Jasmine walked upstairs and saw Dimitri getting dressed. Jasmine said, "Cowboy." Dimitri said, "Hello! baby girl. So what are you going to do today? " Jasmine said, "I am going to get hammered!" "Where are you running off to?" Dimitri said, "I'm going to invite Tasha to a Christmas brunch in an elegant parlor in the academy's guest quarters." Dimitri turns around to see that Jasmine holding a bottle of Jack Daniels in black, wearing a white crop top and black leggings with her hair down. Jasmine went to take a drink from the bottle and said, "Whore in Russian."
Dimitri said, "Didn't Tasha invite you?" Jasmine said, "Nope!" Dimitri said, "Why don't you come as my guest?" Jasmine said, "Sure! It sounds like a great idea. While I sit back, and shit hit fan. " Dimitri said, "What do you mean?" Jasmine said, "I am watching you make out with Natasha." Rosie gets mad at you and goes to screw Mason. Vasilissa and Christian will pair off together. Meanwhile, I sit alone in the corner, and watch shit the fan makes like a fucking party.
Jasmine walked over, grabbed the bottle from Jasmine, and said, "Go get a pretty dress." Jasmine turned around and walked downstairs. Dimitri takes the drink from the bottle and puts the top on the bottle. "Thinking to himself, what am I going to do with this girl?"
Dimitri and Jasmine arrived together at the gathering. Dimitri informs Jasmine to be nice to Tasha. Jasmine looked at Dimitri and said, "I will try to be nice to your new playmate." Dimitri said, "Tasha isn't my playmate." She is a friend. " Jasmine said, "Your friend that got hot for you." You're too blind to see it. "Dimitri said, "Stop! Jasmine said," Why? "I am just expressing myself." Dimitri smiled at Jasmine and said, "I know you sound like Roza." Jasmine said, "We are twins." Why do people keep forgetting that fact? "
Jasmine and Rose noticed Dimitri wasn't Rose or anything. But he certainly didn't make conversation with us. He talked to Tasha, however, and both Jasmine and Rose watched with fascination as they conversed in that easy way of theirs. Rose asked, "Sissy?" Jasmine said, "I see Natasha invited you to her party." But Natasha didn't invite me at all. "Dimitri brings me here as his guest." Rose said, "That is not friendly with her. Jasmine said, "This is bullshit!"
Mason came up and said, "Hello, Rose." Jasmine said, "Hello! "Ducky!" Mason said, "When did you get here?" Jasmine just looked at Mason with an unhappy look on her face. Rose said, "Jazz came with Dimitri." "Tasha didn't invite Jasmine at all." Mason said, "That sucks for Jazz." Rose, can I talk to you? Rose said, "Yes!" Jasmine said, "No! I talked to her. "Wait your turn."
Mason and Rose could see Jasmine's eyes had changed color to gold and not her normal light brown. Mason said, "Jazz, your eyes change color to a beautiful gold color." Rose said, "Calm down, sissy." Jasmine said, "That bitch is doing it again." Rose asked, "What?" Jasmine said, "Natasha compelled Dimitri again, like in the cabin." Mason, surprised to see Jazz, had caught Tasha compel someone.
Jasmine moved away from Mason and Rose to head straight at Natasha and Dimitri. Jasmine stepped in front of Dimitri, breaking the compulsion between Dimitri and Natasha. Jasmine looked into Natasha's eyes and said, "Stop!" Natasha looked surprised to notice that someone would step in front of her and stare at her in the eyes without fear. Dimitri came to normal and asked, "What is going on?" Rose said, "Natasha compelled you again." Tasha said, "No! I wasn't, "Jasmine said," "Bullshit! Rosie and Mason saw it. " Dimitri said, "Jasmine!"
Jasmine looked over her shoulder so that Dimitri could see that Jasmine's eyes were golden and not the normal light brown with gold flicks in them. The fire grows hotter and sends strikes out of the fire. Dimitri said, "Jasmine! We need to talk. "What is going on with you?" he pulled Jasmine away from Tasha and asked, "What is going on with you?" Jasmine said, "Natasha was compelled to speak to you again." Dimitri said, "Calm down! When Jasmine said, "I will calm down." When I fucking feel like it! " Dimitri knew soon that Jasmine's powers might show their heads.
