It had been a month since the unannounced arrival of Batman, of course he had left that same day but he'd ruined the Titans crime fighting spree. Robin had been right. Those criminals that had heard about Control Freak 'getting away' would taunt Robin. So when the chance to get back at Control Freak arose, Robin wouldn't pass it up.

The Hive had waited a week before continuing their crimes. They'd been afraid of Batman coming onto the scene. Though it quickly became clear that Batman would not appear on the scene of the crime again so they went right back to their normal crime sprees.

Robin came crashing into the room as the crime alert alarm started wailing. "Titans!" Robin called. "The Hive are attacking the fair! Titans Go!" He shouted.

They quickly left the tower and headed to the fair ground and came across Jinx stealing cotton candy, Mammoth smashing a ride as Gizmo cackled, Billy was riding a ride, and See-More was making the ride Billy was on go faster and faster.

The Titans wasted no time in entering combat. Starfire attacked See-More, Raven attacked Jinx, Cyborg attacked Mammoth, Beast Boy attacked Billy, and Robin attacked Gizmo. Gizmo cackled even more.

"Hi, Robin. Aren't you afraid Daddy Batsy is coming?" He teased. Robin screamed and whacked Gizmo into the ground with his stick. "Ow." Gizmo wheezed before quickly fighting back.

The Titans beat down the Hive and left them tied up as the crime alert started wailing again. "Titans! Control Freak is attacking the hardware store! Titans Go!" Robin called.

They made their way to the hardware store and found Control Freak with a broken television. "Nice try Freak." Robin called.

"I'm trying to get my TV fixed! It broke when that small brained Mammoth smashed the ground near my apartment!"

"Nice try Freak! Too convenient. Titans Go!" Robin called, eager to get this over with. The Titans attacked Control Freak, making him drop the TV. Raven sent it back into the hardware store, good as new and went in to fix all the other probably broken furniture. The others attacked Control Freak mercilessly.

Until a batarang came flying and knocked Control Freak away from Cyborg, who had been next in line to attack him. Robin gritted his teeth in irritation. Batman landed between the Titans and Control Freak. He didn't talk to the Titans, or turn to look at them. He walked calmly and swiftly toward Control Freak.

For a minute the Titans were confused about what was happening until Robin quickly used his stick to jump over Batman and land next to Control Freak who was rubbing his head. The reason he wasn't trying to escape was that he was pinned to the wall by the batarang. Batman placed his hands so that Control Freak's head was between them, and Batman could look him in the eye.

"What are you doing here Harold?"

"Trying to get my broken screen fixed. How- Where did you-" Batman interrupted him.

"It is convenient that Baran smashed your apartment grounds."

"He did! My television fell over, I have insurance so I took some pictures." He pulled out his phone, put in the password and quickly handed it over to Batman. Batman took it and looked through the photos to see that Control Freak was telling the truth. Batman narrowed his eyes before handing the phone back and yanking the batarang out of the wall, all in one smooth motion. Control Freak fell and quickly entered the store.

Robin frowned. "What-" Batman turned on him.

"Do yourself a favor and watch what you say Robin." He turned and headed toward the batmobile. "Get in." Batman ordered.

"What?" Batman stopped and turned his head to the side, toward Robin.

"Get. In." Batman waited and Robin quickly got in the batmobile. The other Titans were gawking at the amazing batmobile, being allowed to see it and Batman. Batman jumped into his seat and looked at the other Titans. "Go to your tower." He ordered, then immediately shut the doors to the batmobile before speeding off. Robin didn't say a thing even as Batman slowed the car a few blocks away. So Batman thought he would strike up the conversation they needed to have. "What are you doing Robin?"

"What?"

"What are you doing?"

"Sitting here, waiting to see what happens. Dad, I'm sorry."

"So you do understand what you're doing is wrong?"

"… I know you're not happy."

"There is a difference between being a superhero and being out to get criminals because their criminals. Can you tell me what that is?" Robin blushed. All he could do was repeat the words Batman had told him.

"You can't just beat up bad guys because their bad guys."

"And?"

"And there's a difference between committing a crime and having a past record of crime commitment. You can't just go around asking bad guys if their doing crimes though!"

"I knew Harold wasn't committing a crime. He was just caught in the middle of doing normal citizen things. Like getting his television repaired. Mammoth being the reason is quite convenient but not all villains are 'friends'. Villains are known for not being thoughtful."

"Then why did the crime alert go off?"

"Who runs the crime alert?"

"I created it."

"Then perhaps you should create a subdivision for criminals who are doing daily activities such as repairs."

"No thanks." Robin said after a few minutes of silence.

"Then learn to tell the difference. Thoughtlessly running out to stop people with criminal records who are not causing any real harm keeps you from being able to respond to the real threats." Batman pulled up to the Titan Tower.

"If you come over again, can you please warn us?" Robin asked. Batman didn't respond, only opened the doors for Robin to get out.

"Remember what we talked about Robin." Batman slightly warned. Batman had to go back to Gotham, Batgirl had texted that she was tailing Penguin. Penguin could be dangerous if he really wanted to be. Batman would be back, expecting to see Robin acting like a real superhero. Not just beating on the people he expected were committing crimes.
