(The next day)
Dimitri and Alberta escorted both Rose and Jasmine to their first class. Dimitri thought it was ridiculous to guard two students so closely. Knowing Rose was so slippery and could escape almost anything, Jasmine was a good fighter and gifted. Both of them were subjected to close scrutiny for an extended period of time.
We arrived at the gym. Dimitri observed Jasmine and Rose approaching a group of inexperienced boys who were conversing. "There are more important things to talk about than my ass," Rose added. "Jazz's chest," Mason remarked. Rose and Jasmine both commented, "Quit while you have the head Mason."
Dimitri came to a halt and observed the inexperienced boys. I grew irritated with the boys for speaking to both of them in this manner. Eddie had long, slender, and boyish facial features. He also had sandy blond hair and hazel-brown eyes. He wrapped his arm around Jasmine's waist and pulled her in close.
He leaned in close to Jasmine's ear and began whispering something.
Dimitri stood there, watching the boy flip over and fall on the ground, smiling as he realized Jasmine had put him on his backside. "You can always sweep me off my feet at any time." Eddie replied. "Eddie! "You are so easy to kick to the ground." exclaimed Jasmine. Jasmine bent down and lifted him up with her hand. Eddie stood up from the floor, grabbing Jasmine.
(Dimitri is set for his workout.)
Dimitri would occasionally glance over when something caught his eye. Seeing Rose get thrashed by a red-haired man named Mason by Rose and Jasmine.
Jasmine was standing in front of an instructor, when he turned his head. Jasmine deflects the instructor's fists and knocks him to the ground. Dimitri could see instructor was tall, had dark hair, and was blue eyes, 6 tall. The instructor moved behind Jasmine and wrapped his arm over her neck. Maintain vigilance. Jasmine stepped forward, stepped through, and pushed her shoulder out of the way, hugging his body. The instructor collapsed a split second later after Jasmine kicking the instructor's backside made Dimitri smile. I went over to the bench, getting my bottle of water and waited for the instructor to get up.
"Guardian Belikov," Alberta approached Dimitri and remarked as she walked alongside him. "Who is that instructor?" Dimitri inquired. "Guardian Damon Chase," Alberta said. Before the attack on Jasmine, Dimitri recalls Vasilisa stating something about Damon in the SUV. He intended to ask Jasmine about it later. If you've completed your workout, jump in the shower and prepare for your next guarding shift. Alberta declared. Dimitri suspected Alberta of concealing something.
(Bodyguard's Theory and Personal Protection)
Dimitri was standing at the back of Stan Alto Bodyguard's theory and personal protection class. Dimitri couldn't breathe when Rose and Jasmine walked in with Vasilisa.
Stan Alto said, "Look here, everyone. We have guest speakers here today. The Hathaway twins have this true privilege. " Rose and Jasmine stopped and looked at Stan. Stan said, "This is very generous of you both to take time out of your busy schedules to share your knowledge with us on the right way to protect Princess Vasilisa Dragomir."
"Could Jasmine and Rose enlighten us about your defensive strategies for keeping Princess Vasilisa Dragomir safe if you come across a Strigoi?" "The first thing is the position and fast root to get away without having to fight, unless we have to fight to save them or ourselves. Jasmine's testimony would be supported by the other guardians in the room.
"Have you ever seen Strigoi?" Stan inquired. "Yes!" exclaimed Jasmine. "Have you ever fought Strigoi?" Stan inquired. "Yes!" exclaimed Jasmine. "Killed the Strigoi?" Stan asks. "Yes!" exclaimed Jasmine while looking Stan in the eyes. She wasn't blinking. Stan was taken aback when he learned that Jasmine had been attacked and killed a strigoi. "I don't believe you," Stan responded. Jasmine spun around, lifted her long French braid to reveal a single Molnija mark on the back of her neck, indicating that it was a Strigoi she had slain.
Last night, Jasmine fought five Strigoi by herself outside the academy gates in order to save Princess Vasilisa Dragomir, Rose, four other guardians, and myself. So, be respectful. Dimitri explained, "Well! You will receive your five new Molnija marks today. Increase the number of kills to six. I envisage one twin having a bright career as a guardian, but not so much for the other, whose future remains unknown. "
Stan explained, "Rose, Tell us about how you kept Princess Vasilisa Dragomir safe from the Strigoi using your protective skills. " Rose started to speak when Stan interrupted Rose before she could respond to Stan's question. Stan continues his interrogation of Rose, interrupting her before she can respond. He began yelling in Rose's face from a few inches away as she became angry.
