Chapter 39: Hoshigaki D. Naruto Versus Hody Jones Part 2 of 3
LAST TIME
The two got ready, Naruto's Sage mode starting to run out and Hody starting to feel the effects of the arm but before the two did anything, they noticed something overshadowing them but not just them but the entire vicinity. Seeing this, they stopped what they were doing and just turn to be met with great shock at the sight of the massive Noah ship that was floating above Fishman island. The sight of the ship stopped all the fighting with many beginning to freak out at what they were seeing. Suddenly something came falling down, a giant Fishman who crashed into the ground between Naruto and Hody who watched him fall forwards before sitting up in pain.
"Wadatsumi, why is Decken's underling here?!" Hody demands the large Fishman who looks up at the giant ship immediately as well as in a hurry.
"Captain Vander Decken! I fell off! Stop the ship! I don't wanna die!" Wadatsumi shouts at the massive ship while Naruto and Hody understood what was happening as their fight was put on hold.
"DECKEN/DECKEN!" Both Naruto and Hody shout with great anger at what they were seeing.
CURRENT TIME
It was then they heard a loud voice on a moshi moshi.
[SHIRAHOSHI! Accept my love! Bahahahahah!]
Hearing that voice, Naruto grits his teeth in anger just like Hody who found his interference to be an annoyance as they heard him laugh.
[Did you hear me, Shirahoshi? Bahahahahah!]
It was at that time Jinbe shouted in anger at seeing the massive boat above them all.
"Don't tell me Decken threw the Noah like he threw those letters and aces?!" As he shouted that, the Fishman spoke once again.
[I've been loving you for 10 years since you were just a little kid. There is no one who could love you like I do in all the world, not even your fiancé!]
When he said that, he could hear the distaste in the last part which increased Naruto's annoyance.
[Its my love! Love, love! L-O-V-E! Why can't you just accept it?! Things that I threw with my Mark-Mark Fruit power...won't stop until they crash into something or hit their target! Noah the giant ship! It embodies my love for you! Accept it and drop dead along with all the Fishman Island, Shirahoshi! Bahahahahah!]
As he laughed, the chains of Noah crashed into the land, causing much damage while his crewmate spoke to his captain.
"Captain Decken! What about me?!" Wadatsumi asked his captain loudly, getting a reply immediately.
[Wadatsumi! It's too late! It's impossible for me to save you! So I need you to become a sacrifice upon Shirahoshi's death, along with the Island!]
Hearing that simply horrified the childlike giant all the while the boat has started to come into contact with the bubble of Fishman Island, causing it to stretch much to everyone's horror just before they saw a single princess fly up to the massive ship, shocking many.
"I am over here!" Shouted the Princess who was above everyone else, floating in the air with her arms extended above the island.
"What is she—" Naruto stops there when he noticed the ship starting to slow down as it approached her. Seeing this, Naruto knew what she needed to do while she too spoke.
"I thought you wanted to take just my life!" As she shouted that, Naruto began to notice the massive chains of Noah being lifted back into the air as the ship's course was directed while Shirahoshi started to go higher and higher.
"If I am the only one who you want to kill, please do not harm the other people...of the Ryugu Kingdom! COME AND GET ME!" She shouts at Decken all the while Naruto just stares at her with amazement as he could see despite her fear she knew what needed to be done as of right now.
"So, that crazy Decken bastards...he was gonna crush is all along with the island. How dare he betray us!" Hearing that, Naruto turns back to Hody who made eye contact with him right before the two broke out for a run, ignoring each other as they dashed for the nearest chains nearby. As Naruto ran, he heard a scream and immediately looks up at the Princess to see her right shoulder was bleeding yet that only caused her to hurry away.
"DAMMIT DECKEN!" Naruto shouted in anger at the foolish Fishman doing such a thing as he was already approaching the nearest chain and the moment he was about to jump, he body completely froze as he was hit with a lot of stress with his body becoming weaker as his eye changed back with the markings disappearing. Seeing that he's run out of time, he claps his hands together and with it he grits his teeth as hard as he could with veins forming on his forehead, using all the strength he can muster to summon a single water clone next to him and without a word being said the clone suddenly dashed away from him, knowing the plan.
"Guess I gotta use my backup plan." As he thought that, he stops whisk raising his arms.
"SECOND GATE! GATE OF HEALING; OPEN!" With those words, his muscles suddenly expanded as steam came off his skin just before he disappeared with a small crater forming at his feet, immediately using that sudden boost to get himself on the chain that he now held onto but his body still felt the after-effects of his sage mode but thankfully the second gate helped lift some of the burdens he was feeling, enough so he can move as he regularly did if not for the tiredness.
"I gotta hurry!" As he thought it, he began climbing as fast as he could to get to the top but while he was climbing fast, he heard shouting and turns to see Hody on another of the chains and below him were man Fishman who was grabbing on the chain as well, trying to stop it from catching up with the Princess, even shouting at her to get away from the ship.
