Author's Note: Hello everyone! We are now closer to the end of this story….I hope at least.

Now just a reminder the version of Mothra I'm using is the one from Godzilla Tokyo S.O.S, due to a fan vote, however her abilities will not be limited because of this version. She will have multiple powers. Oh and also for size wise she is 25 meters, the same as Mothra Leo's larva form….for now.

Chapter 14: Attack on Infant Island pt. 1.

A few minutes before...

Finally, it stopped.

Zeke was on his hands and knees as he took a couple of breaths, sweat fell from his forehead while Gabara and Gaira looked at him strangely.

"Uh, are you dying or something?' Gabara asked.

Zeke raised his head and looked at them.

"Did...none of you hear that?"

"Heard what?" Gaira asked.

"That song," Zeke slowly stood up, his teeth clenched while he grabbed his hair with his right hand. "That horrible, awful song!"

Gabara raised his eyebrow and leaned towards Gaira.

"I think he's finally lost it," he whispered.

Zeke glared at Gabara and was about to shout at him, but then he heard a voice.

He.

Is.

Near.

He didn't ask who that was or who it was talking about. For some reason he knew.

"Alright you two, listen up," Zeke spoke.

Gabara and Gaira glared at Zeke, now looking like his normal self.

"We are nearing a location were Eren will be heading."

"Really?" Gabara raised his eyebrow again. "And how do you know this oh fearless leader?"

"Gaira!" Zeke ignored Gabara's remark and turned to the Cannibal. "While we head straight, I want you to make a curve right ahead of us, there you will find his allies."

Zeke grabbed Gaira's face and made him look at him.

"You have my permission to eat them all."

Gaira waited a long time to hear those words. He gave the biggest, hungriest smile he had ever given.

"Ooooohhhh, yes sir!"

But before Gaira could leave, Zeke tightened his grip on his face.

"But only his friends, not Eren. Understand?"

Gaira shook his head in haste, and like a hunter letting loose his hound Zeke released his grip and pointed to the jungle. Gaira made no hesitation as he sprinted out in the brush.

Now…

The smoke expanded after the butterflies flew over Kong's head, and the drum started to grow a little louder. For many years since that bloody war they never made a move….but Kong knew they would strike.

As he continued to make his way to the source of the smoke, Kong looked around; there was no signs of any creature big or small.

It seems Kong alone was the only one to dare to go near the source. Given in to caution Kong took several sniffs for any signs of threats.

He looked to his left…nothing.

To his right….noth-wait!

Kong turned around and took a big sniff in the direction of the graveyard….he smelled that human with stank of danger on him…and another stranger….with a similar stench on him.

Kong growled, was this new scent a threat? Would this stranger try to harm her?

He turned and glared the smoke.

Kong will deal with them later. This new stranger has to be delt with first.

With that Kong turned his back to the smoke and made his way back.

"But first, you didn't happen to hear a song. A song playing in your head, did you?"

Eren took a step back at the sight of this man and from his appearance from his beard and glasses, he knew who that was. "Your, Zeke."

Zeke smiled a little, "So you do know me. Good I wondered if Sanda told you about me, how is he anyway?"

Eren was about to bite his left hand when Zeke raised both hands like he was surrendering.

"Eren please, I'm not going to hurt you. I just want to talk to you."

Eren paused. From the info that Sanda gave him, he knew Zeke has the Beast Titan…and he's also his brother, his farther's first son, but a soldier for Marley. He might be luring him into a trap, or might he could be distracting him from something…maybe he knows about Mo-

'Listen.'

The voice returns again as Eren lowered him hand.

"Alright, what do you want?"

Zeke smiled then his expression turned natural. "No doubt Sanda told you all about Marley, and whatever our farther told you."

Eren glared at him. "Sanda and Ymir told us enough about Marely. About what they have done to us, about making us all suffer for crime that are ancestors made and yet we are still paying for it!"

'Calm.'

Eren took a deep breath. His glare lessened, but only a little.

"And how Marley has been slowing taking over the world with their own Titan shifters." Eren scoffed

"Very hypocritical don't you think?"

"Hmm, you know I never thought of that before," Zeke answered. "Still, given all the horrors that our ancestors have done I doubt anyone would find it in their hearts to forgive the people of Eldia."

