Before we start, Geek-Mytho asked about the appearance of the palisman sword and so I'll try to describe it to the best of my ability without colors since i can't decide on which ones are best overall so you can imagine what fits.
Except the blade which should be fire orange or fire yellow as a reference to Galaxia, Meta Knight's sword.
Anyway.
The phoenix sits at the bottom of the sword. It's not so big that it causes issues with mobility nor so small it's tiny. (If it looks weird, shorten the handle a bit.)
The sword itself is also thicker, making it no longer a rapier, but a longsword.

"How should i approach Darius and Eber? Should i even approach them? I could mess things up for them and now Raine's with them...*sigh*" Tate whispered to himself. "What do you think, Nyx?"
The phoenix palisman flew onto Tate's shoulders and chirped. Inside that one chirp were too many words for Tate to count as every palisman soul gave an answer.
"We're going to have to sort through...all of that later." Said Tate tiredly as he gestured towards all his palisman.
He sighed and stared at ceiling as he lied on his bed before he hearing scoff from his bookshelf.
"I still can't believe you made a phoenix palisman and called it "Phoenix"." Mir commented with a frown before taking a pause and continuing. "On second thought, i shouldn't be surprised."
"I'm not naming them something personal." Replied Tate rolling his eyes. "They have their own name- someone's coming."
knock knock*
Tate suddenly heard a knock on his door. He got up from his bed and opened the door. It was none other than the head of the plant coven, Terra Snapdragon.
"Miss Snapdragon. What are you doing here?" Asked Tate in shock and slight fear.
Terra flashed a sinister smile and slowly entered the room.
"You've been assigned a new mission at the knee." She said calmly with a smile. "To help look for titan's blood with Kikimora."
Tate was wary of Terra. There's no way she'd be here just to tell him about a mission, right? Something smelt fishy and Tate did the only thing he could to find out...
He nodded to Terra's words and asked. "I understand, but may i ask why you're...?"
"I haven't finished yet. To help look for titan's blood under MY supervision. The emperor wants to see what you can do with that new palisman, but this is an important mission and I've been told that this palisman tends to...act out. We can't have you destroying anything precious, can we?"
Tate couldn't help but feel uneasy by her remark.

Terra smiled as she walked through the hallways of the castle with Tate in his costume with his palisman on his shoulder next to her. Personally, she found the kid's power and determination admirable.
Shame this was going to be the last time he walks through these hallways.
She didn't know why Belos wanted her to get rid of the boy and even keep him watched the whole time, but orders were orders.
It was Raine all over again. At least with them she could leave some tea dosages for a scout to give while she's away.
Soon, they made it to the airship dock where Kikimora and the scouts were about to head to the knee.
"H-head witch Terra, what are you doing here?" Asked Kikimora upon seeing Terra before turning to Tate. "And you."
Tate frowned at Kikimora's tone before turning to Terra, the real problem here.
"We're joining you for your mission actually. Belos's orders." Said Terra cheerfully as she and Tate stepped onto the ship. "Please take good care of us."
"Y-yes." Kikimora stuttered before turning to the scouts around her that stopped working to listen. "What are you staring at?! Get to work!"
The scouts immediately got back to work and began flying the airships. It was then that Tate noticed Steve staring at him.
Tate acted as if he ignored him and sat down in his ship, which was a signal for Steve to act normal.
It was also an opportunity to think about Terra's presence uninterrupted.
'Did Belos catch onto me already?...No, i would've known if he had seen me.' Tate thought to himself, already feeling pressured. 'It can't be just that he wants to see Nyx's power.'
Sensing his strees, his palisman chirped; reassuring him that they have his back.
Tate paused his thoughts upon hearing the large quantity of thoughts and took a deep breath. He scratched his palisman under the chin. The warmth the palisman emitted calmed him down. He then thought of the one thing he could do at that moment.
'Just hope for the best and prepare for the worst.'

