Jason Southworth presents, the dangerous sophomore year. Based off the Total drama cartoon by Tom McGillis and Jennifer Pertsch. And the tugs television series by David Mitton.
We start off with Dwayne Junior narrating.
The school system, the way it is set up, is useful for helping young kids achieve their goals. And, the students of Bronzestone high, look out for one another, and are willing to help others in danger. This is the dangerous Sophomore year.
The tugs theme then plays.
Junior's POV
The summer of 2011 had it's highs and lows. The highest of the highs, was now officially having Harold as an uncle. I also got really close with Grandpa Norbert. Everyone who currently lived in that house, accepted each other as family, even though we weren't all blood related. However, towards the end of the summer, things started to get bad. In several farms on the outskirts of Mount Sword, there have been cases of horses getting murdered. Nobody knew what was causing this to happen, an investigation by the police didn't reveal anything. On a little bit of a brighter note, Bronzestone high was getting a new janitor.
Reader's POV
On the outskirts of Bronzestone, there was a pickup truck painted like the Mexican flag. It had just broken down off the side of the road. The driver of the truck was a Mexican, by the name of Ozzy Gomez. Ozzy then flagged down the first tow truck he saw. "Hey seƱor, can you lend a compadre a hand?" asked Ozzy. "The engines completely dead, and I need a tow." The tow truck driver looked in the back of Ozzy's truck, and shook his head. "Sir, I cannot accept bananas as payment" he said. "That's not payment, these are going to a grocery store in Mount Sword" said Ozzy. "Mount Sword?" asked the truck driver. "How do I know you're not a South American horse killer?" "Listen amigo, I don't have time to get into a racist debate with a stranger" said Ozzy. "I just need a fast way into town, without having to pay a fortune." "You either pay the full price, or i'm leaving you stranded" said the tow truck driver.
Junior's POV
And that's how it was, Ozzy was simply left there, and was denied a tow. Ozzy was a complete cheapskate, and a lot of the times when he wanted something, he would try to sweet talk his way into a fair price. He was eventually able to get into the town, as me and Terrence happened to be playing tag in the area.
Reader's POV
"I have got you Junior, now you are it" said Terrence. "Oh my Goodness, I didn't think there were famous actors in the area" said Ozzy. Junior and Terrence then noticed that Ozzy had spotted them. "There's no denying it, you're the actor who played Dwayne Junior on the Ridongculous race" said Ozzy. "Poppycock, you sir, are an uncultured swine" said Terrence. "This is the real Dwayne Junior." "Wait a minute, are you telling me that the events of that show were real?" asked Ozzy. "Oh my, I thought the whole competition was staged with actors, for the purpose of telling a story." "Oh dear Lord, what has this high Rastafarian been smoking?" groaned Terrence.
Junior's POV
Thanks to my knowledge on auto mechanics, I was able to fix his engine, and he was able to get his bananas into town. The start of tenth grade was just a week away, and I would soon find out that Ozzy wasn't the only new staff member for Bronzestone high. But that is a story, for another day.
Authors note: After over three months it's finally here, the sequel to The difficult freshman year. This one is going to be more intense than the previous story. There are going to be more dangerous moments, some of them possibly even life threatening.
Ozzy Gomez is based off of the Tugs character Izzy Gomez. Izzy Gomez is one of the biggest reasons, why Tugs only lasted one season. If it aired nowadays, certain people would complain about the character being a racist Mexican stereotype. I mean, the people who made Salty's lighthouse certainly thought he was. I personally think the racist Mexican stereotype claim, might be pushing it a bit too far. I would also like to clarify that I have nothing against South American's, or Rastafarian's.
Thank you for reading and please have a great day.