Jasmine stood up from her seat and said, "Instructor, Stan Alto." Stan stops and turns to face Jasmine. Jasmine said, "Do I need to remind you of your instructor at this academy? Please remove yourself from Rose's face and calm down. What you are doing is emotional abuse of a student. I believe that you have crossed the line when you get a few inches into Rose's face. I found your line of questioning ridiculous. Don't give Rose time to answer any of your questions before spitting out any ludicrous questions. So take a few steps back, calm down, or I will have the guardians removed from your position. "
"Shut your fucking mouth," Stan advised. "Guardians," Jasmine explained. Please remove Stan Alto from the classroom. Two guardians started moving down stairs, heading for Stan Alto. Dimitri couldn't believe Jasmine had made the correct decision. Two Guardians led Stan, the instructor, out of the classroom. Jasmine sat back in her seat and retrieved her medication from her pocket.
"Go Jazz!" Christian exclaimed. You made the proper decision by addressing Stan directly. Jasmine said, "I think Stan Alto needs to attend anger management classes or start doing yoga, because the man is an asshole." Christian began laughing. Jasmine, Dimitri and a few other guardians began to smile and agree with her. All the other students started chatting about Jasmine fighting the strigoi and saving Vasilissa, Rose, and the guardians. Rose looked at Jasmine and said, "Thank you!" Jasmine smiled!
There was a knock on the door as it opened, and Guardian Damon stepped out while saying "Jasmine Hathaway." All the students fell silent to listen to Damon's conversation with Jasmine. "Is this about me kicking Instructor Stan Alto out of his own classroom?"
Jasmine wondered. "No!" exclaimed Guardian Damon. Captain Alberta would like to discuss last night with you. However, you may want to bring it up to Alberta again. You did it a third time. Dimiti was surprised to find Jasmine had kicked Stan out of his own classroom.
Jasmine puts her book, notepad, and belongings in her backpack. "Pyro, I'll meet you later," Jasmine said. "Can't wait!" remarked Christian."I'll take Jasmine to the Alberta office," Dimitri remarked as he walked behind Jasmine. Furthermore, the students require a new teacher. "Alright, everyone calm down and shut the door behind him," the Guardian said. Damon remarked as the other youngsters started talking loudly.
(Alberta Office)
Both Jasmine and Dimitri walked down the corridor of the academy together. "I saw you training with instructor Damon earlier." Damon seemed to be paying more attention to you than the other novices. Dimitri said. Jasmine simply stared at Dimitri without saying anything. This leads me to believe there is something going on between you two. Jasmine said, Let me clarify something. You're completely unaware that something is going on between us. But it is not what you think. Damon was one of the guardians that found me after the attack. Damon is like a big brother to me. Nothing more. Dimitri said, "Good!"
Dimitri and Jasmine arrived at Alberta's office quickly. Dimitri knocked on Alberta's door. Before Alberta could say, "Come in," Jasmine opened the door and walked inside. Alberta raised her eyes from the reports and said, "Jazz! What did I say before you just entered my office? " Jasmine said to wait three seconds before entering. "No, five seconds before entering," Alberta added. "Oops!" exclaimed Jasmine. Dimitri noticed that Alberta's office was spotless; unsurprisingly, the office was spotless; everything was arranged with military efficiency. But he was more surprised by Jasmine just walking inside.
Alberta declared, "Kindly take a seat." I read Guardian Belikov's report on what transpired yesterday with the Strigoi. There were a few issues in his report that I found strange. Guardian Belikov stated that you used magic to fight the strigoi. "It's true!" Jasmine exclaimed. I can perform magic like Moroi, Captain Alberta. However, I have always felt different from other dhampiers.
It appeared a week after the attack on me. A week after the incident in the hospital wing, I wake up screaming and with both hands on fire after having a nightmare. It just lasted a few seconds before it vanished. However, the fire did not harm me, said Jasmine. When we entered the room, we could smell smoke. However, we were unable to locate any fire. "What is going on with you?" Alberta wondered. I understand why you want to keep it hidden from everyone. It's been four years now. We only recently learned about it.
Alberta said, "What things can you do with power?" Jasmine said, "I throw fireballs, shoot flames from my hands, hold ball fire in my hands without burning myself, and flames up my arms." I have been working on a wall of fire in the case of the Strigoi attack.
