Shirou reached the Matou mansion, he noticed the bounded field set up but did not care, he walked right into it.

Just as he did that, one, two, three, four… Four swarms of bladed bugs rose from the grass surrounding the mansion and flew towards him with incredible speed.

Only for half of them to get burned with a blast of mana from Saber's sword, who just appeared from seemingly nowhere.
The other half evaded Saber's attack and headed straight for Shirou's face and vital organs, but all they perceived was a one chant aria.

"I am the bone of my sword…!"

Flames engulfed the hoard of bladed insects turning them into nothing more than a bunch of crisps.
The sword Shirou held was red and curved, it spiraled a bit but was still a straight sword. A hint of black tainted the middle of the blade that left swirls of red in its wake.
Shirou grasped the blade firmly, after all, this is the blade he stole from his other self.

"Hoh, interesting sword, Shirou. Is this one of those that you took from Archer?"

Shirou nodded and smirked, this feeling was just amazing, was his other self this powerful?

"Let's go, Saber…"

The duo then, kicked open the front door, and were greeted by a malicious stench...

A hunk of worms squirmed in a corner began to form and take the shape of an old man.

Saber's face contorted in disgust, for an obvious reason.

"Well, if it isn't Emiya Shirou… What brings you to my… Humble settling…"

"Saber, is this the Worm magus you told me about?"

Zouken raised an eyebrow at the sight of Saber.

"Hmph, he's not worthy of our time… Let's go find Rider, Shirou."

"No, he's actually worthy, let me ask you something… Zoulgen Makiri… For how long are you planning to escape death?"

Zouken chuckled at the question.

"... Bold words coming from someone who is rather… Elusive of death… Shouldn't you be dead ten years ago? Reduced to literal cinders?"

The amber eyes of the redhead switched to pure gold that moment.

"Unlike yourself, I was… plucked… chosen to survive with a goal to achieve. Can you say the same… Maggot?"

Zouken flinched deeply at that, the golden stare of the teenager fixed on him made him feel… uncomfortable to say the least.

Nothing made him feel like that for as long as he remembers.

Shirou felt the magical energy surrounding them, Zouken was just stalling him to set up.

"I guess you are not here to sit and have a cup of tea with an old man. Very well."

Zouken extended his arm and a dozen bladed insects rushed forward from the walls and rose from the ground. All directed towards Shirou.
This boy must not live, this boy is dangerous.

Saber wasted no time, she was already behind the old hunk of worms, all she had to do was thrust her sword and pump it with mana. And she did.

The old man burned alive, shrieked and shrinked until he was no more than a pile of ash.

All the while, Shirou waved his flaming sword at the bugs, incinerating them by the sheer heat that was emitted.

Shirou by the pile of ash in front of him, this old man was still alive after being killed.

"... As expected of someone who survived for more than five hundred years… He still clings to life..."

"Five hundred… -Shirou. Are you saying that this… Thing... Is actually representative of I'm the Makiri that helped create the system of the Grail?"

"Huh? Oh, did I say that? I don't know, it's just…"

"Shirou, this gut feeling of yours is rather suspicious, even my instinct skill cannot tell me info about someone, let alone a carefully concealed fact."

"Hah, I… guess so… L-let's worry about that later, let's find Rider and her Master."

And with that, Shirou ended the conversation on a bitter note for Saber… Could her Master have another ability she does not know of…?

They proceeded further into the mansion, Shirou used the burning sword as a light source as he entered the sitting room.

"Shirou, I detect a servant signature, although faint... She's in the basement."

"I see, Saber, you will have to hold back greatly against her if you two fight. Do not kill her no matter what."

Shirou ordered, then he looked around the room for a way to reach the basement.

He walked towards the wall then placed his hand on it.

"Analysis start…"

Green vein-like strips appeared from his arm and extended through the walls, the floor and the ceiling, as Shirou himself closed his eyes.

After that, he stood up and walked towards an old painting, raising an arm to move it.

"DON'T!"

Saber all but shouted as she slapped away his hand with her black, gauntleted arm.

"Ouch! What was that for?!"

Saber took her sword and stabbed the painting. Black flames errupted around the frame, as something let out a dying shreik behind.

Then she moved what remained of the frame away to reveal a husk of a trapped bladed insect the size of an arm.

"U-uh… That was… Thanks, Saber."

"You welcome, Shirou. But don't be grateful… Improve."

The tyrant king commanded after flicking the hidden lever that was underneath the remains of the insect.

"Noted."

Shirou replied before delving further into the hidden dark room that was just revealed upon Saber's action. One of the bookshelves sank into the ground, revealing a staircase leading to a dark path.

Slowly walking down the stairs, Shirou knew something was off, the air felt different.

Saber snorted at the display.

Shirou looked away upon witnessing the sight.

Sakura Matou was naked and in a pit of worms.

Her eyes were closed, was she unconscious? That was beyond him to say.

