Lissa discovered Rose and Jasmine outside the commons together. Rose was trying to spend more time with her twin sister. Lissa delivered the most astonishing news. Uncle Victor's getting Natalie off campus this weekend to go shopping in Missoula for the dance. He told Natalie that she could bring two other people besides me. I convinced her to bring both of you with us. Lissa smiled excitedly.
Jasmine said, "That great news. That means the next day after the dance. I will leave for Russia for the next three months." Rose said, "but we are not even supposed to go to the library after school." Jasmine said, "that hasn't stopped me before." Rose, Lissa giggled and smile. Rose said, "no one's going to let us go to Missoula." Lissa said, "Uncle Victor thinks he can get Head Mistress Kirova to let us go. Dimitri's trying too." Jasmine said, "Cowboy?"
Lissa said, "Dimitri has to go with me. If I leave campus. Lissa grinned, taking Rose's interest in Dimitri as interest in the mall. They figured out my account. Finally, I got my allowance back. So we can buy other stuff along with dresses. And you know if they let us go to the mall, they'll have to let you go to the dance.
"Rose said, do we go to dances now?" Jasmine said, "We never go to school-sponsored social events. Lissa said, Of course not. But you know there'll be all kinds of secret parties. We'll start at the dance and sneak off." Jasmine said, could be fun. Vasilisa said, "That more like Jazz." Lissa sighed happily. "Mia's so jealous she can barely stand it." Jasmine said, it's a good thing that pix hair, two-year-old. All pissed out in her playpen. Rose and Lissa started laughing, making fun of Mia again. Vasilissa said, Rose comes with me to help me plan an outfit for the trip to Missoula.
Rose and Vasilisa walked away. Jasmine grabbed Rose's arm to stop her and asking, "where are you going?" Rose said, "Help Vasilisa pick an outfit." Jasmine said, "Rosie, you promise to be with me today. Remember? Now you are ditching me for Vasilisa. I don't fucking think so. Besides, you are failing English, history, and promise to help me understand my math. Vasilisa just has to find an outfit by herself.
Rose looked at Jasmine bright gold eyes, and remember, that did promise Jasmine to stay with her today. Rose turn Vasilisa said, "Sorry! I did promise Jasmine earlier to spin the whole day with her." Vasilisa said, "I understand Jasmine needs you, too. We could pick an outfit later.
Vasilisa said, "Rosie, you need to work on history, English and help Jasmine with her math. I will help both you.
Dimitri was standing around the corner listening to what was being said by Jasmine, Rose, and Vasilisa. Knowing tomorrow they would be in Missoula.

Everyone was standing next to the van waiting to get inside leave to Missoula. Jasmine, standing next to Victor Dashkov, and asked, "How are you doing today?" Victor turn his head to Jasmine and said, "I have good days and bad days. You worry so much about me. I heard from Natalie that you got into the international program being sent to St. Basil's academy in Russia for the next three months." Jasmine said "Yes!" Victor said, "I hear it one of the hardest programs to get into." Jasmine said, "I don't know who put my name on this program?" Victor said, someone who believes in you, and how you would great guardian in the future."
Alberta watching Jasmine with Victor, talked about the international program. Jasmine was showing the softer side to Victor Dashkov, and soon Alberta wouldn't have to look for some teacher with her to use magic. Alberta didn't understand how Jasmine could have magic like Moroi. Putting Jasmine's name in for the international program was the best thing that she did for the St. Vladimir's Academy. It would put them on the map-making great guardians. Jasmine was right!
Dimitri was talking to Rose about the reason that going on a trip to Missoula. Saying it was a training exercise. Rose thought more about that. But she would keep her mouth shut.
There were nine people in our group. Vasilisa, Victor, Natalie, Dimitri, Rose, Jasmine, and three other guardians. Two of the guardians, Ben and Spiridon, always traveled with Victor. The third was one of the school's guardians: Stan, the jerk who'd tried humiliated us on our first day back. But get humiliated when Jasmine had him remove from his own class.
