We start off with Dwayne Junior narrating.

The school system, the way it is set up, is useful for helping young kids achieve their goals. And, the students of Bronzestone high, look out for one another, and are willing to help others in danger. This is the dangerous sophomore year.

The tugs theme then plays.

Junior's POV

Just like the freshman year, there was also an exam to get into the sophomore year. Only this time, it was more difficult. There questions were harder, and I had to do a lot more studying. I had to do a bunch of research on things that i've never even heard of. At one point, I had to pull through an all nighter to get my studying done. The day of the entrance exam finally came, and once it was over I was so burnt out, that I fell asleep once the bell rang. Before I actually left home on the first day, dad pulled me off to the side, and he was very stern with me.

Reader's POV

"Listen son, what you did at the end of last term, was quite possibly the most irresponsible thing you have ever done" said Dwayne. "Do you know terrified I was about the possibility that my only son could die?" "With all of these horse killings that have been going around, I wouldn't be surprised if it started going after humans next." "So we don't have a repeat of last year, I want you to pay attention." "If anybody is giving you trouble, even if they threaten to hurt me, you are to tell me, immediately." "I refuse to see you get seriously hurt."

Junior's POV

I had to promise my dad that I would do exactly as instructed. Being a sophomore now, I was of course an entire level above the new freshman students. It was quite a shock for them, when they found out that a former ridongculous race contestant was actually a student. Oh course, there were several people who wanted to get my autograph. While most of the male students were friendly, there were some angry females that gave me a hard time.

We were only one day into the term, and already, several freshman girls wanted to take me to the dance. They were pissed off beyond belief, when they found out that Bertha was my girlfriend. In their words, they didn't know what I saw in a flat chested whore. Bertha then proceeded to yell at them, and claim she loved me for being a good and caring person, and that it wasn't a stupid crush on a celebrity. I then told them, that there was no way in hell they were getting my autograph. To nobody's surprise, I once again had the best score on the auto mechanics exam. Just like last time, Bertha was the only female in the class. But this time, there was a new teacher.

Reader's POV

The teacher that walked in, had blonde hair, and was wearing a bright red dress. "Hello class, I am your new auto mechanics teacher, Ms O'Halloran" she said. She then looked at Junior. "Oh crap, nobody told me I would have you as a student." "While you're off traveling the word with your overprotective father, I'm stuck in a body cast, and now i've been demoted to a high school teacher." "I'll come out and say it, you are very lucky that i'm required to treat all of the students exactly the same, or else i'd be fired by Principal Star." "Because if I had it my way, you'd be serving detention every Friday."

Junior's POV

Yeah, I bet you didn't see that coming. Once Blaineley got out of her body cast, she got fired by celebrity manhunt, and was now stuck as a high school auto mechanics teacher. She had no choice but to be fair to me, or else risk getting fired, but one thing was abundantly clear, she didn't like me.

Wanting to keep my place on the team, I of course signed up for baseball tryouts again, along with Hudson. Although Hudson never threatened me, although he wasn't bossing me around, he did tell me that I wasn't going to be putting the team at risk again. My and Hudson were good friends, but he was really envious about how I was much better at baseball than him. Bertha told me to simply ignore him, and invited me to come with her to her grandmother's ninetieth birthday on Saturday. One thing that I wasn't aware of, was that Blaineley was going to get involved in a plot, that would put me and Bertha in serious danger. But that is a story for another day.

Authors note: I bet you guys did not see the Blaineley appearance coming. Trust me, she is going to play a major role in this story.

Something that's going to get a lot of focus in this story, is Junior and Bertha's relationship. Over the course of the story, the two of them are going to grow to appreciate each other more and more, and there will be several scenes where it's only just the two of them in the room, with nobody else around.

Thank you for reading and please have a great day.