"That won't do not a single thing by themselves." Naruto muttered, finding their efforts foolish that they think they can slow such a thing down but that was when he saw Hody pull back his right arm.
"HODY STOP!" He shouted at the man who unleashed a barrage of fire on them, sending many off of the chains.
"Worthless scum! Because of cowards like you guys, humans think they can make fools of Fishmen!" As he shouted that, he unleashes a second barrage on the civilians, wounding them all greatly.
"Your lives mean nothing to me!" Those words combined with Hody's actions could only cause Naruto to pull back his right arm but froze as the moment he tried to use his devil fruit he felt a strain coming from his body as he tried to use a far greater water attack then he could muster at the moment with his stamina being low as well as having used up all his sage mode. In the end, he hurried up the chains, using the entire situation to give him more time.
"Damn you Hody." Muttered the hybrid who they noticed the entrance to the palace which was also left open which she enters and out into the sea, with her out the ship follows after her and has then entered the ocean which Naruto takes a deep breath and exhales as the Ocean water began to help his tiredness.
"Seems your still holding on tight, abomination!" Hearing that, he turns fast to find Hody directly behind him with a smile.
"You act so tough yet it's obvious that you've reached your limit entirely. That's how weak you are! I'll make you refresh standing against me!" He said with a smile, Naruto swung his left leg full force as it was covered in haki.
"Friction + Inertia!" As Hody said those words, the kick simply slips off of him as he gets directly in front of Naruto face, inches away from each other as he slams it directly into Naruto's stomach yet instead of turning to water, he felt contact a strong contact which surprised Hody who saw Naruto cough out blood as he was sent off the chain, seeing this caused Hody to smile even more.
"So, that power does come with a Price." As he said it, he heads right for Naruto who looks up from where he was as abdomen was hurt from the attack Hody unleashed, barely having enough time to use Haki before he sits up completely as he covered his entire body in Haki for protection.
"And they say you defeated an Admiral, I find that hard to believe! SHARK ARROWS!" As he shouted that, he unleashed a barrage of water arrows at Naruto yet he dodged every single one much to the surprise of Hody who saw Naruto enter a defensive stance, annoying Hody at seeing he's not given up yet before he heads for him.
"I'll make you regret ever coming back here! WEA—Agh?!" Hody stops almost immediately much to Naruto's surprise to see the Fishman grabbing his head in pain while the arms eye began to glow as the mouth on the palm showed a sinister smile. The Fishman could feel an unimaginable pain from the arm he had attached to his body. Seeing this, he was about to attack before hearing a scream and turns fast towards Noah before his body starts changing to the point he had shark fins before bursting off full speed towards the ship.
"I'll be their soon, Shirahoshi!" As he thought that, he hurries towards the Princess and leaving behind Hody who began yelling in pain as he saw darkness wrapping around him.
(Did you actually think you could tame my power?)
Hearing that voice, Hody turns in anger to face a figure of darkness. Seeing the figure, Hody draws back his arm, about to attack when a single finger presses on his forehead.
(Your truly a pitiful sight, you thought you could actually use my power to is fullest? You're merely using a fraction of its true capabilities, so...)
With those words, the finger digs into Hody's forehead who screams more in pain as his body began to get larger with the arms infection spreading more and more, across the body.
(How about I give you more power in order to use the arm, well...more so allowing you to use more of my arms power but by doing so, the after affects will basically be your end. I want to see what happens next. Also, I want you to follow a single rule and going against the said rule, well...it won't end well for you at all.)
As the figure said it to the changing Hody, it's attention was drawn towards Naruto who was heading for the Princess.
WHERE DECKEN WAS ON THE NOAH
"Like I said, it's no use, Shirahoshi! As long as my Mark-Mark Curse is in effect, there is no way for you to get away from the Noah! Bahahahahah—" Decken stopped cold when he felt something hit him and simply looks down to find a katana having been stabbed through his chest, the katana having a red dragon like design engraved in it. Seeing this, Decken turns slowly to find a hooded cloaked figure standing behind him.
"Captains orders are orders, who knew he was such a monster as wanting to have Noah destroy Fishman Island." Spoke the man who had the Jolly Roger of the Hades pirates on the back of the cloak.
"And before you ask, I'm Zen. The Second-In-Command of the Hades Pirates." As he said it, he draws the blade out as the Fishman who falls forwards but as he did, Zen grabs his hat just as he falls down the Noah that was posted upwards about 90 degrees. As he watched him fall, he began to clean the blood off of his katana with the hat before sheathing it as black goop forms behind him which he starts walking back into it, allowing it to consume him as it swirls with him before he disappears.
BACK TO NARUTO
"SHIRAHOSHI!" Hearing that shout, the Princess looks down with her brothers who had just arrived also turned to see Naruto speeding towards them, stopping in front of Ryuboshi and Manboshi who floated below Shirahoshi, Hoe, and Fukaboshi.
"Is Shirahoshi ok, where exactly is Decken located on the ship?!" Naruto demands the two who look at each other with a shocked expression before turning to him to answer.
