(December 22)
Jasmine walked into class on bodyguard theory, stopping in her tracks. Viewing a woman standing there with her auburn hair cropped and curly, her brown eyes are currently narrowed in thought. Jasmine's face shows the surprise on her face. "Thinking to himself, who is that woman, and why is Jasmine surprised that she is here?"
Jasmine approached her mother and said, "Hello! Mommy! " Janine's head jolted up, making her pause in her thoughts. Janine added, "My little angel." Jasmine asked, "How have you been?" "Wonderful," stated Janine. Jasmine said. I am surprised that you came to the academy. So what brings you to the academy? " Janine said, "Pass events."
Jasmine said, "I guess you were surprised to hear that one of your daughters got into an international program." Jasmine inquired, "What international program?" Jasmine said, "I guess that Head Mistress Kirova didn't send me a message to inform you that I got into the international program and was sent to St. Basil's Academy in Russia." Janine had a shape tone by saying "NO!"
Jasmine said, "Well, I need to have my instructor sign this form." Janine grabbed the file from Jasmine's hand. Janine opened it and began to examine it. "I notice you obtain great marks in your classes," Janine said, after glancing at the various papers. Jasmine said, "Yes!" Jasmine exclaimed. Janine asked, "You finished the program in two months?" Janine said, "But you spent three months in Russia." You were sent to Basil's academy in Russia to be instructed by the best guardians in the world for two months and spent a month living with the Belikov family. " Jasmine said, "Yes!"
Guardian Belikov is Rosie and my mentor while here at the academy. " Janine said, "Interesting!" Janine closed her file and said, "Go sit down." I will get paper to sign for you. It gets back at the end of class. Jasmine said, "Yes, Mommy." Jasmine spun and dashed to her seat.
Dimitri thought to himself, who was this woman that held power over this baby girl? Damon said, "What's wrong?" Dimitri said, "Who is that woman in front of the class?" Damon said, "Guardian, Janine Hathaway." Rose and Jasmine's mother. Guardian Janine Hathaway had a pretty stellar reputation in the guardian world. " Dimitri thought, "Holy shit! Now I understand why Jasmine was surprised to see her mother here. What is going to happen when Rose realizes that her mother is here?
Dimitri saw Rose walking with Mason. Rose, glancing at her mother with surprise, was happy or not. Rose sat down at her desk and looked over at Jasmine, who still looked worried that she might get in trouble for something. Rose and Jasmine are so different from each other, like day and night. But to see Janine Hathaway make them worried or scared at the drop of a hat.
As the class begins, each of the guardians starts with stories about saving the day. Damon was watching Jasmine and wanted so much to hold Jasmine in his arms and make her worries go away. As Jasmine played with her hair when scared. Dimitri watched Damon and see the worry on his face as watch Jasmine. Thinking to himself, damn you, could stop watching at her. Miss Hathaway. Stan's deep voice rumbled through the room. "Please take your things and go wait outside for the remainder of the class." Jasmine started reached grabbed her things. Dimitri put his hand on his shoulder, said, "stay calm and low voice, not you. They kicked Roza out of class. Jasmine looked worried. Dimitri said, "just relax."
(About five minutes)
Before the class let out, Janine slipped out of the room and walked over to where Rose sat in the hallway. Janine was looking down at Rose when she put her hands on her hips in that annoying way that made Janine seem taller than Rose was. It wasn't fair that someone over half a foot shorter than Rose could make Rose feel so small.
Janine said, "Well!" Your manners haven't improved over the years. Jasmine still has manners. Rose stood up and felt a glare snap into place. Rose said, "Nice to see you too, Mother!" I'm surprised you even recognized me. In fact, I didn't even think you remembered me, seeing as how you never bothered or let us know you were on campus. "
Janine shifted her hands from her hips and crossed her arms across her chest, becoming, if possible, even more impassive. I couldn't neglect my duty to come to coddle you. Coddle? Rose said, "Coddle!" Janine said, "I wouldn't expect you to understand." From what I hear, you don't really know what duty is. Not like your sister does. Rose said, "You know nothing about Jasmine and me." I wouldn't exactly say you would understand. We do it better than most people do, Mother.