Natalie doesn't have a personal guardian yet, Dimitri explained to Rose and Jasmine. They're both under protecting their family guardian. Since they are Academy students leaving campus, a school guardian accompanies them - Stan. Dimitri said, "I'm go because I'm Vasilissa assigned guardian. Most girls her age wouldn't have a personal guardian yet, but circumstances make her unusual."
Rose and Jasmine looked at each other. Being speak without saying a word. Dimitri realized Rose and Jasmine started talking again without saying a word. Sprididon said, "That is amazing that both of them could talk without saying a word to each other and understand each other." Dimitri said, "twin bond." Rose and Jasmine turn back to Dimitri and said, "keep going." Jasmine took a gulp of her tea that Yeva sent her.
Rose and Jasmine sat in the second seat at the back of the van. Dimitri and Sprididon were in the late seat talking to both Rose and Jasmine. They could dispense guardian wisdom to both of us. Ben and Stan sat up in the van's front. While the others sat in the middle. Lissa and Victor talked to each other a lot, catching up on news. Natalie looked left out and kept trying to shift her father's attention from Lissa. It didn't work.
Spiridon was Dimitri's age, with spiky blond hair and a more casual attitude. Despite his Greek name, he had a Southern drawl. Spiridon said, "Don't worry, she'll have plenty when the time comes. Dimitri's already one of them. Odds are you'll be both of you together."
Jasmine said, "Spiridon. Do you know the Greek meaning Spiridon means basket? But in Latin, it means spirit". Saint Spyridon was a 4th-century sheep farmer who became the bishop of Tremithus and suffered during the persecutions of Diocletian." "Rose looked at Jasmine and said Nerd!" "Jasmine said, Dumb Ass!"
Dimitri gives Rose and Jasmine a smile that shows them, and he was, please. Dimitri understood Jasmine was making fun of Spiridon to his face and didn't he see it. Spiridon smiled at Jasmine.
Spiridon said, "do you have a boyfriend?" Jasmine said, "No!" Spiridon said, "It's sound like you need a good man to take care of you." Jasmine said, "I let you know. When I found one." Dimitri smiled. Spiridon smiled at Jasmine. Spiridon said, You get firecracker there." Spiridon laughed again and elbowed Dimitri. Dimitri was tiring of Spiridon elbowing in all the time. Dimitri said, "You do not know what Jasmine is like." Both Jasmine and Rose started laughing. Both Rose and Jasmine understood what Dimitri talking about. Jasmine took a drink from her cup again.
Spiridon asked, "did you give them a stake?" Dimitri said, "Rose isn't ready for a stake, as Jasmine already has one. Did you bring your stake with you?" Jasmine said, "Yes! I don't go anywhere without her." Reaching and tapping her jacket and said, I don't leave home without her.
(The Mall)
Rose and Jasmine think all of us felt relieved to get to the mall. Jasmine and Rose shifted into our bodyguard roles. Rose walked next to Lissa's side as Jasmine was on the other side of Natalie. Dimitri could see how Rose and Jasmine stand near Lissa or Natalie nearby. Seeing Jasmine would stop and search around the screen area while enjoying herself. We started wandered from store to store. Lissa and Natalie looking at all the new styles that were out there. It was nice to be in public again and to do something with her that was just fun.
Natalie didn't realize what was going on at all, still getting Victor to pay time to her. Coming to the Sports shop, Vasilisa glanced at Jasmine's face. Jasmine was peering through a window at something. Vasilisa remembering that Jasmine missed her favorite sport. Rose and Vasilisa stood next to Jasmine. Rose called Jasmine's name a few times and didn't get an answer. Jasmine didn't hear them. Vasilisa said, "Rose, stop!" Vasilisa could see Jasmine lost in her memories before the attack. Small tears came from Jasmine's eyes.
