Chapter 17
Finally, the week of the wedding was here, Arizona had taken the next 3 weeks off work, the first week was to prepare for the wedding, and the next 2 were for the honeymoon. With her having off also meant Addie would be off too. Which Arizona was thankful for, Callie had to work Monday and Tuesday, but had taken off the rest of the week, and then of course the two weeks they'd be gone. They had decided against the storm chasing tour, Arizona stating that she really didn't want to spend their first weeks as a married couple couped up in a van with strangers. Callie agreed but made her promise that eventually they'd go on one. Which Arizona agreed, Callie then told her to plan it and surprise her. Arizona was more than happy to do. She was now standing in the kitchen waiting for Addie to finish getting ready so they could head over to her parents, Barbara had taken the week off also, and was demanding she and Addie come and try their dresses on once more, just in case. Arizona let out a groan of frustration when her phone started ringing with her mom's ringtone. "I said we'd be there" she said into the phone.
"I know but when?"
"as soon as Addie is ready" Arizona no more then said the word when the redhead walked into the kitchen saying "I'm ready"
"you hear that?" she said into the phone, not giving her mom a chance to say anything she said "we're on our way" and hangs up. "she's going to drive me bat shit crazy"
"oh let her, her babies are getting married" Addie laughed, Arizona rolled her eyes grabbing her keys and bag and headed out the door.

Walking into her parents' house Arizona saw her mother had made a complete mess. Wedding stuff was everywhere "mom, I thought we hired people to do this" Arizona said picking up a bunch of flowers and setting it down. "we did"
"then why are you" she shook her head "never mind, what do you need"
"your dresses are in your old room, go try them on, I'll be up in a minute" Arizona looked at Addie, and headed towards the stairs. "this isn't so bad" Addie said once the door to Arizona's old bedroom was closed. Arizona stopped in her tracks seeing the dress she had picked out so many months ago hanging on a hook. She reached for it, running her hands down the material. She had forgotten what it looked like, she didn't want any photo evidence of it with her, knowing Callie sometimes liked to go through her phone looking at the pictures. "it's a gorgeous dress" Addie said coming up behind her, she smiled.
"are you" Arizona started to say, she cleared her throat "are you getting nervous" she turned around looking at Addie, who smiled "honestly" Addie let out a shaky breath "I'm scared shitless" she said reaching for her dress. "Teddy is everything I've ever wanted, and more, she completes me in ways I didn't know I needed completing" Arizona smiled a knowing smile, that completely sums up how she feels about Callie. "well let's try these things on, I'm sure mom has a million other things she wants us to do"

Pulling into the driveway Callie noticed, Arizona's car was gone. Letting out a sigh, she was hoping to come home to someone today. Parking her truck, she got out and went into the house. Setting her stuff down she made her way into the kitchen for a drink, she sat down at the breakfast bar, letting her mind wander. Carlos again was out of town, making sure that Callie knew he'd be home in plenty of time for the wedding. As much as she wanted him here, she knew it was his way of dealing with everything, being gone all the time. Especially since Callie had moved out of the house. Letting out a sigh, she looked down seeing the papers to change her name, she picked them up scanning through hers. A smile on her face, she reached for a pen and started filling in the blanks and signing it. Seeing Addie's copies sitting there too already filled out, she smiled. It wouldn't be long and she'd be Calliope Robbins. Hearing the front door opened she was surprised when she looked up seeing Teddy. "hey"
"hey yourself"
"what you doing?"
"nothing really" Callie let out a sigh, tossing the pen down on the counter "just filling out this name change form"
"glad I don't have to do that" Teddy laughed
"yeah" Callie looked up meeting Teddy's eyes "you ever miss your parents?" Callie's voice was soft when she spoke
"sometimes I wonder what life would be like" Teddy let out a sigh taking a seat next to Callie "like how different life would have been. I mean don't get me wrong I love my mom and dad, but" she stopped looking at Callie who nodded and smiled "I, I miss my mom" Callie said in a soft tone.
"I know you do" Teddy said reaching for Callie's hand
"I just" Callie let out a sigh "I just wish she was here for this"
"I understand" Teddy squeezed her hand
"I often wonder if she'd be proud of me" Callie could feel the tears start to sting her eyes
"why would she not be?"
"I, I don't know" Callie sighed, wiping the tear that snuck out of her eye off her face
"Callie, you're amazing, everything about you" Teddy let out a little laugh when Callie scoffed "my sister sure thinks so"
"yeah" Callie sniffled
"well think about this" Teddy said a smile on her face "before you, Zo was" she paused thinking of the right words "um, well, I'll put it this way, every time I talked about being with a girl she'd tell me that I was gross, and she didn't want to hear about what I did with my tongue. And that she'd never do that"
"oh she's done more than that" Callie smiled
"oh I know" Teddy laughed "we live together remember" shaking her head Callie let out another sigh "I just, I" Callie shook her head "I can't even put into words"
"your mom would be super proud of you, remember that" Teddy said "and remember she's here" Teddy reached up touching Callie's heart "and here" she said moving her hand to Callie's head "she's where ever you are" Callie let out a sniffle "thanks Teds"
"anytime" Teddy smiled "now where are our wives?" she looked around
"I'm not sure, I'm surprised you're home this early" Callie shook her head
"yeah I decided to take off early today, and now I have the rest of the week off" Teddy turned her head to look at Callie, noticing the bruising was almost gone, but the scar was very noticeable. "I'm sorry about your head" she said softly
"look I know Addie laid into you about it but I want you to know neither Jackie or I blame you for this" Callie said pointing to her head
"she did, but only because I'm a huge fuck up" Teddy shrugged "I deserved it"
"no you didn't, I could see if it was Zo or April who did it, but your own girl" Callie shook her head "besides it's not like we were too badly hurt, yeah I have a scar, but Jackie is already better."
"scars are bad ass" Teddy laughed
"yeah they are" Callie smiled, looking into Teddy's eyes "thank you"
"I didn't do anything"
"you did more than you think" Callie smiled, reaching out pulling Teddy into a hug "I've never had a sister before"
"and soon you'll have two"
"I will" Callie smiled

