We start off with Dwayne Junior narrating.

The school system, the way it is set up, is useful for helping young kids achieve their goals. And, the students of Bronzestone high, look out for one another, and are willing to help others in danger. This is the dangerous sophomore year.

The tugs theme then plays.

Junior's POV

The end of term was coming closer, which meant the end of term dance was coming up. At this point the previous year, I was actually going to the dance with Bertha as my date. Around the same time I found out that Miles had a crush on me, but she didn't want to ruin me and Bertha's relationship. Me and Miles danced briefly, and Bertha oddly gave her permission to kiss me. To this day, I don't think it was bad in the slightest, but I do acknowledge that it was weird.

Now, with Bertha currently on her deathbed at this time, you're all probably thinking that like last year I would dance with Miles, as we had already done it the previous year, and she did have eyes on me. Well there is actually one major problem with that. My home town in Mount Sword, is just one mile north of Montreal. Miles on the other hand, lives on the other side of the country in Vancouver. The previous year, it was a pain in the neck for Miles to travel that whole distance, and doing it two years in a row was incredibly difficult. Instead of me finding a girl for the dance, a girl would find me instead.

Reader's POV

Junior was about to ride the school bus to take him home, when a girl slightly older than him sat down beside him. "I'm Alyssa Jones, school prefect" said the girl. "I'm Dwa-" began Junior. "Oh come on, like nobody at the school knows who you are" said Alyssa. "And by the way, i'm sorry about what happened with Bertha, that must have been hard." "Yeah, but nothing can be done" said Junior. "So, do you want to go to the dance as just friends?" asked Alyssa. "Oh okay, I don't see the harm in that" said Junior. "The day after, do you want to come over to my place for the barefoot party i'm holding?" asked Alyssa. "Let me guess, a party where all of the guests don't wear shoes or socks" said Junior.

Junior's POV

That is exactly what she was referring to, and she told me I could bring one guest if I wanted. You can probably guess what made the front page of the school paper, when it was revealed that the most popular student was going to the dance with one of the prefects. She was actually a fast dancer, and I had a hard time keeping up with her. Then came the day afterwards, when I was going to this barefoot party. I decided to take Uncle Harold, and as he was driving me to the address of the party, we had an interesting conversation.

Reader's POV

"I never got to go to parties when I was in high school" said Harold. "I was the least popular kid in school, and on the rare occasion where I was invited, I was in the hospital."

When they got to Alyssa's house, it was Alyssa's dad who was opening the door, and he freaked out. "HOLY SHIT, IT'S A TRANSVESTITE!" he shouted. He then slammed the door on them. "Okay, what the heck just happened?" asked Harold. Alyssa then opened the door. "Sorry about that, my father is frightened of men in women's clothing" she said. "But we're not in drag" said Junior. "It's Harold, he's referring to the thong he wore on Total drama" said Alyssa. "I didn't have much of a choice, that was a hand me down from my older sister" said Harold. Junior and Harold then took off their shoes and socks, then walked inside.

The main group of people that were at the party, were Alyssa's classmates from twelfth grade culinary. There was an eleventh grader that lived right next door however, and he had an interesting opinion on the barefoot party. "There are a lot of unique people in this part of the neighborhood, they all have these strange groups that they are apart of." "Take my dad for example, he plays golf with a ping pong ball."

"Have you heard that Bill Gates is running for prime minister?" asked a Canadian party guest with a British accent. "Oh good heavens, our kingdom is no longer secure" said Another. "Um, are you guys drunk?" asked Harold. "Oh heavens no, it's just grass" said the party guest.

As they all sat down to have a burger king dinner, Alyssa's grandmother had something to say about the meal. "It's sexist how they have a burger king, and not a burger queen." "McDonalds needs to bring back the McPizza" said Alyssa's grandfather.

Junior's POV

"That eleventh grader, who goes by the name of Peter, is absolutely right. That section of the neighborhood was full of strange people. When we got home from the party, I questioned what Alyssa cooks when she's in culinary class, and how nobody is dead. Alyssa would actually end up holding a duck race. Not the kind you would see with rubber ducks, this was a race where actual ducks were racing against each other. But that is a story for another day.

Author's note: "Unlike most of my OC's, Alyssa is not really based on anything, she's probably one of the most original characters i've created.

The scene with the grass, is for comedic purposes only. I am not encouraging you to smoke weed in real life.

Thank you for reading and please have a great day.