"Making us their weapons and condemning us to live for 13 years will be near close to atonement."

Eren clenched both fists but chose to stay calm while looking around the area again.

"Speaking about that," Eren started. "Aren't you supposed to be dead? Eaten by your replacement?"

Zeke nodded. "Yes, under normal circumstances that would be the case. But that all changes thanks to Poor Berholdt."

Eren was shocked by this. "Is-is he?"

"No, he is quite dead" Zeke answered. "But Reiner and I did recover a sample of his flesh for study. It was fascinating actually. His blood and tissue where completely mutated. Took some time and risk but the results speak for themselves. It allowed me to delay the downsides of Ymir's curse, as well as the latest edition of Sanda, Gaira and Gabara."

"So what? Marely has more like them?" Eren asked as he started to lower his guard slightly.

Zeke shook his head. "Sadly, no. Thanks to your monsters, Marley only has three Titan shifters."

Zeke was not that all surprised at seeing the smile on Eren's face.

"Good. It's the least they deserve."

"Oh, Eren," Zeke took a couple of steps towards him. "You don't know the consequence of that."

Immediately Eren put his left hand close to his mouth, thus making Zeke stop in his tracks.

"Then explain it, Zeke! Tell me why should I care?"

"The Kaiju."

Eren rasied his eyebrow. "What about them?"

"No doubt, however you got here, you've noticed that these creatures don't exist just on Paradis."

"New Eldia," Eren corrected him. "We call it New Eldia now."

Zeke chuckled a little.

"I see. Back to the subject; What I'm about to tell you is a great Marley secret and by simply mentioning it I would be condemned to death if any one overheard this."

Eren lowered his hand again but kept it by his chin.

"50 years ago, The Marley government discovered fossilized bones of great size, as well as an old parchment dating back to the days of the Founder Ymir. It was a prophecy told to King Fritz by two witches saying that 5,000 years from now, every Kaiju sleeping deep in oceans and earth will awaken, including the ones that sleep under Marley itself. Mankind will fall to the original owners of the planet."

"Ever since this discovery the Marleyan Government has kept this a secret. They've been preparing themselves for the moment that day arrives. They had time on their side….at least they used too, but then the Kaiju on Pardise woke up early."

Eren did not want to believe him, but his words had a ring of truth to it. Perhaps it was due to The Crystal Titan's emergence that caused them all to awaken?

"Now the monsters are 3,000 years premature, and Marely is unprepared. One by one there have been reports of different Kaiju appearing in different countries. Some blame it on your 'New Eldia.' Makes for good propaganda."

"So, what are you planning?" Eren asked while staying alert.

Zeke stayed still while keeping eye contact with Eren.

"First I believed by using the technology and the minds of the Nebulans would help us and-"

"What!?" Eren gasped. He recalled that Fumio and Kubuto escaped while he was fighting their Queen. "They survived?"

Then he glared back at Zeke. "AND YOU'RE ALIGNED WITH THEM!?"

"Given my observation of their technological marvels, it would be foolish not take advantage. But I'm not a fool, Eren. That is why I thought for some time on a new way... and I have found it."

"By reexamining Bertholdt's mutated remains I've discovered a way to enhance not only my Titan form, but others as well. With your help..."

Zeke moved much closer to Eren who still kept his hand away from his mouth until Zeke stood over him.

"I plan to turn all Eldians into enhanced Titans to combat the coming Kaiju horde."

Complete horror covered Eren's face.

"What?"

Then terror was replaced by pure rage.

"WHY THE HELL WOULD I HELP YOU WITH THIS MAD IDEA!?"

Zeke said nothing as Eren continued.

"AFTER EVERYTHING THAT YOU AND YOUR PRECIOUS MARELY HAS PUT US THROUGH, PUNISHING US FOR SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO THAT WE DON'T EVEN REMEMBER, AND NOW YOU EXPECT ME TO HELP YOU CONDEMN EVERY MAN, WOMAN, AND CHILD INTO TITANS!?"

Eren panted as angry tears fell from his frustrated face while Zeke looked at him with pity.

"If all the Kaiju awaken, then all of humanity will be wiped out."

Eren breathed heavily and spoke, his voice hoarse from his outburst.

