out. A powerful pulse of energy flew from his body and and hit Rachel knocking her back.
"What the huh?" She says in shock. The blasts from Nora's blaster on the other hand just seemed to be absorbed into the stone and his eyes and lava like veins glowed brightly.
The strange creature let out a roar his eyes and magma like veins turn purple and he breaths puple fire aiming right at them. Something...someone jumped right in and taped there belt three times rotating it to a different position each time.

++SHINING BREAKER!++
The two were protected as a wave of golden energy was flung at the beast from a sword. When the smoke cleared the unknown figure was revaled.

The figure stood up and dismissed her shield before looking at the two rangers "So you must be Nora, and...well I'll get to know you both later." Kamen Rider Megami says to them.
"Y-Your..." Nora starts having heard about her from Drew, but Megami ran ahead headed right for the rock monster. She turned the dial to 11 and taps it.
++DEITY BREAKER!++
The sacred blade changed to gold with red tinges of energy going down the centeral blade. She cut the monster once across the right arm.
Megami then spun aiming a blow at the stomach. The monster tried to counter swinging it's axe at her. She side steps it and cleaves through the solid stone axe before kicking at the monster.
It stumbles back and acting quickly Megami turns the dial of her driver to the 12 position and opens the driver on both sides before slaming both side back together in poiston.
++THE FINISHER!++
Megami preforms a backflip and tosses the golden blade up into the air before rushing at the monster. She flips on her hands at last second and delivers a powerful kick to the chin to send him flying into the air.
She lands on her feet and charges energy into her dominant hand. The monster crashes into the ground and at the same time the golden blade came down and Megami caught it.
"Gold Impact!" She declared propelling herself into the air and comes down with a war cry slicing right through the monster with her gold coated blade. There was a small explosion as the Sacred Blade reverted to normal.
[Insert Song End]
"If you want to talk better we do it at my place." She tells the two.
=UNIVERSE=
In the RV Nora, and Rachel sat along with Epona Mirai, and her little sister Diana whom they had picked up.
"I'm good little sis. How about letting go of me?" Epona asked as her sister was hugging her rather tightly.
She giggles and does so "Sorry sis. I'm just so glad to see you." Diana says.
Epona smiles and ruffles her little sisters hair "Glad to see you to you little rascal." She says.
"So umm...why are you in town?" Nora asked.
She raised an eyebrow "Drew called me. Said you could probably use some help for a bit. Plus...got a case that I'm working that was going to bring me here." Epona told them.
"Really? What you got going on?" Rachel asked interested.
She snapped her fingers and a screen came down "Zero-One. Bring up Case notes 185 along with File 600." Epona calls out.
A few more screens descend and start displaying various pictures "The target of my case is a man named Arthur Vlad. I was hired by his former assistant because she believed him to be involved in a shady activities." She says.
"And on a more personal note I believe him to be involved with a certain organization." Epona adds on. Nora and Rachel looked at her confused while Diana looked worried.
"You mean Red Constellation?" Diana asked, and Epona nods.
Nora blinked "Wait. You mean that organization? Aren't they...well helping people?" She asked.
Epona huffs "That's what they want you to think. It's a front for Grima's demons while they work to revive him. They use there connections in several fields to find proper vessels for the essence of demons lost during there war." She explained.
Diana bit her lip "Like youth beauty contests..." She muttered, and Epona gives her sister a look of sympathy.
She takes in a breath and lets it out "I know for certain my target is involved with them. As for how much...I think he's is the vessel of one of there highest ranking demons." Epona explained.
"That...is not good." Nora notes.
"It's not. All my leads point to this, and as for what demon. It's name is Orochi." Epona explained.
Epona then brought up the file showing her research on the story of this particular demon "As you can see I went on a deep dive info gathering whatever I could. What I can summarize is this...Orochi is pretty high up on the food chain." She began.
