Yup, setting up Nanashi to be ready for Apocalypse. There will definitely be a strange being trying to influence him like Apocalypse. Can't say more though. If you've seen a certain Yugioh anime you could probably guess.
Chapter 27 Worlds Apart
The prentices were all strapped down to beds as men in black gasped masks walked over to them. They held jars of Fusion Parasites using tweezers to get them out.
"The signers really are monsters…to think it took getting them high off their asses to capture them.", one of the masked men commented.
"That's why Master Tayama is interested in them. If we can control these guys we'll be invincible especially since they can control the signer dragons without mediums.", masked man 2 replied.
"Hey, stop chatting and stick those things in them before they wake up!", masked man 3 ordered.
As they got close to them with the Fusion Parasites their marks suddenly glowed fiercely. The masked men flinched, spooked, nearly dropping the Fusion Parasites. The signers started to sweat intensely and Navarre simply snored. They became more scared as they heard the unmistakable roar of the Crimson Dragon followed by three other roars.
"Oh fuck!", masked man 2 cursed.
The four signer's eyes suddenly snapped open, glowing a fierce red aura appeared around them.
In Tayama's office he suddenly felt a severe earthquake before hastily looking out his window. The top of the underground facility was on the surface with smoke rising from it. He paled as he saw the massive figure of the Crimson Dragon coming out of the massive hole in the ground. It roared as crimson flames swirled around it burning away all the Fusion Parasites including the big one which screamed in pain.
"Tayama! You will be judged!", the Crimson Dragon's voice boomed as Tayama gawked completely speechless.
Hallelujah shook in fear, wetting his pants at the sight as he dropped the bottle of alcohol he was carrying for Tayama.
"Get that thing now!", Tayama ordered, over the phone.
Countless members of the Asura Kai poured out with the Meklord spirits by their sides. They all fired at the massive dragon who simply swatted them away like bugs.
"Oh my…", Hallelujah said shakily, paling as he saw his fellow Asura Kai become mere smeers on the pavement.
"Get out of here, kid!", Tayama barked.
"But-", Hallelujah said.
"I said go! You need to go now in case that monster brings the roof off this place!", Tayama ordered.
Hallelujah looked at Tayama nervously nodding before he left as he ordered.
"Where the fuck is Black-Winged Dragon?! Release that monster Black Rose Dragon on it! I don't care!", Tayama ordered angrily on the phone.
"They've been stolen…both of them are now in the hands of the Ring of Gaea…", the Asura Kai member on the phone said before he screamed in pain and there was a loud snap.
"Hiiiii! Tayama!", Hikaru said, cheerfully and Tayama paled.
"You bitch!", Tayama cursed angrily.
"Looks like you only have Clear Wing Synchro Dragon and Ancient Fairy Dragon left! Be sure not to lose them too!", Hikaru said as Tayama growled.
"I'll kill you…", Tayama said.
"You should say that after you survive the fury of Ultimitl Bishbaalkin. See you if you live! Bye bye!", Hikaru replied.
Navarre paled, watching from behind the massive dragon.
"Guys…? Flynn?", Navarre questioned, getting no response.
They were all in a trance, but not from the Fusion Parasites instead from the Crimson Dragon. He was especially concerned since Flynn was inside the heart of the dragon. The red aura around him had suddenly erupted into the Crimson Dragon.
"If I didn't know that this thing was supposed to be an angel I would think it was demonic…", Navarre thought.
Jonathan and Walter's dragons appeared alongside Stardust Dragon who was already out. It was close to Flynn in the heart of the dragon acting as an extra shield.
Tayama hastily pulled a silver medium that looked like a bell.
"Come out, you dog! Save me!", Tayama ordered.
Before he could even blink, Clear Wing was already there scowling at him.
"Down, boy! You're not fighting that thing now. You need to get me out of here.", Tayama ordered.
