There is a time jump here a few months, sorry if it's rocky, I had issues getting it to where I wanted it to go.

Chapter 14

"how about this one?" Callie asked, she and Teddy were out trying to pick out a Christmas tree.

"um" Teddy said looking at the tree, moving around some branches "not full enough"

"do we really need a real tree?" Callie laughed, this was the third place they'd been too that day, Teddy not finding anything she liked.

"yes" Teddy said looking at her as if she had two heads "how can you have Christmas without a real tree" Callie laughed and shrugged, she loved Christmas "I guess I've never had one so"

"what" Teddy stopped and looked at her, mouth agape "how can you say you love Christmas when you've never experienced a live tree"

"is it really alive?" Callie asks looking at the tree she was standing next to

"yes" Teddy said as she went on to agree the point of having a real tree versus a fake one, leaving Callie to shake her head. As luck would have it for Callie, Teddy didn't find anything, she deemed worthy. "want to get some coffee?" Callie asked, it was the weekend after Thanksgiving and although the cold hadn't set in yet, there was a bite to the air, and the slight breeze that was blowing making it worse.

"yes" Teddy smiled, as they made their way to Callie's truck, although Callie could see the disappointment on Teddy's face about not finding a tree "it's still early"

"it is" Teddy said letting out a sigh "I know you think I'm crazy, but I just" she stopped "it's our first Christmas all together in the house, and I want it to be perfect"

"Teddy, it will be, we'll all be together" Callie smiled noting the time, it wasn't even noon yet "why don't we head out of town, I'm sure they'll have something in the next town we come to"

"ok, but coffee first" Teddy said rubbing her hands together to warm them up, as Callie started the truck and turned the heater on full.

"mom" Arizona called through the house as she and Addie entered

"in here" Barbara called back from the kitchen, she turned from the sink with a towel in her hand as Arizona and Addie entered the room "what a surprise to see you" she said pulling Arizona into a hug, then going to Addie for the same affection. Arizona had to bite her lip to not laugh, Addie should have been used to this greeting by now, but the look on her face was always the same. "I was just telling Callie yesterday; I haven't seen you in a while"

"yeah work has been crazy" Arizona said

"and you" Barbara said looking at Addie "you get more beautiful, every time I see you" Arizona watched as Addie's face turned the color of her hair "if I were into girls, my daughter would have some competition"

"mom" Arizona laughed "stop hitting on her"

"I'm just saying" Barbara laughed, winking at Addie "what do I owe this pleasure?"

"Teddy sent us for the Christmas stuff" Arizona shrugged as she jumped up on the counter to sit, reaching for an apple, she wiped it on her shirt and took a big bite.

"it's in the basement, you want it all?"

"I guess" Arizona shrugged, as she chomped away

"well give me a minute to finish these dishes and I'll help you" Barbara said turning her attention back to the sink. Arizona often wondered why they had a dishwasher her mother always did the dishes by hand instead of using it. Addie's phone pinged indicating she had a new message, shaking her head she giggled "I guess they didn't find anything, so they are headed to the next town over"

"I figured as much, they'll be lucky if they find a tree today" Arizona said finishing her apple and hopping down off the counter to throw the remains away.

"Teddy has always loved Christmas, Zo do you remember that year she threw that fit when I started decorating the tree before you two came home from school"

"yes" Arizona laughed, a smile on her face as she listened to her mom tell the story to Addie. "so that's what I'm in for" Addie laughed

"sorry hun" Barbara giggled, turning the water off and reaching for a towel to dry her hands "alright, let's go" she turned and headed towards the stairs that would lead to the basement. Arizona hadn't been down there in years. Finding the Christmas stuff stacked in a corner "take the three red ones there"

"she said to get it all" Arizona sighed

"she's not getting all of our Christmas decorations" Barbara protested

"I'll let you take that up with her" Arizona said reaching for a tote and handing it to Addie, as she grabbed another one. "holy shit what's in here?"

"I think that one has the 3-foot Santa" Barbara said as she reached for the third

"3-foot Santa?" Addie asked not sure if she wanted to know the answer.

"oh you'll love it" Arizona laughed "it's not creepy at all"

"Teddy won it at a school function" Barbara went on

"oh I can't wait" Addie rolled her eyes, causing both Arizona and Barbara to laugh.

"will you help me carry the rest of it up? I'm sure your father will want to get started on decorating the house"

"sure thing mom" Arizona smiled as she climbed the stairs with the tote, Addie following her.

"so your dad likes Christmas too?" Addie asked, hearing both women laugh "where do you think Teddy got it from" Barbara said "oh while I have you both here, your dresses came in, we need to figure out a time to get them fitted"

"I'm free whenever" Addie smiled, the wedding was getting closer, they had all the plans set, now all they had to do was wait for the day.

"ok I'll set something up, maybe next Saturday?" Barbara asked looking at her daughter who nodded. Addie's phone pinged again, she pulled it out "why is shebitch texting me?" she asked looking at Arizona confused

"what'd she say?" Arizona asked trying to look over Addie's shoulder "and because you are my assistant and I want nothing to do with her"

"shebitch?" Barbara asked, Arizona let out a frustrated sigh "Erica Hahn" just saying her name left a nasty taste in her mouth

"who is she?"