Dimitri said, "Maybe I shouldn't bring you to this party." Jasmine said, "You should become her guardian." So you don't have to worry about Rosie or me any more. After Grandmother Yeva informs you, you are the keeper. You must take care of me. All you care about is getting fucking laid. "You are worse than a fuck strigoi." Dimitri was surprised that Jasmine knew Tasha had asked him to be her guardian.
Jasmine moved away from Dimitri and sat down on a chair, away from everyone. Jasmine started singing to herself, trying to calm herself. She sang the song "Warrior" that she had written for herself. Dimitri knew Jasmine was right. He recalled that his grandmother told him to take care of Jasmine.
The door opened and Janine walked into the room. Tasha said, "It's good to see you, Janine." It's good that he came." Our mother stood there, looking as stiff and impassive as ever. "Sorry I'm late," Janine said. "I had business to take care of." Janine sat down at the table with everyone else and soon joined in the conversation. Jasmine had long since discovered she could only talk about one subject: guardian business.
Christian looked up to find Jasmine sitting by herself with an unhappy look on her face and singing to herself. Christian, get up from this seat next to Vasilisa and move to the one next to Jasmine. Christian asked, "Is everything alright?" Jasmine looked up and said, "No! Your Aunt Natasha didn't invite me to this party. She has been compelled to ask Dimitri to be her guardian. Christian looked at Jasmine. Christian said, "I have a talk with her." Jasmine said, "She just lye about it." But unknown to her, she caught it all on video. " Christian said, "My girl!"
Christian took Jasmine's hand and led her to the table with everyone. Christian sat down in one chair at the table, pulled Jasmine into his lap, and put his arms around her. Dimitri saw what Christian was doing in front of everyone.
Jasmine started feeling her powers start burning in her chest. The fire in the fireplace burned hotter, which sent sparks out of the fireplace. The temperature started rising, making the room feel hotter than normal. Everyone started feeling it was harder to breathe for everyone. The wax on the candles started burning faster and the flames on the candles grew larger than normal. The wine in the bottles and wine glasses started boiling. The wine bottle and wine glasses broke, making the wine boil on the table.
Christian asked, "Aunt Tasha?" Did you forget to invite anyone to Christmas brunch? " Tasha said, "No!" Christian said, "Bullshit! You didn't invite my best friend Jasmine. " Tasha realized Jasmine was Christian's best friend. Vasilisa looked surprised to find out that Tasha didn't invite Jazz to the party. Everyone was looking at Tasha and finding out that she didn't invite Jasmine.
Tasha said, "I thought Jasmine might go to other parties here at the academy." Christian said, "Jasmine doesn't go too wild at parties." She is the one to throw the wild party. You misjudge her by her past and do not see her true beauty from within. Jasmine was there for me. Everyone wasn't. Jasmine didn't judge me for my past. But you judge her for her past. When you should understand her and know what it is like to be judged for something you couldn't control.
Janine said, "How dare Natasha Ozera?" Tasha looked at Janine, surprised that Janine was talking to her about her Jasmine. Jasmine is the best novice here at St. Vladimir's Academy. They put Jasmine in the international program and sent her to St. Basil's academy in Russia. Stand a month with guardians, the Belikov family. When the sprinklers go off and water rains down on everything. Christian said, "Good going, Aunt Tasha." Christian leaves the room behind everyone and slams the door behind him.

When Rose and Jasmine boarded the jet, both were wearing sun shades so that no one could see their eyes. Dimitri could see Jasmine and Rose both walking on the jet. Rose and Jasmine turn to examine Vasilisa and Christian, sitting next to each other. Mason waved Rose over and said, "Over here, beautiful." Rose walked to the left side of the jet. Damon said, "Jasmine!" Jasmine went to the right side of the jet and sat down next to Damon, across from Dimitri and Tasha.
