We start off with Dwayne Junior narrating.

The school system, the way it is set up, is useful for helping young kids achieve their goals. And, the students of Bronzestone high, look out for one another, and are willing to help others in danger. This is the dangerous sophomore year.

The tugs theme then plays.

Junior's POV

Even with all the happiness I had from that baseball victory, I was still refusing to acknowledge that my dad was a part of my family. As I was sitting in my room doing my homework one day, my Grandma Alice came in to talk to me.

Reader's POV

"Junior, I haven't actually been 100% honest with you you're whole life" said Grandma Alice. "I wasn't being honest, when I told you that your Grandpa Mack died in a helicopter crash a few years back." "Well, what actually happened to him?" asked Junior. "It's really disturbing, he was murdered by the feral freak that has been terrorizing this town" said Grandma Alice. Junior could not believe what he was hearing, he had no idea that Ezekiel was the cause of his grandfathers death, the cause of one of the saddest moments of his life. "The reason why I kept this a secret, Is because your dad was wasn't taking this very well" said Grandma Alice. "Grandpa Mack was your father's father, and his loss destroyed him emotionally." "He didn't just lose a father, I lost a husband." "Long before you were even born, your dad was actually close friends with Ezekiel's dad, as they went to school together." "The relationship was so close, that before Ezekiel was even born, your dad was made his godfather." "He loved Ezekiel like a second child, and he never anticipated he would turn feral, and betray him by emotionally destroying him." "The point that i'm making, is that if you're put in the same position you're father was in, It would be horrible for him to leave on bad terms."

Junior's POV

The news that I just heard, made me absolutely full of rage. In that moment right there, I hated everything about Ezekiel. I decided that If he came anywhere near me, I was going to kill him, and avenge Grandpa Mack's death. What I didn't realize right then and there, was that something really bad was going to happen that night.

Reader's POV

Bertha was fast asleep in bed, having dreams about dancing with Junior under the moonlight. She was woken up, when she felt something prick her finger. She looked to see that it was a rat, and she began panicking. Bertha had a severe rat allergy. Her skin then felt as if it was burning, as it was going red. Her heart began beating way faster than it should. Her stomach felt as though it had literally just been lit on fire. She ended up rolling out of bed, and she began vomiting a large amount of blood. All of this noise woke up her seven baby siblings, who were now all crying. Her parents quickly came into the room, And saw Bertha lying on the ground next to a massive pile of blood, with tears rolling down her face. "Rat...bit...me" she wheezed. Her father Douglas immediately dialed 911, while Bertha's mother sat down next to her daughter, for emotional support "J-Junior...get...me...Dwayne...Junior" she wheezed. "Want...to...say...good...bye."

Douglas was riding with Bertha to the hospital in the ambulance, while his wife was staying behind to look after the infants. Douglas immediately dialed Junior's phone number, and put it on speaker, as there was no way Bertha could hold the phone by herself.

Over in the Santori household, Harold, Izzy, and Junior were woken up by Junior's phone ringing. "Oh my gosh, this late at night?" yawned Junior. He then answered it. "J-Junior...not...much...time...i'm...dying" wheezed Bertha. "Um Bertha, what do you mean you're dying?" asked Junior. "Allergic...reaction...ambulance...hospital...won't...make it" wheezed Bertha. "Oh God, please tell me you're joking" said a panicked Junior. "No...joke...saying...bye" wheezed Bertha. She then gave a weak smile. "I...love...you...Dwayne...Marcus...Santori...the...second." The call was then disconnected. Junior was absolutely horrified by what he was hearing. He quickly ran into his parents bedroom, and was furiously jumping on the bad. "WAKE THE FUCK UP!" he screamed. Dwayne and Annie woke up, angry with their son's current behavior. Everyone in the house heard the commotion, and came into the room. "Junior, what the hell is wrong with you?" asked Grandpa Norbert. "Why are you acting like a neanderthal?" "More importantly, who is is calling you at 2:17 in the morning?" asked Harold. "IT'S BERTHA, SHE'S ON HER DEATHBED!" snapped Junior angrily. Everyone then realized why Junior was going berserk. "Oh God, this is serious, I didn't expect this" said Dwayne. "I need to get to the hospital ASAP, and I refuse to take no for an answer" said Junior. "I don't care that i'm not old enough, if nobody is going to take me, i'm stealing the car and getting there myself."

Junior's POV

Realizing how serious this was, they didn't question my demands, and we immediately got in the car. Izzy had to hurriedly wrap her body in a blanket, as she didn't have time to put on clothes. When we arrived at the hospital, we saw that Wilson was making somewhat of a scene at the front desk. He was pointing out to the lady at the front desk that the visiting hours rule should not apply to him, as he was her cousin. It was a good thing Douglas came by, to diffuse the situation, and explain that Wilson was part of the family.

Reader's POV

"Okay, so many things are happening at once right now" said the lady at the front desk. "First i've got some kid claiming to be the patients cousin, and then 4 reality show contestants come out of nowhere." "How many more of you weirdo's are there?" "Okay, I don't want any trouble, but I just really need to know the status of Bertha Richards" said Junior. "Listen, even if your visiting hours are over, if she's still alive, I want to be there for her final moments." "Well, being the legal guardian of Bertha, could I simply just say that they are with us?" asked Douglas. "Alright fine, but not more than four visitors in the room at onece" said the lady at the desk.

Douglas, Harold, Wilson, and Junior were standing in the room, incredibly nervous about what they saw. Bertha was lying in the hospital bed, her skin a really bloody shade of red, wearing an oxygen mask, and hooked up to life support. "It's really bad, she's having a severe allergic reaction after being bit by a rat" said the doctor. "This reaction is making her skin burn, as if it was on fire." "She's also suffering from severe blood loss, so a major transfusion was needed." "The worst part is actually her heart, it was beating way too fast at first, until it eventually just stopped altogether." "The only chance of survival that she has, is a heart transplant, but she's stuck waiting in line like everyone else who needs one." All Junior could do was look and Bertha and cry, this was one of the saddest moments of his entire life.

A few minuted later, Junior ran up to his dad, and hugged him completely out of nowhere. "Daddy listen, i'm sorry, I didn't mean any of the things I said in our fight, not one word" said Junior. "I'm sorry too son, from now on i'm going to treat you with the utmost respect, there won't be any more of treating you like a child" said Dwayne. "I love you dad" sobbed Junior. "I love you too son, always have, always will" said Dwayne.

Junior's POV

With all of the information I just found out about Ezekiel, and my girlfriend being on her deathbed, I was having a pretty crappy time. It took someone with a massive heart to help me pick myself back up again, but that is a story for another day.

Authors note: I will say it again for the umpteenth time, I am not a doctor, I have never spent a single day in medical school, so certain facts I write might be inaccurate.

As you can see, Dwayne Senior and Dwayne Junior have made up. They probably would have liked to do so under different circumstances, but at least they aren't on bad terms anymore.

Thank you for reading and please have a great day.