"she's Callie's ex" Addie said

"just tell her to fuck off" Arizona said shaking her head

"or how about I don't reply" Addie said locking her phone and putting it back in her pocket.

"what did she want?" Barbara asked

"apparently there's an artist she wanted Arizona to take" Addie shrugged

"April can have it" Arizona said "I've got enough on my plate right now, with them wanting me to do Rock Fest in May"

"I'm actually excited for that" Addie smiled

"you're excited for camping?" Arizona asked looking at Addie who nodded and smiled "I am"

"hmm" Arizona smiled "wouldn't peg you for a camping kind of girl?"

"honey, you're more girly than I am" Addie winked "should I take this to the car?"

"yeah wherever there is room, I'll be right behind you" Arizona said, as she watched Addie pick up the tote again.

"so this Erica, is she" Barbara asked once Addie was gone

"she was Callie's first" Arizona let out a sigh "she started at the record company a few months back, and has been making my life a living hell since"

"does she want Callie back?"

"she tells Callie she doesn't, but the things she says to me makes me think otherwise"

"she's probably just trying to get a rise out of you, you know how you are" Barbara said as she bent over to pick up the tote

"maybe, but if you heard the things she's said to me" Arizona sighed as she picked up her tote and followed her mother to the car "maybe you need to avoid her"

"I've tried, ergo the texting Addie" Arizona said as she set the tote in the back seat, the trunk was now full with the other two totes.

"she's a piece of work" Addie said knowing they were still talking about Erica. "I think because Zo has what she wants she's going to stop at nothing to get it"

"that's what I'm afraid of" Arizona sighed leaning against the car

"how's Callie with all this?" Barbara asked

"she believes me, she's told her to leave us alone but of course that just makes it worse" Arizona rolled her eyes, Barbara nods "well just be careful" Barbara warned.

"I am" Arizona smiled, as they headed back into the house.

"did you girls want some lunch?" Barbara asked

"um" Arizona looked at Addie who smiled and nodded "sure, we'll head down and get the rest of the Christmas stuff up while you're making it" Arizona said passing Addie on her way to the stairs.

Pulling up outside the house, Callie back the truck up onto the lawn, careful not to leave any tire marks in the grass. It hadn't been cold enough yet for the ground to freeze so it was a little soft. Putting the truck in park, she jumped out, along with Teddy, who started unstrapping the tree. As they both lifted it, making their way up to the porch. "shit, you got the key?"

"no I thought you did" Teddy said causing Callie to roll her eyes "I do but they are still in the truck" she sighed setting the tree down as she went back to the truck. Deciding that since it was now empty, she'd move it to the driveway. Once she was back on the porch with the keys, she unlocked the door "took you long enough" Teddy groaned

"shut it" Callie said opening the door then took her position opposite Teddy as they carried the tree into the house. Before they left Teddy had made sure the stand was set up, in the spot where she wanted the tree, so all they had to do was put it in. Once Teddy had everything tightened, she stepped back admiring it "it's a nice tree"

"I told you we'd find one" Callie said, Teddy waved her off "hope Zo and Addie hurry up, I want to decorate it"

"I have my stuff here if you want to go through it" Callie said brushing her hands off on her jeans.

"well go get it then" Teddy said, Callie nodded and headed towards the basement steps, smiling when the smell of Arizona's perfume engulfed her nose. The basement had been finished a few weeks back, and they had finally got to move downstairs. She went into the storage area they had, it also housed the washer and dryer, along with the hot water heater and furnace. Finding her totes stacked up in the corner, she found the one she knew to be her Christmas tote, smiling when she pulled it out, the writing on it was starting to wear off, but you could still see where a young Callie tried to write Christmas decorations, but spelled the words wrong. Shaking her head when she heard Teddy call for her to hurry, she grabbed the tote and made her way up the stairs. "ok got it" she said setting it down.

"holy shit" Teddy said looking at the tote, it was a bigger one, that normally took two people to move it. Callie smiled as she popped the lid off, the first thing she found was the last thing she purchased last Christmas. Teddy pulled it out, smiling it was a clear bulb, with a picture of Callie and Arizona inside, on the picture that was taken outside in the snow, it read "our first Christmas" Teddy read it out loud. It was their second Christmas together, but the picture was taken last year, on Christmas eve, when the Robbins family went on their annual sledding at midnight on Christmas eve. Arizona and Teddy had a name for it, but Callie couldn't remember. "I took that at SCE" that's what it was Callie smiled "you did" she reached for the bulb. Looking at the picture, her dad was even there for it, and had a blast. This year she had no idea if her dad would be around for it or not, shaking her head she made a mental note to call him tomorrow, she missed him. The sound of Teddy laughing broke her out of her thoughts "wow you have one of these?"

