"Saber, what do you know about the Matous?" Shirou was sitting near the table, while Saber in her black dress was swallowing one packet of French fries after the other.
Illya was... Strangely absent from the scene.
"Huh? Oh… My other self had memories of them, let me see… The family is supervised by an old magus called Zouken Matou, and consists of Shinji's father and uncle, as well as Sakura… Although… Sakura emits a different aura than the rest of the junk…" Was Saber's response.
"Yeah that's true. Because she's not a Matou but a Tohsaka…" Replied Shirou without even blinking.
Saber's pale golden pupils shrunk and her attention was drawn away from the food.
"How did you know that, Shirou? No, how can you be so sure?" She said interrogatively.
He shrugged. "Call it a gut feeling… But I know it's true."
Shirou dropped on his back and stared at the ceiling, then at the two remaining command seals on the back of his hand.
Saber did not like that 'gut feeling'. She shook her head making her pale hair flutter, then she resumed inhaling the fries.
"Where is Illya anyways?" Shirou asked.
"Feez atch dah dokjo... (Read: She's at the Dojo)" said Saber without even bothering to stop chewing, Shirou wondered if she had a black hole or something in her stomach

Nighttime, Fuyuki bridge…
A ball of darkness rolled from under the flickering spotlight and reappeared again as a humanoid figure. The darkness grew a head and limbs but it was still darkness, it smirked, as she noticed a person approaching.
A young girl with purple hair was crossing the bridge, a very normal sight to regular humans yet, this girl strangely sent shivers down his metaphorical spine.
She was too dangerous to be left alive. He had to do something now, before it's too late…
He placed a hand on his shoulder and cracked it, then completely taking off his arm, making it completely separate from his body. It began swirling in his hand before it turned into a ball of pure darkness.
He took it and attempted to throw it in the direction where the girl—
She was no longer there.
"Come and play~ Let's have fun together!."
Chaos shivered at the sound ringing in his ear and the sudden feeling of a presence which dwarfed him standing behind him. He immediately jumped away, the voice and the terror yet to leave his body. He knew this feeling all too well. He was standing in front of literal Death.
He could not allow himself to die... Not again... So he simply retreated, dissolving into the shadows and escaping towards his lair.
.
.
"Are you sure this is going to work? What if he notices our approach?"
"No he won't, I surrounded us by a special bounded field, he cannot notice us unless he looks at us directly."
Anastasia and Shiki were secretly following a black hound. It was almost midnight, and now, they had an important role in the plan to take down Berserker.
[Hear me out, you will enter his lair from the front door, once you're sure the main body is inside, have Caster send us a signal, we will storm the place and surround him with any means necessary, Shiki has experience fighting him so listen to everything he says. Berserker dies tonight.] Shiki revised Tohsaka's plan in his head.
He turned to one of the nearby skyscrapers and noticed a purple shadow dash from one side to the other, that was Lancer.
On the other side, he saw a red flash.
The hound suddenly stopped, and Shiki would have revealed himself if Caster did not stop him with her hand.
It stood in place for a moment, then it started melting and flowed like a liquid towards an antique building that used to be a hospital.
"That must be the lair, I can sense magical energy radiating from there." Caster whispered.
Shiki felt sick to the stomach, he felt this before, he knew what it meant. Chaos, he was definitely in there, he was waiting for HIM.
"Let's go." Shiki whispered back to Caster.
They walked out of cover and headed towards the old building. Shiki preparing himself physically and mentally for what was to come.
Inside, Shiki covered his nose with a handkerchief he had in his pocket. The smell was unbearable, like rotted meat and… Blood…
Shiki's instincts were screaming, he only managed to suppress the desire to Kill because of Caster accompanying him. But even that had its limits…
"Wha—" Shiki exclaimed as terrible things entered his vision.
He double checked if he was wearing his glasses because he was seeing them.
Lines and points violated his vision and made his head start to ache… Shiki cursed himself as he removed his glasses and placed them in his pocket, eyes glowing fierce blue.
"Master, I confirm the presence of a Servant nearby. Should I send the signal?" Inquired Caster, who's steps were freezing the liquids on the ground.
"Yes, send it quickly." He affirmed.
Caster gathered her magical energy, raising Viy up towards the ceiling.
All hell broke loose at that moment.

"A blizzard destroyed the roof of the building. Master, this must be the signal." Archer proclaimed to his Master.
"Yes, let's go Archer." Rin affirmed, and was about to leap off the skyscraper if she wasn't suddenly startled by a voice behind her.
"Ho? You already found Berserker's lair? Impressive... Tohsaka…" A familiar voice which made Rin shiver.
"Emiya Shirou!" Tohsaka jumped back and readied herself for battle.
"Nah, I'm not gonna kill you just yet." He smiled. "I'm going to watch how you're going to handle Berserker. Look!" He moved out of the way, then a Black bolt of lighting crashed at the place where he used to stand. "I even brought Saber with me. If you fail, I'm blowing the place up." Shirou announced as a fully armored Saber appeared from the smoke, standing firmly alongside him.
"You…! I cannot believe it! Did you summon a Saber or a grenade launcher?!" Shirou chuckled as he heard her complain.
Saber though, she frowned. "Watch your words, worm. I may be bound by Master's command but I can still make the blast larger when you fail."
Tohsaka cringed at that, as if they were going to fail! With three servants there was no way they'd lose to Berserker.
"Hah, the least of my concern, grenade launcher, don't act like you have unlimited magical energy." Archer replied instead of Rin, then shot a glance full of enmity towards Shirou. "And you… Emiya Shirou, you'd better be ready when I come for you..."
Archer and Tohsaka leaped off, leaving a pissed off Saber and a mildly annoyed Shirou.
"Master, please let me reduce them all to cinders!" She pleaded, fire in her eyes.
"In due time, Saber, in due time."