"We don't know what just happened but some figure appeared behind Decken from some black substance before stabbing him and disappearing again." Manboshi told the wide-eyed Naruto who thought about what happened when they arrived on the Island.
"Caesar..." Naruto muttered as he turns back to the ship and saw no sign of the Fishman at all but what he did see was something approaching then at unthinkable speeds that caused the three to get ready until they heard it.
"ATTRACTION + INERTIA + ELECTROMAGNETISM!" As they heard that, the three were forced at the figure who's form was finally revealed to be a crazed looking Hody who had transformed, he now had red sclera with an enlarged jaw. Not only that but he's grown so much muscle mass he not looks even maybe then before. The three didn't have any time to counter as Hody's left arm slams into Ryuboshi, the right Manboshi, and head into Naruto who had his arms up before the three were consumed by lightning that spreads throughout the water, almost hitting Shirahoshi if not for both Hoe and Fukaboshi getting in front of her, being electrocuted as well from the attack. Ending with Naruto, and the three Princes being paralyzed as Hody swims past them.
"The most effective way to crush my enemies is aim for the heart!" Hody shouts as he saw the whale Hoe heading for him in order to intervene which Hody raises his arm directly at it, causing Naruto's eyes to widen.
"DODGE!" He shouts at the whale who didn't listen as two words were said.
"Weak Force!" Those words, they all witnessed the whale turned to nothing as it was destroyed by Hody much to the horror of the three Prince's and Shirahoshi who turns in horror at what she saw.
"HOE-SAMA!" She screams as her tears dissolve into the sea just as her brother get in front of her, weapon in hand despite feeling pain all over his body as Hody was swimming directly for him.
"SHIRAHOSHI, SWIM AS FAST AS YOU CAN!" He orders his incredibly sad and terrified sister who only listens as she swims faster away from the crazed monster heading directly for Fukaboshi who had prepared himself for battle.
"HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN WHAT I SAID?! REPULSION!" With those words, he uses the left arm to send back the Fishman who could do nothing as Hody swam past him towards the scared Shirahoshi. Catching up with her quickly as his hand grabs her hair, stopping her completely as he laughed crazily.
"Now, I wonder what will Naruto do once I rip out your heart with my bare hands!" As he said it, Shirahoshi continues to struggle but to no avail as Hody draws back his left arm.
"NARUTO-SAMA!" As she screamed as his name the Fishman was about to swing when he heard it.
"OPEN!" As Hody heard that, his attention was drawn back to see something past him before he turns again to see a red skinned Naruto balancing one hand on his mechanical leg was drawn back.
"GATE OF PAIN!" As he screamed that, he slams his leg directly into Hody's face that sent him back from the powerful kick as he held his face a little before letting go to watch Naruto floating between him and Shirahoshi.
"NARUTO-SAMA!" The Princess said with happiness at seeing Naruto protecting her as the Fishman stared at one another in silence, almost immediately confusion Hody to see the red skin turning back to blue as Naruto claps his hands together.
"It was my fault for not taking you seriously from the beginning, I should've went all out on you from the very beginning to prevent you from getting this far and because of it I'm forced to do this." Hearing that, Hody glared in anger at Naruto who seemed to talk as if he were holding back.
"SILENCE YOU ABOMINATION!" Roared Hody who swam directly at Naruto who closed his eyes while Hody aims his arm towards him.
"WEAK FORCE—" He couldn't finish as all of a sudden a large blue fist slams into him, causing him to float back in shock at what had just happened.
"By doing this, I'll suffer from the side effects for awhile for going over my limit but in exchange..." As he thought that, far from him his water clone vanished and with it his eyes shot open to reveal the left eye changing yet again with dark blue markings spreading over his body once again, causing Hody's eyes to widen in more shock yet he swims right for Naruto in a hurry.
"DON'T YOU DARE THINK THIS IS—" He froze when he saw something appearing behind Naruto, it was the spirit of the Thousand-Armed Kannon.
"What is—" He was merely silenced as it unleashed a massive barrage of light blue punches that slammed into Hody repeatedly none stop, preventing him from dodging as the fists continued.
"WTF IS THIS?!" Hody thought in anger, only relieved when it finally stops but he widen to find Naruto directly in front of him with his left arm drawn back.
"Fishmen Karate: Kisame Style, Fist of the Raging Sea's Tenth Trigram." As he said it, Hody swung as fast as he could but it was too late as a black and white yin and yang symbol appeared under Naruto's feet as his arm was covered by a black and white Chinese dragon. Faster then Hody could move the fist slams directly into his Hody's stomach, causing him to vomit out blood as he floated backward as a fist impression appears on his stomach but before he could move, something slammed into the same spot again, and again, and again, and again. As it continued, it created its own current of Hody screaming in pain as the strength felt as if every punch slightly increased more and more, ending only when he crashed into Noah's deck which caused a large explosion of debris. Seeing this, the serious looking Naruto prepared himself for the final round 3.
