Political Reform and Galactic News II

Date: February 24, 1999, Time: 6:30 P.M. Location: Qetesh's(Vala's) Galactic Dominion territory capital Planet: Divodunum in the capital city: Chuma, Galactic Parliament Government building and Royal Palace of Qetesh.

Backstory: As Qetesh's* Galactic Dominion Territory continues to grow economically at a fast rate especially on Qetesh's Galactic Dominion Territory Naquadah mining planet: Kahf Jabali Ghani* both Qetesh and Raziya* has been hearing and reading reports from their spies within their Galactic Dominion Territory that there has recently been a large amount of social unrest on most of her Galactic Dominion Territory planets. Qetesh has been sending quietly Raziya along with some of her Jaffa body guards and some of her spies to most of her Galactic Dominion Territory planets to discover in more detail what is causing this large amount of social unrest on most of Galactic Dominion Territory planets; After a few weeks of investigations from Raziya and her spies Raziya told Qetesh that the large amount of social unrest on most of her Galactic Dominion Territory planets are from them extremely exhausting hard labor(bordering the line of inhumane work labor conditions.) working conditions*; Raziya told her that this is from most of her Planetary mining companies and their mine managers on her mining Planets that have been pushing her Jaffa miners and slave labor forces to the point of breaking to exceed her Galactic Dominion Territory Mineral quotes to satisfy her and her Galactic Dominion Territory's increasing requests for more mineral resources; Raziya told her that the reason to supply both their growing civilian and military industrial complexes demands for very high demand of high quality goods that where hard to come or didn't have access to are now becoming more available for them to have access to or to trade with other merchants and planets; As well he told her that he learned from her spies that thanks to Akila* and her fellow scientists and engineers inventing some new 'Revolutionary' Goa'uld lighting system(Light bulbs, Flash-light mining helmets and hand held flash-lights.) for their mining managers after being taught how to use her new Goa'uld lighting system in using it in underground mining operations to mine underground and at night.

She learned from Raziya that her most of her Galactic Dominion territory Planetary leaders have come to accepted this and have been take bribes to look the other way; She learned from him and her spies Galactic Dominion territory Planetary leaders would look the away the Mining company leaders would let them have piece of the Profits; Vala personal told Daniel Jackson that she didn't really care on how her mining companies and managers operated her mines as long as they kept her Galactic Dominion Territory supply demand of minerals satisfied to maintain her Galactic Dominion Territory's territorial integrity; However as always being her moral and humane Political adviser Raziya told her that if she keeps looking the other way or ignoring this major social unrest issue that it could lead eventually down the road for very dangerous and deadly Political and economic consequences for her and her Galactic Government; Qetesh after being forced to see Raziya's viewpoint and seeing his logic she agreed that she would do something to solve this major social unrest issues with his help before it gets out of hand and deadly; So for the past few weeks both Qetesh and Raziya has been spending a large amount of time in creating Political and Economic reforms bills for both her and her Galactic Dominion territory's Galactic Parliament Government to pass to solve this major social unrest issue. Now both Qetesh and Raziya are outside her Galactic Parliament Representatives and Governors meeting chamber to pass both her and Raziya's Political and Economic reforms bills.

As both Qetesh and Raziya made last second adjustment to their official Garments the doors to the meeting chamber opened. They saw that has Qetesh come into the meeting room chamber that all the representatives and governors who were talking to each other stop and knell down on 1 kneel and bowed. The Head Galactic Governor: Gahji in a calm and somewhat subdue tone, Gahji "Our Queen and Goddess, you honor us with your present here; To what do we honor the present of you being here?"

Qetesh in a calm, smug and somewhat commanding tone, Qetesh "I'm here Gahji because it has come to my attention from me using my all-seeing vision that there is a large amount of social unrest being caused my Planetary mining companies and their mine managers on my mining Planets that have been pushing my Jaffa miners and slave labor forces to the point of breaking causing them extremely exhausting. I have learned from my all-seeing vision that there are a large number of protesters demanding better working conditions. Tell me Gahji did you and you allow Political allies and opponents know of the large amount of social unrest?"

Gahji in a very nervous and scared tone, Gahji "Yes my Goddess both myself and most of my Political allies and opponents know of this."

Just as Gahji finished he saw Qetesh lift up her right hand and saw her Kara kesh and saw it activate and given a powerful force wave that throw Gahji a few ft. in the air where he landed on the floor hard on his back in a massive amount of pain. The rest of the Representatives had on their faces shocked and scare look now being scared for their lives. Gahji was able after bearing through the massive amount of pain and got back up and came up to Qetesh and grabbed her left lower arm and in a very nervous and scare tone, Gahji "My Goddess please forgive us we have failed to bring this issue to you and help us to solve this issue."