Clear Wing scoffed before Tayama waved the bell again and the dragon covered its ears growling. As the bell was rung a strange green symbol on it glowed brightly.
"Fine…", Clear Wing said, reluctantly.
Tayama got in Clear Wing's back and the dragon hastily took off, nearly dropping him.
"H-hey!", Tayama shouted.
"My bad…", Clear Wing replied sarcastically as Tayama growled.
Clear Wing looked down, seeing a purple dragon watching in the distance. Their eyes met for a moment.
"What are you still doing here?", Clear Wing thought.
"Heh. How amusing to see, sister on a tight leash like some common pet. These Samurai are interesting. It looks like this will be rather crippling for the Asura Kai. Oh well…not my problem. I guess my spy work is done now…", the purple dragon said.
It was both purple and green and littered with strange orbs on its body. It had green eyes and curved devil-like horns. On its back where wings would normally be was carnivorous plants.
All the Asura Kai that faced the Crimson Dragon were completely squashed flat. After Tayama got away it dissipated and Stardust Dragon flew down cradling Flynn's body in its arms. They signers were all back to normal now and Flynn's eyes creeped open.
"Where am I? What happened?!", Flynn questioned.
"You turned into the Crimson Dragon!", Navarre said.
"Hoy, you don't have to be so loud! My ears are already ringing!", Walter said.
Flynn's vision was starting to clear up as he saw an oddly familiar blob through his vision. The other prentices gasped in shock. Stardust Dragon roared threatenly and Flynn rapidly blinked to clear his vision.
"Issachar…?", Flynn questioned, in confusion at the cold gaze he was met with.
Flynn forced himself to his feet letting out a relieved sigh at seeing him. The others were a bit wary having told Walter earlier about what happened.
"You found us! I'm so glad! Did Lilith's allies do anything to you?", Flynn said, smiling brightly.
However, he was met with silence making his confusion grow.
"Issachar…?", Flynn questioned, starting to worry he hadn't won fast enough.
He didn't understand why Issachar was not responding to him or why he didn't look happy to see him. Issachar suddenly pointed at the stunned Flynn.
"Duel me…", Issachar demanded.
"What? Right now?! This isn't e-", Flynn was saying.
Issachar raised his gauntlet to him, activating it. His deep frown suddenly turned into a smirk making Flynn's blood run cold.
"Wait!", Flynn said as concern soared within him.
"Are you going to duel or not? Or is the one who defeated my master a coward?", Issachar questioned.
"No…", Jonathan said and the others grimaced.
"T-that can't be! I saved you! Please tell me this is a joke Issachar!", Flynn said as he waved his hands.
"Hah! You really had way too much faith in that weakling Issachar! He failed you and you failed him!", Issachar replied.
Issachar tried to mask the pain in his heart when he saw Flynn's horrified expression.
"Flynn…", Isabeau said, putting her hand on his shoulder wearily, especially as the black aura flickered around Flynn dangerously.
The others looked extremely worried seeing this.
"Issachar can't be gone! I saved him!", Flynn said as his fists shook.
"And despite that like your parents you let him slip through your fingers again.", Issachar said.
The prentices gawked in disbelief at Issachar's words. However Isabeau gaze landed on Flynn's who's shoulders shook intensely. Flynn growled lowly practically hissing at Issachar. The latter tried to hold in how surreal it felt to be the target of Flynn's anger. He knew well that cut Flynn deep.
"You….", Flynn said as the intense red glow returned to his eyes.
"How about we make this interesting? If I win I will take Beelze off your hands! Someone as weak as you isn't worthy of it!", Issachar said.
Flynn hastily activated his gauntlet.
"When I win I'll destroy you…slowly!", Flynn said angrily.
"Flynn snap out of it!", Isabeau said.
"I thought he got exorcised!", Navarre said fearfully.
Internally Issachar felt nervous seeing Flynn like this. It wasn't the real him at all.
"Wait, Flynn!", Jonathan said.
"Duel!", Flynn and Issachar said.

