"Attention, attention! All students who do not have club activities must head back home immediately. We repeat; All students who do not have club activities must head back home immediately. Have a wonderful evening." The voice of the principal was heard throughout the school, the announcement was repeated multiple times these two days due to the number of unexplained disappearances which suddenly started occurring in Fuyuki.

The school bell rang for the last time.

Shirou was free once again.

[I do not get it, going to school is just a waste of time, my grades are already so high. Maybe I'll use the Holy Grail War as an excuse not to go to school next month.] Shirou thought to himself as he walked out of class. The sun was dawning and the sky was a brilliant orange color wrapping all what lies below in its brilliance.

"Senpai—" A familiar voice came from behind him, he felt the approach before he heard the sound but had to pretend to be surprised.

"Ah, Sakura, don't sneak up on me like that, you know I get scared pretty easily." He said, placing a hand over his chest as he fakely staggered away from the teenage girl with purple hair.

"That's not true, senpai is brave, he didn't even flinch when a glass window almost fell on him last month." She giggled after she finished talking.

[That's right, being scared of death is pointless, because it will reach out to you when it wants and grabs you when you're least expecting it. That's death for you. But I was too careless, I was supposed to act scared...]

He shook his head and placed a hand on his neck: "Well, it was just because I didn't see it fall, if I did I would have pissed my pants!"

Sakura laughed cheerfully upon hearing that.

But his easy-going attitude didn't change.

He was not charmed by her in the slightest.

Suddenly, he felt a hand on his shoulder: "Emiya-kun, would you mind if I talk to you for a minute?" It was Rin Tohsaka. The honorary student spoke to him while shooting an intense gaze at Sakura, who then immediately lowered her head and left.

"Huh? Tohsaka Rin of all people wants to talk to me?" He said, trying to conceal his nervousness which suddenly surfaced.

The pigtailed girl pointed at him, then herself while saying: "Yeah, you, me, now." She was not asking, and he knew it.

They walked to an empty clearing around the playground and then abruptly stop when no one was able to see them.

"So? What's this about?" He asked, a bit more relaxed since no one was in their immediate vicinity.

She raised an arm and pointed at him. "Stop it!" She ordered.

"Stop what?" Shirou questioned, trying to buy time.

She took a step towards him so that her finger touched his chest in accusation. "I know you're hiding something, you will tell me everything right now." Tohsaka said.

"I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about." He dodged, looking away as her face came closer to his.

"I've seen your so called sister! She's an Einzbern Homunculus! You cannot possibly be a normal student!" She raised her voice as she spoke, also clicking her finger into his chest a couple of times, irritated by his demeanor.

[Ah... So that's what happened, damn it, Illya I told you to stay hidden around the time we come out of school.]

"Einz-What? Tohsaka, did you hit your head or something?" He said, denying her accusations.

"Stop making me sound crazy and admit it!"

"Admit what?"

"Admit that you're a—"

All of a sudden, he pushed her towards a nearby wall, then he hugged the wall as well, as if hiding from someone or something"

"Ow— You— What do you think you're doing?!"

"Shhhh!"

He pointed towards a small black mouse that was following them ever since they split up from the others.

"That thing, it's a familiar of some sort!" She commented, letting her voice alert the animal pinpoint their general location.

He forced her head back into cover.

"Ouch! You don't have to be so vulgar!" Tohsaka said, nursing her pain that was a result of Shirou pulling on her pigtails.

"I told you to shut up!"

"Wha—Ha!" Shirou threw her out into the open, causing the approaching mouse to spot her. It then changed its form, melting into a black liquid then reforming back into a wolf like creature with rows and rows of teeth.

The feral creature growls as Tohsaka attempts to stand back up. But the beast was faster, and it pounced on her to attack.

She attempted to charge a Gandr on her finger but she was too late, and in a last second effort, she redirected the mana into reinforcing her arm, hoping that it wouldn't be chopped off and eaten.

*STAB*

Blood droplets spilled into the ground.

Rin's arm was unharmed, but Shirou's hand was inside the creature's mouth. The droplets become a waterfall of blood, gushing out uncontrollably. Rin was terrified but Shirou smiled, he had it in the perfect location.

He moved his hand slightly and the wolf-like creature was split in half with a giant sword that appeared out of nowhere, and just as abruptly as the beast appeared, it dissolved into black mud.

