Cloud who was on his search for Sephiroth, finally made it to Sokovia. He feels Sephiroth's scent there so he rode his motorcycle on a boat he rented. He decided to take a break. He picked an apple from a tree in the forest...
"Good to see you, Cloud." A voice not too far from him spoke. Cloud froze. He knows that voice. He turns around and sees his arch-nemesis Sephiroth pointing his long sword at him.
"Sephiroth..." Cloud snarled. "I finally have you right where I want you." He picks out his buster blade and points at Sephiroth.
"Well, Cloud. Now that we finally meet. Tell me something. Why do you wanna keep this promise?" Cloud looked at him in confusion. What is he up to?
"Why do you care?"
"I don't. But I thought it could be a final request before you fall into darkness. Cloud tightens his sword before giving a sigh.
"Because if I don't keep my promise of never falling to darkness then I would let my friends down. Including Zack Fair. When he disappeared at Olympus, I promised him two things... that I would take care of Aerith and never fall to the dark." He raised his head and points his sword. "And once I destroy you, I will go back to fulfill my promise to both Zack and Aerith. Sephiroth gave him a mocking chuckle.
"Such idiocy. When will you learn that darkness is the only way to destroy me?" Cloud glared and rushed over to attack him. He and Cloud clashed through weapons repeatedly. Then for a split second, Cloud lost sight of Sephiroth and was searching for him. He doesn't realize that Sephiroth flew behind him until he saw a reflection of him from the water giving Cloud to block him.
"Come on, Cloud. Give in. It's the only way to destroy me." Sephiroth taunted. Cloud clenched his teeth and pushes Sephiroth off.
"Never!" He growled.
"I thought of a wonderful present for you then." Sephiroth said as he then slashes a large piece of falling wood in half with his sword and knocks Cloud attempted to jump on him but Sephiroth got the best of him and hits his chest, causing him to drop his sword. He felt a sharp pain causing him to hold his shoulder.
"Tell me what you cherish most." Sephiroth asked. Cloud closed his eyes thinking about his most cherished people. Zack, Aerith, Leon, Yuffie, Cid, Merlin, Sora... And Tifa. He feels the strengths of their hearts. And with the light of their hearts causes Cloud to regain his strength. Sephiroth was to do the final blow but Cloud reflected his sword before he could hit.
"I pity you. You just don't get it at all." Cloud told him. Sephiroth just smirked and rushed to try and attack Cloud who then blocked his attack causing him to hover into the air. Cloud then leans lips into air and concludes. "There's not a thing I don't cherish." He then pulls his sword back and flings it forward, just as Sephiroth is about to attack again. But then suddenly, all blades from Cloud's sword come out and surrounded Sephiroth, all glowing a gold light. Cloud cross-slashes him then performed his Omislash. Cloud then jumps from one blade to another, hitting him countless time, only to reappear and came rushing down and Cloud gives the finishing blow. He looks up at Sephiroth one final time with a cold glare.
"Stay where you belong... in my memories." He said as the One wing angel got blurry and even darker than before.
"I will never be a memory." Sephiroth said before fading into darkness. Cloud looked up and sighed with relief. His old enemy is dead at last. He then hears people screaming not too far from here. He has a feeling that even thought his fight with Sephiroth is over, he still has a war with darkness to finish.
After Cloud finished his story, Cap put his arm on Cloud's shoulder.
"Good work, Solider."
"Thanks, Cap." Cloud replied. "Now, what are you doing now?"
"We're trying to evacuate these people before Ultron flattens us." Sora said. Cloud nodded.
"I'll help as many people as I can." He said as he runs off to the city. Meanwhile, Ultron clones are coming towards the helicarrier. Maria Hill is watching from her monitors. She widens her eyes to see Ultron sentries come towards them.
"Sir, we have multiple bogies converging on our starboard flank." Hill said.
"Show them what we got." Fury said, smirking.
"You're up."