Arizona walked onto the deck that looked out over the back yard. People have been coming and going for the past 2 days. Watching as two men lifted the arch way off a trailer and putting it where her mother instructed. It was now down to crunch time, t minus 26 hours until she would be confessing her love for Callie in front of all her friends and family. They had all decided not to have anyone stand up for them. Arizona and Callie would be signing for Addison and Teddy, and vise versa, so there was no need. They did however make April and Jackie become their personal attendants. "hey beautiful what are you doing" Arizona smiled hearing that voice she would know anywhere
"just thinking" Arizona let out a sigh as Callie wrapped her arms around her from the back, placing her chin on Arizona's shoulder "hmm, about what?"
"you, me, and our ten kids"
"ten kids huh?" Callie laughed
"maybe" Arizona shrugged
"hmm" Callie hummed as she kissed Arizona's cheek. Arizona turned herself around in Callie's arms, looking deep into those pools of brown "I love you so much Calliope"
"I love you too" Callie said as their lips met in a soft kiss.
"get a room" Teddy laughed as she and Addie joined them on the deck. As both couples looked out over the yard. "tomorrow" Teddy said
"tomorrow" Arizona said as the two sisters looked at each other and smiled.
"Addison honey" Barbara called from the door
"mom, stop hitting on her" Teddy said giving her mother the death stare
"I wasn't" Barbara said not even smiling "um" she stepped out onto the deck "there's someone here for Addison"
"who would be here for me?" Addie looked around at the group, everyone she knew in town was either in this house or April and Jackie
"well" Barbara said looking towards the house "I'm not 100% sure but I think it's your father"
"my father" Addie said looking at Teddy who reached for her hand
"that's my assumption" Barbara shrugged her shoulders.
"hmm" Addie said as she grasped Teddy's hand tighter and led her into the house. Arizona and Callie right behind. When they got through the kitchen, Arizona saw a tall man, dressed in a suit standing in front of the front door. "Addison" the man said when they came into view.
"father" Addie replied, this time it was Teddy who squeezed Addie's hand "this is Theodora my wife"
"I will be tomorrow" Teddy let go of Addie's hand and stepped forward reaching out her right hand for him to shake
"hmm" the man shook his head "Addison, I would like to speak to you in private"
"no, anything you want to say to me can be said in front of everyone in this room. They are my family" Addie said standing her ground
"Addison don't do this" his voice was stern
"no father, I'm not a kid anymore, and you lost the privilege to tell me what to do when you kicked me out of the house at 15" Arizona could hear the trembling in Addie's voice when she spoke, she watched as Teddy put her arm around her, more in a protective embrace not a comforting one. "I see" he clears his throat, and nods.
"if I may" Daniel's voice was heard, Addie nodded as Daniel stepped farther into the room "Mr. Montgomery, I'm Daniel Robbins" he reaches out his hand, the group looked on as Addie's father shook it "please have a seat" he held out his hand to the chair "would you like a drink?"
"no thank you" he shook his head "I came for Addison"
"well she isn't going anywhere with you" Daniel said sitting down "you see when I heard her story, my heart broke" he said looking directly into the eyes of the man he didn't even know his first name "I don't know if you know this but us Robbins, we are good men in a storm, and we protect the things we love. And we love your daughter, and therefore I, we, my wife and I, along with my daughters, will protect her"
"Addison" he looked over at Addie
"no" Addie shook her head "no"
"Mr. Montgomery" Daniel said trying to get the man to focus on him, his head turned "I know people like you, I've worked with plenty over the years" he was cut off by the doorbell ringing. Teddy and Arizona both gave each other a questioning look, as Arizona stepped forward pulling open the door to see Carlos standing there "daddy" Callie smiled
"come in Carlos" Arizona said opening the door wider for him to enter the house
"I thought I'd come by and see if there was anything I could be of help with" he said taking Callie in his arms and kissing the top of her head
"actually Carlos, there is" Daniel said from the living room "this here is Addison's father. I'm sorry I never got your first name"
"Mr. Montgomery will be fine" he said
"alright well" Daniel said meeting Carlos' eyes, he gave a nod, knowing what was going on. Carlos made his way into the living room sitting down on the couch. "Teds" Arizona whispered, when Teddy looked her way she nodded for them to head into the kitchen and away from whatever was about to blow up. "my dad always shows up at the perfect time" Callie said sitting down at the kitchen table
"I hope he doesn't" Addie started to say, but stopped, taking a seat across from Callie putting her head in her hands. "my father is a very powerful man" she sighed
"don't worry" Teddy said "dad is good at standing his ground and with Carlos here" she put her arm around Addie kissing her cheek. Arizona grabbed some beer out of the fridge setting them down on the table and took a seat. The four were quiet as they drank their beer, until they heard Daniel's voice in the doorway "Addison" Addie looked up, he nodded for her to join them. Teddy went to stand and follow "no you sit" Daniel said pointing at Teddy. Callie and Arizona sat there looking on, not sure what to do. "do you know if she ever read that email?" Arizona asked looking at Teddy
"I'm not sure, she never mentioned it again" Teddy sighed taking a long pull from her beer.

