At the start of the war on cybertron arcee went on to be an intel officer and ratchet went on to be a field medic but by time they met arcee was in shock as she only had the top of her left leg attached. So ratchet had to get arcee to a hospital after doing what he could for the time being on her leg, ratchet picked arcee up bridal style and off he went to the hospital she wondered what was happening and asked "who are you and where are you taking me ?" Ratchet replied " I am Ratchet, a field medic and I'm taking you to a hospital as you are missing the bottom half of your left leg." but she didn't hear the last part because she was unconscious in ratchet's arms. It turns out that all the hospitals had been destroyed so he had to take her to the base he lived at with optimus, ultra magnus, bumblebee, wheeljack, cliffjumper, smokescreen and bulkhead for the time being. "Ratchet to base do you read." ratchet said through the com link. " ratchet we're reading an extra autobot signal as well as yours but more faint." optimus replied " i know and she is in real bad shape so could use a bridge." ratchet replied just as one opened and ultra magnus came out and took arcee out of ratchets arms and they both ran through and put her on a medical bed so ratchet can do the rest of the work that is needed for arcee's leg. Arcee came around just in time as Ratchet had finished fixing up her leg. "Ratchet, where am i." Arcee asked as she was confused at where she was. "You're at the autobots base and they can introduce themselves tomorrow as you still need rest." ratchet answered. " ratchet, how is Arcee doing?" Bumblebee asked "bumblebee, arcee is fine but needs rest also how do you know her?" ratchet questioned and by then every one had gathered in the main room/medbay by now. " What's going on here?" bulkhead asked and ratchet replied "i asked bee how did he know the new recruit arcee." By then Optimus had walked into the medbay and Arcee saw him "is that you sire/father." Arcee asked " Arcee I am optimus prime was known as Orion Pax and also what are your carrier(mother) and sires names ?" optimus asked. Arcee replied " my carrier is ultra magnus and my sire is Orion pax." Everyone was looking at ultra magnus and optimus. So they both went to their berth room(bed room) to discuss this. " Magnus, how could you not tell me that we have a daughter also since when did we?" optimus asked ultra magnus " technically i was going to tell you when you came back from kaon but instead i decided to comfort you and then the war came so i never got the chance to tell you." ultra magnus replied ….