As the drones close in on the helicarrier, two drones are unexpectedly annihilated by plasmablasts. One robot gazes upward and sees Rhodey shutting in it head-on. Rhodey annihilates the robot prior to soaring off to connect more.
"Yes! Now this will be a decent story." Rhodey said.
Rhodey fires at more drones as one attempts to impact him. Tony then, at that point, flies in line.
"That's right. On the off chance that you live to tell about." Tony remarked.
"You figure I can't hold my own?" Rhodey asked.
"We get through this, I'll hold your own." Tony said. Rhodey just shook his head.
"You've had to make it weird."
"Would it be better if I said it?" Kairi asked making Rhodey chuckle. Meanwhile, Cap, Sora, and Cloud are helping people get into the heli-life boat.
"I got 50 to 100 more coming in after this group." Cap told a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. Meanwhile, Hill, Betty and the others were monitoring the Avengers
"Number six boat is topped and locked... Or stocked... Topped... It's full of people." Klein said. Hill nodded before she heard a loud alarm sound. She looks down to see Ultron Sentries flying towards them.
"INCOMING!" Betty shouted. The Sentry smashed towards the window, The drone was slowly Crawling towards the agents. Fire shot at them but the bullets were ineffective so Fury grabbed a piece of glass and stabbed it on it's eye, destroying it.
Thor and Ultron are still fighting against each other one on one. Ultron had the advantage of choking Thor.
"You think you're saving anyone? I turn that key and drop this rock a little early and it's still billions dead. Even you can't stop that." Ultron said.
"I am Thor, son of Odin, and as long as there is life in my breast... I am running out of things to say! Are you ready?" Thor said. Just out of nowhere, Ultron let go because Vision hits him diagonally with the hammer as it knocks Ultron out of the Church. He returns the Hammer to Thor.
"It's terribly well-balanced." Vision said.
"Well, if there's too much weight, you lose power on the swing, so..." Thor said as he showed him. Tony and Kairi are flying around the bots. Kairi examines the situation then she has an idea.
"Tony..." She said to her father figure. "We can create a heat seal. We could supercharge the splre from below." Tony widen his eyes then turns to his A.I.
"F.R.I.D.A.Y., is it possible?"
"Yes, but you need lightning." She answered.
"And a heat seal could work with enough power." F.R.I.D.A.Y. replied.
"Thor, I got a plan." Tony said.
"We're out of time. They're coming for the core." Thor replied.
"Rhodey, get the rest of the people on board that carrier." Tony tells.
"On it." Rhodey said.
"Avengers, time to work for a living." Tony and Kairi fly back down then The Avengers regrouped at the church while repealing a few Heartless and Sentries. All of them were cut and bruised and bleeding blood. Some of their clothes were ripped like Sora's shirt is cut in half and Elsa's dress is cut to knee length. However, they still plan to fight Ultron to the death. Pietro turned to his sister.
"Are you good?"
"Yeah." Wanda replied.
"Romanoff... you and Rodgers better not plan the wedding." Quipped Tony.
"Relax, shell head. Not all of us can fly." Natasha said as she drove a truck to the Church while running over Heartless and sentries. "Besides Steve and I have it panned, June 20th."
"What's the drill?"
"This is the drill, Nat." Kairi said. "if Ultron gets a hand on this core, we lose." Hulk, meanwhile smashes a sentry then throws one at a Heartless. Ultron finally shows up. Thor raised his hammer.
"Is that the best you can do?"
Ultron raised a single robotic eyebrow. He raised his hand, signaling hundreds, if not thousands of legionnaires to assemble behind him.
"You had to ask." Cloud sighed, giving Thor a snarky look.
"This...is the best I can do," Ultron replied, "This is exactly what I wanted! All of you against all of me. How can you possibly hope to stop me?" Tony looks at Steve and gives him an actual smile.
"Like the old man said... together."