Vasilisa reached up, touching Jasmine's face wiped the tears from Jasmine's eyes. Dimitri stop and glanced at Rose, Vasilisa, and Jasmine standing at the sports shop. Jasmine came back and realized that lost memories. Vasilisa said, "I know you miss it." Jasmine said, "Yes! I miss it. But that is another life ago." Rose could see the pain on Jasmine's face. Rose said, let move on to the next shops. Jasmine said, "we need to make few stops. I have to get a few things that don't have to do with clothes and make-up." Vasilisa said, "not a problem." Dimitri looked in the window and Jasmine might have looked looking at. But he couldn't figure it out.

Vasilisa, Rose, Natalie, and Jasmine seen a raffle for a new car or win money. Vasilisa said, "that would be nice to win." Jasmine said, "let's enter it and see if we win anything. It could be fun." Jasmine, Rose, Vasilisa, and Natalie walked up to the man next to the raffle. Jasmine started reading rules to discover they could win the 2007 Ford Mustang in the color of black if you find the golden ticket. Green is money, Blue is for gift baskets, pink is the smaller prize and it white nothing.
Vasilisa said, "Jasmine is right. Let enter and if we win anything." Natalie said, "it could be fun." Victor said, "Girls do you enter and see if win anything?" Jasmine, Rose, Vasilisa, and Natalie turn to Victor and said, "yes all together." Victor smiled to see the girls happy for once. Victor seen Jasmine in front Sport shop and understood all memories of the good time, before that night. Dimitri said, "children!" Rose said, "relaxed Comrade." Jasmine and Vasilisa started giggling at Dimitri. Jasmine said, "it just fun. What are the changes that win anything?" Spiridon said, "there is nothing wrong with fun once in a blue moon." Jasmine said, "Spiridon talks funny." Making Natalie, Rose and Vasilisa giggle over Jasmine's joke.
The man said, "Reach your hand inside. If you pull out one of five colors that to see if win. Gold is Ford Mustang, Green is money, Blue is for gift baskets, pink is the smaller prize and it white nothing! Do you want to try for one prize?" Victor said, "try girls." Jasmine said, "Go head, Natalie." Vasilisa said, "you can do it." Natalie reached inside and pulled out one ticket and seen it was pink. Rose said, "you one of the small prizes." Natalie was so happy. Victor said, "that my girl."
Vasilisa said, "Rose, your turn." Rose reached inside, grabbed one ticket and pull it out. Open her hand and found it was a Green ticket. Natalie, Vasilisa, and Jasmine were happy to see that Rose won money. Dimitri knew Rose won money. Jasmine, Dimitri, Vasilisa, and Natalie, surprised by Rose, won the second biggest prize in the raft. Vasilisa said, "My turn." Reached inside a few seconds and pulled out a Blue ticket. Jasmine said, "Good Going Vasilisa, you gift baskets. Dimitri thought three of the girls won so far. Now it Jasmine's turn. Jasmine reached inside and pulled out one ticket. Opening her hand and found it was a Gold ticket! Spiridon said, Damn!" Jasmine is the big winner of the new mustang. Everyone stop and glanced that Jasmine was holding the golden ticket! The man said, "you get the Golden ticket. The only one in the whole raffle and win the new 2007 Black Ford Mustang." Jasmine said, "Damn!"
Dimitri walked up behind Jasmine, putting his hands on her shoulder, and said, "how in the world does this happen?" Jasmine said, "Luck!" Victor said, "What are the chances that all the girls win something?" Everyone stand clapping and Jasmine blushed being put on the spot. Victor said, it surprised Rose to find out that she won $1000 from the raffle. Vasilisa won fruit basked and beauty gift baskets. Natalie won a stuffed teddy bear with flowers. Victor said, "today is full of surprises." Jasmine said, "the day isn't over yet."
Dimitri and Jasmine hung around to get paperwork on the car. Dimitri looked at Jasmine as sitting quietly as the paperwork done. Thinking all things happening to Rose, Vasilisa and Jasmine might happen for a good or bad reason. The man asked the name of to put on the title. Dimitri speak up and said, "Dimitri Belikov." The man asked, "family?" Dimitri said, "the younger sister." Jasmine cocks her head at Dimitri, trying to understand why put his name on the tile.