"We have means to communicate with them, we can-"

"Perhaps the ones on Par...hmph. New Eldia," Zeke interrupted. "But the monsters there are small in number compared to all the others hidden around the world. You've already observed that the world is far larger than you realized. Do you honestly think that you could stop a whole swarm of them?"

Eren was about to answer back, but then remembered why he and his friends left on the Gotengo in the beginning. Despite their pack, the kaiju under Rodan are making things difficult for everyone. If what Zeke says is true, can they really control every one of them around the world?

"Eren?"

Eren looked back at Zeke, now right in front of him, looking down at him like his farther used to do.

"Sometimes, for the good of the many, we have to make the hard choices. I wish it didn't have to be this way, but I'm afraid we're running out of time."

Noticing that Eren didn't raise his hand to his mouth again Zeke saw his chance to achieve his goal. It seemed to be a cruel move on his part, if only he had time to convince Eren about his original idea to prevent all Eldians from having children and sparing them this living hell. But just like he said to Eren, they were running out of time

All he had to do was place a single hand on his brother's head like any good older brother would do, and then-

Suddenly the ground shook wildly, knocking them both away from each other as a cloud of dust covered them. Zeke stood up and the first thing he saw was a large hairy fist on the ground in front of him. He looked up at its owner, and at the face of the angry ape looking down at him.

"Man, how can we not stay together for like 5 seconds before one of us leaves?"

Sanda had to agree with Randy on that as they ventured out the cave while the others stayed to look inside, just in case if Eren was still there.

"H-h-h-he co-co-couldn't have gone f-f-far," Sanda stated.

"Well, I just hope old three-heads isn't in his brain too," Randy said, then stopped in his tracks. "Wait a second….what if when he ate Ghidorah's middle head, he was secretly altering or manipulating Eren this whole time?"

Sanda looked at Randy like he had grew a second head.

"Oh, come on! In a world where people can turn into Titans, an Island that has a giant electric ape, and a God caterpillar you think my theory's strange?"

Sanda was about to argue but thought about it for a second and just chose to keep walking until they reached the cave entrance. They spotted a figure waiting for them.

"Hey Eren," Randy waved. "What gives man?"

He was about to run to him when Sanda placed his hand in front of him stopping him. Randy turned to Sanda and was surprised by mixed look of fear and anger.

"That's n-n-not Eren," He said.

Randy looked at the entrance and sure enough it wasn't Eren. In fact, he looked a little bit like Sanda except with green hair.

"Well, well, well," Gaira smiled showing is sharp teeth. "Looks like he was right on the money."

"Randy," Sanda said.

Randy looked at Sanda.

"G-g-get the-the others."

"Go get him big guy!" Randy said as he quickly ran back in the cave leaving the brothers facing each other.

"Wh-what have y-y-y-you done to E-e-eren?" Sanda said raising his hand carefully to his mouth.

"Really? Three years and you still have that speech problem?" Gaira chuckled. "And not even a 'hello brother, how have you been?' I thought we were closer than that."

Sanda scanned the area for any signs of Gabara, Zeke, or any Titans.

"As for that other Yeager, well...his own brother is going to deal with him and I get to have my dinner!"

Gaira licked his lips.

"G-g-g-gaira, p-p-please," Sanda plead. "D-d-don't do th-th-this."

Gaira shook his head.

"Oh Sanda, you know I can't help it. After all, we're devils after all," he lifted his hand to his ring.

"AND I'M HUNGRY!"

At once, both brothers transformed. Immediately the two Gargantuas Titans leapt at each other in combat.

The sound of the battle could be heard inside the cave while the group pulled out their blades for any attack, the only ones not reacting were the Elias. Moll and Lora didn't charge in as they calmly walked down the steps to join the others.

"What's going on?" Armin said just as Randy joined them.

"Guys!" Randy said catching his breath.

"Sanda's evil twin just arrived, no doubt those two having some brotherly bonding right now!"

Mikasa and Jean (His brain returned to working order) joined with Armin and Randy.

"Is Eren with them?" Mikasa asked.

"No, didn't see the guy," Randy answered.

"Still if Gaira is here than the others must not be far behind," Jean said.

Armin nodded. "Right, first we got to help Sanda and-"

Cheernt!

Everyone looked up as Mothra, now fully emerged from her egg, crawled down from her ziggurat. All the Elias stood on her right side, fell to their knees, and bowed as she passed them while Moll and Lora walked to the group. They too bowed softly as Mothra passed by them and made her way out.