"Addison"
"father" Addie acknowledged the man again. Carlos and Daniel had gotten up from the couch but never left the room. "I, I'm sorry" he said "but I can't condone this, it's wrong, and against everything we stand for"
"no it's against everything you stand for" Addie said moving closer
"that interview caused a lot of" he paused trying to find the right word "controversy"
"not my problem" Addie crossed her arms
"it is" he said "you're my daughter you carry my last name"
"well after tomorrow I won't" she said looking at Daniel "tomorrow I will be officially part of a family that will love me unconditionally. Fuck they've already shown me more love them you and mother ever did" she looked around finally realizing her mother wasn't there "speaking of which where is the wicked witch of the west?"
"she, she's back in LA" he said "after that interview aired she started drinking and is now in rehab"
"good" Addie scoffed
"you put your poor mother in rehab"
"don't blame that on me" Addie said hearing Daniel clear his throat, causing her father to change his tone "I'm sorry, I can't do this" he shook his head and turned towards the door opening it he gave Addie one more look then stepped out closing the door behind him. Addie fell down on to the couch.

Hearing the door click shut Arizona, Callie and Teddy all rushed into the living room. Teddy quickly rushed over to Addie who was already in tears. Arizona and Callie stood by their fathers "what did you say to him" Arizona whispered
"nothing that wasn't the truth" Daniel said looking at Carlos who nodded, then turned to Callie "look at you" he smiled
"I missed you daddy" Callie said wrapping her arms around him
"I missed you too" Carlos said kissing the top of her head, Callie pulled out of his embrace and he went to Arizona "I see you're taking good care of my baby"
"yes sir" Arizona smiled "at least I'm trying"
"she's done an amazing job" Daniel said. Carlos laughed pulling Arizona into a hug as he whispered "thank you" Arizona didn't say anything, there wasn't anything to say, as she returned the embrace.
"alright who is ready for lunch?" Barbara said walking into the room

Callie opened her eyes, the light coming in through the window making her head hurt. She let out a groan, she hadn't planned on drinking so much. Hearing another groan beside her she looked over seeing blonde hair, which wasn't Arizona's color, sticking out of the blanket. Teddy had wrapped herself up in a blanket like a burrito. The last thing she clearly remembered was Arizona telling them no strip clubs, as they left the Robbins house. April and Jackie had planned separate parties for the couples, making sure Arizona, and Addie spent the night away from Callie and Teddy. They had ended up back at the house, with some of Teddy's work friends, and Irene and Sarah. Teddy let out another groan, and asked "what time is it?"
"um" Callie looked around the room, seeing the time on the clock on Arizona's side of the bed "7" she felt the bed move and Teddy's head popped out, Callie couldn't help but laugh. "what's so funny"
"why are you in my bed?"
"I" Teddy looked around the room "I don't know" she laughed there was a pounding on the door "you guys awake?" April's voice was heard
"ugh" Callie said loud enough to be heard, April took that as a yes and opened the door "come on get up, Sarah has breakfast started"
"how are you so" Teddy groaned, the sound of April's voice was making her head hurt
"come on" April said, clapping her hands together "spit spot" Teddy let out another groan "Mary Poppins really"
"she does kind of remind me of her sometimes" Callie giggled
"if you two aren't upstairs in ten minutes, I'm going to drag you up there by your ears" April said leaving the room, and slamming the door. Teddy rolled over "you guys have a nice bed, why didn't we get this bed?"
"I don't know" Callie laughed "I'm still trying to figure out why you're in here" Teddy laughed "you realize we spent our last night as single women in bed with each other"
"I don't know about you, but I haven't been single in a long time" Callie laughed, groaning in pain as her head started to throb. Teddy hit her in the arm "you know what I mean"
"I do" Callie smiled letting out a groan as she through the covers back "come on I don't want her down here again" she saw Teddy pull the covers over her head, so she reached down grabbing hold of all the blankets and yanked. Causing Teddy to groan "come on, we're getting married today"
"ugh, fine" Teddy grumbled as she stood up "remind me to kill Jackie"
"pretty sure Jackie wasn't the one who drank an entire bottle of crown"
"but still" Teddy giggled as she followed Callie up the stairs
"it's about time" April said seeing the two enter the kitchen
"why are you here, you're supposed to be with Arizona and Addie" Teddy said
"I was sent to make sure the house was still standing, and to make sure you two make it on time"
"I got it babe" Jackie smiled kissing April on the cheek
"just doing what I was told" April smiled "besides Barbara has it under control over there" Teddy smiled knowing what Arizona was going through with her mother.
"alright" April smiled as she sat down at the table "we got a few hours to relax, and get you two over the hangover, so eat up, take some pills and enjoy your last few hours of freedom"
"she's taking this personal attendant thing way too seriously" Teddy said into her cup causing the group to laugh.