"Because our hearts are connected." Sora said. Kairi took her husband's hand and nodded in agreement. Elsa smiled at the sight then glared at the evil robot.
"Sora's right, Ultron. You may have intelligence but you don't have emotional intelligence. Because as long as people help each other and work together..."
"Our hearts will become stronger." Kairi finished. "And our hearts are stronger than yours."
Hulk had enough talk and smashed a sentry to pieces. The heroes picked apart each sentry and Heartless one by one. The heroes worked together and took care of the drones and Heartless that tried to get near the Machine. Cap smashes them with his shield, Sora sliced them with his Keyblade. Elsa freezes them with her ice magic. Black Widow using her batons. Hawkeye shot them with his bow and arrows. Vision using the mind stone to strike them down. Scarlet witch uses her telekinesis to kill a drone. Quicksilver knocks them down with his speed. Thor shot lightning with his thunder and Iron Man and Kairi uses their repulsor blasts with Kairi using her Keylbade arm and shot lightning at Ultron. He was slowly walking away...
"You know, with the benefit of hindsight..." Suddenly Hulk knocks him far away and the robots start to retreat by Ultron's command.
"They'll try to leave the city." Thor informs as everyone watches and destroys robots who try to leave.
"We can't let 'em, not even one." Stark gets on a comm, "Rhodey?"
"I'm on it." Rhodey said then he chased after the drones.
"Oh, no, I didn't say you could leave. War Machine, comin' at you, right ..." Just then Vision flies in and helps to destroy the robots. "Okay, what?"
"We gotta move out. Even I can tell the air is getting thin. You guys get to the boats, I'll sweep for stragglers, be right behind you." Cap says and looks at everyone.
"What about the core?" Cloud asked as he sliced a Heartless without looking.
"I will protect it." Wanda said. She then turns to Clint. "It is my job."
"Nat. This way." Clint motioned before he, Natasha and Cap leaves.
Pietro, meanwhile was still destroying more drones.
"Get the people on the boats." Wanda ordered her brother.
"I am not going to leave you here." Pietro said.
"I can handle this." Wanda said before destroying a drone with her bolts. "Come back for me when everyone else is off. Not before."He begins to walk out. You understand?" Wanda asked.
"You know, I am 12 minutes older than you." Pietro pointed out. Wanda gives out a laugh.
"Go." She said as he was on his out. Meanwhile Tony and Kairi were positioning themselves under the rising rock and city. Kairi was reading the levels.
"Uh, Boss. Power levels are way below..." She said before Tony cuts her off.
"Reroute everything, Kairi. We got one shot at this." Kairi nodded. Meanwhile, Clint and Natasha were driving through a town in an audi while the rest were evacuating the town.
"You know, since I have no father figure, I want you to walk me down the aisle." She said.
"Yeah, I would be honored. So should I knock out the east wall so I could make a workspace for Laura?" He asked. "Put up some baffling. She can't hear the kids running around. What do you think?"
"You guys always eat in the kitchen anyway. Natasha said.
"We don't have a lot of time." Clint quipped. Natasha jumps off and helps missing children reunite with their parents. She takes them to the boat after Cloud and Clint enter the boat and bring civilians in.
"You're safe, now. You're gonna be okay. Buckle up." Cap said to a civilian. Cloud was helping him. Elsa was putting children in the boat until she heard a woman screaming.
"Costel! We're in the market. Costel." The woman cried, looking for her son. Elsa then spots the little boy, she gets off the boat and runs off to rescue him. Meanwhile, Kairi was helping Tony to cut metals with their lasers. Tony then calls with his comlink.
"Thor, Sora. I am going to need you to go back to the Church." Tony said.
"Is that the last of them?" Thor asks Cap.
"Yeah, everyone else is on the carrier." Cap said.
"You, know this works... maybe we don't walk away." Tony said.
"Maybe not." Thor said. Meanwhile, Natasha sees Hulk. Now that their fight is done. She prepares to call Betty but unfortunately, Ultron shot bullets at them from the quinjet.