Qetesh turned her attention to all present and in calm and commanding tone, Qetesh "All of you are forgiven but if you fail once more all of, I will force order an emergency Political elect to have all of you replaced. Now let's work together on solving large amount of social unrest that is cause major problems for our Galactic economy." After the discussion they had with each other both Qetesh and Raziya walked up to their places in the meeting room chamber with Qetesh come up to her throne in the center of the surrounding circle of seats for the representatives and governors and sat on her throne with Raziya a few ft. away from her on her right and sat in his seat.

Over the next few hours both Qetesh, Raziya and the rest of the Parliament Representatives and Governors discussed the Labor reform bills that would dramatically improve her Galactic Dominion territory work forces. During their discussion 1/3 of her Representatives furiously disagreed and become violent on the passing the Labor laws; This forced Qetesh to order her Jaffa Guards remove them from the Parliament meeting chamber. Finally, after a few hours and her Parliament Representatives and Governors passed her Labor Reform bills* into Galactic law. After they passed their labor reform bills into Galactic laws Vala decided to address the amount of huge amount of Political corruption within her Galactic Dominion territory. Governor Gahji asked why Vala is taking such an interest in her Galactic Dominion territory's lower lives and care of the amount of Political corruption in her Galactic Dominion territory that doesn't enough her directly; Vala let Raziya explain to them that Vala has decided to take a look at the lower lives of her people because the Political corruption would sew mistrust both in her Galactic government and her in giving them the impression that Qetesh didn't care for her people and their lives. He said that if the large amount of Political corruption is maintained or continues to grow it could lead to a rebellion that could spread like wildfire and get out of control where the Populous would overthrow them and her. Following Raziya statement all of them present decided to have internal security to clamp down Political corruption to remove those that were abusing their political position for personal gain and not holding the lead responsible that Qetesh has given them to represent their Populous to her; As well showing Qetesh that she is not a goddess that can support them and protect them from harm and other dangers.

Time: 10:30 P.M.

After their discussions and the passing of their Galactic Labor Reform laws Qetesh dismissed herself and invited Raziya to come to her personal quarters for few private discussions between herself and Raziya. After a minute of walking through her royal palace hallways they came up to her personal quarters and saw 2 of her Jaffa warrior Guards guarding her quarters with both their Qetesh-01 PRR Rifles pointing parallel. She saw that has they came up to her Jaffa warrior guards came at attention and bowed the heads in respect; As well after a few seconds she saw adjust their Qetesh-01 PRR Rifles vertically. Just as she was going to open her personal quarters door and turned her attention to her bodyguards and in a calm and somewhat arrogant tone, Vala "Jaffa kree whatever you hear in my personal quarters you will keep it to yourselves. If you ever let your tongue slip I will personally you executed understand?!"

Both Jaffa body Guards in a calm commanding submitted tone, Jaffa body guards "Yes My goddess it shall be done." With that settled both herself and Raziya entered her personal quarters.

As her personal quarters door closed behind them Vala come up to her bedroom dresser that had pitcher of water with some cup chalices right next to the pitcher of water. Vala come up to the pitcher of water and poured water into 2 cup chalices for both her and Daniel picked up the 2 cup chalices and in a calm and curious tone, Vala "Thirsty Daniel It has been a very exhausting day for the both of us in the Political arena."

Daniel gladly look the cup chalice of water a took a sip of water from and after a few seconds Daniel in a calm tone, Daniel "Thank you Vala my throat was thirsty."

Vala "Your welcome Daniel, now do you know that with all these 'Revolutionary' Political reforms will eventually draw the attention of Camulus's and possibly the other System Lords in them watching us giving the Jaffa and the slaves under my Galactic Dominion Territory more Political and Economical freedoms then any other Goa'uld in the history of the Goa'uld empire. Daniel you and I know it's only a matter of time before Camulus and possibly the another system lords to come a take away the progress we have done."

Daniel "I know Vala we can only hope that we will ensure the coming Political Games that we will be forced to play in the future if we our Jaffa/Goa'uld Galactic Republic/Empire is to survive the Galactic storm that is rapidly approaching."

Vala "That's good to hear Daniel; Oh by the way Daniel tell me did you heard from our Galactic spy network that Hathor has been killed by the Tau'ri?"