Arizona let out a deep sigh, Barbara was driving her crazy, since the moment she opened her eyes that morning and saw she was standing over her, she'd been on her about something. She found herself with a moment of peace sitting out on the deck. She so badly wanted to smoke, but was trying to quit, she hadn't had one in so long she couldn't remember. Looking out over the yard a smile graced her face, in a few hours, she'd be standing out there confessing her love to the love of her life. "hey" Addie said quietly
"hi" Arizona smiled
"your mom is um" Arizona chuckled "yeah she's something else" Addie just smiled, and joined Arizona in staring out into the yard. They both let out a deep sigh "it's almost over"
"yes it is" they turned to look at each other smiling
"girls" Barbara said from the doorway, Arizona rolled her eyes "I know I've been a pain in the ass today, but" she stepped out "and I'm sorry, but it's time to start getting ready" Barbara smiled. Arizona reached for Addie's hand as they made their way back into the house.

The car pulled up outside the house Callie had come to know as a second home. Wiping her hands on her pants. She and Teddy dressed in the jeans Barbara had deemed acceptable, a black shirt and the vests and tie Teddy had found online. Jackie had done their hair and makeup. Teddy usually didn't wear any, and Callie very minimal, mostly it was what they put on her at work, but with Callie's scar, Jackie had to use quiet a bit of cover up. Barbara, Daniel, and Carlos came out of the house to meet the girls. Teddy opened the car door and stepped out. Barbara had a camera "oh don't you two look adorable"
"mom" Teddy said shaking her head
"Jackie dear go stand next to them" Barbara said holding up the camera
"thank god she wasn't at the house" Teddy groaned, as Barbara started snapping pictures. Irene and Sarah stepped in, Irene next to Teddy and Sarah next to Callie, the older women put their arms around the younger too. "do you remember our wedding" Sarah asked
"how could I forget" Irene laughed "your mother was"
"yeah" Sarah laughed not being able to get out anymore as Barbara ushered everyone into the house "you two stay here" she said pushing Callie and Teddy into the den, shutting the door. "but I have to pee" Callie said looking at Teddy
"mom, what if we have to pee" Teddy called into the door, the door opened "come" Sarah said, Teddy pushed Callie out the door, as her aunt shut it again. Teddy shook her head and sat down. It wasn't long before the door was open again and Callie came in. "if she's going to keep us locked in here like animals why did we have to come so early"
"oh relax" Callie smiled "we've both said that today is about Arizona and Addison, not about what we want"
"we did" Teddy smiled "I'm just"
"hungover?" Callie laughed
"I was going to say nervous, but yes that too" Teddy laughed
"it won't be long now" Callie said pulling out the chair behind Daniel's desk "at least I hope" Callie said looking around the room "hey what's this?" she asked seeing two envelopes sitting on Daniel's desk. One labeled Theodora and the other Calliope. "what is what?" Teddy asked, Callie picked up the letters. Holding one in each hand she watched as Teddy squinted then ripped the one that said her name on it out of Callie's hand. Callie watched as she tore it open. "it's a letter from Addie" she smiled. Callie stared at hers, running her fingers over her name in Arizona's handwriting she'd know that anywhere. She heard Teddy let out a sniffle and looked up at her "god I love this woman" Teddy said wiping her eyes "you going to read yours?"
"yeah" Callie slid her finger under the flap and opened it, the smell of Arizona's perfume caused her to smile. Pulling the paper out she unfolded it.
Calliope,
First I want to say waking up without you this morning sucked, I missed my personal heater, even though it's 70 degrees outside. I just want to say I love you, all of you, and after today we will never spend a night apart again. I'm going to make that my personal mission. You Calliope are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I'll see you soon beautiful, I'll be the blonde in white walking towards you. And please don't be too annoyed with Teddy, she loves you.