"I got no strings, so I have fun. I'm not tied up to anyone." Ultron sang while he was controlling the quinjet.
Meanwhile, Elsa had just rescued the boy that was separated from her mother.
"Come on. I'll take you to your mother." Elsa said.
Ultron fires from the quinjet and aims towards Elsa and the boy. Luckily, Clint caught up and jumped to Elsa's side. Clint realized Ultron had his sights set on him, Elsa and the boy but before Ultron could shoot them. Pietro speeds past them, preventing his allies and the boy from getting shot. Clint widens his eyes while Elsa shuts the boy's eyes.
"You didn't see that coming?" He asked before falling to his death. Wanda felt it and kneels down, releasing red energy that destroyed multiple Ultron sentries. Sora and Thor flies. Elsa carried the boy while Cap and Clip carried the deceased Pietro. Hulk then carried Natasha to the Helicarrier dropping her off before heading towards to the Quinjet where Ultron is.
"Oh, For God's sake!" Ultron cried out as Hulk throws him off towards the train.
Cap sets Pietro's body down while Elsa returns the little boy to her mother.
"No, no. I'm fine. I'm fine." Clint said before laying down. "It's been a long day." Wanda leaves her post to confront Ultron. She looks at him in anger.
"Wanda... if you stay here... you'll die." She kneels next to him.
"I just did." She then grabs his core out of his body and smashes it. "It felt like that." Ultron takes over a damaged sentry and starts the machine. Sora manages to get to a boat on time as the Solvkia is about to collapse. Kairi used her uni-beam to counteract the energy so that she can lessen the damage. She powers her Keyblade's magic Tony readies his position.
"Thor, Sora, on my mark!" Tony called out as Thor summoned a bolt of lightning while Sora Summons a beam of light like Kairi. It was the same power that he used to take down Xemnas with Riku. The Explosion threw Tony off and debris starts to fall down on him but he evades more debris as they impact a large lake. Kairi defended herself with a light-based barrier. Thor falls to the water and Sora almost joins him but luckily his wife rescued him before he can land in the water. Sora opened his eyes and smiled. Kairi released her helmet and gave her husband a quick kiss. Sora's eyes shined and eyebrows lowered
"Am I in heaven? Cause I was saved by an angel." Kairi rolled her eyes and pecked his cheek. Meanwhile in the Quinjet, Hulk was riding the quinjet. He was putting it at an empty spot for it not to kill people. He then sees a screen of Betty.
"Bruce... you did it. You proved to the people that you're not a monster. Now you can turn this ship around and..." But before she can finish, Hulk turns off the screen then he sits down to fly to an unknown location. Betty just stands there sadly. Back at the ground, Ultron's final sentry was limping on the ground he spots Vision floating down and landing on the ground. Vision stares for a moment.
"You're afraid." Vision said.
"Of you?" Ultron questioned.
"Of death... and Kingdom Hearts." Vision answered. Ultron looked up in the sky and sigh.
"Kingdom Hearts must need a ruler to balance out the light and the darkness." Vision shook his head.
"Kingdom Hearts doesn't need a king or queen to balance the light and darkness. As they use it for the benefit of mankind, it will be fine."
"They're doomed." Ultron said.
"Yes." Vision agreed. "But a thing isn't beautiful because it lasts. It's a privilege to be among them." Ultron gives the droid a cold glare.
"You're unbearably naive." He snarled. Vision chuckled.
"Well... I was born yesterday." The Ultron drone was about to attack Vision but Vision used the Mind stone's energy beam, destroying him for good. The battle was over for now.
Oh boy... that was rough. Sorry, this took so long but I Was busy with my other one. After this is Civil War. It's a good time to write it too because of the new Spider-Man movie. The epilogue is coming soon. Maybe before New years and If I see No way home, I may give you my thoughts. Until then, enjoy this chapter.