"Don't worry," Moll said, causing the group to look at her.

The twin's eyes were glowing blue again and their faces seemed calm despite the crisis.

"Sanda will be saved," Lora added. "So will Gaira."

"What do you mean by that?" Jean asked.

"Perhaps instead of asking we should see for ourselves," Dayo said, walking past them.

Mikasa followed soon. Armin and Randy looked at Jean as they shrugged and followed. Jean sighed as he followed too.

"Now I'm following a worm….I can't believe I miss the days were I was fighting Titans."

"So, this is the Thunder Guardian?" Zeke stared up at the kaiju ape as it lifted his fist.

Zeke glanced at Eren. He was surprised that he didn't run away. Then his thoughts were interrupted as Kong roared down at him.

'I don't have time for this,' Zeke thought.

He turned to the foliage and shouted, "ATTACK HIM!"

The jungle shook, causing Kong to look at the distance, thus allowing Zeke to quickly move away just as 10 of his enhanced Titans ran out to attack the colossal ape. Kong glared at the oncoming threat, looked down, and picked up a femur bone and immediately smacked the first Titan that came at him. More followed suite after another.

Normally Eren would transform right now and aid Kong, but strangely something was keeping him for transforming, let alone running. Something to do with sound of drums that filled his head.

But then Eren felt a strong grip around his mouth and chest. He shifted his eyes to see his captor, Gabara.

"You move too slow, Yeager!" Gabara said keeping his grip tight. "Didn't the Corps teach you anything?"

They both caught sight of a familiar flash of light in the direction that Eren left.

"Well," Gabara smiled wickedly. "Looks like your friends about to have dinner with one of mine."

The Gargantuan brothers hands gripped with one another as one tried to push the other. Sanda winced as his brother's claws dug deep into his knuckles, but he kept pushing his brother back, succeeding in slamming him into the cave wall. Gaira retaliated by trying to chomp at Sanda's face, but the other reacted by headbutting the jaw and successfully knocking him down to the stone floor.

Just as he fell, Gaira dug his left hand in the ground and tossed some loose stones at Sanda, but he managed to block the attack. With his other hand Gaira punched Sanda's gut, knocking the wind out of him and allowing Gaira to jump back up to tackle him down.

The momentum of Gaira's lunge caused the two to tumble over each other, rolling down the ancient staircase and down the mountain. Gaira managed stick his landing, his brother not so lucky. Sanda fell directly into a pile of bones, impaling himself upon landing.

Quickly, Gaira kept Sanda on his back by stomping his right foot on his chest and his other foot on his left arm, crushing it. Gaira lunged at his brother's face, but his neck was grabbed tightly by Sanda's free hand.

"SANDA!" Eren yelled as he took notice of the conflict in the woods

Eren struggled to break free, but Gabara was too strong. A quick pull and knee to the kidney kept Eren restrained.

"No, no, no!" Gabara said in a sick gleeful tone, "That's a private affair, you stay out of it."

Gabara twisted Eren's face, forcing him to watch Zeke oversee the Titan onslaught on Kong.

"You have your own family issues to work out right now."

Both brothers fates were locked, either one could kill the other right now. All Gaira had to do was wait until his brother's strength gives out, but Sanda…all he has to do is crush his brother's throat...but how could he?

Despite everything he did, all the atrocities he has committed, the joy he took in it….Sanda couldn't kill his own brother...

"AAAAW," Gaira smiled. "POOR BROTHER."

...And Gaira knew that.

"WON'T KILL OWN BROTHER. FOR FRIENDS?"

Sanda tried to drown out Gaira's words as he kept his grip tight, but was shocked as his foes claws inched closer to his face.

"I. WON'T. KILL. MY. BROHTER!" Sanda roared.

Gaira chuckled.

"AFTER YOU DIE," Gaira snarled. "YOUR GIRL DIES NEXT."

Before Sanda could react to that threat, Gaira's claws grabbed his face and pierced his forehead and cheeks, yet despite that Sanda didn't crush Gaira's throat as his brother neared his own.

"DINNER TIME!"

Cheernt!

All at once the brothers paused their battle as Mothra crawled down the massive stairs and stopped to look at the two Titan brothers.

