We start off with Dwayne Junior narrating.
The school system, the way it is set up, is useful for helping young kids achieve their goals. And, the students of Bronzestone high, look out for one another, and are willing to help others in danger. This is the dangerous sophomore year.
The tugs them then plays.
Junior's POV
Knowing full well that I got suspended from school under false pretenses, you can imagine how pissed off I was. What really got under my skin, was that if Bertha wanted to remain a student at Bronzestone, she was required to meet with a psychiatrist about her underage drinking problem. Of course, she did not take this very well, and during her meeting with the psychiatrist, she refused to take any responsibility for what happened. Now, the legal drinking age in Canada is 19, and Bertha was three years below that. The chief of the Mount Sword police department, had to sit down with her for over 5 hours, and made things abundantly clear with her. If she was ever caught with alcohol under the age of 19 again, she would be arrested, and would be required to pay a fine.
Reader's POV
Junior had just finished his homework, and was now playing NR2003. The track he was racing at was Bristol, and with how angry he was about the injustice that just took place, he was taking his frustration out on the racers, controlled by the computer. He must have caused at least 25 cautions, before his dad came into the room. "Junior, this is the third day row you've taken your frustration out on a video game" said Dwayne. "Yeah, and i'm still angry, because this game won't let me take out the pace car" said Junior. "You know what, I think I how to cure this frustration, we just need to have a father son fishing trip" said Dwayne.
Junior's POV
It turns out, me and my dad weren't the only ones going fishing. Do you remember the stepbrothers from the Ridongculous race? Yep, they were going to be fishing with us too. At least we thought that was going to happen. When we arrived at the pond, we saw that there were two rowboats instead of one.
Reader's POV
Uh guys, the idea is to be fishing in the same boat, not separately" said Dwayne. "We're not fishing you moron" said Chet. "We're actually going to be having a race" said Lorenzo. "Oh heck no, I did not sign up for this" said Dwayne. "Dad, there is no reason to be concerned, this pond is only a quarter mile long, and we are in a rowboat, the slowest boat that there is" said Junior. "What makes me hesitant, is the racing I saw out of you recently" said Dwayne. "Alright then, let's make a deal, if we race, I won't sell your Montreal Royals shirt on eBay" said Junior.
Junior's POV
I can't believe he actually fell for that one, he didn't realize that I was bluffing. We got in the boats, and when the race started, we were slamming into each other as if we were driving at Martinsville. Me and dad ended up beating the stepbrothers, and then we sat down at a picnic table, and watched a compilation on Youtube of soccer players, kicking the ball into the wrong goal. I was no longer in a bad mood, and because of this, I now had confidence that the rest of the school year was going to be good. What I didn't realize, was that something would happen in just a few weeks, that would put me in a bad mood again. But that is a story for another day.
Authors note: The record for most cautions in a NASCAR cup series race, is 22. It happened during the 2005 Coca cola 600. If this record is ever going to be broken, It's more than likely going to be, well, the Coca cola 600. The longer the race, the more opportunities there are for crashes.
If you plan on having a race in a rowboat, and treat it like a stock car race, please remember to wear a life jacket.
Thank you for reading and please have a great day.