"I draw!", Flynn said as a thick black aura surrounded him.

Issachar was stunned to see the amount of power just his normal draw gave off.
"I activate Tuning allowing me to add a Synchron monster to my hand then I send the top card of my deck to the graveyard!", Flynn said.
The card sent was Plaguespreader Zombie which made Flynn smirk menacingly. Issachar did not like this at all. It was like when he dueled Nathan, but worse.
"I activate Pot of Greed allowing me to draw two cards!", Flynn said.

"I've never seen Flynn this pissed off before…", Walter commented, completely stunned.
"He was like this against Lilith but…how could it happen again?! Beelze is sealed!", Jonathan questioned.
"I summon Zombie Master and I use its effect to discard a card to special summon a level 4 or higher zombie monster from my graveyard! I choose Plaguespreader Zombie!", Flynn said.

"Now, I tune Plaguespreader Zombie with Zombie Master! Cerulean beast that prowls through the night! Here's some prey for you to dine on! Synchro summon! Level 6! Celestial Wolf Lord, Blue Sirius!", Flynn chanted.
"Now, I activate the effect of the Mezuki I sent to the graveyard allowing me to special summon Zombie Master from my graveyard! Now, I activate Monster Reborn allowing me to resurrect Plaguespreader!", Flynn said.

The tuner was shaking very wary to see Flynn like this again.
"I tune Plaguespreader Zombie with Zombie Master once more! Ruler of darkness slumbering within the depths! Rise up once more to reclaim your kingdom! Synchro summon! Level 6! Revived King Ha Des!", Flynn chanted.
"He's going really crazy now…", Walter commented, realizing he still had Plaguespreader's effect.
"Then I will activate Plaguespreader's effect to return a card from my hand to the top of the deck to special summon him!", Flynn said.

"Flynn summon Stardust Dragon! Not that evil dragon!", Isabeau said, but Flynn ignored him.
"Ignore her…this is the key to true power!", said the voice of the shadowy Flynn who appeared over his shoulder.
The glow in Flynn's eyes became more vibrant.
"We need to crush him completely and leave nothing left. That's what he deserves for taking Issachar from us.", the shadowy Flynn whispered in his ears.
"Crush him…crush him…!", Flynn thought as he roared.
However, Isabeau grabbed his hand.
"Wake up don't forget yourself! Don't you remember what you told me on the roof?", Isabeau said.
Hikaru snickered from on top of the building she watched from as the aura around Flynn lessened. He looked down as the memories of those days he spent with Isabeau flickered through his mind again.
Flashback
Flynn stared up at the ceiling as he laid in bed. There was so much going on to process. But, he felt…he wanted a future with Isabeau and his fellows. So, he needed to do everything in his power to protect everyone without losing himself to the darkness inside him.
"I need to live up to their expectations for me. I need to be stronger not just when it comes to dueling but internally too.", Flynn thought as he looked down at his deck.
Doomkaiser Dragon was on top as usual. Flynn wondered how he felt about his recent duels. He thought his ace must surely be disappointed that the boy he protected acted in such a way.
"I need to be better for them too. To be worthy of being their Lord.", Flynn thought, before he turned over to go to sleep.
Flashback end
The glow in Flynn's eyes lessened till it disappeared. Issachar took a mental sigh of relief when Flynn regained himself.
"Lord Flynn!", Plaguespreader Zombie said, relieved.
"I'm sorry about that…I need to be better than this. I tune Plaguespreader Zombie with Revived King Ha Des! Majestic dragon, awaken from your long slumber your power is needed once again to protect the innocent! Spread your brilliant silver wings and strike down your enemies like a vibrant shooting star! Synchro summon! Level 8! Stardust Dragon!", Flynn said.
An intense wind blew around Flynn as Stardust Dragon emerged with a roar.
"I will set two cards and end my turn.", Flynn said.
"Pathetic…", Issachar said.
"What?!", Flynn questioned.
"You're incredibly weak as expected! A real duelist would have seized that power! I draw!", Issachar said.