Callie wiped the tears that were streaming down her face. Hearing Teddy sniffle "great our women got us crying like little bitches"
"it's ok" Callie smiled putting the paper back in the envelope and setting it on the desk. There was a knock at the door, and it opened, Daniel and Carlos were standing there. "you girls ready" Daniel asked smiling, Callie looked at Teddy who nodded and jumped up from her seat.

Arizona let out a sigh, looking in the mirror "you look beautiful" Addie said coming up next to her, Arizona smiled meeting her eyes in the mirror "so do you"
"you think they read the letters?" Addie asked not taking her eyes off Arizona's
"probably" she smiled again, there was a knock on the door as Barbara came in "you girls ready?" Arizona and Addie both looked at each other and nodded. "well come on, lets get you married" Barbara reached out her hands.

Daniel and Carlos walked arm and arm with Teddy and Callie to the front. Callie kissed Carlos on the cheek as Teddy did the same, Carlos then took a seat and Daniel made his way back into the house. A few minutes later, the music changed, all the guests stood and turned towards the house. Daniel stepped out first, then Addie came, Teddy's breath caught in her throat "breathe" Callie whispered
"you won't be breathing in a minute" Teddy whispered back, and she was right, as soon as Arizona came into view Callie found herself not being able to breathe. The dress Arizona had on fit her perfectly, all her delicious curves, and the sleeveless design had Callie's mouthwatering. "how did I get so lucky" hearing Teddy laugh, Callie blushed she wasn't supposed to say that out loud. Blinking her eyes and shaking her head to clear her thoughts, she watched as Daniel walked both Arizona and Addie down the aisle. Once they got to the front, Callie and Teddy stepped out reaching for the hands of their soon to be wives. Daniel kissed all four women on the cheek and went to sit next to Barbara and Carlos. Callie kissed Arizona's cheek, and turned. Smiling as the officiant stepped in front of them, she smiled and gave Callie a wink.
"we are all gathered here today to celebrate love, and in my opinion a little bit of magic" the woman said "I know this isn't a typical wedding, but if I've learned anything about these women standing in front of me, there isn't anything typical about them" everyone laughed "now since this is already going to be long, I'm going to keep my speech short" she let out a little laugh "alright Theodora and Addison you two can go first" Arizona squeezed Callie's hand, as Callie glanced over at her. Neither woman paying attention to what was being said, both were lost in each other's eyes. "Arizona, Calliope, it's your turn" they turned towards each other. Callie took a deep breath "all my life I have felt like I was running from something, the loss of my mom, changed me in so many ways. I felt lost, but with you, I feel like I found my person, you Arizona Robbins are the love of my life, my best friend, my soul mate. And I love you so very much" Callie had more she wanted to say but when the time came she froze, and couldn't get the words out. Arizona reached up wiping the tears off her cheek as she started talking "Calliope" she smiled "what can I say to you that I already haven't said" seeing Callie smile Arizona continued "you make me feel as if the world turns just for me. You make me see the colors when everything is grey, I love you with everything I have inside of me, my heart beats just for you. I knew the moment I first laid eyes on you that you were my one. My love, my heart, my soul. I love you so very much it almost hurts, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you" Arizona had tears streaming down her face, Callie reached up wiping them away "oh and you look absolutely amazing" she whispered
"so do you" Callie whispered back
"may I have the rings" April and Jackie stood up handing the rings over to the officiant, who handed them off to the women "Addison repeat after me, I Addison take you Theodora to be my partner from now until death" Addie repeated the words while slipping the ring on Teddy's finger "Theodora, repeat after me. I Theodora take you Addison to be my partner from now until death" Teddy slipped the ring on Addie's finger. Letting out a little chuckle when she saw it and the one she was wearing, Addie laughed too.
"ok don't kiss yet" everyone laughed, as the woman turned towards Arizona and Callie "Arizona repeat after me I Arizona take you Calliope to be my partner from now until death" Arizona repeated the words and slipped the ring on Callie's finger, noticing right away it wasn't Callie's, but decided to ignore it for now. "Calliope repeat after me. I Calliope, take you Arizona to be my partner from now until death" Callie slipped the ring on Arizona's finger "and now, by the power of the interwebs, I now pronounce you wives and wives" neither couple waited for her to say it was ok to kiss, Callie reached out pulling Arizona in, as their lips met, they both felt the spark as if it were their first kiss all over again. They let Addie and Teddy make their way down the aisle first, holding hands and smiling. "let's go wife" Arizona looped her arm through Callie's.
"I like the sound of that" Callie smiled as Arizona tighten her hold on Callie's arm and they walked back towards the house. "if you'll all stick around, the couples have invited you to a party, once this mess is cleaned up"
"so I take it you like my choice in officiants" Arizona smiled once they were back in the house.
"how did?" Callie couldn't get the rest out, she was flabbergasted.
"I figured she's your only friend, well the only one you've ever talked about, so I decided to get a hold of her and, she offered" Arizona shrugged
"god, I love you" Callie pulled Arizona into a bone crushing hug, and placed a kiss on her lips "hey enough of that" a voice came "you can do that tonight" Callie smiled pulling away from her wife to greet her old friend "Meredith, what a surprise"
"hi Callie" Meredith smiled "congrats" holding her arms out, Callie wrapped her arms around her friend "I've got someone else here with me" Meredith said pulling back. "Torres, you caught the rockstar" Callie looked up, and straight into the eyes of another one of her long-lost friends "or should I call her song girl?" Callie laughed as she moved from Meredith to her other friend "Cristina, it's so good to see you"
"yeah, yeah quit gushing" Cristina hugged her back
"allow me to introduce my wife" Callie said reaching for Arizona's hand pulling her into the conversation. "this is Arizona Robbins, my wife" Callie smiled she'll never get tired of saying that "we've met" Meredith smiled holding out her hand anyway "Zo this is Cristina Yang, another friend from high school"
"Cristina it's good to meet you" Arizona reached out her hand
"I know" Cristina smiled "everyone loves meeting me"
"she's got a" Callie started to say but was cut off by Meredith "I also have someone I'd like you to meet" Cristina rolled her eyes "Callie this is Derek Shepard, my um, my husband"
"it doesn't count if you only wrote it on a post it note" Cristina rolled her eyes again. Arizona and Callie both looked at each other, as Derek held out his hand "Ms. Robbins it's good to see you again" he smiled
"again" Meredith asked looking at her husband
"Arizona, is my patient, or was" he looked at her "how's your head" he pointed to his head
"it's been good, now that I'm not touring" Arizona smiled as she wrapped her arms around Callie. The happiness Callie was feeling could be absorbed to everyone in the vicinity.
"picture time" Barbara called, causing Arizona to groan "Zo get your ass over here, once we're done with the pictures you can do whatever you want"
"fine mom" Arizona rolled her eyes pulling Callie in the direction of where her mother was.