"yeah" Callie rolled her eyes she looked up seeing what Teddy was holding as they laughed together "I have one too" Teddy smiled "oh good lights" she pulled out a box of what looked like brand-new multicolored lights. "are they new?"

"no, we've actually had them for years, I'm just"

"anal when it comes to putting stuff away?"

"my Christmas stuff yes" Callie smiled, seeing her stocking in the tote she pulled it out, and laid it on the coffee table, under her stocking was one for Arizona. "you have one for Zo in here?" Teddy asked reaching for it, Callie nodded "she had one at my house and I had one at yours"

"I remember" Teddy smiled "now we'll have to decide which ones to use" she said laying Arizona's on top of Callie's

"or we could get 4 matching ones?" Callie said Teddy looked up at her and smiled "you're a genius, come on" Teddy said grabbing Callie's arm.

"where are we going?" Callie said reaching for her jacket patting it making sure she had put the keys in the pocket.

"to get new stockings" Teddy said she was almost running to the cars causing Callie to shake her head and mumble "this family is going to be the death of me" by the time she made it to Teddy's car she was already inside and had it started.

Xxxxxxxxxxx

Arizona pulled her car to a stop in her spot "well they were home"

"wonder where they went" Addie said as they shared a laugh knowing how Teddy was when it came to Christmas. "Teds probably dragged her to the store for more decorations, come on let's get this stuff inside, it's getting chilly" Arizona said popping the trunk open and reaching for a tote. Turning the doorknob, she found it odd the door was left unlocked, shaking her head, she moved through the house setting the tote down in the living room. Addie came in behind her "wow, you think they got a big enough tree?"

"go big or go home" Arizona laughed "I'll be back I'm gonna grab the last tote" she didn't wait for a reply before she headed back out. She was shutting the trunk when Teddy's car pulled in, and an irritated Callie got out. "hi baby" Arizona smiled

"hi" Callie groaned walking up to Arizona placing a kiss on her lips

"thank god you're home, grumpy mcgrumpy pants there is throwing off my game"

"I wouldn't be grumpy if you'd just pick something instead of having to look at every damn ornament there was"

"ah" Arizona laughed "come on" she nodded for the house, bending down to pick up the tote.

"what, they have new ones" Teddy said as she retrieved the bags from the back seat "Zo I found some awesome stockings, and got some glitter paint for us to write our names with" Teddy was talking a mile a minute as the three made their way into the house. Addie hearing this started to laugh, she and Arizona were used to how Teddy was, but this was Callie's first year dealing with it. Teddy set the bags she was carrying on the coffee table and started digging through them. She pulled out 4 stocking, each a different color. As they set to work decorating the tree, Teddy tore off the lid to one of the totes "oh my god" she gasped as she pulled out the 3-foot tall Santa "I know exactly where he's going" she ran to the front door and disappeared. "oh thank god a moment of silence" Callie muttered causing Arizona and Addie to both laugh "what? I've been dealing with that" she pointed at the door "all day"

"she's just excited baby, she loves Christmas" Arizona placed a kiss on Callie's cheek "come on, why don't we get a drink"

"I need something harder than wine" Callie groaned as she followed Arizona to the kitchen.

Xxxxxxxxxxx

A week later, everything was decorated, Teddy had even talked Daniel into coming over and putting lights up outside the house. She had also went out and got a couple huge yard blow up decoration things, and made sure every night once it was dark, that they were all working properly. "oh my god, it's lit up like a runway" Callie groaned as she and Arizona pulled into the driveway after doing some shopping.

"it's like day in the dead of night" Arizona laughed, seeing Callie roll her eyes "hey she's happy, and that's all that matters, so what if our electric bill is going to be out the roof"

"you make an ass ton of money" Callie laughed

"exactly, and as long as my sister is happy" Arizona smiled leaning over placing a kiss on Callie's cheek "what about me? What if I'm not happy?"

"are you happy" Arizona pulled back looking into Callie's eyes, the dim lights of the cars dash not making it possible to see much, but she saw Callie smile and nod. "I am"

"good" she placed another kiss on her lips "come on, I'm starving" walking into the house Callie couldn't help but let her foul mood fall away, the sound of Christmas music and the smell of cinnamon filled the air. Teddy was sitting on the floor in the living room wrapping some presents, a fire was lit, and she was singing softly to jingle bells. Callie felt nothing but warmth in her heart. Yeah Teddy was annoying her, but that was who she was, and she loved her. Teddy looked up hearing the couple come in "hey" she smiled

"hi" Arizona said making her way into the kitchen to find Addie already starting on dinner "your mom and dad will be here to pick us up by 6" Addie mentioned as Arizona set the bags on the counter and she and Callie started putting the stuff away. Arizona was about to ask for what, but she remembered they were all driving to Rochester for Irene's Christmas party. "why are we leaving so early?" Callie asked she was hoping to sleep in on her day off. "because dad wants to beat the traffic" Arizona said using air quotes

"good thing they got the SUV with the 3rd row, otherwise we'd have to take 2 vehicles" Addie said

"I'm not sitting in the way back, it's too cramped back there" Teddy called out from the living room.