Vasilisa said, "this is so you too Rose." Handing Rose a low-cut tank top embellished with lace. "I'll buy it for you," Rose said. Winter's coming. I'd get cold. Vasilisa said, "it never stopped you before." Shrugging, Vasilisa hung it back up. "But we have to buy clothes for Jasmine." Jasmine said, "Liss. I buy my own clothes." Vasilisa said, "it will be cold where you're going and don't want my guardian getting sick." Jasmine reached up touching Lissa's face and said, "thank you, Liss." Dimitri thought it was odd to Jasmine to show the softer side of Vasilisa.
Vasilisa said, "I can't have you going to Russia with only three thermal shirts and a hoodie. I am going to buy you more clothes." Jasmine said, "what wrong with my clothes?" Vasilisa said, "Nothing! You are going to need few more items of clothes. You show that best guardian that America has. Jasmine was looking at their BCBG jeans and said, "I think I will buy more clothes like Jeans, T-Shirts, long sleeves and few more items." Lissa said, "now that want I to talk here."
Vasilisa asked, "what is wrong?" Jasmine said, "There are a lot of things wrong. It seems no one wants to pay mind to it and act there isn't a problem." Rose asked, "What do you mean?" Jasmine said, "I worried something might happen to you while I away." Vasilisa said, "Rose and Guardian Belikov protecting me will you away." Rose said, "sissy. It will protect Vasilisa until you return and join by our side again." Jasmine looked at both Vasilisa. Rose and said, "thanks for listening to me. But later we will have a long talk." Vasilisa and Rose looked at each other and back at Jasmine getting the feeling that Jasmine had something to say and this wasn't the place for the talk.
Jasmine said, "can you help pick out the right dress for the dance that doesn't show the scar on my back." Vasilisa said, "Yes! Jasmine, Rose, Lissa, and Natalie had moved to the dress shop. Stopping in front of Dimitri and said, "we need to stop by the Lingerie shop. I need to pick up new bras." Rose said, "why do we need to stop there?" Jasmine said, "I think my bra getting smaller or my breasts are getting bigger." Spiridon went to take a drink and ended up hearing Jasmine talking about her breast getting bigger. Rose said, "that all we need your breast to get bigger." Jasmine said, "jealous!" Natalie, Lissa and Dimitri smiled. While Spiridon surprised, and spit his coffee out. Dimitri looked down at Spiridon and laughing. Dimitri gives Spiridon elbow to ribs.
Rose said, "why would I be jealous over your breasts?' Jasmine said, "maybe one day. You get out of your training bra." Lissa, Natalie started laughing to hear Rose and Jasmine talking about Rose's breasts. Rose said, "that not funny!" Dimitri and Spiridon biting the bottom lip from keeping laughing. Rose said, "don't all men like a big-breasted woman. Jasmine said, "any man that doesn't like big-breasted women are gay." That when Dimitri and Spirdon busted out laughing hard from listening to both Jasmine and Rose talking about big-breasted women. Jasmine, Natalie, Rose and Lissa started walking away from Dimitri and Spirdon, leaving them laugh silly.
(Dress Shop)
As Rose, Lissa, Jasmine, and Natalie moved on to the next shop for a dress. They started looking through new dresses. Founding Rose dress made of silky black material, the dress was strapless and sleek, falling about to the knees. Although it had a slight flare at the hemline, the rest looked like it would manage some serious clinging action and super sexy.
Vasilisa helped Jasmine search for a dress. Natalie said, "I don't understand why it so hard to find Jasmine's dress?" Jasmine turn looked at Natalie and didn't say, "nothing." Vasilisa said, "because of her scar on her back." Rose said, "painful reminder of that night four years ago." Natalie said, "I sorry! I didn't think that it would upset Jasmine."