Jasmine extended her right hand, palm up, in front of her. When she was holding a ball of fire, Jasmine's hand appeared. Captain Alberta is taken aback by Jasmine's use of Moroi-style sorcery. "Put it out!" said Dimitri. Jasmine wrapped her hand around the fireball till it was extinguished. Jasmine opens her hand again, demonstrating that the fire had been extinguished and that she had no burn traces on her hand. Alberta was taken aback by Jasmine's use of Moroi-like powers.
Alberta asked, "Who knew about your power?"
Jasmine said, "Rosie and Vasilisa." Alberta said, "I will find someone who can help you control it." But for now, we'll keep it secret. Jasmine said, "Promies?" Alberta said, "Yes! So I suppose you used your magic on the strigoi last night? " Jasmine explained, "Yes! I surprised the shit out of them by uncovering the dhampier with the powers of Moroi. Alberta said, "I wish I could see you using your magic."
Jasmine said, "There is a way for you to witness me utilizing my power while in combat." Do you remember that Vasilissa stated our necklaces were special? Because inside each of them they had a GPS and a video cameo. "You keep the disk for the report," Jasmine remarked. Alberta declared, "Many thanks! Now is the time to set aside your five molnijas marks for the strigoi who were killed the night before. "
Jasmine rose up from the chair, reached down, and took a backpack and a book with her notebook in her hands. Jasmine said, "Good job, Dimitri." You create something attractive and useful, Dimitri explained. Roza and Princess Vasilisa are constantly under surveillance while no one is around." Jasmine said, "Bingo!"
(Jasmine molnijas marks)
Jasmine was escorted to the guardian's building by Dimitri, and Alberta in order for Jasmine to receive her new five molnijas markings. The ceremony was attended by all of the guardians on campus. When the ceremony began, the guardians automatically formed ordered ranks and watched Jasmine Hathaway receive her new molnijas marks.
Alberta and Dimitri followed Jasmine's side of the room to a stool in the corner. Jasmine sat in the room's corner on a stool. Jasmine's little hairs were out of the way as she leaned forward with a long braid pulled over her head to show off the back of her neck, allowing her to acquire her five new molnijas marks on her neck. A guardian named Lionel stood behind Jasmine, holding a tattooist's needle to the back of Jasmine's neck.
Lionel had a whispered talk with Captain Alberta and Dimitri before starting. She'll be without a promise mark. "She hasn't graduated," Lionel said. "It happens," Alberta answered. The kills were done by Jasmine. Do the three next to the first one and leave some space between them. The mark will be on her and two other sides when she graduates. That gives Jasmine a total of six kills," Dimitri added. Lionel was astonished to learn that one of the newcomers had already scored six kills. "Way to go!" Lionel exclaimed. "Thank you!" Jasmine exclaimed.
Jasmine didn't expect the tattoos to hurt as much as they did, given the amount of agony she frequently endures. As Lionel drew the marks, Jasmine bit her bottom lip and remained silent. The procedure seemed to take an eternity. When Lionel was finished, he produced a pair of mirrors, and Jasmine was able to see the back of my neck after some wiggling. Look at the five fresh little black marks on the left side of the neck next to the first and three on the right side of the neck where the promise mark will be placed later.
Lionel dressed them and provided Jasmine instructions on how to care for them while they recovered. One by one, the assembled guardians approached me. They all gave Jasmine a hug, a kiss on the cheek, and some lovely words.
Alberta said, "Congratulations!" Her weathered face was gentle as she pulled Jasmine into a tight in Jasmine's ear. You make me so proud. Soon I will find someone to help you. Jasmine said, "Thank you! I should have told you sooner about my gift. " Alberta said, "Don't worry about it."
Dimitri said nothing when his turn came. But Dimitri was proud of Jasmine. Stan shook Jasmine's hand and said, "Good job! Now you have six kills under your belt. Stop kicking me out of my class. " Jasmine said, "I wouldn't have kicked you out of your class." If you weren't emotional abuse of students, before asking any questions, I get my sissy face and yell at your dumb questions without giving her time to answer. Aberta looked at Stan and said, "Come here." Jasmine said, "Stan is in trouble now." "Get him, Captain Alberta."
Damon's turn came, and he said, "Congratulations and so proud of you." So you have six kills now. " He pulled Jasmine's hug from him. Dimitri was watching Damon acting around Jasmine and didn't like it.
Dimitri stood there watching Damon and Jasmine converse. They approached the food table. Damon orders a tomato Jasmine salad. Damon leans in to speak with someone. Dimitri stands there watching Jasmine devour the entire salad on Damon's plate. When he was not looking, Jasmine stepped back and tossed the plate. Obtaining a new platter with freshly prepared food, Damon was completely unaware that he had additional salad on his plate. "What is the reason Jasmine won't eat the salad?" Dimitri wondered.