Janine's eyes widened in a sort of mock surprise. Janine used that sarcastic look on many people and didn't appreciate having it directed toward Rose. "Janine said, Oh really? Where were you for the last year? " Rose demanded, "Where were you for the last five?" Would you have known we were gone if someone hadn't told you? Janine said, "Don't turn this back on me." I was away because I had to be. You were away. So you could go shopping and stay up late. "
Rose said, "You know, fucking idea why we leave." Rose's voice volume is rising. "And you have no right to make assumptions about our lives." When you know nothing about it. " There was no one we could go to. When we didn't have hard proof. Besides, we've been learning that we're supposed to think independently. Janine said, On learning. Something you missed out on for a year. You're hardly in the able position to lecture me about guardian protocol. Jasmine keeps up with the train. Something missed out.
Rose said, "Yeah? Well, that's not what my teachers think. Even after missing all that time, I've still caught up with everyone else in my class. " Janine didn't answer right away. Finally, in a flat voice, she said, "If you hadn't left, you would have surpassed them like your sister Jasmine has." Rose said, "You always loved Jasmine more than me." Janine looked hard at Rose and turned to the door. Janine said, "No! Rose. I love both. But right now, I have to go be with your sister. " Janine walked inside the classroom and left Rose in the hall.
Jasmine stood in the middle of Dimitri and Damon, waiting for Janine to walk back into class. Janine walks up to all three of them. Janine said, " which one of you is Guardian Belikov?" Dimitri said, "I am!" Janine said, "I would like to speak alone." Jasmine was playing with her French braid again. Dimitri said, "That would be pleasant Guardian Hathaway."
Janine turns back to Jasmine, handing the file back to Jasmine. Jasmine reached out, taking the file carefully and pulling it to herself. Janine said, "The paper has been a sign." Now go to your next class." Jasmine said, in a small voice, "Yes! Mommy." turned and started walking away with Damon right behind her.
(Gym)
Jasmine walking to GYM, before everyone else gets to the gym. Sit down on one mat and open one notebook. Start reading information on the control of the powers. Dimitri opens the Gym door and discovers Jasmine sitting one mat reading a notebook. Dimitri walked up to her, Jasmine and said, "Guardian Hathaway is unhappy with academy right now. She stormed right into Head Mistress Kirova's office. Information Kirova didn't send messages to inform her that daughter Jasmine gets into the international program after the fact. Jasmine said, "Good thing that you're still alive." Dimitri said, "Guardian Hathaway lead into me after Damon and you left." Jasmine said, "I sorry! But I guess want mommy do." Dimitri laughing. Jasmine said, "I almost lost control of my powers in front of my Mommy and everyone." Dimitri said, "I caught you before break free." Jasmine said, "Thank you! If you can't tell my mother makes me nerves." Dimitri said, "I total understand why."
The gym door swigs open, Rose came storming into the gym and walked up to one dummy. Rose said, "The heart is there, the sternum and ribs are in the way. Can I have the stake now?" Jasmine answered "No!" Dimitri, Rose turn and look at Jasmine. Jasmine stood up and said, "you are not ready." Rose said, "why not?" Jasmine and walked over to Rose and said, "Your letting your emotes control you and your upset with our Mother right now." Rose said, "Damn right! I am upset with our mother."
Jasmine said, "I didn't have a choice to make my first kill. But I want you to have a choice. If you still want to learn, Cowboy can to teach you by giving you a practice stake and not a real one." Dimitri thought Jasmine wants Roze to have a choice! Everyone has a choice.
Dimitri said, "How do you get through the sternum and the ribs?" Rose had an unhappy look on her face. Jasmine said, "I know this answer." Dimitri said, "I know you know and now sit down." Rose sighed. Rose figured out the answer to one question, only to be given another. Dimitri knew in time Roza would be ready. But not to day Jasmine was right. Thought a choice! What the hell was twin so different from each other and same at time. Which made Dimitri smile little without Rose or Jasmine seeing.
Rose and Dimitri spent a large part of the practice going over that, and he demonstrated several techniques that would yield the quickest kill. Every movement he made was both graceful and deadly. Dimitri made it look effortless, Jasmine knew better. Dimitri suddenly extended his hand and offered the practice stake to me. Keep real one for himself.