"I activate Heavy Storm destroying all spell and trap card on the field!", Issachar said.

"What?! That's op!", Walter complained as Flynn raised up his arms as a tornado blew towards his facedown cards.
"I activate the effect of Stardust Dragon! He tributes himself to protect my cards! Victim Sanctuary!", Flynn countered.
"I activate the effect of Vice Dragon allowing me to special summon it when you control a monster, but I don't however it's stats are halved!", Issachar said.

"I summon Dark Resonator.", Issachar said.

"I tune Dark Resonator with Vice Dragon! Dragon of pure darkness slumbering within the depths of shadow! Arise and burn down everything that opposes me! Level 8! Dark End Dragon!", Issachar chanted.
The dragon of darkness roared at Blue Sirius who roared back.
"I will set a card.", Issachar said.

"I will attack Blue Sirius with Dark End Dragon! Dark Soul Cannon!", Issachar declared.
The dragon fired a dark beam at the other synchro monster annihilating it. Flynn stumbled surprised by the strength of the impact.

"The effect of Blue Sirius activates, allowing me to target one monster you control and make it lose 2400! Lunar Blood Curse!", Flynn countered.
The dragon lowered its head as its power was sapped away.
Dark End Dragon ATK 2600 - 2400 = 200
"I end my turn.", Issachar said.
"Stardust Dragon rises again during the end phase! Arise! Stardust Dragon!", Flynn said as his dragon returned.
"That monster is just as annoyingly persistent as you are.", Issachar said.
"I won't give up on this duel. Even if I can't save Issachar I can still defeat you! I draw!", Flynn said.

"Then I'll attack your dragon with Stardust Dragon! Shooting Sonic!", Flynn declared.
"I activate my trap Draining Shield your attack is negated and I gain life points equal to the attack!", Issachar countered.
A shield appeared in front of Issachar's dragon shielding and absorbing its attack.

"I end my turn.", Flynn said.
"Is that really all you got? I draw!", Issachar said.

"Then, I will attack your facedown with Horus!", Issachar declared.
"I activate Mirror Force.", Flynn countered, stunning them.
"Isn't it a bit early for that? He will have Stardust Dragon on his next turn.", Navarre questioned.
"It was a good call. If he didn't Horus would have leveled up and Flynn would be locked out of spell cards right now.", Isabeau explained.
"Another dangerous card…if Issachar got to summon that then Flynn couldn't activate Zombie World.", Walter replied.
"I end my turn.", Issachar said his field is now wide open.
"Nice, now Flynn can end this during his next turn after this!", Walter said.
"During the end phase Stardust Dragon returns. Arise! Stardust Dragon!", Flynn said.
Isabeau let out the breath she held in. Flynn can end this soon.
"This is the beginning of the end! I draw!", Flynn said as an intense wind kicked up from his draw.

"I summon Malevolent Mech - Goku En! Then, I will flip up my Pyramid Turtle!", Flynn said.

"I shall attack you directly with Pyramid Turtle!", Flynn declared.

"I activate Gorz the Emissary of Darkness from my hand! When I'm attacked directly while I have no cards on the field I can special summon it and a token equal to the damage I took.", Issachar countered.

"Excuse me, what?!", Jonathan questioned wide eyed.
"That's like an upgraded Battle Fader!", Walter said.
"I will attack your token with Goku En! Azure Inferno! Then, I will set Stardust Dragon to defense mode and end my turn.", Flynn said.
"Heh. That's all you can do. I draw!", Issachar said.

" I will attack Stardust Dragon with Gorz! And this time he won't rise!", Issachar declared.

