Shiki descended into madness before, this was not new to him but to this day, he has never felt the urge to let his instincts take control of his body unrestrained... This was for the good of everyone in the city...
Shiki pressed his head down, his whole body sank, then he was no longer there.
"Nanaya Technique: Shadow Step."
Shiki whispered, he was behind Chaos before anything could perceive his speed.
He drove his knife forward in one swift motion but it was only met by emptiness. Berserker opened a hole in his chest just so that he wouldn't be stabbed with Shiki's knife.
Shiki tried to retaliate by driving the knife upwards, but Chaos did not stand in place, raging tendrils emerged from his back spreading in all directions.
Shiki had no option but to leap back, and he did so while slashing away at the incoming tendrils trying to pierce him.
"You…! You changed!"
Nrvqsr Chaos turned to face Shiki.
"Nanaya Technique: Moonstride."
Shiki was again behind Nrvqsr. This time upside down, he sliced aiming to decapitate, but Nrvqsr moved his head to dodge.
"Nanaya Technique: Shadow Step!"
Shiki became a flash, surprising the servant with his speed, he sliced through the neck, the back of the head, from the right eye to the lips, the right shoulder, the left armpit to the right ring finger, left elbow, the left thumb, left collar of the gray coat, from the right rib to the heart, from the stomach to the abdomen twice, left groin, the right leg, and both the kneecaps.
"Hngh!" Chaos attempted to scream, but only a muffled screech was audible, he was dissected into twenty four pieces.
Shiki did not stop or falter, he scanned the room in search of weak points.
"Analysis Start…!"
And he found just the one that would serve the purpose he had in mind.
"Nanaya Technique: Lunar Eclipse."
A slash was heard wide and clear. Chaos writhed in pain as Shiki jumped to the ceiling and down at him within a single breath. Chaos could not possibly react as his squirming remains were split in two.
"Chaos, it's over."
And the rubble that came after crushed what remained of the Berserker servant.

"I am the bone of my sword…!"
Archer chanted as he aimed his bow towards the slimy black liquid.
"Caladbolg!" He screamed the weapon's true name and released the spiral sword.
The building shook as the sword erupted into a heat dome upon contact with the black substance.
Caster and Rin cowered behind a wall to not get hit by the debris, Archer's plan was to evaporate the liquid or at least, put a hole big enough in the ground so that the liquid level lowers.
And it seemed to be effective, as the liquid level started to lower at a surprising rate.
"Let's go, Master, Caster."
Archer said as he broke into a dash.
"Well, that worked…" Rin commented.
"Let's go!" Caster said before she followed Archer.
"I'm coming!"

Bazett was shocked, an experienced vampire hunter he said, more like an expert murderer, how can he hide such killing abilities behind a childish face such as his?
She herself wouldn't have stood a chance against a monster like Chaos, but he didn't even flinch, that's a whole new level of monstrosity.
Bazett eeked as she felt something touch her legs.
"What the hell?!"
Lancer exclaimed.
Shiki, too, looked at his feet in surprise.
That black substance from earlier began to swell on their clothes.
Shiki cursed under his breath as he drove his knife back and forth near his legs but in vain.
He was not able to see the "Death" on this substance.
"Master! This is bad, this… Thing is drawing life force through the clothes! If we don't do anything about it, you will be sucked out dry of life force! Or even worse!"
Lancer spoke, she was terribly disappointed with herself, how could she not notice such an obvious trap?
.
.
.
"Damn you Chaos! To think that even after death you'd still cause me trouble!"
Shiki screamed internally, having your life force sucked out of you was not painless.
"Kid! The hell?! What happened to you?!"
Archer finally reached the scene.
"Archer...! Berserker is dead, but this substance is absorbing life force from us… Maybe he's attempting resurrection!"
Lancer explained while panting heavily... Sweat droplets started to form on her forehead.
"Well… I guess you did your part… Now it's my-"
Archer swiftly projected a sword and threw it at a nearby window where a white string bird stood.
"Emiya Shirou was watching all this time…"
"Archer!"
Rin screamed as she ran in, Anastasia following right behind her.
"What is going on?! Why is everyone on the ground? And where is Chaos?!" Asked Anastasia.
"Chaos is dead. But he will resurrect if we don't do anything about this… Magical parasite…"
Archer answered hurriedly, Rin quickly came and knelt near Shiki.
The liquid squirmed as she attempted to touch it, causing Archer to slap her hand away.
"Ouch! That hurt!"
"You stupid! You were going to get infected too!"
Archer proclaimed.
"I can't heal it without contact! I've got to touch it to help him!"
"Oh move away you stupid! Watch and be quiet."
Archer turned back towards Shiki and spoke in a low tone.
"I am the bone of my sword…"
Rin's eyes widened as she heard the self hypnosis incantation.
"Magical providence, O-Natural keeper of this world…"
Energy began welling from Archer's hand. It formed and deformed into various shapes. Until…
"Return all to its origin… Rule Breaker!"
The noble phantasm's true name was spoken within Archer's head, a jagged dagger radiating divinity was created in his hand.
"What in the world…!?"
Shiki exclaimed before closing his eyes instinctively as Archer took the dagger and stabbed the black thing on his feet with it.
"Don't worry kid, it won't cause you pain, You did well taking on Berserker alone."
Shiki opened his eyes to see the black thing shrinking and squirming until it became nothing but black water.
"Uhh… I don't know how you did that but thank you, I guess."
Shiki put his glasses back on and to his surprise, they worked, then he felt an enormous nausea take over him, well, that's only natural after exhausting his body like that.
Caster hurried to his side and carried him on her back with little difficulty.
Archer stood up and looked at where Bazett and Lancer were, the black thing on their clothes also flowed back into black water.
Lancer stood up with visible difficulty, helping Bazzet by holding up her Master's arm around her neck.
"Rin… What are we going to do now?"
.
.
"Interesting one… Archer…"
Spoke an Emiya Shirou that had his consciousness linked to a Rat familiar inside the old hospital.
"But it's disappointing really… I thought you may at least notice the obvious trap I set up... A very simple decoy was all it took to make you relax and lower your guard... And now..."
Shirou looked away, retracting his consciousness from the familiar, and looked at his servant.
Artoria was getting bored, they were standing there for over half an hour, she attempted to amuse herself by fantasizing herself driving a motorbike that was parked on a nearby alleyway.
"Saber, let's go home."
"Huh…?"
"What?"
"That's it? We're not going to engage them? They're weak right now, we can easily-"
"We won't do that, although they are tired right now, they still have Archer and a new servant that we have never seen before. She did not even attend the meeting, and Assassin and his Master remain unknown."
Saber frowned at the response, she knew he was hiding a motive.
"Master, what are you thinking?"
"We will form an alliance with Rider's Master. If he or she resists, I know how to force them into obedience."
And with that, the Master and his Servant leaped off the skyscraper, disappearing in the night sky under the crimson moon.

