When Sakura awoke the next morning she was exhausted. Her body ached as if the training she had done in her dreams was actually done in real life. Jogi Hiko had pushed her chakra control harder and harder. Refining small differences to test her current abilities. Jogi Hiko had also tested her senses, those that had been heightened by the great beast being in her body. She feared the idea of going back to the nightmare that he had previously pushed her into so for now she hadn't questioned anything.

Something was coming and that damn owl knew it. He wouldn't tell her anything. Not yet anyway. Sakura glanced to the spot where Gaara had laid last night. An emotion she didn't want to deal with sparked inside of her. His spot was empty but a small cactus not even as big as her hand sat at the end table with a note. The note read in scribbled writing:

His name is terry. He helps with bad dreams.

"Well Terry, you did a shitty job last night." Sakura snickered, then chuckled at how ridiculous Gaara was with his cactuses. Larry and Terry, she giggled again blushing at the thought of his body pressed against her all night. She had fit like a missing puzzle piece in his body.

Sakura's ears perked up. She could hear through the walls. There was a small crowd gathered outside at the front door of the Kazekage's tower, sounding like reporters.

Their words were muffled, though she could hear words stick out better than others.

Leaf. Dangerous. Sabotage.

She could hear everything. Including silent footsteps and Tōjūrō barking quiet orders. Time to put all nights training to use, she heightened her senses and set out to explore.

An irritated Gaara sat in front of 12 seniors in his office which consisted of the Suna council. They had called an emergency meeting to seemly discuss an "incident" that occurred last night. He sat still as a stone with no emotion. He would rather be in the bed with a certain pink haired woman than surround by these concerned seniors.

The snake Tōjūrō stood, "we have reason to believe that the Hokage of the Hidden Leaf, Kakashi, has sent a ninja to sabotage our village."

Mutters arose from the other council members. All eyes turned to Gaara

Gaara internally growled, what did that snake see last night? Gaara stayed quiet, not wanting to disclose any information.

Tōjūrō waiting for a response from Gaara and getting none cleared his throat in annoyance. "First the Akatsuki show up at our front door and now a signal of green light." He sat back down and watched as the suspicion creeped into the council.

"Akatski. With the leaf? That's a whole new level of low."

"What was that light?"

"You saw it too?"

"Tōjūrō said it could be signaling an attack."

"We need to prepare for war."

"Take the leaf ninja as prisoner!"

"How could the Hidden Leaf Village do this!"

"This could be an act of war!"

"We need to interrogate that Kunoichi."

How could this council jump so quickly to war? Everyone had just gotten out of a war and now they so eagerly want to jump into another one on assumption.

"When did we become paranoid savages?" Gaara's voice was steady which even surprised him. The rage that had built inside of him was growing steadily with their words. "You jump to accusations without having any details concerning the situation."

"Since you know the situation so we'll, enlighten us Gaara." Tōjūrō smile sneaked across his face.

"Kazekage."

"What?"

"You will address me as Kazekage. Nothing less." Gaara crossed him hands. "Council, the events of late have been disturbing given the timing. Though, we have received substantial help from the Village Hidden in the Leaf. Time and time again we have come to their aid and they have come to ours. Why now are we questioning our ally?"

One councilor spoke up, "I agree. We cannot blame the leaf village. This can create an unnecessary feud that will inhibit our trade routes."

Tōjūrō snuck into the conversation, "does that allow us to trust a jonin from the leaf village that gave off a light so bright it could be seen for miles?"

The doors busted open and a hot angry pink haired woman strutted in. Gaara felt warm just looking at her, she looked ready for a fight.

"Do you trust a councilman that sneaks around in the middle of the night spying on his own Kazekage? Creating rumors and feeding them to the people?"

"This is outrage! She is not allowed to be in here! This is a time only for the council members."

"I don't see any council men, I see terrified assholes that want to hide behind doors and not talk to those that are being accused."

Gaara lifted up a nonexistent eye brown. Well isn't she just a firecracker.

Tōjūrō sneered at Sakura, "Young lady, you need to leave."

Sakura lifted herself onto Gaara's office desk facing all of the council members. Swinging her legs. "See this is where I find it odd. I've been listening in to your conversation and it seems you have a problem with your Kazekage. It also seems that there are a couple of members on this council that are conspiring with you. Not to point out anyone." Sakura pointed "its just you, you annddd you." The council member gasped and lifted in outrage.

"You are making high claims for a woman that barged into an important meeting."

"Well, you see. Being a woman and all I have been up for a long time this morning and thought I would look into a couple of your affairs. Since, you and your puppet decided to grace the sand siblings and I last night with your presence I thought it was only fair."

Sakura sashayed her way behind each of the council members until she stood behind Tōjūrō. She gripped the back of his chair tightly so he could not move to face her.

"It was interesting. Hakuto, that's the name of your spy correct?"

"She is not a spy. She is a student I am guiding in growth."

"Oh, so you are guiding her to marry the Kazekage." Sakura sliced the air like butter with her words.

"WHAT?" Gaara said in unison with a now visible Hakuto. She had appeared out of thin hair with a shocked expression listed on her face. Council members were shocked that Hakuto was in the room the entire time listening to their whispers and while invisible reading their notes.

"Hakuto. Didn't your sensi that was oh so amazingly guiding you, tell you? You see I found documents that he had been sending to your family just layyyinggg around his office." Tōjūrō knowing good and damn well they were not laying around. " Arranging you a happy marriage to Gaara of the Sand." Sakura fluttering her eyelashes.

"Tōjūrō what is the meaning of this?" Gaara's irritation seeped through his calm mask he had been trying to wear.

"I would like to know the same. You promised me you would put in a good word for my fiancé and I." Hakuto hissed.

Sakura spun the chair Tōjūrō was in to face her. "Tsk. Tsk. By the looks of that shes not very happy about it. And to think you almost had the Hōki Family under your command."

A saucer of a smile slowly crept on her face. Enjoying every moment of the panic on Tōjūrō face after what he had said to Temari and what she had found out about what he was planning with Gaara.

With a fash Tōjūrō's hand lifted to hit her face. She braced herself for the impact she was too close to move.

Smack!