Flynn watched Stardust Dragon fade into particles his only bit of effect negation in his deck. He looked back over to Pyramid Turtle.
"I end my turn.", Issachar said.
"He must have more destruction effects lying in wait. That's why he prioritized Stardust Dragon over dealing me damage. Also he's probably worried about me being able to Synchro summon again.", Flynn thought.
"What's wrong praying already?", Issachar taunted.
"Hardly. Just thinking.", Flynn replied.
"No matter what plan you concoct you cannot defeat absolute power.", Issachar replied.
"Training and practice is far superior to your blood cards.", Flynn replied, harshly.
"If that's truly so then why did Issachar lose?", Issachar questioned, feeling weird about talking about himself in the third person.
Flynn put his fist over his heart.
"Lilith also had skill as well. She had everything planned out. That I could tell.", Flynn replied.
"Then, you really are doomed. I have both as well.", Issachar replied.
"I beat Lilith and I'll beat you too! I draw!", Flynn sa.

"I can't beat that monster with Catastor since it's a dark monster. That leaves…", Flynn thought as he sweated nervously.
He briefly looked back at his fellows as he hesitated.
"It's fine. Go ahead. Your in your right mind right now.", Isabeau said.
"Give him hell!", Walter cheered.
"We believe in you Flynn! You can beat that evil!", Jonathan said as he raised his fist.
"If he wants the card so bad he'll have to beat it first!", Navarre said.
"Alright…", Flynn said as he took a deep breath.
He gripped his top card tightly.
"I summon Plaguespreader Zombie.", Flynn said.

Flynn closed his eyes trying to keep his mind clear. He couldn't give into his temptations.
"I shall tune Plaguespreader Zombie with Goku En…Unyielding beast unable to be overcome through sheer might! A fierce storm stirs as the twin headed beast of destruction awakens! Synchro summon! Level 8! Beelze of the Diabolic Dragons!", Flynn chanted.
The twin headed dragon let out a powerful roar that nearly blew Issachar off his feet and Hikaru whistled.
"He has the former Lord of All himself at his disposal. How interesting.", Hikaru commented.
Flynn sweated nervously as he tried to retain control of himself as the dark energy flowed through him. He clenched his fist tightly as it shook.
"Just breathe in…", Flynn thought.
"I will attack your Gorz with Beelze! Dual Diabolic Roaring Cannon!", Flynn declared.
Issachar LP 5300 - 300 = 5000
Issachar was blown back by the impact of Beelze's beam barely catching himself.
"I attack you directly with Pyramid Turtle!", Flynn declared.
Issachar LP 5000 - 1200 = 3800
"I end my turn.", Flynn said as his fist was still shaking.
Flynn looked down at his shaking fist.
"You can do this, Flynn! You have to believe in yourself as much as we believe in you.", Isabeau thought.
"Is it too much?", Issachar questioned.
"I'm fine.", Flynn replied plainly.
"Sure you are. I draw!", Issachar said.

"I activate Pot of Avarice allowing me to shuffle five monsters from my graveyard to my deck. Then, I can draw two cards.", Issachar said.

The card destroyed was Defense Draw.
"Then I will summon Fallen of Albaz.", Issachar said.

Flynn raised his eyebrow on confusion not recognizing the monster at all. His fellows looked equally confused.
"Isabeau, do you know what is?", Walter questioned.
"I have no idea. Why do you think I know?", Isabeau replied.
"Well, you are the resident book worm.", Walter replied with a funny expression and Isabeau sweat dropped.
Flynn was about to check what its effect was, however Issachar beat him to the punch.
"I activate the effect of Fallen of Albaz allowing me to discard a card and then fusion summon a monster using it and monsters on your field as material! Cursed Arm of Absorption!", Issachar said.

