Elsewhere and Elsewhen was skipped to due to the bloody fly effect (boiling isles butterfly effect).
It would mess up a lot of the current story i put down if Philip were to see Tate or his fighting style and remember them.
So, he didn't go back in time with Luz and Lilith.
Gwendolyn probably had him stay with her for the day.

"You want to join the Bonesborough brawl?"
Tate nodded. "I've barely fought anything ever since the game show incident and this sounds like a good excuse to.
"Hmm, i guess that's fine. It's a bit difficult to go with you though." Replied Lilith, who looked exhausted, as she put a hand on her chin.
"Ehh, why?" Asked Tate curiously before his mother lifted her arm that was out of Tate's view and in his sister's crib and he instantly understood the problem. "Oh, again?"
Gwenevere was clutching her mother's harpy form arm with her entire body even with her baby wings, not budging no matter what.
"She's been like this ever since i got back from Philip's time." Said Lilith tiredly as she patter her daughter on the back. "And when i try to get her off, she bites...with very sharp teeth."
"Are you okay?" Asked Tate in concern.
"Oh, I'm fine." Lilith didn't look fine. "In fact, I'll go to the brawl with-"
"You're gonna strain yourself because you feel responsible until you pass out from exhaustion when we need you most." Deadpanned Tate.
"That is...very specific."
"Yeah, i can ask Grandpa Dell-"
"He's not here." Lilith interjected immediately. "Remember his and your aunt's meeting at my job party?"
"Right."
Flashback*
"You disappear from Bonesborough, you're fixing up my old tower, and then suddenly I see you on a wanted poster. And your mother tells me about the petrification. I wish you'd let us help. But I do hear I have a second grandson now."
"Yep, King's a Clawthorne." Replied Eda with a weak smile. "He can be a handful, but-"
"It's been over 20 years, witchlet. I can't chase you anymore." Dell interrupted dejectedly.
"Then stop!" Begged Eda. "I've ruined your life. Have you even been able to carve a new Palisman since I attacked you?"
Dell paused and looked at his hand before sprouting a giant smile.
"Actually, yes. I've carved one and a few toys from normal wood for my granddaughter."
Eda let out a sound of confusion upon hearing that.
"But...how?" She asked with wide eyes in shock. "Not even healers could do anything."
Dell turned to his daughter and spoke "Turns out your nephew had a spell that could help." He held up his wrist for Eda to see. "It doesn't heal the damage, but corrects the mistakes. We put the spell in this bracelet and a few others if anything happens."
Eda stared at the bracelet in shock and Dell continued.
"So, can i forgive you now?" Asked Dell with a smile before Eda burst into tears and hugged him.
And after the waterworks stopped, Dell told Eda about how he's thinking about taking in a second apprentice and how he's helping the Bat queen replenish her palistrom forest.
And after that day, Dell wanted a day to go and bond with Eda after so long.
flashback end*
"And that day's today?" Asked Tate raising a brow.
"Yes and Mom's out for work. So, it's my duty to accompany you to the brawl. Even if there's a baby stuck to my arm!"
"Is there really no one else?"
Lilith nodded and Tate begrudgingly accepted and he believed that nothing right could come out of this.

As Tate and Lilith headed towards the brawl, Tate recalled what this episode was about.
It was about dads. Something he didn't have in both lives. He always wondered what having a dad was like after he finally got a mom.
Which lead to this question.
"Hey, mom. What's having a dad like?" Asked Tate nonchalantly.
Lilith was very shocked by this question. "Do you want a dad?"
"Uhh, no. I just wanna know what having a dad is like...from experience." He said calmly as he looked Lilith straight in the eyes.
"Well, dad treats you the same way he treated us. There's really not much to tell here." Said Lilith putting a hand on her chin as Gwenevere clutched onto her arm.
Tate sighed as they reached the brawl, realizing that his family wasn't going to be able to help with this question.
Lilith, however, looked too deep into Tate's reaction and frowned dejectedly as she stared at her son.
The two then saw the main cast of this episode. Luz, Amity in her disguise, Eda, the blight twins and surprisingly, his own grandfather.
"Edalyn? And dad? What are they doing here?" Lilith asked curiously before noticing Amity. "And Amity...this might get awkward."
Tate shrugged before heading towards the group.
"Hi, Luz. Hi, Amity." Tate greeted the two cheerfully.
"The silver scout." Said Amity wide eyed, recognizing Tate.
"Tate? What are you doing here?" Asked Luz in confusion.
"I'm taking part in the brawl." Replied Tate cheerfully. But before he could continue, someone stepped in between the three.
"You're the silver scout?" It was Edric and Tate nodded to his question. "Did you ever sneeze under your mask?"
"Ehh, sometimes when i forget to remove it." Said Tate with a shrug.
"That's gross, dude." Deadpanned Edric narrowing his eyes. "What about the golden guard?"
Tate rolled his eyes in exasperation before turning to Luz and Amity and asking a question he already knew the answer to with a smile.
"So, are you two entering the brawl?"
"Actually, Amity is." Replied Luz cheerfully. "I'm here for support."
"Is she doing it for her dad?" Asked Tate calmly. "I heard he was pretty good at these duels."
"Uhm, yeah." Said Amity awkward as she scratched the back of her head. She looked uncomfortable with the fact that she would have to fight the one who saved her from Terra back at eclipse lake.
Tate paused and thought about the current situation. There's no reason to mess Amity's plans up.
"*sigh* i can forfeit if you don't wanna fight." Said Tate nonchalantly.
"You'd do that?" Asked Amity in surprise.
"I'm just here for the exercise. Besides, you have your dad to make proud." Said Tate cheerfully. "By the way, how does that feel? Getting a dad's approval. I wouldn't know because *chuckle* I'm a literal clone of my mom, heheh."
Silence filled the area as Amity and the blight twins have Tate an odd look. He quickly realized how awkward things got from his question.
"Well, gotta get ready for the brawl, bye!" Said Tate nervously as he left the area as quickly as he could.
Meanwhile, the older Clawthornes were having some bonding time.

