In the large debriefing room, the Magic High Commission was having a meeting discussing the current situation.
"Construction is going swimmingly, but the people are being quite weary about working with monsters right now." Hekapoo said.
"What about Queen Moon?" Omnitraxus Prime asked
"She's still… indisposed," Rhombulus answered. "After what happened we need to keep her away from the construction site."
"What about the princess?"
"When we got to the dungeon we found that she was gone and a hole was dug. We are currently investigating the whereabouts of the exit." Omnitraxus Prime added.
"And what about Marco?" Lekmet asked
"He's… he's too worried about the princess, I've been trying to keep him on track but he's too distracted." Hekapoo said
"Well we can't interfere unless the entire royal family is unable to rule." Lekmet said
"Well I think we need to make an exception right now, we can have Moon's great aunt take over if necessary." Hekapoo said
"I don't think so, we still need to keep the peace between monsters and mewmens and her prejudice ways would make things worse." Rhombulus added.
"True, then I guess i'm stuck with the human then." Hekapoo said as she got up and was about to leave when she was stopped by Omnitraxus.
"Hekapoo, I understand it's annoying but…"
"Omni, not now." She said as she opened a portal and left.

Marco was exploring the construction site seeing everyone trying to rebuild the castle but noticed that some were keeping their distance from the monsters, Marco was about to help but.
"Your Majesty!" Marco looked back and found Higgs, she got down on one knee.
"Yes, is something wrong?" He asked
"Sorry to bother you, but we need your assistance. We captured some looters and we need your input on what to do with them." She said
"Alright, maybe we can…"
"Your majesty! We need your input, we are about to start the throne room and we need to know how you want it to be built.
"Uh okay, maybe we can…
"King Marco, the spiderbites are asking for you." Marco was trying to keep his thoughts in order, but couldn't keep up with the request.
"Alright enough!" Everyone looked to see Hekapoo
"Look, whatever you need, just try to handle it by yourselves, I need King Marco to come with me right now." She said as she dragged him away. After making sure they were alone, Marco took a deep breath.
"Thanks you, that was just way to much for me." he said
"Don't mention it, but this is becoming a problem, dammit if only Moon wasn't the way she is then…"
"Hekapoo, I know that we need a leader, but I'm doing the best that I can, but I strongly believe that if we find Star…"
"Oh for the love of corn, stop asking about having her back now would just cause more trouble!" She yelled.
"W-What do you mean?" He asked
"Marco, right now things are very unstable, and if you think that the daughter of a monster is going to make things better, it's already hard enough for everyone to accept you." She admitted. "Dammit why am I stuck with doing this!" She soon felt a hand on her shoulder and she looked back at Marco.
"Look, I know that this is an adjustment, but we can do this, I know i'm not the best replacement but I'll do better too make it easier for the both of us." he said
"Um Thank you Marco." She said
"Well come on miss, advisor we got work to do." He said as they went back to the fray.
-Elsewhere-
Star was making her way towards, wearing some old tattered clothes, she got from buffrog since her wedding dress was ruined, after a long trek she managed to get to a nearby village.
"Finally!" Star said as she was about to talk to someone, she noticed something was off. She looked around and saw that mewmans were tense and there were hardly any monsters out. "Um excuse me." She asked a stranger who just gave her the cold shoulder. "Okay then…" She then walked off and then looked around and saw that some were giving her some nasty looks. Just then she felt something hit the back of her head, as she felt it she saw that it was mud. She turned around and saw some kids laughing and running away.
"Rude." She said walking away, but soon more things were getting thrown at her, Star was now getting pissed.
"Okay what the hell is your problem!" She yelled.
"Your family, you freak!" A kid yelled as they continued throwing stuff at her, Star had enough and ran up to the kid and grabbed his arm.
"OWW help, the traitor's daughter is hurting me!" The kid yelled.
"What are you talking about!"
"You should know, your father nearly ruined our kingdom!" A bystander yelled.
"He nearly killed the queen!" Another said soon more and more yelling filled the air, Star let's go of the child and was backing away slowly.
"Ok let's all just calm down, i'm sure there has to be a misunderstanding, my father wouldn't…"
"Your father… your the princess of theat traitor!" A man yelled. Star backed away more till she tripped. Everyone then crowded around her and started throwing hurtful slurs.
"Your kind shouldn't be in charge!"
"You should have stayed in the forest where you belong." Star couldn't believe what she was hearing, she had to put a stop to this, but before she could do anything, a hooded figure appeared and threw a bag of powder on the ground creating a smokescreen.
"Come on!" Star heard as she felt a hand grab her and take her away from the crowd, as soon as they were in a safe spot they caught their breaths.
"T-Thanks for the help back there." She said
"No problem." the person said
"Do do you know what's going on, why is everyone so hostile?" She asked
"First let me ask you something, did you mean what you said back there, that the king was your father?"
"Yes?" She said with caution. The person then took off their hood and revealed a familiar face.
"Then you and I have a lot to discuss princess." The woman with a teal hairstreak said.