Flynn's eyes were wide in shock.
"You've got to be kidding me! That card is Super Polymerization on legs!", Walter said as he sweated intensely.
"Flynn!", Isabeau said, seeing Flynn was pale in shock.
The spirit raised its hand drawing in Beelze like a vacuum before they collided and there was an explosion of power. Flynn held up his arms to guard as a wild wind raged.
"Oh my Lord…this isn't good!", Navarre panicked.
"A warrior of the cursed brand absorbs in his enemies claiming their power for his own! He becomes a terrifying dragon clad in silver armor with a titanic hunger for destruction! Fusion summon! Level 8! Titaniklad the Ash Dragon!", Issachar chanted.
Flynn removed his arm from his vision looking upon the massive monster that towered over him. It radiated immense power.
"What is that thing…?", Flynn questioned.
"Your undoing! I activate the effect of Titanikad it gains 100 times the combined levels of its materials! Titanic Soul Drain!", Issachar said.
"It's gaining 1200 attack?!", Flynn questioned.
Titaniklad the Ash Dragon ATK 2500 (12x100) = 3700
"There's nothing in your deck left that can stand up to this kind of power! I attack Pyramid Turtle with Titaniklad! Titanic Ash Inferno!", Issachar declared as a spiral of orange flames was sent Flynn's way.
"Flynn, move!", Jonathan warned and Flynn doce out of the way.
The others did so as well. Flynn's monster was reduced to ash and scorch marks were left where the blast hit. Issachar sweated nervously hoping they were fine.
Flynn LP 3800 - 2500 = 1300
"I activate the effect of Pyramid Turtle allowing me to special summon another in defense mode.", Flynn said.
"That's not going to be enough, Flynn. You no longer have enough life points to ram Blue Sirius into Titaniklad.", Issachar pointed out.
Flynn kept a straight face, but anxiety welled within him.
"There's still a way out. I still have Raigeki in my deck or I could try to stall till I can revive Beelze and ram it into Titaniklad or I could use Marionette Mite.", Flynn thought.
"How cute you still have hope.", Issachar taunted.
"It will take more than that to make me surrender. Especially when there are still a thousand ways I can end this duel.", Flynn said.
"Your winning image will fail. There's only one end to this duel.", Issachar replied.
"Are you so sure about that?", Flynn questioned with a smirk.
Issachar felt nervous now knowing well Flynn often found a way through even the most perilous situations.
"We'll see. I end my turn.", Issachar said.
"I draw!", Flynn said as an intense gust swirled up with a chorus of ghostly howls.

"I win.", Flynn said.
"Your bluffing? That can't be Raigeki!", Issachar said.
"Even better. This is the final turn, evil spirit!", Flynn declared as he revealed Terraforming.
Isabeau took a relieved breath and the others cheered.
"Shit! Shit! Shit!", Issachar thought.
"I activate Terraforming allowing me to bring a field spell to my hand. I choose Zombie World. Now, I activate Zombie World, turning all monsters on the field and in the graveyard into zombies!", Flynn said.

The familiar scenery of Zombie World enveloped the area around him.
"Truly an underrated field spell. He really knows how to get good use out of that card.", Hikaru thought.
"Now, I activate the effect of Plaguespreader Zombie allowing me to send a card from my hand to the top of the deck to special summon it!", Flynn said.