"Master! There are too many of them! I request permission to use my Noble Phantasm!"
Anastasia asked, basically screaming, but even that could barely be heard due to the immense sound of roaring echoing in the room. The moment Anastasia sent out the signal, red eyes started popping out of the darkness, countless eyes, and then shortly after that they attacked from every possible direction. Beasts came from everywhere, some of them were just small birds, the others were elephants, serpents and huge tigers too.
[Is this a Servant, or a goddamn Zoo!?] Anastasia thought.
"Yes Caster! Use it!" Shiki finally answered after he gracefully sliced an attacking Chimera to shreds, only to be attacked by two wild cats which appeared from behind him.
The dance of Death continued, Caster conjured a blizzard, distancing herself from the beasts, if only for a bit. Then she raised her doll high above her head.
"Come to me! Viy!" Light erupted, blinding everyone in the room, then a cold blizzard shook the building. When Shiki looked again, he saw darkness engulfing Caster, a warm familiar darkness.
"Viy, lay waste to my enemies, show them how a superior familiar fights! Show them who you are...! Viy, Viy… Viy!"
Anastasia's eyes closed, the darkness around her opening its eyes in contrast, it extended its tendrils towards the beasts, they noticed the difference in their ranks as familiars. The smaller, less powerful beasts turned tails and tried to run, only to be captured by the freezing wind that whirled in the building. While the bigger and stronger familiars stared into the blue crystal orbs, Viy's eyes.
Shiki backed up to where Anastasia stood, it was safe there and the warmth given by Viy only confirmed it.
The whirlwind of snow and ice finally stopped, snowflakes fell from the frozen ceiling.
Shiki stared in disbelief as all the beasts became perfectly sculpted Ice statues, but his instincts wouldn't stop, his eyes were burning, his hand holding the knife became restless and he felt an urge to Kill.
He slowly turned towards Anastasia. One step after the other, he approached her defenseless back.
He raised his knife and stabbed the point of death.
A scream was heard.
.
.
"What the—"
Rin exclaimed as she entered the building, almost falling on her ass due to the slippery icy ground.
She could see the grin on Archer's face although he was in spirit form. Casting a spell on her footing to make it more walkable, she entered the main hall and immediately drew a huge breath. "Shiki!"
"Master!"
Anastasia hurried towards her Master whose hand was suddenly in the mouth of an angry alligator that somehow survived the Noble Phantasm.
Shiki moved his hand a bit, he didn't feel pain because he managed to 'Kill' the thing before it bit. It melted into black mud, then started flowing away.
He then heard Rin shouting his name, as she ran in his direction, he showed his hand to Caster to assure her he was fine before Rin came over.
"Ah Tohsaka, you're a bit late… Where is Bazett?" Rin opened her mouth to speak but was interrupted by Bazett dropping down from the hole in the ceiling.
"So where is Berserker?" Asked Bazett.
"Right below us." Lancer answered after materializing.
"I confirm it, he's in the basement." Shiki said after Lancer finished.
"Then let's go, we can't risk him running away." Shiki nodded and started sprinting after Bazett and Lancer, leaving behind a mouth opened Tohsaka Rin, Archer and Caster.
"What are we waiting for?"
Caster asked.
"N-Nothing! I saw Shiki's hand being bitten by a goddamn crocodile so I assumed he was hurt. Apparently not…" Rin answered, flustered by the situation.
"Let's go!" Archer prompted the two to follow already.
.
.
The basement, a terrible silence filled the air.
The first steps of Shiki and Bazett in the basement were accompanied with 'Ewwws' because there was a layer of black muddy liquid which stinked and they just had their toes dipped in it.
After advancing through the liquid, they found a spot where they can stand untouched by that horrible smelly substance.
But, just as they were getting their bearings to start actively looking for Berserker, he appeared right in front of them.
"Aha…. Aahahahahahahahah! If it isn't Shiki Tohno…! Long time no see, Boy!"
Chaos's form suddenly transformed into his old self. A white skinned huge man with very short silver hair and a dark blue coat.
"Chaos! Didn't you learn anything from our previous encounter?" Shiki replied, he suddenly started feeling like Anemia, but he shrugged it off, knowing it was just phantom pain.
Chaos lifted his arms as if welcoming Shiki. "Oh yes, indeed I learned! I learned that all mortals must become part of me, including you!" He announced.
"You're insane!" Shiki said, "You always have been."
"Hahahah! But it's weird! I do not see the Princess with you, did you kill her after all? Or… Aahahahahahahahah! Roa! That fool... Did he kill her?!"
"Roa?! You mean the serpent of Akasha?!" Inquired Bazett, there was still no sign of Rin showing up.
Chaos put a hand over his face, letting a toothy smile draw on his face. "Oh yes! But who else could he be?! Shiki! Did he kill her?! Tell me Shiki! What happened after you killed me!"
"... Chaos... I'm tired of waiting, I'm gonna take a break. Bazett! Watch out from me." Shiki closed his eyes, then he opened them again, a different air was around him.
It was like he was a different person, even his tone changed when he spoke. "Then let's start, Chaos. I'll fucking rip you apart."
It was at that moment, Bazett told Lancer to stay back.
.
.
"For the last time, No! We can't cross over this. If this touches you it's like he will have a hand attached to you at all times!" Tohsaka told Caster who was nervous about her Master.
Caster backed up and looked ahead in disdain. "Then what can we do? Do we leave them in such a situation and just stand here?"
"I'm thinking! Let me think!" Tohsaka said.
Archer materialized near Rin and sighed… "Master, I have an idea."
