Bayley and Seth knew Milo wouldn't understand well, his mom passing. Garcia thought it was better to wait a bit longer before he and Victoria tell the girls everything that happened between them.
Stuff Garcia didn't even know about till years later, when Victoria had enough of her family and told him the truth.
"Dad, I'm home", Raya called from the front door.
Victoria went down and smiled at her. Their dad and mom coming in from the kitchen.
"So, how did it go? Did you have fun?", their dad asked.
"I did, and I did exactly what you said. He fell right into my lap.", Raya replied.
"Good girl", their dad said.
Victoria didn't know what that meant, except that they had planned something and it had to do with someone.
Their mom's smile left her face.
"I thought I told you to leave that boy alone. He's no good, just like the rest of his family.", their mom said.
Their dad grabbed her by the arm and pulled her away a bit. They could hear him whispering to her, they just didn't know what he said exactly.
He let her go and walked back over to his daughters.
"You do as I say, and we will never have to work another day in our lives again", their dad said.
Victoria was confused by that. She looked at their mom as she rubbed her arm and had this sad expression on her face.
Raya took her hand and pulled her away before she could check on their mom.
"Come on, you have to help me pick out something to wear", Raya said.
As Raya was going through the closet, Victoria sat on her bed.
"So, who is this guy exactly? Why doesn't mom like him?", she asked.
Raya stopped. Her dad had told her not to say a word about Benjamin to her, but they were sisters. She couldn't keep this from her. Victoria might still be young, but she had to grow up now.
Raya went to sit beside her.
"His name is Benjamin Garcia", she said.
Victoria sat up.
"No wonder mom doesn't want you around him. He's bad news, his whole family is. Ray, I agree with mom, stay away from him", Victoria said.
"No. Dad is right. If I play my cards right, I will be Mrs. Garcia and I will never have to lift a finger again. Neither will you when its time", Raya said.
"But, the drugs?", Victoria said.
Raya shrugged.
"I won't be doing any of that. If ever he gets caught, I will just act like I had no clue. Its perfect", Raya smiled.
Victoria didn't like that. She also felt a bit bad for Benjamin.
"Fine. So what do you like about him?", Victoria asked.
"His money", Raya said.
"What happens if you never fall in love with him?", Victoria asked.
Raya snorted and faced her sister.
"This isn't about love. Its about the money, the power. He is taking his dad's place in a few years. Which means, I will be the most powerful woman alongside him", Raya laughed.
Victoria shook her head. Raya gently touched her cheek.
"Forget about love, Tori. That doesn't exist. Money does. You'll realize it when you're older, trust me", Raya said.
"What are you thinking about so hard over there?", Ben asked.
She turned to look at him and smiled.
"Just my sister. She wasn't always like this. My dad, I know it was all him. She always wanted to please him. Especially since we weren't boys.", Victoria rolled her eyes.
Ben nodded.
"I could tell, every time we told him it was a girl, he made a face. Raya always wanted to please him", he added.
He walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her.
"I wish I would have seen it sooner, seen her, the way she was. Maybe I did and I always just made an excuse for her", he whispered.
She smiled.
"Dad always told her to grow up. He caught her playing dolls with me once, grabbed and shook her", she shook her head.
"I never liked your dad.", he replied.
She turned to face him and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I know", she said.
He smiled. Her smile left her face.
"What is it?", he asked.
"You think she will give me a chance? I just want to explain what happened. That it wasn't my fault, or yours", she said.
"Its hard to tell. She's going through so much right now. Bay might be the quiet one, but she speaks her mind when she really needs too", Ben replied.
"I only got to hold her for a few minutes, but it was the most amazing few minutes of my life. I never thought I could love someone so much", she smiled.
Veronica was five months now. Her belly got a little bigger, which Roman loved running his hand over.
Bayley was helping her set up the nursery.
"Have you heard from that woman claiming to be your mother?", Ronnie asked, setting diapers on the changing table.
