The left paddle called to the right "I only have 30 minutes - let's play."

"What if we change the rules for fun?" Right asked.

"What if we switch sides every point?" Left proposed.

"What if we play upside-down?"

"What if we try just one-handed?"

"What if we keep score with Roman numerals?"

"What if you have to name a state before you hit the ball?"

"What if we hold our breath?"

All the time passed asking questions and Left had to leave.

Lesson: Spend TOO long on "What if" and you'll never have a "What was".