"guess we're sitting in the back" Arizona looked at Callie

"it's ok" Callie leaned in, means we can make out" Callie kissed her cheek

"dinner will be ready shortly, I hope you don't mind I chose something quick" Addie said looking at the stove, Arizona saw the makings of spaghetti, Addie's idea of something quick. She laughed as Callie opened the fridge pulling out the salad mix Arizona had just put away.

Xxxxxx

The weeks before Christmas seemed to fly by, it was now just over a week away. Callie was out with the work crew, shooting new winter promo photos, for the commercials that would air. "guess this is just temporary for you" Daniel winked at Callie

"why?" Callie asked confused

"we'll have to change your name after June right?" he said

"change my name? Why would I change my name?"

"oh, are you not taking our last name" Daniel asked, Callie could see the disappointment in his eyes "well" Callie said "we haven't talked about it" realization hit her, they should have that talk soon.

"hmm" Daniel smiled "do you want to see what we've got?" he asked, Callie nodded and stepped in front of the computer as he pressed play. The beginning had the other meteorologist, who were actual meteorologists, playing in what little snow there was, throwing it at each other, and laughing. Callie smiled "and here's the new show opening" Daniel said clicking a few buttons, turning the volume up on the computer "Kftv news at noon with Barbara Robbins" Barbara came on the screen with her arms crossed smiling "and weather with Callie Torres" Callie appeared on the screen, arms crossed and a smirk on her face. "what do you think? Obviously the morning one will say the morning news" he laughed

"I love it" she smiled

"good cuz it starts on Monday" Daniel winked, and shut the laptop, as they were done for the day. It was starting to get dark, and Callie knew Arizona would be home before she was today.

Xxxx

Christmas eve, was finally here, Arizona and Addie were off, until after the New Year, and Teddy was off until whenever she went back in, but of course, Callie's day started at usual time. Arizona had decided she was going to drive Callie to and from work today. So instead of Callie's alarm waking her up at 4 AM she was woken up from a kiss from Arizona. "hmm why are you up so early?"

"I'm taking you to work" Arizona smiled

"why" Callie laughed

"because I can" Arizona kissed her again, and climbed off the bed "get up, and I'll make breakfast"

"you really don't have to" Callie said although loving the thought of it. She climbed out of bed and headed to the adjoining bathroom, everything was new and bright, she squinted as she flicked on the light. She made quick work of her shower, she didn't bother with doing her hair or makeup they always did it before the show anyway. Letting out a moan as the smell of coffee engulfed her nose, she smiled seeing the blonde flipping some pancakes while singing. Callie stopped in the doorway and watched, as Arizona used the spatula as a mic. "oh shit" Arizona said when she realized one of the pancakes had burnt, and stuck to the pan. "why can't I get this right, it's just pancakes"

"it's ok" Callie said softly coming up behind her taking the spatula out of Arizona's hands and flipping the other two pancakes on the griddle.

"no it's not ok, I wanted to make you breakfast" Arizona pouted, Callie smiled and kissed her cheek "just grab the plates" Callie whispered, Arizona let out a snort and moved to find the plates. Callie expertly cooked what was left of the batter and set the finished product on the breakfast bar. Arizona had poured her a cup of coffee, her travel mug, was sitting next to the coffee pot ready to be filled. Callie let out a moan when she took her first bite "you may not know how to cook them, but the batter is amazing"

"I used mom's recipe" Arizona shrugged as she loaded her plate with pancakes and syrup.

"so what are you going to do while I'm at work?" Callie asked

"um, I'm not entirely sure" Arizona smiled "I just wanted to spend as much time with you as possible"

"you're so sweet" Callie kissed her cheek, noting the time Arizona said "come on, I'll clean this up later" she got off the stool, taking her plate to the sink, as she turned to reach for Callie's, she was surprised to see Callie standing up and reaching out for her. "I love you, you know that?"

"I think I do" Arizona smiled as their lips met.

Xxxxxxx

Callie gave Arizona one more kiss and got out of the car, she saw her wave to Barbara, then drive off. "why is she up so early?"

"I have no idea" Callie smiled, as her eyes followed Arizona's taillights until they were gone.

"well" Barbara smiled and nodded towards the door. It was a slow news day, even the weather had nothing going on, as Callie said as much on the air "I guess with the lack of snow we won't be doing our annual Christmas eve sledding this year" Barbara said her tone sad.

"it's looking that way" Callie shrugged "with the temps like this, maybe a fire in the back yard, instead" Callie could see an idea pop into her future mother in laws eyes, as she smiled wide. And went on about the next story, as they went to commercial "Daniel" she called out, Daniel popped out from behind the cameras "what if we have a cookout tonight instead of our normal Christmas eve dinner" Daniel smiled and nodded, knowing what he had to do. Callie smiled, as the show came back on.