"and now let me be the first to introduce, Addison and Theodora Robbins" Arizona had set it up to where her band would be playing. Although they had to hire a lead singer, but she didn't care. "and Arizona and Calliope Robbins" the lead singer the band had chosen was a female, Arizona didn't remember her name, nor did she care. Teddy and Addie walked out onto the deck, smiled and waved at everyone, followed by Arizona and Callie. "after today no one is allowed to call me Calliope"
"but you like it when I call you Calliope" Arizona purred in Callie's ear
"ok only you can call me Calliope" Callie laughed pulling Arizona down the stairs to the back yard that was now set up with a dance floor, stage and tables. Callie followed Teddy who was leading Addie to the table that was set up for them. A white tablecloth, with a tea candle floating in water in the middle, white flowers were placed around. Arizona smiled, her mom really did do a good job. They sat down, and instantly everyone started tapping on their glasses "I think that means we have to kiss" Teddy said, causing the rest to laugh. Arizona reached up cupping Callie's face, staring right into those brown orbs "I never want to stop" she whispered before their lips met. Callie's face was starting to hurt, she hadn't smiled that much since they did the last photoshoot for work. As her eyes met Arizona's she saw pure happiness in them. All the annoyance was gone from earlier. They were lost in each other's eyes when plates were set in front of them, and champagne glasses. Arizona picked up her glass, Callie watched as Teddy and Addie did the same, she smiled and reached for hers "to us" Arizona smiled looking over at Teddy "to us" Teddy said holding her glass out, Callie and Addie both had to lean over, as the four clinked glasses. Arizona's eyes caught the ring on Callie's finger. "hey" she said reaching for her left hand sliding the ring off "we should probably switch these back" she laughed
"oh yeah" Addie laughed following Arizona's actions. Arizona handed the ring to Addie, who had Callie's. Teddy looked down at the ring on her finger "I don't know I kind of like it"
"I knew you would" Callie laughed "but it doesn't belong to you" Callie reached over pulling the ring off Teddy's finger "ouch" Teddy pulled her hand to her chest "you weren't that rough last night" Callie's eyes shot up "I'm joking" Teddy laughed taking her ring and putting it on her finger. Arizona rolled her eyes and said "I'm so hungry" she looked down at the salad that was placed in front of her.
"mom didn't make breakfast?" Teddy asked as she reached for a fork
"she did, I just" Arizona let out a sigh
"she was too nervous to eat" Addie laughed
"no more like annoyed, mom was on my ass from the time I opened by eyes, she was literally standing over me when I opened my eyes" Arizona groaned putting her fork in her mouth
"at least you didn't wake up in bed together" Callie said shoving a forkful of salad into her mouth
"what?" Arizona said her eyes shot to Teddy's "why were you in bed with my wife?"
"um" Teddy laughed and shrugged; Addie let out a giggle. She knew how cuddly Teddy was when she'd been drinking.
"so you spent your last night single in bed with my wife?"
"relax" Callie said putting her hand on Arizona's arm "she was a perfect gentlemen" everyone laughed except Arizona "now I have to wash the sheets" Arizona let out in a huff
"baby we had to wash them anyway after the other night" Callie laughed knowing it'd get Teddy wound up.
"I feel like I need another shower" Teddy groaned reaching for her glass. Barbara appeared again with a camera, snapping pictures.