Daniel "Yes all of us have heard from our Galactic spy network that Hathor has been killed by the Tau'ri. It would seem that the timeline is proceeding relatively like it did originally. If everything goes according to the timeline then the high council of Goa'uld systems is going to plan a massive attack on Earth for them becoming an increasingly creditable threat; But thanks to the Asgard would intervene and negotiate with Goa'uld to put Earth under the Protective Planets Treaty."

Vala "Wow Daniel I didn't know you where so knowledgeable in historic events."

Daniel in a calm and flattered tone, Daniel "Well Vala I'm a historian that studies of languages developing over time; As well to study history to see how civilizations rise and causes on how they fall."

Vala came up to Daniel and passionately kiss Daniel on his lips and after a few seconds Vala withdraw from Daniel. Daniel in a curious and calm tone, Daniel "I take it you want to have some 'fun' tonight to forget of Galactic troubles for tonight."

Vala in a sexy and calm tone, Vala "Yes Daniel and I would you to help me have some 'fun' tonight." With that both Vala and Daniel decided have some 'fun' that night to escape the Galactic troubles.

*Kahf Jabali Ghani has over the years secretly been since 1995 have dramatically sized the increased the size of their Naquadah mining operations on the Planet with help from a moderate amount(30%(8,168).) of the engineers, Miners, construction workers, Mineral Processing workers among other important infrastructure jobs assigned to Kahf Jabali Ghani to help improve and bring in more efficiently mining, production and manufacturing methods to provide Qetesh's Galactic Dominion territory with better and more build materials to maintain her Galactic Dominion's infrastructure and continuous economic grow; In fact, as of Mid-1999 the Population of Kahf Jabali Ghani has increasing to over 178,463 living on the planet along with the Jaffa miners and slaves along with advanced Goa'uld Mineral Processing Facilities on Kahf Jabali Ghani has become Qetesh's Galactic Dominion territory's mining, production and manufacturing heart of her Galactic Dominion.

*Some of the extremely exhausting hard labor working conditions on mining Planets in Qetesh's Galactic Dominion territory's where that the Qetesh's Mining companies allowed their Mining managers to work their Jaffa(Mainly Young adults, middle-aged adults, very elderly adults(that where barely able work even in their extreme old age.) and even the sick if they are still able to handle tools to work with.) miners, slave labors and other people in different mining operations Jobs 14 hour days with only 1 30 minute break every 7 hours with no 15 minutes breaks every 2 hours and got paid every week; However the amount of paid($16.00 of Qetesh Galactic Dominion territory currency if they lucky to even get paid for their work labor.) that their Mining companies paid them was barely enough to survive off of; They allowed or conscripted child as young as 10 years old to work in their mining operations; They even had pregnant woman working in mines and other areas in the mining operations working the same amount of hours and harsh working conditions.

*Some of the Galactic Labor Reform laws is that Qetesh Dominion Territory Mining companies and operations was that in 1 Part it forced them and their Mining managers that they weren't allowed to not the very elderly adults to work in the harsh mining conditions given their extremely old age and their fragile weak bodies in their old age; It as well didn't allow the very sick or injured to work in the harsh mining conditions until they have fully recovered from their ailment that is making them sick or injury that isn't fully healed. It as well statement that no pregnant woman will be allowed to work in the harsh mining conditions until their unborn child in born and a few weeks after that to have them recover from having their child; It was well didn't allow them to have any children no older than 16 years old that are physically capable to handle the harsh mining conditions to work in the mines; Another Part of the Galactic labor Reform laws was that the mining companies would only work their workers for 5 days a week and let them have 2 days off for rest and to spend time with their families; As well told the mining companies where required to of at least 2 shift(12 hours each) time schedules with a 15 minute break every 2 hours to give their labor workers to rest and relax for a few minutes; As well least 2 30 minutes lunch breaks every 5 hours to give their workers time to have lunch and socialize.

The law said they could offer their workers overtime to work earn more money but it need to be volunteer only and not ordered(Mandatory unless their Mining companies where far behind quotes and need to work overtime to catch up to their quotes.) their workers to work extra time; The law as well told them that if they offer or in some cases if they are indeed ordered their workers to do overtime and they accepted to work overtime they would need to pay them 1 1/2 times more their avenge paid rate; Another Part of the Galactic Reform laws was that the mining companies were forced to pay their workers a minimum hourly wage(Roughly 27 cents an hour; $16.20 per week.) for them feel compensated for their work and want they to come back to work; As well to support their families with an income to buy amenities to make their lives more comfortable.