Neither Jasmine nor Rose didn't pay attention to Natasha or Dimitri. Dimitri gets the feeling. They pointedly ignored them, both of them and Tasha, for something. Damon picked up Jasmine's hand and kissed her right hand, while Rose and Mason held hands on another side of the plane. Dimitri could see both at the same time. But he didn't like seeing Damon on Jasmine's hand in front of him, which made him mad.
Tasha asked, "Dimka, something wrong?" Dimitri said, "I upset my students with me about something." Tasha said, "These are children." They get over it. " Dimitri said, "I don't think so," Dimitri said. Both Roza and Jazz are not children. "
Damon said a little loudly for everyone to hear in the jet. "Did you hear the news that Princess Vasilisa Dragomir could be losing her Guardian Belikov?" Jasmine said, "No! Why in the hell would Guardian Dimitri Belikov want to leave Princess Vasilisa Dragomir for another Moroi? " Damon said, "I hear it's Natasha Ozera." Dimitri knew Jasmine was right; that he would have to choose to stay with Vasilisa or lose Jasmine forever. Damon said, "The choice should be easy to stay with Princess Vasilisa Dragomir and our family. Family is the most important thing in this world. Natasha didn't understand what Jasmine or Damon were talking about. But Dimitri understands that he would have chosen his family or friend.
Captain Alberta's voice rang throughout the jet and said, "Guardian Dimitri Belikov!" Jasmine said, "Oops! Was I being too loud again? " Damon said, "No!" Dimitri looked up to find Captain Alberta storming down the alley, heading straight at him. Dimitri swears in Russian again. (Ой! Дерьмо) (Meaning : Oh! Shit).
(The resort)
The resort was gorgeous. It built to sort of look like a log cabin, but no pioneer cabin could have held hundreds of people or had such luxury accommodations. Three stories of gleaming, golden-colored wood sat among lofty pine trees. The windows were tall and gracefully arched, tinted for Moroi convenience. Crystal lanterns- electric, but shaped to look like torches- hung around all the entrances, giving the entire building a glittering, almost bejeweled look.
Mountains - which my enhanced eyes could just barely make out in the night - surrounded us, and I bet the view would have been breathtaking when it was light out. One side of the grounds led off to the skiing area, complete with steep hills and moguls, as well as lifts and tow ropes. Another side of the lodge had an indoor ice rink, which delighted me since Jasmine missed out that one day by the cabin. Near that, they reserved smooth hills for sledding.
Damon helps Jasmine get out of the SUV and with her bags. Dimitri saw Jasmine smiling while looking at the log cabin. Rose and Mason get out of the SUV together. Mason was over the moon just to be with Rose. Dimitri didn't like how Mason was smiling at Rose, and Damon kept smiling at Jasmine. But Jasmine wasn't because of Damon.
Jasmine said, "This place is so pretty!" Christian said, "Jazz, you sound so girly." Rose said, "Shut up, Sparky!" Dimitri and Damon that it cute that Jasmine was acting like girl for once. Vasilissa said, It is beautiful Jazz!
Jasmine said, "We need to have a snowball fight or play dodge wars." Mason said, "We hadn't had a good dodge war in years." Jasmine said, "Pyro! Be our Moroi. " Christian said, "I would love to be your Moroi and give her one of his smiles." Vasilisa said, "Someone gets hurt. How do you play dodge war? " Rose said, "Vasilissa should play for once in your life." Eddie said, "Few people end up in the hospital wing." Mason said, "It only happens a few times." Damon said, "We could get the other novices and guardians to play."
Dimitri looked at Rose, Jasmine, Damon, and Mason and thought, "These dodge wars sound fun." Tasha asked, "What is Dodge Wars?" Captain Alberta said, "It's a practice that the children created." There are two teams, with one Moroi for each team. The Novices and Guardians portent their Moroi from other teams while trying to steel the other teams' Moroi. The red and blue teams have to go across the field, fighting their way through the other team, steal the other Moroi, and get across the field with the other team Moroi. Eddie said, "Last time we played it took three days." Captain Alberta said, "That was leaning to expressions for everyone."