Finally at the knee of the titan, Tate got out of his airship and followed the group heading inside the caves.
'Hunter should be somewhere around here, shouldn't he?' Thought Tate curiously as he surveyed the area.
"What are you looking for, sprout?" Asked Terra with a smile.
Tate turned to Terra and spoke. "Nothing really." He scratched the back of his head.
"Stay focused, this is an important mission. We can't disappoint the emperor now, can we?" Replied Terra as she put a hand on Tate's back.
Tate slowly nodded and followed Terra as Kiki began hysterically ordering scouts and the blights' abomatons around.
At first, Tate was thinking about his situation relating Terra's presence. But when Kikimora fired an attack from her abomaton ride randomly at a tree, Tate truly realized the bigger issue with Terra being here...the danger she posed to the story.
"I just thought i heard an annoying voice." Said Kikimora as she stared the destroyed tree down with suspicion.
"Ugh, that girl has a loose screw." Said Terra with a frown as she lowered a hand she was about to use to fight. "Don't you agree?"
Tate nodded. "I think she's still tense from her failed mission at Latissa." He replied calmly as he pet his palisman.
Terra smiled and walked forwards, making sure her sight was on Tate.
And as they finally found themselves inside the tunnels, Tate took a deep breath and prepared himself for a fight.

"Oh, that poor girl is going through something." Said Eda in pity for Kikimora.
Amity, Hunter, Eda and King peeked over a rock to spy on the Emperor's coven group
"She's also blocking the path to Eclipse Lake." Added Amity.
"You think she's bad, The silver scout can be much scarier." said Hunter narrowing his eyes. "You should stay-"
"Wait, Tate! We can just ask him for help!" Said Eda happily in realization.
"Yeah!" Added King in realization.
"Tell me one reason he'd help you." Said Hunter rolling his eyes.
Amity looked confused at how everyone was calm with asking the silver scout for help and decided to ask.
"Do you know the silver scout?" Asked Amity raising a brow.
Before Hunter could protest, Eda spoke up. "Of course i do, he's my nephew."
"What?!" Exclaimed Amity quietly.
"How do you know that?!" Added Hunter in shock.
Eda ignored them and continued with a mischievous smile. "We just need to get him away from Terra. See ya in a bit."
She and King then left to make a distraction.
But as they were planning their next course of action, a magenta colored fireball was fired at Kikimora.
The abomination Kiki was riding created a force field to block the attack and Amity quickly regrouped with Eda and King.
"Why didn't you wait for our signal?" Asked Eda in confusion.
"We don't have time to play around. We are getting that Titan blood!"
And so, Amity dragged them away to the path to eclipse lake.