Xxxxx

Arizona sang as she cleaned up her breakfast mess. Tossing the dishes into the dishwasher and making sure there was a fresh pot of coffee ready for Teddy and Addie, whenever they would wake up. She heard her phone ping, pulling it out of her pocket she was confused seeing a text from her dad "hey kiddo, change of plan tonight, mom wants a cookout since we can't go sledding, will you run to the store and get the stuff?" ~D

She smiled reading the message, typed a quick reply, pulling out a pen and paper to write a list of stuff she'd need to get. She had some shopping she wanted to do, which is why she was up so early to begin with. Her mind on the items, she was startled when Teddy came into the kitchen. "morning"

"oh hi" Arizona said shaking her head

"why are you up so early"

"I took Callie to work"

"why?"

"I don't know" Arizona shrugged "but I guess mom and dad want to have a cookout since there's no snow to go sledding"

"oh" Teddy said pouring a cup of coffee and taking a seat on the stool next to Arizona "that's disappointing"

"I know" Arizona said "so now I have to go shopping" she said looking up at Teddy, who smiled "I'll go with"

Xxxxxxxx

Callie let out a sigh as she read the name of the sender of the email she had just gotten a notification for. Erica Hahn, shaking her head she rolled her eyes clicking on it. She's kept the communication with Erica to a minimum, being pleasant when she ran into her while visiting Arizona at work. Erica never showed her anything but respect and kindness, but after everything that Arizona has told her, she wanted to keep her distance. Deciding to leave it for now, they subject just said Merry Christmas anyway, she got up in search of more coffee. Hearing Barbara laugh as she walked into the breakroom, she looked up seeing both Daniel and Barbara sitting at a table, coffee cups in front of them talking and laughing. "Callie dear, come sit" Callie poured herself some coffee and sat at the empty seat at the table. Joining in the conversation that was taking place, it wasn't long before it was time to go back on air and do the noon news. Christmas eve was like any other day around the newsroom, although with a little more spirit in the air. Most of the regular crew they had during the week had taken the day off. Both Callie and Barbara decided they'd work, giving the weekend people the day to spend with their families. Once the show was over, Callie headed over to her desk making sure everything was shut down, and put away, the way she liked it. Grabbing what she'll need the next few days, she reached for her leather jacket, sliding it on. Loving the feeling of wearing it, it was old, and the fit perfect after all the years. She met up with Barbara and Daniel, and the three of them made their way to the exit. "you think she'll be out there waiting?" Barbara asked in a laugh, knowing how her daughter could be.

"I got a message saying she was" Callie smiled thinking about the blonde. Barbara didn't reply, but Callie knew what she was thinking. When they walked through the doors, and into the bright December sunshine, Callie couldn't help but smile. Arizona was indeed outside waiting for her, but what Callie didn't expect was Arizona was wearing a Santa suit, and had a sleigh with two horses pulling it. "oh dear" Barbara laughed seeing her daughter.

"hi mom" Arizona smiled although with the fake beard it was hard to see

"Zo what" Daniel started to say but shook his head and laughed

"this, what?" Callie started to say but couldn't get the words to form

"merry Christmas baby" Arizona said climbing out of the sleigh and walking over to Callie pulling her in, Callie went in for a kiss, but couldn't find Arizona's lips through the beard. Reaching up she tugged the beard down and smiled as her lips met Arizona's. "I love you, you goof"

"I love you too" Arizona said, her hands snuck lower cupping Callie's ass, hearing Daniel clear his throat, the two pulled back, lacing their hands together "was this your sister's idea?" Barbara asked as she was looking over the sleigh

"no this was all me" Arizona smiled the Santa beard still around her chin. "I just thought since it wasn't that cold and" she shrugged

"I love it" Callie smiled

"Teddy and Addie are on call if you don't want to ride home in this"

"we don't need them" Callie smiled as she climbed up into the sleigh, it wobbled a little, turns out it was just an old wagon, that Arizona or someone had converted into something that resembled a sleigh. "alright" Arizona smiled "mom, dad, we'll see you at 6"

"if not before" Barbara said, as Daniel took her hand and they walked to the car together, Arizona and Callie both watched them. "please tell me we're going to be like that" Callie whispered

"like what?" Arizona ask making herself comfortable, grabbing the reigns

"like your parents, they've been together forever, and are still happily in love"

"well you are my Daniel" Arizona smiled, leaning over kissing Callie

"corny" Callie laughed "now take me home" she moved back over to her spot, placing her hand on Arizona's leg as they started moving.

Xxxxxxxxxxxx

It took them double the time it normally takes Callie to get home from work. But she didn't care. Her heart was full, sometimes she still found it hard to believe Arizona was hers. Then the blonde would do something sweet like this and it took all Callie had in her to not cry tears of happiness. "hey you alright?"