Bayley played with the baby clothes in her hand.
"No, but its not like dad hasn't tried.", she replied.
"You don't…", Bayley snapped at her.
"No.", she yelled.
Ronnie nodded. Bayley sighed.
"Everything okay?", Roman asked, leaning against the door.
Veronica smiled and went over to him. He wrapped his arms around her. He looked at his sister in law.
"You good, Bay?", he asked.
She nodded.
"I should go. I'm sure Seth and Milo will be home soon. Sorry, Ron", Bayley said, before quickly leaving the room.
Roman looked down at his wife.
"What was that?", he asked.
"It was about that woman.", she said.
He nodded.
"I'm kind of curious too, but we can't force her to do something she doesn't want", he said.
"I wasn't trying too. I just asked if she heard from her.", she said.
He gently touched her cheek.
"Room looks great.", he said, walking in and looking around.
He smirked towards the closet.
"Does she have enough clothes baby", he said.
"I won't buy anymore. My dad actually bought all that.", she replied.
"Yeah, I'm going to have to talk to your dad. We don't even know if it's a girl, babe", he said.
"I know. Trust me", she said.
He smiled and touched her bump.
"I do", he nodded.
"Should I talk to Mel about this? I know its Bayley's decision, but this woman knows things about Raya. Things that can help find her", Ronnie said.
Roman nodded.
"But if you girls go see this woman, and Bayley is not okay with it. You will lose your sister's trust. You and Bay are close. I just want you two to still have that", he replied.
"I know", she nodded.
He brushed his fingers through her soft hair.
"I love you and Rosie so much. Please don't do anything that can cause me to lose you both", he said.
She looked up at him.
"You aren't losing us.", she replied.
Melina set Julian down and he waddled over to the twins playing on the floor.
"They need to stop growing", Brie said.
"I know, its too fast", Melina replied.
"So what's this visit about?", Nikki asked.
Melina had packed a bag for Julian and told Nikki they were taking a trip to see Brie and the twins.
"That woman dad introduced us too...", Mel said.
"Mel, this is on Bayley. We have no…", Melina cut her off.
"But we do. This woman knows something, and aren't you curious how this all went down. I mean, how is Bayley her daughter, but not Ronnie? Why didn't we know about her? Why is she choosing now to show up? This isn't just about Bay, its about us too", Melina said.
Brie and Nikki looked at each other.
"Then we get Bay and Ron over here and discuss this like a family. We vote.", Brie said.
Melina nodded.
"I'm okay with that. We've always done that", Mel said.
Nikki pulled her phone out and called Ronnie. Brie called Bayley. Both women said they would be right over.
"And what if she says something we don't want to hear?", Brie asked.
Melina shrugged.
"How much worse can Raya get", Melina replied.
Bayley and Ronnie arrived. Melina hugging her sisters before rubbing Veronica's baby bump.
"You look so cute this way", Melina gushed.
Veronica smiled.
"So what's this about?", Bayley asked, setting Milo down.
He ran over to the babies and sat, gently playing with them the way he was taught.
"That woman dad brought over", Melina said.
Bayley sighed.
"I already told Ronnie no.", she replied.
"Well tough shit. This involves all of us. What if we aren't Raya's daughters either? What if she took us from other women? We need to know", Melina said.
Bayley could see the worry in their eyes. She sighed and nodded. Melina took her hands.
"But no matter what that woman says, we are always going to be sisters. Even if we aren't blood. I raised you, you are mine", Melina said.
Bayley nodded and hugged her. She knew that was what worried Bayley. That she wouldn't be their sister anymore.
"We are always going to love you, Bay", Nikki said.
Bayley nodded. Their front door opened again. Their dad walked in, followed by this woman.
"We will hear you out. Only if it means helping us find Raya, and killing her.", Melina said.
Victoria nodded sadly. As much as she didn't want that outcome for her sister, she brought this on herself.
"I'll help you", she replied.