The main lobby had a cathedral ceiling and an enormous chandelier hanging over it. It was an intricately tiled floor of marble, and the front desk stayed open around the clock, ready to indulge our every need. The rest of the lodge, including hallways and lounges, had a red, black, and gold color scheme. The deep shade of red dominated over the other hues, and I wondered if its resemblance to blood was a coincidence. Mirrors and art adorned the walls, and someone had placed little ornamental tables here and there. They held vases of pale green, purple-spotted orchids that filled the air with a spicy scent.
Lissa and Rose shared a room together, while Christian and Jasmine shared a room together. It was bigger than our dorm rooms put together and had the same rich colors as the rest of the lodge. They plan to have a triple date with Rose, Mason, Christian, Vasilissa, Jasmine, and Damon for skiing. Almost all the first-day skiing was done, though the two Moroi had a bit of trouble keeping up. Considering what Mason, Rose, Damon, and Jasmine went through in our classes,

Mason grinned as we skidded to a halt, sending up a spray of snow all over Vasilisa and Christian. Vasilisa shook her head. "Aren't you guys taking this too far?" Mason and Rose looked at each other and said, "No." Vasilisa said, "Well, we're going inside." Try not to kill yourselves. Damon said, "Yes! "Mommy." Everyone started laughing. Christian smiled and laughed. Vasilisa said, "Damn children.
Dimitri stands nearby with Tasha and watches Damon with Jasmine. As for Tasha, she wasn't paying attention to what was happening around her as she talked to someone she knew. Jasmine turns to Damon and says, "I am getting a little cold. I'm going back inside. " Damon moved closer, pulling his arm around Jasmine towards him. Dimitri noticed Jasmine didn't like having Damon's arm around her. Dimitri moved away from Tasha and headed straight to where Jasmine stood next to Damon. Dimitri said, "Guardian Damon!" Damon turned his head to see Dimitri standing behind Jasmine. Damon moved his arm away from Jasmine's waste. Dimitri put his hand on Jasmine's shoulders and Jasmine head to look at Dimitri. Jasmine said, Thank you! Dimitri nod his head.
Dimitri could hear Mason and Rose talking about Jasmine. Mason asked, "Is it Damon, the guardian?" Rose said, "Yes!" Mason said Damon and Jasmine are together. Rose answered, "No! Mason said, "They spent a lot of time together after the attack on Jasmine." Rose said, "You know that attack on Jasmine?" Mason said, "Yes! Christian and I went to visit Jasmine in the hospital wing after the attack every day. Jasmine told us what happened and Christian held her in his arms as she cried for hours. "
Dimitri thought he could understand why Christian and Mason would go to the hospital after the attack. Jasmine was raped by four strigoi after an ice-skating partner, Dakota, and strigoi killed five guardians, killed about ten miles about ten miles from the academy.

Mason and Rose take the lift back up to the top of the hill to ski some more. This course was as hard as I'd feared, but Rose pulled it off flawlessly, one insane move after another. Snow flew up around me as Rose made each sharp, dangerous turn. When Rose safely reached bottom, Rose, Jasmine, and Damon looked up and saw Mason gesturing wildly. Rose couldn't make out his expression or words, but Rose could imagine his cheers. They waved back and waited for him to follow suit. But Mason didn't. Because when Mason got halfway down, he wasn't able to pull off one jump. His skis caught, and his legs twisted. Down he went.
Jasmine yelled, "Ducky!" When Jasmine, Rose, Dimitri and Damon reached Mason at about the same time, some of the resort staff did. To everyone's relief, Mason hadn't broken his neck or anything else. His ankle appeared to have a nasty sprain, however, which was probably going to limit his skiing for the rest of the trip. Jasmine said, "Ducky! How are you doing?" Mason said, "fucked up." Damon said, "you need more careful on the jumps."
One instructor monitoring the slopes ran forward, fury all over her face. Started yelling Rose, Mason, Jasmine and Damon. Dimitri said, "please calm yourself and you just making it worst for them. Stuff like this happens all the time. Jasmine knew Dimitri was doing the best thing for them. A female instructor said, "What were you kid thinking? She turned on Rose and Jasmine and looked surprise to find twin. I couldn't believe it when you did those stupid stunts!" Her glare fixed on Mason next. "And then you had to copy her!"