"Bring the doom, Flynn.", Walter said.
"I tune Plaguespreader Zombie with Pyramid Turtle! From the dark depths of the grave arise, great dragon noble even in death! Your dreadful roar signals your enemies doom! Synchro summon! Level 6! Doomkaiser Dragon!", Flynn chanted.
The ground around them rumbled and out from it a crack appeared. Out from that crack crawled out Doomkaiser Dragon. Ghostly wisps flooded from the crack in the Earth as it roared.
"That dumb fucking card. It's still as busted now as when we were kids.", Issachar thought.
He grimaced at seeing his fused spirit self zombified by the card.
"When Doomkaiser is special summoned I can special summon a zombie monster from your graveyard. I choose Dark End Dragon. Roar of the Living Dead!", Flynn said.
The zombie dragon roared and from Issachar's side of the field his synchro dragon crawled out with its eyes glowing purple.
"I activate the effect of Dark End Dragon! I can make it lose 500 attack and defense to destroy one monster you control! I choose Titaniklad! Dark Vengeance!", Flynn said.
Dark End Dragon ATK 2600 - 500 = 2100
The dragon fired black lightning at the fusion monster destroying it. It huffed clearly angry at Issachar.
"Even if Issachar isn't here anymore he lives on in my memories forever supporting me! This is proof that bonds are beyond death! I attack you directly with Dark End Dragon! Dark Soul Cannon!", Flynn declared.
Issachar felt touched by the passionate speech. Unfortunately he wasn't allowed to show it on Hikaru's watch.
"He's so corny it hurts. I hate to burst his bubble but..", Issachar thought.
"I activate the effect of the monster I discarded for Albaz's effect! Electromagnetic Turtle! Once per duel I can banish it from the graveyard to end the battle phase!", Issachar countered.
"What?!", Flynn questioned as his attack was stopped cold.
Doomkaiser huffed in annoyance.
"…I end my turn.", Flynn said, unable to hide his shock.
"Flynn's final turn actually failed?!", Navarre questioned, sweating nervously.
"You can't blame him. No one could expect a graveyard effect like that.", Jonathan replied.
"How was he supposed to account for bs like that?!", Walter questioned.
Flynn's fist shook, unable to believe he failed to end the duel. It seemed like an obvious win. Issachar's field was empty and he had no cards left in his hand.
"Without that card I gave him he really would have been completely toast.", Hikaru said.
"It proves he's still weak. That Samurai as much as I hate to say it…had every right to win right there. He was completely blindsided by a unique card you created.", Kaga said as she arrived with the Ring of Gaea member from before.
"It definitely proves he truly is a stronger duelist than Issachar. He has no cards in his deck created through sacrifice. The only one he owns is due to the handiwork of Doomking's general which he refuses to use out of principle.", Hikaru explained.
"That's insane!", the nameless Ring of Gaea member replied.
"He has none…?", Kaga questioned, genuinely surprised.
"He doesn't believe in getting stronger that way so no he doesn't. All of the cards he's gained are from beating spirits.", Hikaru replied.
"I see…so this strength he currently possesses is all natural?", Kaga asked.
"Indeed…just imagine how powerful he could be if he submitted himself to the power of darkness.", Hikaru said, with an eerie smile.
"That's why you want him.", Kaga said.
"That's why any spirit wants him. Doomking, Beelze, it's not just his power from his rebirth into Flynn, but his unbridled skill and talent.", Hikaru replied.
She could see some part of Flynn was definitely tempted based on him losing control of himself when using Beelze. She needed him to fully give into his temptations then…
"If he did I might actually acquire a stronger general than Demi-Fiend.", Hikaru said.
"It will really take a miracle for me to turn this around…but I need one to protect you. Even if you don't know this duel is for you. I'm going to liberate you of that vile spirit, Beelze!", Issachar thought as he touched the top card of his deck.
"I draw!", Issachar said as a fierce wind blew from his draw.

Flynn braced himself feeling something coming.
"I activate Monster Reborn allowing me to resurrect Titaniklad!", Issachar said as he raised his hand in the air.