"yeah I'm good" Callie leaned her head on Arizona's shoulder, the sound of the horses hooves being the only sound that was heard, as they turned down their street. Once the house came into view Callie saw Teddy and Addie standing in the yard waiting for them. Parked across the street there was a truck with a horse trailer. Arizona pulled the horses to a stop in front of their house, then turned to look at Callie "thanks for the ride"

"anything for you" Arizona smiled, they shared a kiss

"god, get a room" Teddy said, as she approached with Addie and a man Callie assumed to be the owner of the horses. Callie reached for her bag, as Arizona stepped out, reaching for her hand to help her down. Arizona then went to the guy, and was talking, so Callie went into the house, followed by Teddy and Addie "that was the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me"

"my sister loves you" Teddy said plopping down on the couch

"I never have any doubts about that" Callie said as she made herself comfortable on the chair. Addie came in with a hot cup of coffee "here, I thought you'd need something warm" she said handing the cup to Callie

"thank you" Callie took the cup and took a small sip as to not burn her mouth "your mom and dad will be here around 6" she said looking at Teddy, who smiled and nodded.

Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The next morning, Arizona and Callie were woken up to Teddy jumping on the bed "wake up it's Christmas"

"go away" Arizona groaned

"nope, it's Christmas, mom's on her way, you have to get up"

"ugh" Arizona groaned trying to pull the blanket over her head, but with Teddy on them it wasn't working, so she grabbed her pillow instead, putting it over her eyes and holding it down with her arms. "nope" Teddy said pulling the pillow off Arizona's face "you need to get up, we have presents to open"

"Teds" Callie said

"fine, but if you aren't up stairs before mom gets here I'm sending her down, so you might want to at least put some clothes on, unless you want mom to see your lady bits" Teddy said climbing off the bed and leaving the room. Arizona let out a deep sigh reaching out for Callie "mm, good morning"

"good morning" Callie said kissing her "merry Christmas"

"merry Christmas" Arizona smiled, she was actually excited for the day, and the thought of her mom's special Christmas breakfast. "come on, we should get up"

"you just through a fit about wanting to sleep more" Callie laughed

"I know, but" Arizona smiled, as she climbed out of bed, neither one of them were naked, by the time they went to bed it was late and they were both too tired for any fun, but tonight would be different. "mom's Christmas breakfast" she said before disappearing into the bathroom.

Xxxxxxxx

By the time they got upstairs Barbara was already in the kitchen, Teddy and Addie were sitting at the table, both with steaming cups of coffee in their hands, and Daniel was reading the paper. "Merry Christmas" Arizona said as she walked up to Barbara giving her a kiss on her cheek "merry Christmas honey" Barbara smiled. Arizona reached for her and Callie's favorite coffee mugs, filling them both she brought them to the table, and sat down. "oh Callie honey, I forgot to ask" Barbara said her attention on the breakfast she was preparing "will your dad be joining us today?"

"no" Callie shook her head, blowing on the hot coffee she was about to take a sip of "he's in" she stops then lets out a laugh "I'm not even sure where he is"

"alright" Barbara smiled "breakfast will be ready soon girls, then we'll get started on dinner"

"what about presents?" Teddy asked

"after breakfast" Arizona said "you know the drill"

"but she just said"

"Teddy we've done it the same way every year since we can remember" Arizona shook her head, rolling her eyes. Causing Callie and Addie to laugh, sometimes Arizona and Teddy reminded them of a couple of kids. It didn't take Barbara long at all to make breakfast, they all sat down enjoying the French toast, eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns. Callie wasn't sure what Barbara did to her French toast but it was amazing. Stuffed, she sat back in her chair looking around at the people who just a few years ago were strangers to her, but now the most important people in her life. She wished her dad could be here, Callie knew that he loved her, but since her mother passed away, he'd make sure to be out of town on the major holidays. In the years before Callie met Arizona, she'd usually fly out to where he was and at least spend the day with him, but now, now life was different. She was lost in her thoughts, when she finally realized everyone had left the table. Arizona and Addie were at the sink washing the breakfast dishes. Callie noticed her plate had been taken away, she smiled, Arizona was always doing the little things for her. Pushing back her chair she stood up "need any more help in here"

"nope, go sit with Teddy in the living room we'll be there when this is done" Callie just nodded kissed Arizona's cheek then went to the living room where Teddy was sitting on the floor by the tree sorting out presents. "Zo" she said setting the gift she was holding in a pile, Callie watched as she reached for another "me" she smiled and set it into a different pile "oh me again" she laughed. Callie kept quiet and sat down on the couch, and continued watching Teddy. When all the gifts were in piles of 6, she turned around and jumped seeing Callie "how long you been there?"

"since 'oh me again'" Callie laughed

"oh" Teddy laughed

"I got kicked out of the kitchen"

"I'm never allowed in there, so after breakfast I got into the habit to do this" Teddy smiled "and don't worry mom will want your help with dinner" she stood and went to sit beside Callie. "how are you" she asked

"I'm" Callie looked into Teddy's eyes "I'm missing my dad"

"when will he be back?" Teddy asked, Callie shrugged her shoulders, looking down at the floor. "well you're part of our family now"

"he'll be here for the wedding" Callie said, more to herself then to Teddy but Teddy nodded. "less than 6 months" Teddy smiled

"seems like forever"

"it'll fly by" Teddy winked "at least I hope" they sat in silence for a few moments "have you guys talked about what last name you're taking?"