Tap, tap, tap came from the speakers "hello everyone" a voice was heard "I'm Bruce, I used to be part of Arizona's band" he said in his gayest voice ever "I just want to say thanks for taking her away Callie" he said in fake annoyance "I'm just kidding, Zo, happy looks good on you, and I'm so happy I get to be here for your special day" he said waving his hand around.
"god he's so gay" Addie giggled
"yeah" Arizona smiled "but he was my rock when we were on tour"
"to Arizona and Callie" Bruce's voice was heard "oh and Teddy and Addie" everyone held up their glasses.

The day wore on, the speakers came to life again "alright now that everyone's belly is full, let's get the brides out onto the dance floor for the first dance" Arizona looked up seeing the singer for the night. "hey isn't that one of Erica's artist" Addie asked
"I think so" Arizona said looking around praying to god Erica wasn't there. She knew for a fact no one had invited her, deciding to put that thought to rest, Callie reached for her hand "come on wife, let's dance" smiling she took it, following Teddy and Addie to the open area where they would be dancing. Callie spun her around, then wrapped her arms around her waist. Arizona put her arms around Callie's neck, like they've done a million times dancing around the living room. "I love you" Callie whispered
"I love you" Arizona smiled leaning in kissing her, as the music started. Since music was Arizona's specialty, they let her pick the song. The music started; the two couples started moving slowly to the music. "I'm gonna make you my wife" Callie had never heard this song before "Cause you're my everything, all my hopes and dreams come true, I can live my life with you. I'm gonna buy you some rings, and everywhere you go, everyone will know that it's real. What you make me feel. Until there is no more of me" Arizona looked into Callie's eyes, Callie smiled at her, leaning in they kissed. "I will try to make you see that I will be, my all and all

"where did you find this song?" Callie asked
"I have my ways" Arizona winked as she spun Callie around, they both giggled. Seeing Teddy and Addie were wrapped around each other just swaying back and forth "they don't know how to dance" Arizona laughed
"I don't think they really care" Callie smiled, she was right, all Addie and Teddy wanted was to officially be married. The singer sang on, but neither couple was really paying attention to the words. They were lost in the feeling of being in love and each other's arms. As the song ended Arizona grabbed Callie's hand and led her back to their seats, grabbing some glasses of champagne off a tray. Handing one to Callie she smiled, holding up the glass "to us"
"to us" Arizona winked, they both took a sip setting their glasses on the table Callie wrapped her arms around Arizona. Arizona let out a contented sigh, as Callie kissed her cheek. "I love you, Arizona"
"I love you, Calliope" Arizona smiled