"Good Morning. Today on Fuyuki News, we received new information regarding the unknown howling heard throughout Miyama last night. A pack of untrained dogs escaped from a PMG dog training facility, reports say that the dogs were all gathered during the night and there are no missing cases.
Another note revealed, our investigators found that the pack of dogs took the old hospital building near the residential district for a lair, and thus were easily all recovered…
"
"So all of that was covered up by that Kirei guy? He sure knows what he's doing."
Spoke a bedridden Shiki as he turned off the TV. He was not sure what exactly happened to him or where he was, but the presence of his servant made him certain that he was fine.
Although she did not materialize and he didn't want to force her.
A few moments later, the door opened revealing Rin and Bazett accompanied by their servants, Bazett came in first followed by Lancer.
"Good to see you awake, you passed out after Archer... treated you. How are you feeling?"
Bazett asked in a friendly tone.
"I'm feeling okay, I'm still a bit woozy because I overexerted my body but I should be fine by tonight."
Shiki answered with a smile on his face.
"Thank God, I thought you flipped a switch there, when Bazett explained what happened to you...I'm glad you're okay."
Rin said.
"Y-yeah, thanks."
"Good grief boy, you turned out to be more of a killing machine than you already are. What was that back then?"
Archer asked with a grin on his face.
"I don't know, I…"
"Archer, I believe that's not the proper way to express gratitude. I doubt that you alone could have beaten Berserker."
Lancer scolded Archer who decided it was okay to just shrug.
"Uhh, Tohsaka… Where exactly are we?"
Shiki asked the perfectly natural question.
"This is my place… Just a small house I rented near Fuyuki bridge. It was closer than the Tohsaka household and our condition was not permitting to let us go all the way back to the Tohsaka mansion."
Bazett replied upon crossing her arms over her chest.
"I see… So what happens now? We've beaten Berserker, aren't we supposed to be enemies…?"
Shiki questioned once again.
"Yeah, that will be the case once you get your reward for beating Berserker. Once you're back on your feet, we'll get you to Kotomine Church. Then we'll see about this… Friend or Foe stuff."
Answered Bazett.

Last night…
"Shirou, what are the results? Did you get him?"
Illya questioned Shirou as he entered the sitting room.
"Nah. The new guy got him."
"The new who? Shirou, didn't you say there were only three people who attended the meeting?"
"Yes, only three people attended the meeting, Tohsaka, Me, and Bazett Fraga McRemitz, he's a Master of a servant I never saw before and He seems to have spent some time with Rin based on how Archer addresses him.
Worst case scenario, they forged an alliance."
Explained Shirou without even missing a beat.
"That's very dangerous, what's your plan, Shirou? I recommend-"
"I'll get the Matous to ally with me, if they refuse I'll burn down their home."