"no" Callie shook her head "I think everyone is assuming I'm taking Robbins"

"what do you feel is right?"

"I'm not sure" Callie sat back thinking "it makes more sense for Arizona to not change hers, with her career"

"so change yours" Teddy smiled

"maybe I will" Callie smiled "and you guys?"

"Robbins" Teddy smiled "Addie wants to be rid of the Montgomery name"

"why?" Callie asked confused

"well, you've heard the story of why they aren't involved in her life right?" Callie shook her head, Teddy nodded "well long story short, when she came out they disowned her, she was 15, she ended up living on the streets"

"ah ok" Callie nodded understanding now

"they're actually super rich" Teddy said

"huh?" Callie looked at her confusion on her face

"Addie's parents, they have an ass ton of money, but when they disowned her she got nothing"

"selfish bastards" Addie said coming in "sorry I never told you, I hate talking about it" she plopped down on the couch next to Teddy. "no worries" Callie smiled.

"I know how you could stuff it to them" Teddy said getting an evil grin on her face

"how?" Addie looked at her

"call up a major paper or magazine, Arizona is hugely popular, so they'd be stupid to let an interview of someone close to her go" Teddy said "and make sure they put in there who you are and who your parents are" Teddy smiled

"that's genius" Addie laughed, kissing Teddy.

"or better yet" Callie said thinking "a television interview with the 4 of us"

"that's even better, I'm sure dad could set it up, you guys are affiliated with ABC correct?" Callie nodded "perfect" Teddy laughed. Everyone else filed into the living room, Arizona handed Callie a cup of coffee, and sat down next to her. "alright looks like Teddy's been hard at work" Barbara laughed

"you know it" Teddy winked

"well go at it then" Daniel said, Teddy jumped up grabbing the pile for Barbara handing it to her, since there wasn't much, doing the same with Daniel, and so on until everyone had their pile of gifts. Teddy of course wasted no time in digging in, Callie sat there looking at the small pile at her feet "it's ok" Arizona nudged her "I promise I didn't get you anything embarrassing, or well I did but I'll give it to you later" she winked causing Callie to shake her head.

The rest of the day was spent in laughter, Barbara had thought it a good idea to buy all four girls matching footie pajamas. Saying she should have let them open them last night. Arizona couldn't take her eyes off Callie. She had gotten Callie a gold heart necklace, that matched her skin tone perfectly. To Arizona's surprised, Callie had gotten her the same necklace, but in silver. Along with some other odd things she saw over the course of time that Callie just loved. Teddy had put on some Christmas music, as Barbara and Callie went into the kitchen to start on dinner. Arizona wasn't allowed in the kitchen, so she sat in the living room with Daniel, Addie and Teddy. She realized Teddy and Callie must have done most their shopping together when Addie opened a necklace, not much different than the one she was now wearing. She couldn't be happier, when she was with Mark, he was never around for Christmas day, saying he had to spend the day with his family, although they were engaged, he never even invited Arizona to join them. That should have been a sign right there. Arizona let out a sigh, then smiled, good thing she wasn't with him anymore. Looking around the room, her dad was laughing at something Teddy had said, she wasn't paying attention to much until she heard "hey dad" Teddy said

"yes"

"remember when I told you guys about Addie's parents?"

"how they kicked her out when she came out and let her live on the streets?" he asked

"I had an idea" Teddy said looking at Arizona "but I need both of your help"

"oh god" Arizona shook her head

"no wait hear me out" Teddy said "I was talking to Callie earlier and it came to me. I know how to stick it to them"

"Teddy it's ok" Addie said she had heard this part of the conversation

"come on it'd work" Teddy smiled

"what's your idea" Daniel asked

"well, since she is hugely popular, I was thinking maybe we could get an interview with like good morning America or the view, or some talk show, we could all go on there, and we make sure that the world knows what her parents did"

"I don't know Teddy that seems a little over the top" Addie said shaking her head

"over the top?" Teddy looks at her "how did it feel when you were sleeping on a park bench?" Addie didn't answer "or when you were hungry and had no food" still no answer, Addie just kept her attention focused on the floor. "exactly, now is the time to stick it to them, any news network would be dumb to not take on the story"

"she's got a point" Arizona said it wasn't often she agreed with Teddy and her ideas but it was her opinion that Addie's parents know exactly what they gave up.