"We're going to get funky" was heard through the speakers, the band had pulled out a radio or something Arizona wasn't sure "OH MY GOD" Teddy said grabbing both Arizona and Addie to the dance floor, Arizona made sure to grab Callie's hand too. "I love this dance" Teddy exclaimed "Funky, everybody clap your hands" Callie looked around, everyone was on the floor now, including Barbara and Daniel, and Carlos. "Clap, clap, clap, clap your hands
Clap, clap, clap, clap your hands" Arizona looked up and saw Bruce with his phone out, she winked at him. He knew her too well knowing this would be something she'd want recorded. "Alright now, we're going to do the basic step. To the left, take it back now, y'all." The next thing Callie knew Meredith and Cristina were next to her laughing loudly. "One hop this time
Right foot, let's stomp, Left foot, let's stomp. Cha cha real smooth" during the cha cha everyone was running into everyone causing everyone to laugh. "this is awesome" Teddy yelled "Turn it out, to the left, take it back now y'all. One hop this time, Right foot, let's stomp, Left foot, let's stomp. Cha cha now y'all" Arizona looked around, her eyes landing on her wife, she really did know how to move, she could feel herself getting wet, as Callie purposely bumped into her, sending her a wink "Now it's time to get funky, to the right now" Arizona went towards Teddy who was too busy sticking her ass in Addie's face, causing them both to laugh and lose concentration. "To the left" she reached out putting her hands on Callie's waist "Take it back now y'all, one hop this time, one hop this time, right foot two stomps, Left foot two stomps
Slide to the left" it was now Callie's turn to grab Arizona's ass, she looked back and smiled "Slide to the right, Criss cross, Criss cross" Arizona noticed on the other side of Addie was Irene and Sarah who looked like they were having the time of their lives. Smiling she sent up a silent prayer that Teddy had made that phone call and gotten to know her aunt. In the past year that Irene had been part of her sister's life, she noticed Teddy had changed, in a good way. She always felt there was something missing with her sister, but now it seemed as if Teddy was completely happy. Arizona was so lost in her thoughts she lost track of the dance, and was brought back to reality when Callie bumped into her, since she wasn't paying attention, she tumbled over, pulling her wife with her. "oops" Arizona laughed, Callie was now laying on top of her
"hey song girl, you can do that later, we're trying to dance here" Cristina said
"I think I'm done dancing for now" Arizona said meeting Callie's eyes as they both laughed
"might be a good idea" Callie placed a kiss on her lips and stood, reaching out her hand to help Arizona up, pulling her into her, as she led her off the dance floor and back to their seats. "your dress is dirty" Callie said seeing a green stain from the grass
"oh well" Arizona shrugged "mom will get it out, besides I won't ever be wearing this again"
"better not be" Callie winked, Arizona reached over grabbing Callie's tie pulling her in for a kiss, just before their lips met Arizona whispered "I love this"
"was thinking about getting a couple more"
"it's like a leash, when I want you all I have to do is grab it" Callie shook her head and placed her lips on the blondes.
"alright everyone" the lead singer came over the speakers "Arizona would you come up here"
"gotta go" Arizona kissed Callie and went to the stage. The singer covered the microphone and said "I figured we'd do this before you got too drunk or got hurt" they both laughed "thank you" April walked up handing Arizona her guitar "hey everyone" Arizona said into the microphone "thanks for coming and celebrating our special day with us" she paused a moment as someone put a chair on the stage for her "I have something special for my wife, I love you baby" Arizona said as she started to strum finding Callie's eyes in the crowd "baby when I look at you, you know it breaks my heart into. How beautiful you are. I've seen you in a million dreams, now you're finally here with me. We will never be apart. I want to hold you forever, that's all I'll ever need" she could see the tears starting to swell in Callie's eyes "you are my love you are my life, my heart and soul the truest friend I've ever known, you are my world, all of my dreams. My fantasy, my reality I love everything you are" Arizona smiled "yes I do" then winked "every time I close my eyes, it hits me so deep inside. How real this feeling is. I'm intoxicated by your touch, it's a sweet, sweet rush. I'm in love with your kiss. You're the one that I trust the most, you changed me" her voice hung on the last word, not taking her eyes off Callie's "you are my love, you are my life, my heart and soul the truest friend I've ever known, you are my world, all of my dreams, my fantasy my reality. I love everything you are" Arizona couldn't take her eyes off Callie's. "You are my love, you are my life, my heart and soul the truest friend I've ever known, you are my world all of my dreams my fantasy my reality, I love everything you are" Arizona smiled "everything I love everything you are" there wasn't a dry eye in the crowd "I love you Calliope Robbins, and don't you ever forget it" she smiled and handing the microphone off to the lead singer, and her guitar off to April, Bruce stepped forward and moved the chair. Callie met Arizona at the edge of the stage reaching out her hand to help her down. As luck would have it, they ended up on the ground, this time Arizona was on top of Callie. "Damn song girl can't you keep it in your pants?" Cristina said causing everyone within earshot to laugh "I like her" Arizona smiled rolling off Callie and standing up.

The rest of the night was filled with laughs and drinks. Everyone had the time of their lives. Arizona had one more surprise for Callie, and Addie. Teddy had known about it, since they weren't leaving until tomorrow afternoon the two couples decided to spend the night at their house. Everyone had congregated to the front yard to say goodbye to the two couples. Arizona walked Callie through the house, making sure they had everything they would need. Walking out the front door, Callie stopped causing Teddy to run into her "one foot in front of the other" Teddy laughed
"Arizona, what's that?"
"um" Arizona smiled taking Callie's hand pulling her out and down the steps "its our ride home" it was the same carriage and horses that she had picked her up from work with on Christmas eve.
"I love it" Addie said kissing Teddy
"come" Arizona pulled Callie everyone had lined up along the sidewalk as the two couples made their way to the road. Blowing bubbles and hoop and hollering. Once they got to the end of the sidewalk, Arizona let Callie's hand go as she hugged her mom "thank you for everything"
"no need to thank me honey" Barbara sniffled she let go and went to Daniel repeating her words. "I'm just happy you girls are happy" he smiled, Arizona stepped back watching as Callie hugged Carlos, Teddy gave both Irene and Sarah a hug then her parents. Barbara pulled Addie in, holding her close, Daniel repeated her actions kissing the top of Addie's head. Arizona could see she was having a hard time holding it together. She turned toward Callie "ready"
"yes" Callie smiled as she climbed up into the carriage, sliding over making room for everyone. This time instead of Arizona driving it, the owner was there. "congrats ladies" he smiled at the four. They smiled and all said their versions of thank you, as the carriage started to move. "so" Callie said looking at Arizona "are you going to tell me where we're going tomorrow?"
"nope" Arizona kissed her cheek "you'll find out when we get to the airport" Callie scoffed hearing both Addie and Teddy chuckle.
The songs in this chapter are I'm gonna make you my wife by The Whispers. You Are by Jimmy Wayne and of course The cha cha slide. I wanted to do something funny with it but when the time came I couldn't get it out. lol Hope you all enjoyed it, and callie's little meltdown about her mom, I have the same thoughts as I lost my mom, who was also my best friend almost 20 years ago now.