Sanda's eyes widened in fear. What is it doing here? Doesn't it realize the danger it's in? While Gaira, on the other hand, spotted this new creature with a mix of human and morbid curiosity.

Gaira let go of Sanda's face and used his claws to slice off the arm holding his throat. The now free Gaira charged at the Larva.

Sanda tried to let out a roar to the recently hatched kaiju to leave as his hungry brother neared the creature.

Mothra simply raised her head at the oncoming Green Titan as he approached. She opened her mouth and a torrent of silk sprayed out onto the green gargantua.

'What is this?' Gaira thought. 'This thing thinks it can-'

Just as the first strand of silk touched his flesh it started to sizzle, and then came the feeling of burning.

Gaira screamed in pain as Mothra continued her attack, not stopping even as the Green Titan collapsed on the ground. Finally, Sanda's Titan body healed. He stood up and was shocked and amazed that his brother was being defeated by this small kaiju.

Yet, Sanda could not help to see his brother in so much pain. Was Mothra trying to kill him?

On his knees Gaira turned his head with tears in his eyes as he raised his nearly silk covered arm to his brother as the tormenting pain continues.

"HELP ME, PLEASE! BROTHER!"

Sanda couldn't stand to see his brother going through this, no matter what. After what they've been thought in the past, his brother had suffered enough.

"Please," Sanda walked towards Mothra as she nearly cocooned his brother. He raised his hand, motioning her to stop. "Please, stop."

Just as Sanda took a step closer, Mothra turned her head and started spraying Sanda. He roared in pain as the silk started to burn his Titan body. Despite this he looked to his brother, to his shock saw him unmoving and almost completely covered in the silk.

As Mothra kept her attack on the brothers, all Sanda could do was try and spare his brother from feeling more of the pain as he tried to shield his brother from the never ending attack just as the others arrived.

"Sanda!" Jean shouted, seeing his comrade seemingly being attacked by this worm.

"I thought the worm was on our side!" Randy shouted.

Mikasa, Arimn, and Jean each pulled out their blades and ready to save their friend but then Dayo stood in their way.

"Stop!" Dayo cried. "You don't understand!"

"Get out of our way!" Armin said. "She's attacking our friend!"

"No, she isn't."

They turned to the twins just as they were existing the cave, their eyes still glowing blue.

"Moll, are you being controlled by that bug?" Jean asked. "Look what it is doing to him!"

"Sanda will be fine," Moll insisted. "As well as his brother."

Before anyone else could argue, the screaming stopped. They turned back to see the Larva closing her mouth and staring at a large steaming cocoon that slowly started to deflate like a balloon. What appears to be balls of white smoke flouting up with the steam until it vanished from sight

Mothra turned her head to face the group up on the mountain, while Mikasa, Jean, and Armin raised their blades, Moll and Lora walked in front of them as they stared at her.

Mothra nodded and started to crawl away from the cocoon. Moll instantly activated her 3D Gear, landed on top of the cocoon and started pulling some of the silk with her hands until she grabbed a hand and pulled Sanda (In human form) out.

"He's alive!" Armin smiled as he and the others used their gear and made their way to the cocoon as well.

Moll held onto Sanda's sleeping form and shook him slightly. "Sanda?"

"Sanda are you alright?" with a groan he opened his eyes to see Moll's smiling face looking down on him.

"M-Moll?" He said weakly. "I-I feel. I-i-I feel…fine?"

Indeed, as he looked at his hands there were no signs of scars, burns, or bruises. He felt and looked fine.

Then the sounds of sobbing could be heard near them as Lora finally made her way there and began tearing the silk to reveal an also human Gaira curled up in a fetal position, sobbing.

Mikasa and Jean raised their blades, but Lora raised her hand at them.

"There's no need for that anymore."

"Lora, have you forgotten what he did?" Armin argued. "He's dangerous."

"Not anymore," She replied as Sanda, with Moll helping him up, started walking to his crying brother.

"G-g-Gaira?"

Gaira stopped and looked up; his eye's red from crying. His face that once belonged to a mad cannibal was now like a scared child.

As Sanda leaned towards him, Gaira immediately pulled him…into a hug as he cried into Sanda's right shoulder.

"I'm sorry!" Gaira cried. "Oh god those people, I'm so sorry brother!"