(First training)
Dimitri entered his bedroom, dropped onto the bed, and went into a deep slumber almost immediately. He didn't bother changing or setting his alarm. I fell asleep almost instantaneously, and the alarm went off after what felt like minutes. Dimitri began rubbing his eyes and setting up with his massive hands. I'm feeling even worse than I was before I went to bed. Dimitri sits up in bed, checks his watch, and sees that he's in training with Jasmine and Rose. Dimitri got out of bed slowly, changed into comfy clothing, and went to the gym.
When Dimitri walked inside the gym, I saw Jasmine sitting on a mat, staring at a calculus book. Jasmine was completely perplexed. Dimitri glanced around the gym for Rose but couldn't find her. Where is Rose, Jasmine? "Dimitri inquired as he approached. Jasmine ignored Dimitri's notice and her attention to her calculus book. Dimitri placed a gentle tap on Jasmine's shoulder. Jasmine raised her head and reached up to remove the ear pod from her ear.
Jasmine explained, "Cowboy, This calculus is beyond my comprehension. It's all Greek to me. " Dimitri explained, "Hello, baby. When Dimitri discovered Jasmine needed help, it was a first for him. " Dimitri asked, "Where is Roza?" Maybe with Vasilisa, Jasmine said. " Dimitri tells Jazz to stay on the mat and concentrate on her calculus until we return." Dimitri circles around the gym, looking for Rosa.
A few minutes later,
Dimitri searches the corridors and discovers Rose sitting on a bench. Dimitri approaches her, his eyes glazing over as if she were in a trance. Dimitri was kneeling down close to him, peering into Rosa's eyes, and noticing that Rose's eyes had turned gold. Dimitri remained silent, expecting this to be a ruse. Dimitri panicked when he discovered that wasn't the case. Dimitri repeated Rose's name several times. I received no response at all. As Dimitri shook Rose's shoulders, she became agitated. I was hoping this wasn't a stress reaction as a result of everything that had happened. Rose's consciousness came back to Dimitri.
Dimitri inquired. "Are you doing okay?" "I was in Liss's head," Rose explained to Dimitri. "How is Vasilissa's head?" Dimitri inquired, concerned. "It's part of our bond," Rose explained. She averted her gaze from him, as if she didn't want to talk about it. "Is she okay?" Dimitri inquires. Lisa is not in danger, according to Rose.
Dimitri could tell he was picking up on their habits. Seeing more of Jasmine and Rose is beneficial to both of them. Dimitri knew both of them at different times, but once he finished training them, they would be in the same place. A deadly fighting group is tasked with protecting Princess Vasilisa Dragomir.
Rose opened the door and Dimitri entered the gym. "This calculus is crazy," Jasmine remarked as she hurled the calculus book across the room. "Does that make you feel better?" Rose inquired. "No!" exclaimed Jasmine. Jasmine raised her right hand, revealing a fiery ball in her palm. Dimitri sensed she was preparing to launch a fireball at the calculus textbook. "Put it out," Dimitri urged. Jazz carefully closes her palm, extinguishing the flame. As Dimitri explains, "Later, I'll focus on calculus." However, you must expend the energy you possess right now. I'd like each of you to do several laps for me. " "Take one of your medicines," Rose said. The medication bottle was taken from a rucksack by Jazz.
Jasmine gets off the mat. Reaching down, picking up an mp3 player, putting ear pods in and playing on her belt. started walking out the back doors. Rose walked behind Jasmine. Jasmine started stretching before running. Dimitri watched Jasmine stretch by, pulling her leg over her head. Upon discovering Jasmine was flexible, Rose started stretching her legs.
Dimitri sat down on the bench with his book in hand. While looking up to make sure both girls were still jogging, I began reading. He returned to his book after seeing both girls continue sprinting on the track. When I looked up, both of the girls had disappeared. He checked his watch and discovered it was roughly an hour and a half later.
Rose and Jasmine had disappeared from the running track. I was thinking about how both of them must have known I wasn't paying attention to them. Dimitri explained, "Shit! I guess I'll have to keep an eye on both of them from now on, or they'll start to disappear on me again. " When he got out of his seat and walked back into the gym, he noticed the lights were turned off. Found a note on the door and said, "Next time you might keep a monitor on both of us unless you want trouble Cowboy. Dimitri smiled