Tate donned a red butterfly like mask with horns and black patterns as the announcer spoke.
"Witches and demons, welcome to the Bonesborough Brawl!" He said enthusiastically as the crowd cheered. "You know the rules. Contestants will fight one on one. Not for honor, not for glory, but for the ultimate bragging rights as the toughest dueler on the Isles!"
The crowd cheered and the announcer continued.
"Last one standing will get the chance to snag the coveted Brawler's Belt from our reigning champion, Warden Wrath!" Said the announcer before gesturing towards Wrath who promptly began showing off his abilities. "For our first round, we have Scab the All-Knowing...vs...The Mighty Mittens! Let the brawl...BEGIN!"
The first match was a quick one as Amity dealt with Scab with ease.
Then it was Tate's turn to fight.
"In one corner, we have the elusive blood digger!" Said the announcer as a witch dug their way into the ring with a shovel. "In the other, we have the Great Knight Morpho!"
Tate landed into a the ring in a spire of flames and pointed his palisman sword at his opponent.
"BEGIN!"
The match didn't last long as Tate quickly sliced his opponent's weapon in half and kicking him out of the ring.
The crowd cheered as the next battle was announced. It went smoothly with one match wom after another until the final match where an expected visitor arrived.

"Stop! This child forfeits the match!"
Alador teleported into the ring in a tower of abomination goo.
Lilith stared at him with a frown as he berated Amity for not going to the coven tryouts.
As a parent knew that what Alador is doing is wrong. It was very infuriating for her to see. So much so that she was too close to ripping off a limb.
Amity was trying to connect with him yet all he does is mindlessly follow the orders of that banshee, Odalia. She'd kill to have Tate do that with her.
Lilith decided to have a very serious talk with him after Amity left and Tate and Luz followed.
She approached him and picked him by the scruff of the neck, not even noticing how Gwenevere was off of her arm.
"Alador, what are you doing?" She asked angrily. "The girl just wanted to have something in common with you and you just brush her off like that?!"
"She has a bright future ahead of her. She-" said Alador as he tried to use his abomination goo to get Lilith off of him.
Lilith saw this and was having none of it. She used the powers of her curse. She ignored the pain as the goo was immediately stopped.
"Listen here, Blight, I've had a son i treated horribly for 15 years and only started caring about him a few months ago. I KNOW what a bad parent looks like. So you better listen before i remove a few layers of flesh."
She showed off her claws threateningly, telling Alador that she wasn't messing around.
It was time for Alador to learn a lesson.

"I'm sorry for what happened. I may not have had a dad, but if anyone i cared about died like that...i know I'd be a mess." Said Tate after hearing about what happened to Luz's father.
"Thanks." Said Luz in a tired voice as Amity still looked horrified by the revelation.
Before Amity could console her girlfriend, scream of a panic could be heard from the brawl ring.
The three teens immediately got up to see the commotion, but Luz fell onto the ground.
"Whoops, looks like i have a case of the ol' jelly legs. I'll catch up." She said in weak cheer.
Amity looked conflicted about going before turning to Luz and yelling.
"I don't know what rituals you have in the Human Realm, but, I'll help you pick some flowers, and we can do something here!" Luz blushed upon hearing her girlfriend's declaration. Then Amity turned to Tate. "And you!"
Tate let out a confused sound.
"We both have some lack of parenthood and we can be friends on that!" She declared before running off to see what was happening.
Tate stopped and smiled. "You have one heck of a girlfriend, don't you?"
"Yeah." Replied Luz with a smile.
"Well, my mom and my sister are back there. Gotta go."

"Gwenevere!"
Lilith flew in as Warden Wrath, who was turned into a monster by Edric's potion, was about to crush her daughter and held up his palm with all her power, including the corruption powers of her curse.
As Lilith winced in pain from using her powers, Gwenevere began crying, distracting Lilith.
But before she could be crushed, Tate rushed in and cut a large wound in Wrath's arm that quickly regenerated
"This is the first time i wasn't able to slice through something." Said Tate with a deep frown.
"Even Alador is having a hard time keeping it in check." Said Lilith as she secured her baby.
"Why does he have so many scratches on his face?" Asked Tate in confusion noticing Alador's face.
Lilith cleared her throat. "I may or may not have given him some parenting advice." She said with an embarrassed smile.
"Pfft." Tate fought hard not to laugh.
But the laughter had to stop as they dodged an attack from the beast Wrath. Lilith then noticed Eda gesturing to her.
"I think Edalyn has a plan." She said in a serious tone. "We need to distract it."
Tate nodded before he and his mother began their attack. They did just enough damage to aggravate Wrath and pull his attention.
This allowed Eda and Luz to safely drop a large amount of ice on top of Wrath, detransforming him.
Lilith let out a sigh of relief as the fight ended and Tate had his palisman perched on his shoulder before approaching his mother.
"Is it just me or are you getting cooler every day, Mom?" Asked Tate cheerfully.
"Oh, you're just saying that." Lilith with embarrassed laughter said.
"Mama."
Tate and Lilith turned to the source of the sound, which was Gwenevere.
"What did you just say?" Asked Lilith in shock.
"Mama" repeated Gwenevere.
Lilith immediately fell onto the floor, scaring Tate in the process.
But when he checked on her, he let out a sigh of relief.
Lilith was crying tears of joy as she hugged her baby daughter.
Meanwhile, Tate got a new friend.