"If I had to guess he is the second in command of the demon army, and the one leading the charge in Grima's revival. I haven't been able to get a handle on his movements till recently. Which is what lead me here." Epona told them.
"Do you think they're working with the Link Joker Armada?" Nora asked.
Epona shakes her head at the question "It's not something they'd do. The demons work together for a common cause, but most of the time they have there own agenda's." She says.
"Some even go off the rails and leave the other demons." Epona adds on pulling Diana close to her.
"So why are they here then? What makes our town so deserving of there attention?" Nora asked.
"That is what I'm trying to figure out. The few things that stand out is your team, and your inhuman mentors." Epona states to her.
Rachel rubs her chin in thought before there was a knock outside the RV. Epona went to check it out and opens the door "I'm sorry, but if your looking..." She starts then stops.
"You told me you'd say when you were heading out Mirai. I found out from your boss that you headed out here." A female voice says, and forces her way inside.
Epona sighs "Sorry. I got called out here by my cousin. There wasn't enough time to tell you." She says to the female.
The person was a young woman in her early 20's with naturally dark skin. Her black hair was sleek and had strands dyed gold while her blue eyes observed the three children in with her. She wore a police uniform that was primarly black and white.
"Oh. Detective Young. It's good to see you again ma'am." Diana greets waving at the detective as her sister closed the door.
"Ah. Diana. It's good to see you kid." Detective Iris Young says to the young girl with a smile.
Rachel looks at the detective then to Epona "You work with a police detective?" She asks.
"On occasion when I have to." Epona muttered then sighs.
"But she's also one of my closest allies." She adds on.
"So she's like you then?" Nora asked.
Epona nods to her "Yes, but Iris has different powers. From different gods." She says simply.
Iris looks to Epona "So catch me up to speed." She says.
After a few minutes of talking Iris nods "I see. So you believe you've finally found Orochi." She says.
Epona nods "Oh I don't think. I know. Damn snake had been dropping a number of hints since the start. I should of noticed." She muttered and lets out a small tsk of annoyance.
It was then that Nora's morpher went off and she picks it up "This is Nora. What's..." She started.
"Ahsha's, and Ramiel have been kidnapped. Cocytus is out cold, and Ethics is offline. The base is wrecked to Nora." Macha began in a panic.
"We were doing maintence on the ship, and suddenly these snake like creatures came out of nowhere!" She continued.
"What!" All five females shout.
"Just get here. Quick!" Macha says, and cuts off the communications.
Epona disenaged Zero-One's profiling mode, and heads for the seats up front and starts it up "Everyone hold on tight, and take one of the front seats. I'm getting us there as quick as possible." Epona says.
"Zero-One conversion 2, Van." Epona then says and there was a series of beeps confirming it heard her, and the RV begins to rather quickly start pulling together and compressing. Soon enough it was a van and Epona took off headed for the HQ.
Umm...Hi. That was the end of this episode, and well...I guess I should address the elephant in the room given I promised to get things out more quickly. Well...I wanted to I really REALLY did, but this last year has been really crazy as had two different medical scares happen. And I personally was suffering from a bit of burnout from writing my Ranger series on top of being a bit uninspired at the time. So I apologize for the incredibly long wait, but things are better now.
Though umm...I have some other news that I figured I should share as well. During my time I was uninspired I had time to look over my work with Xross Force in particular...and realized just how shoddy of a job I was doing. I thought the same thing back then that I am still thinking now, and that is that Xross Force needs a reboot, and it will be getting one. That way I can give the story the treatmeant that it actually deserves, and I can actually do things better than I have it now.
Anyways I hope you all enjoyed this chapter, and while it is somewhat short, and maybe not the best quality from me I hope you enjoyed the return of Epona Mirai AKA Kamen Rider Megami. As for her friend/ally/secondary rider and what group of deities she is themed after...you'll have to just wait and see, but I can assure you the main deity she is themed after is female. So until the next time...which hopefully shouldn't that long this has been your friendly Fanfiction and Fictionpress author Decode9!