"I'll see what I can do" Daniel said "that's if you're ok with it"

"well" Addie said finally looking up from the floor "I'd kind of like to stick it to them, I mean they kicked me out when I was just a kid, and now I have this amazing family, better than they ever were"

"alright I'll look into it" he smiled

"you can get them hooked with a story on the wedding, and because it's a double wedding and I'm her sister" Teddy smiled

"I got it" he smiled again

"if it doesn't work, I'm sure I'll have a few interviews with Rock Fest coming" Arizona said "and you're my assistant so" she smiled. The sound of the doorbell had Teddy jumping off the couch and running to the door, and a few moments later Arizona heard "merry Christmas" in that southern voice she would know anywhere. "I brought these" April said setting the pile she was carrying on the coffee table, Jackie was behind her holding another pile "Apes you didn't have to bring anything" Arizona smiled

"I know but I couldn't show up empty handed" she smiled "hello Mr. Robbins"

"hello April, and please it's Daniel" he smiled

"hey who was at the door" Barbara asked coming out of the kitchen with a towel drying her hands "oh April, merry Christmas"

"merry Christmas, Mrs. Robbins"

"oh please it's Barbara" she said pulling April in for a hug "you've been part of this family for how long" they laughed "I'm sorry dear, I don't remember your name" she said looking at Jackie who smiled "not a problem it's Jackie" Jackie laughed

"well Jackie, welcome"

"I like how she thinks it's her house" Arizona says to Teddy loud enough for everyone to hear

"well you're mine, so anything that's yours is mine" Barbara said tossing her towel at Arizona, Teddy laughed "you're mine also" she said causing Arizona to laugh. April and Jackie took a seat "dinner will be ready around 3, Callie just checked the turkey, and it looks amazing" she said then disappeared back into the kitchen. Teddy was eyeing the pile of gifts on the table, causing April to laugh "so is there"

"go for it" April laughed as she reached for Jackie's hand.

It was just before 3 when Callie came out of the kitchen "I'm going to go change" she said making her way to the stairs. Arizona stood and quickly followed her, once they reached the basement Arizona grabbed Callie pulling her into the room and shutting the door, pushing her back up against it. "I feel like I haven't seen you all day"

"your mom has kept me busy"

"hmm" Arizona hummed, as their lips met "we don't have much time, but I wanted to give you the last part of your gift" Callie smiled, as Arizona gave her one more kiss them pulled back, going into their walk-in closet, coming out with a box. "you'll know why I saved this for private once you open it, I mean if it were just Teddy and Addie here that would be different but" Arizona went on rambling as Callie tore into the wrapping. "oh" Callie smiled

"I know we haven't' talked much about it, but" Arizona shrugged as Callie looked over the item she had just unwrapped. "how big is it?" Callie asked

"open it and find out" Arizona said as she watched Callie open the box and pull out the purple dildo, the box had said it was 6 inches. "hmm" Callie hummed as she examined it.

"I thought you could use it on me later" Arizona's voice was low

"is that what you want?"

"well" Arizona shrugged "it's not that you don't do it for me, you are more than enough, I just thought" Callie smiled she loved when Arizona was flustered, and started rambling. She silenced her with a kiss "I'd love to take you with this, make you really mine"

"I did good" Arizona let out a shy smile

"you did good" Callie smiled kissing her again "I should get changed before your mom comes looking for us"

"you do smell like" Arizona sniffs "what is that?"

"I'm not entirely sure" Callie laughs "I was draining something and got it all over me"

"well get changed, I'll meet you back upstairs" Arizona kissed her then opened the door "oh hide that, I don't want Teddy seeing it, she'll give us shit for days"

"why they have one" Callie said looking at the item in her hands

"they do?" Arizona smiled, seeing Callie nod "I've heard all about it" Callie laughed

"hmm" Arizona smiled and left shutting the door behind her.

"dinner was amazing Barbara, thank you for inviting us" April said sitting back in her chair

"you do realize this is our house right" Arizona laughed "not hers, she does not live here"

"as she said earlier" April laughed causing Arizona to roll her eyes

"mom does that make Callie yours too?" she asked looking at her mother, who smiled "I'd rather take Addie" she winked at Addie.

"why does your mom always hit on me?" Callie heard Addie whisper to Teddy

"she's got a girl crush on you" Teddy smiled then kissed her "and I completely understand why"

"shut up" Addie smacked her arm

"well" Callie said standing up "I'll get started on cleaning up"

"Arizona and Teddy can do it" Barbara said looking at her two daughters who both nodded. "and me?" Addie asked

"you can do whatever you want" Barbara smiled

"mom, stop hitting on my girl" Teddy said as everyone laughed again.

Dinner was done, the dishwasher was running, and the rest of the cleaning up was done. Arizona made her way into the living room, plopping down on the couch next to Callie. Noting the time, it was still early, on the tv played 'It's a wonderful life' she smiled, this was her favorite Christmas movie. Callie moved, so Arizona could cuddle into her, the movie was about half over, it was at the part where George and Clarence are at the bar. Arizona felt Callie wrap her arm around her, as she cuddled in closer. The day had been amazing and this was the perfect end to it. Looking around Addie and Teddy were cuddled up on the floor, her mom and dad were cuddled together on the love seat, and April and Jackie sat cuddled together on the chair. Yeah this was the perfect end to the day, no drama, just fun and laughter. She smiled as she felt Callie kiss the top of her head and whisper "I love you"

"I love you" she whispered back.

So there you go, there will be more time jumps as I want to get to the wedding. Although i have no idea where I'm going with it yet. Any ideas on how to make Erica disappear? I have a few ideas but I'm not sure I want to go that route, I'm excited to see what you all think. Thanks for reading.