Jasmine moved away from the other and seen a dress that she thought was a beauty. As Rose, Vasilisa and Natalie keep looking for a dress for Jasmine. Jasmine took the dress off the rack and walked over to the mirror to view at herself in the mirror. Vasilisa turns and sees Jasmine holding a beautiful dress. It was the lavender V-Neck long prom dress open back.
Vasilisa walked up and said, "Try it on."
Jasmine walked into the dressing room, put on the silk dress, and walking out to stand in front of the mirror. Vasilisa, Rose, and Natalie's mouths drop open to see Jasmine wearing his beautiful dress that came to the floor. The dress looked like made just for Jasmine. Dimitri came to see what girls were looking at Jasmine. Dimitri saw Jasmine wearing a beautiful dress in the color of lavender. A seen scar from her right shoulder and across her back. Thinking must have come that night four years ago.
Jasmine said, "we found something to hide my scar from everyone." Vasilisa said, "not a problem. We will find something to hide it. But this is your dress." Jasmine went back to the dress room change back to her clothes. Dimitri knew she was beauty inside and outside. Jasmine came out and said, "are we ready." Vasilisa asked, "you are you going to that dress?" Jasmine said, "Yes! I going to get a good deal on it is 75% off regular prices. Vasilisa said, "Discount rack." Rose said, "damn right." Dimitri thought smart and beautiful.
Jasmine paid for her dress with a debit card. Dimitri thought, where do you get your money. Thinking he would ask her later. Rose, Vasilisa, and Natalie dress was lot higher in prices than Jasmine dress.
Coming to the last shop, it was a jewelry store before returning to Academy. Jasmine lead against the wall, next to the door at the jewelry store so that she could eye in the mall. Dimitri said, "I like your dress." Jasmine said, "thank you!" Dimitri said, I saw your scar from shoulder to back. What happen? Jasmine looked painfully at the memory of that night. Saying first male strigoi did it? I try to get away, he cut my back. Before he took his turn on me that night. Cutting my back and laughing as if it was a joke to him. It's a reminder of what happened that night. The only scar that people can see. Dimitri could see the pain on Jasmine's face. Dimitri said, "Sorry!"
Jasmine asked, "so what going to happen to my mustang while I away?" Dimitri said, "I take care of it." Jasmine said, Can I drive home?" Dimitri said "No! You don't have a license." Jasmine said, "that hasn't stopped me before." Dimitri just smile at Jasmine.

Dimitri, Jasmine, walking outside of the Mall and find Jasmine's new 2007 black Ford Mustang sitting park lot next to the van. Natalie said, "Daddy! Jasmine so cools getting a new car." Stan said, "who drives the car home?" Dimitri said, "I am." Stan said, "isn't it Jasmine's car." Jasmine said, "Yes! But I don't have a license to drive." Rose said, "it hasn't stopped you before." Everyone started laughing.
Dimitri and Jasmine was in Ford Mustang and while everyone else was in the van. Jasmine fell to sleep in the passage seat, while Dimitri drove. Dimitri loved drive Jasmine Ford Mustang to feeling the horsepower under the hood. Reaching over, turn on the radio and found a 1980 music station. But keeping it low so that Jasmine could sleep.
Hearing Jasmine whimper and say, "stay away. Please, no more." Dimitri pulled over to the side of the road. Dimitri removed his duster and placing duster-covered Jasmine like a blanket. Leaning down in a calming voice saying, you have the power to stop them and make them go away. Find the power within to fight against them. Jasmine calms down as Dimitri speaks to her. Dimitri realized Jasmine must dream of want happen on the road four years ago. Now they have to turn into her nightmares.
Dimitri could feel that he was doing the right thing when it came to Jasmine and keeping her safe.
The radio change and started playing the song Ed Sheeran - I See Fire. Dimitri looked down at the radio and thought, how in world did the station change by itself. Dimitri started listening to song and thought Jasmine must feeling this way. He was going to write in a journal that he was keeping on Jasmine.