From a swirling inferno the fusion monster rose again. Hikaru smirked sinisterly upon seeing this.
"I activate my Union skill! Roar of the Undead! Once per duel to special summon one monster from my opponent's graveyard if I control a level 5 or higher monster! I choose Stardust Dragon!", Issachar said.
"Flynn's Union skill he gave Issachar I completely forgot about that!", Walter blurted out.
Flynn was completely speechless. No words came out of his mouth as he reached out for Stardust Dragon. It felt so wrong to see it on the opposing side just like when he was forced to face Doomkaiser. Stardust Dragon cried out in sadness.
"You're not very used to getting a taste of your own medicine. Hurts doesn't it? I will attack Dark End Dragon with Titaniklad! Titanic Ash Inferno!", Issachar declared vaporizing his own monster.
Flynn LP 1300 - 400 = 900
"This can't be happening!", Navarre said in horror.
"I chose Stardust over Beelze because well…this hurts far more doesn't it? I attack Doomkaiser Dragon with Stardust Dragon! Cosmic Flare!", Issachar declared.
"This is eleven kinds of wrong!", Walter said.
Stardust fired a beam at Doomkaiser. The zombie dragon stood up puffing up his chest, not backing down. He fired his own fire at Stardust and the attacks clashed intensely. Seeing the two fight made Flynn feel like his heart was being ripped in two. Stardust blast started to overpower Doomkaiser's, but it didn't buckle stubbornly standing against the signer dragon. Unfortunately Doomkaiser's fire was eventually overwhelmed and it was enveloped in the blast.
"Doomkaiser!", Flynn finally called out, reaching for his ace as it faded into particles.
Flynn LP 900 - 100 = 800
"This duel is over now. Your image is shattered and there's no way left for you to weasel out of this situation. We've arrived at my image! That top card is useless because it is Unknown Synchron!", Issachar said as he pointed directly at Flynn.
"How does he know that?! Is he psychic now?!", Walter questioned.
"No, it's a card he's known has been in Flynn's hand that he hasn't played. Remember Flynn sent a card to the top of his deck with Plaguespreader's effect.", Isabeau reminded.
Flynn looked down at his deck as his blood ran cold. He knew what his top card was and that it couldn't save him. His situation was completely hopeless. There was nothing he could do. He put himself in this position.
"I end my turn. You might as well surrender now to hold onto some dignity.", Issachar said.
"Never…I don't care if it's pointless! I draw!", Flynn said, with no wind behind his draw.

Flynn closed his eyes knowing very well he was completely stuck. There was nothing in his graveyard he could use or on his field…Just this card.
"I set a monster and end my turn.", Flynn said.
"Stubborn till the end I see. I draw!", Issachar said.

"Holy shit…I can't believe this worked out like this.", Issachar thought.
"You have hit a ceiling you can't surpass without devouring the souls of others. Issachar had always wanted to say this to you...Final turn. ", Issachar said as the prentices minus Flynn gasped.
Flynn gritted his teeth.
"I will attack your facedown Unknown Synchron with Titaniklad! Titanic Ash Inferno!", Issachar declared.
As the fire hit it the card flipped up to reveal Unknown Synchron. Flynn looked at Stardust Dragon which looked down at him with sympathy.
"I attack you directly with Stardust Dragon! Cosmic Flare!", Issachar declared.
Flynn raised up his arms to block as the blast hit him directly.
Flynn LP 800 - 2500 = 0
"Flynn!!!", Isabeau called out as the prentices all ran towards Flynn.
Flynn was astoundingly still standing much to their relief. But, then suddenly he tipped over unconscious. Issachar frowned deeply seeing how badly he hurt Flynn.
"I'll be taking my prize. I have no more use for you, Flynn.", Issachar said as he levitated Beelze from Flynn's deck to him.
Isabeau held Flynn closely as her shoulders shook. Jonathan glared at him and Walter growled. Navarre checked his breathing confirming Flynn was merely unconscious. Isabeau's hand was wrapped around Flynn's.
"What's wrong Mrs.Luxuror? Gonna cry?", Issachar taunted with the evilest smirk he could muster.
Kaga suddenly staggered as a card she carried glowed brightly. Hikaru smiled in interest not expecting this turn of events. A furious roar of a dragon could be heard. Issachar's smile dropped as he felt something very concerning. It was an intense power building. Isabeau turned to him glaring daggers at him that frightened even her fellows. Her signer mark glowed brightly resonating with the roar of Black Rose Dragon.