Tohsaka stared at him with eyes wide of shock.

"Yeah, I'm a mage, so?" Shirou announced, stabbing the greatsword into the ground.

On another side…

*Bonk* The sound of something impacting flesh.

"It doesn't even hurt anymore, so stop!" Shiki addressed his teacher, who was so bent on teaching him reinforcement that she spent almost a full hour hammering his arms with a wooden club.

"Not until I feel the strengthening within your arm! Watch it now or I may unintentionally break your arm." Aoko replied with a determined smile, she seemed to be enjoying this.

"I am trying, alright? Also you look like you're enjoying this way too much! Can we do something else?" He demanded, feeling as if this time can be used doing something else other than being beat up.

"Hmm, yes, but not until after you master this reinforcement technique." She said preparing to strike again.

Shiki did not notice her preparing: "Sigh… It's a nice feeling though, doing stuff other than cutting things or people… Or being depressed at that..." He said to himself, shaking his head.

*Bonk*

"Ouch!" He screamed in pain, Reinforcement kicking in in the last moment to save his bones from being broken.

"Concentrate!" Aozaki Aoko demanded!

"Alright, let's see…" Bazett stood in a dark room.

she drew the summoning circle, and with a red spear hilt in the middle, she began chanting.

"Silver and iron to the origin. Gem and the archduke of contracts to the cornerstone.

The alighted wind becomes a wall. The gates in the four directions close, coming from the crown, the three-forked road that leads to the kingdom circulate.

Shut.

Shut.

Shut.

Shut.

Shut.

Simply, shatter once filled.

I announce.

Your self is under me, my fate is in your spear.

In accordance with the approach of the Holy Grail, if you abide by this feeling, this reason, then answer.

Here is my oath. You who trained in the land of Shadows, I am the one who lays out all the evil of the land of shadows!

You, seven heavens above, clad in three words of power, arrive from the ring of deterrence, O keeper of balance!"

Light blinded her for a good moment, and once it faded, she simply was too overwhelmed to react.

"Servant Lancer… Master? Are you okay? you seem pale."

"You're not… Cú Chulainn…"

"Cú? You mean Setanta? I apologize but I am not him, my True Name is Scáthach."

"Whoa—"

The newly summoned servant pushed her master away, in the exact same moment a small blade hit the spot where her arm was. The woman in purple and brown tights summoned a spear and threw it in the direction where the blade came from before breaking into a chase.

Bazett quickly analyzed the situation, she went to where the blade was, a cross shaped blade that was only used by... She bit her lip, then she dashed after her Servant.

"Ladies! Are you ready to witness True Magic?" It was the tanned blond man, Atrum Gallista, sitting on a clearly expansive chair, surrounded by a fifteen women of different races and origins. He basked in one of his most glorious moments, that a crazy idea made its way into his head.

"Yes!" The women said collectively as if brainwashed.

"Then look at this, the Summoning of a Servant! A miracle far beyond your imagination!" The tanned blond man finally stood from his expansive chair.

He walked towards the Summoning Circle which was drawn for him earlier. He suddenly felt some hesitation, after all, even though he had the Argo coin, the perfect catalyst to summon one of the Argonauts, he could even summon Hercules if was lucky enough... But... he was not going to use it.

He will summon a good servant that is closest to him in terms of personality, instead of relying on a cheat such as a Catalyst.

He started chanting the incantation when all of a sudden the circle began glowing... And before he could even activate his circuit, an antic pistol which was wrapped around his waist, started glowing as well...

"What!? What's going on? This isn't..."

The circle finally burst into a pillar of light, and then a Servant was standing in front of him. "Servant Caster, Anastasia Romanov…"

She stood, the water in the pool behind her turning into solid ice. The sparkling of the evening sunlight reflecting unto her snow white hair, and the jewels in her dress.

"Why! Why are you here, I haven't even finished the incantation yet!" He screamed, his facial expression turning into one of clear frustration and anger.

Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanov did not appreciate that as a first impression about her summoner, clenching her straw doll she backed away slightly terrorized at the sight of the weapon which ended her life wrapped around his middle. "I do not know what procedures you modern mages utilize to call upon a Servant, but I realize it must be that pistole which caused me to manifest." She announced, trying to stay calm and maybe calm him down as well...

Little did she know that only served to make him more furious.