"There's someone else in the tunnels. I bet it's him, find him!" Said Kikimora as she picked up Amity's device.
Tate groaned internally at Kikimora's hysterical obsession with the golden guard.
And it seemed that the others were too as the captain of the squad approached Tate and spoke.in a tired tone.
"I'd do anything to have you in charge."
Suddenly, before another word could be said, the entire cave system shook. Kikimora, in her current insanity, believed it was the golden guard.
"I'll find you, golden guard!"
Even Terra was annoyed by this...until she found a nice opportunity.
"Say, would you like me to find him for you?" She asked with a sinister smile.
Kikimora beamed at opportunity. "Yes!"
"I can go with her as well." Added Tate calmly. "I'm very good at tracking."
"NO!"
"That's a wonderful idea." Said Terra cheerfully.
"NO! HE'LL HELP THAT GOLDEN BRAT!"
"Oh, don't worry, Kiki; I'll make sure nothing of that sort happens." Said Terra calmly.
"YES! HE'LL FINALLY GET WHAT HE DESERVES!"
Everyone had to hold in the urge to groan, even Terra who dug her way into the ground with her plants to get to the source of the earthquake. Tate also dashed towards the same location as fast as possible.
But what they found wasn't the golden guard, it was none other than Amity.
Terra quickly captured her as Tate arrived and soon Kikimora also appeared.
"Looks like we found out little fire starter" said Kikimora narrowing her eyes.
"Perhaps she's with the golden guard. You should head on, we'll watch over her." Said Terra with a smile.
Kikimora exploded in cheer and ran off towards eclipse lake with the scout group.
Now that there were no more interruptions, Terra turned to Amity and Tate.
"Now, what to do with you." She said cheerfully. She raised her plants to attack Amity and Tate behind his back.
Amity stared horrified at the plants expecting her end, but was only met with a raging flame that burnt all the plants away.
Tate, now holding his phoenix sword, fired an arc of flames at Terra who blocked using a few thick vines.
"You knew?" Asked Terra raising a brow with a frown as Tate freed Amity.
"Nah, we just had the same idea." Said Tate cheerfully as he got into a fighting stance. "Go! Now!"
Amity took her staff off the ground and ran to eclipse lake as fast as she could. Terra completely ignored her and focused on Tate.
Moments after that, the two clashed.
Tate wasn't on par with someone with the power and experience with Terra. That coupled with him not being used to his new palisman made this a difficult fight.
Eda, who was stuck with King in a nearby crack, knew that even without seeing the fight herself.
"C'mon! Harpy Eda! My nephew's gonna die out there!" Said Eda as she desperately tried to transform. "Ugh! I can't do this! I've tried scaring it, yelling it-
"Have you tried...talking to it?" Asked King.
"Hah! I...I guess I didn't but it- it's a wild animal." Said Eda in surprise at the question.
"You thought i was a wild animal once." Added King.
"Ugh, okay...wait, you want to make a deal?." Said Eda as she closed her eyes to talk with the beast while Owlbert began cracking as he kept them in place. "What? But- okay okay! Just do it!"
Eda transformed and flew out of the giant crack in the ground with King. She quickly noticed Tate slowly being pushed back by Terra as his body sustained some injuries.
"King, go help boots. I'll deal with this." Said Eda with a determined look.
King nodded and took off before Eda dashed towards Terra and punched her in the face.
Terra growled as she stared at the nephew-aunt duo.
"New form?"
"New palisman?"
"Have you ever fought like this before?"
"Nope."
"That makes two of us."
"We can't beat her, can we?"
"Nope."
As the two got ready to fight, the cave violently shook. Taking advantage of this, Tate fired a blast of orange flames at an unstable wall of the cave.
"Run!" Exclaimed Tate before he and Eda began flying towards the exit before it collapses.
Terra was forced to try and catch them while protecting herself from the fallen debris.
Eda took Tate off the ground and flew with him in the air. "I fly, you fire."
Tate nodded and burned away any approaching vines while Eda dodged the debris.
And after one last vine burned away, Tate and Eda made it out of the area as the entrance collapsed.
"*pant* this *pant* won't hold her for long." Said Tate already feeling anxious.
"Right, let's go get the others and scram." Said Eda with a nod of acknowledgement.
The two dashed for eclipse lake as fast as they could without looking back.
There, they found Amity looking defeated and King stuck to a rock by the horns.
"I-i lost the ke-"
Amity couldn't finish before Eda picked her up and put her on her staff.
"Mope later, we need to go!" Said Eda as Tate took King with him.
"What's going on-"
"No time to explain! Just fly!" Said Tate as Eda picked him up and flew out of the cavern with Amity closely following.
It was a few moments later that Amity realized why they needed to leave. Vines began overtaking the cave and breaking through the weaker walls.
"So, i guess this means you're moving in with your mom." Said Eda with a chuckle.
"A fate better than death." Deadpanned Tate.
"You seem a bit too calm about betraying the emperor." Said Amity in confusion.
"I was gonna betray him sooner or later. Shame it had to be sooner." Said Tate calmly. "Now, how do we explain this to my grandparents and my mom without worrying them."
No explanation he had could ever change their worry as they saw his injured form later that night.