"Saber, grab Sakura and wait for me outside of the mansion."

"What about Rider?"

"Rider! I know you can hear me! Come out! We mean no harm!"

Shirou shouted, his voice echoed in the basement.

Shortly after, a golden glow emitted from a corner followed by the appearance of Rider.

She seemed to still be wounded as her stance is not as firm as before.

"State your business here Master of Saber, you're intruding on my Master's privacy."

Spoke Rider, who damn well knew she wouldn't be able to do a thing should they attempt to harm Sakura.

"We were here to propose an alliance… But it seems that your True 'Master' is in no state to discuss such matters. Whatever happened to Shinji?"

Shirou asked, still averting his gaze from Sakura.

"He was saved and brought to the mansion, the old… Thing… Took him to forgo his treatment."

"Hmph, healing is beyond the old worm, not even an experienced healer would be able to save a human after being hit with my noble phantasm. Shirou."

Saber remarked, to which Rider raised an eyebrow.

"Master of Saber, could your full name be Emiya Shirou?"

Rider asked, remembering the command Sakura gave her upon her summoning.

Shirou suddenly looked at Rider directly and nodded in confirmation.

"I see. What a joke, my Master ordered me with a command spell to not under any circumstances harm you. I hope she did not make a serious… Miscalculation."

Saber leaped into the pit, crushing the worms surrounding her, then she pulled the unconscious Sakura out.

"Rider, we are proposing an alliance with you and your Master, we will take her to my home and you're welcome to join us."

Shirou spoke, still averting his gaze from the naked Sakura.

"I'm afraid I don't have the ability to decline. I will be joining you."

Shirou smiled, then gestured at Saber to leave.

"What would you have me do?"

Rider asked.

"Follow Saber. I will be with you shortly."

Rider obeyed as she let herself fade into spirit form.

"Now then…"

Shirou turned towards the pit of worms.

"Trace On...!"

A library's worth of information flowed into his mind.

He saw the Glorious and cheerful emperor, standing atop the proud singing theater, the red petals that flew around guided by the cheers of the spectators.

"Behold my greatest talents, and hear the thunderous applause!"

Shirou chanted as he plunged the newly formed flaming sword into the ground, his eyes glowed fiery gold as he spoke.

"Praise me, and praise my crimson theater!"

The scenery erupted in flames, the mansion wavered under the weight of the unique aria of the special thaumaturgy.

"The theater that sings out the aurora, the eternal applause that echoed in the glory of Rome!"

Shirou firmly grasped the sword embedded into the ground, his magic circuits flashed yellow all over his body and his eyes shined gold.

The sword was rejecting him, his circuit glowed red as warning that his body was not meant to recreate the miracles of servants.

But he didn't stop, how could he?

"Open! Let the grace of Olympia engulf you!"

And the scenery completely switched, instead of the dark pit of worms, he was standing right in the crimson theater, that is called...

"Laus Saint Claudius!"

And the flames devoured everything.

The hunk of worms squirmed over Shinji's unmoving body, the old man called Zouken watched from afar as the worms tore off the burnt skin and flesh from the body and ate it.

"How unfortunate, never did I expect you to attack Emiya in his home the moment he summoned Saber. I would say that it was bad luck, but I never had expectations from you regardless."

The old worm magus took a moment to let out a chuckle that sounded like glorified coughing, before he continued

"Alas, you shall be more useful alive, but the process will not be painless…"

The worms moved to uncover the face of the teenager, only to reveal a terrified eye that clearly indicated just how painful it was to get your flesh torn off your bones. Only half a face remained, the other half has been picked clean of flesh… leaving behind a bare skull and an empty eyesocket.

"W-what!?"

Zouken felt a great disturbance throughout his familiars. He felt their numbers diminish one by one, his existence faded from his mansion. His workshop.

His face contorted in dread as he realized that all his books, his research, and the countless mystic codes that were his worms were no more. He extended his consciousness to a blade wing that monitored the area from the skies, only to get the full picture of what happened.

The flames erupted throughout the mansion, leaving no corner untouched, the library, the second floor, the basement… Everything became ash.

"How dare you. How dare you! Howdareyouhowdareyouhowdareyou! Emiya!"

Zouken screamed in loathing, giving Emiya Sakura was one part of his plan, but the destruction of his base was not. All the research and experimenting he did for the past five hundred years was reduced to ash in front of his very eyes. And for once in a long century, Zouken was furious.

Author's Note:

Yes, I am back.

Now let's stay on track.

Another chapter done, I'm hoping you like it.

Reviews!:

Manuel Simino: I'm glad you like it! To me, Saber Alter is one of the hardest characters to write, mostly because I have to fill in the blanks of her personality. I'm glad that I'm able to do so without going ooc.

And that's it for now! Please follow or fav, and don't forget to leave your reviews down in the review box. Thank you.