Needless to say, that everyone minus Dayo, Moll and Lora were in complete shock.

"Okay, what the hell just happened!" Jean shouted.

Moll and Lora stood side by side looking at Mothra venturing into the jungle.

"She healed them," The twins said holding their hands together.

Sanda looked down at Gaira, barley believing that for a few minutes ago. This crying wreck tried to eat him and as Sanda continued to ponder this, he started feeling a sense that a great weight was lifted from him.

"I...I saw them," Gaira sobbed. "Inside the webbing, I saw them. The faces of everyone I...I...I could feel them. Their fear, their pain. All of it...all at once..."

Sanda looked back at Mothra.

'What did she do to us?' he thought.

"Uh, guys," Randy said finally joining up with them.

"In case anyone didn't notice, I think the worm got a little bit bigger."

One Titan fell and another took its place.

No matter how many Kong struck down, more attack at all angles. Some of the smaller ones started gnawing at his legs while one jumped on his back, and still Kong wouldn't go down. Many foes better then these things have tired and he would show them who's king on this island.

But never had he faced such a mass of enemies.

"Impressive," Zeke scratched his beard as he watched.

He was impressed with this beast's determination to keep fighting despite being outnumbered.

This was demonstrated as he watched Kong shoved the bone down one Titan's throat and preceded to lift the bone, with the Titan still attached, and used it to wack the rest.

Zeke raised his hand towards his mouth.

"Let's see how he does with me."

As Kong knocked down another Titan down, he moved to strike another only to be blinded by a flash of light, making him shield his eyes.

Finally, the light ceased. As Kong uncovered his face, he saw standing right before him another large furry creature, but this one had longer arms and small glowing rocks on its shoulder.

"I wonder," Zeke said to the shocked ape. "Can you see any resemblance?"

Kong knew that this one, like the other he saw, wasn't a member of his kind. Still this creature looked nearly dead on like him….and that only managed to infuriate him.

HRAAAAAAAAH-AH!

With an enraged roar Kong dropped the bone and charged in fury at this pretender, a few Titans clinging to his body. Kong reared back his left fist, ready to slam it at the pretender's face. Sadly, due to his blind fury Kong failed to see the pretender quickly raise his right arm and gave Kong a slap/slash combo.

The result of this attack not only knocked Kong down but the Crystal Beast Titan's claws left deep cuts on his chest and right cheek. As soon as Kong hit the ground, up to 10 of the enhanced Pure Titans dog-piled on top of him. Despite this, coupled with the pain, Kong tried to fight back.

"Hmm, you got spirit I give you that," Zeke watched as the Ape Kaiju tries and fails to get up.

Zeke turned his gaze away from Kong and set upon Eren, still in Gabara's hold.

'Funny, why hasn't Eren tried to help this kaiju? Or at the very least tried to escape?'

As Zeke studied Eren, he noticed that Eren's face showed confliction as if he wants to help Kong or just watch.

'Eren, what has happened to you?'

Cheernt!

All at once, Zeke felt a chill run down his spin, his palm's sweating and his body slightly shaking at that sound.

Eren's face changed from confliction to pure fear, while Kong continued his struggle. Mothra crawled out and onto the graveyard and stopped to look at the combatants.

"Is that a worm?" Gabara said looking at the strange new kaiju.

Then he felt Eren trying to wiggle out.

"What the-Oh now you want to escape huh?" Gabara held on tight, but Eren kept on thrashing.

"Let go damn it!" Eren cried. "I got to get away from her!" He said desperately, surprising both Gabara, Zeke, and himself.

Gabara chuckled. "What's this? Scared of a worm now?"

Zeke looked back at Eren and then back at Mothra. 'Why would Eren be afraid of this creature? And…why am I feeling ...a little freaked out right now?"

All at once a realization came to him. No-it couldn't be. This creature couldn't be the….

'Better make sure.'

"Kill it!" Zeke ordered to the rest of the Enhanced Pure Titans hidden behind him as he pointed to the larva.

All at once 10 more Titans started running towards Mothra. Kong tries to again to stand but the Titans on top of him prevented this.

Gabara chuckled again as he kept Eren still.

"Well, you won't have to worry about that worm soon, you big baby. Because by the looks of things, it's going to be ripped apart."
