(Jasmine Spirit dream)
Jasmine started to dream that she stood on the porch next to the rail looking at the mountains. The air was balmy and warm, and the sun hung bright in the sky, coating everything in golden light. She could hear the birds sing in the sky and feel the sunshine on her face and chest.
When a voice came from behind her and said, "Hello! Jasmine spins around to find Adrian Ivashkov sitting behind her in a chair, drinking iced tea. You look nice today. Jasmine looked down at the little blue sundress. Jasmine said, "Thank you, Adrian." Adrian smiles and you're welcome.
Jasmine said, "You aren't smoking." Adrian said, "Bad habit." Jasmine smiled at him. Adrian said, "You're wearing protection." Jasmine looked down and saw her necklace heart with broken angel wings. I looked back up at Adrian, studying the way the sun shone off his brown hair. Here, in full daylight, I could see that his eyes were indeed green-a deep emerald as opposed to Lissa's pale jade. Something startling suddenly occurred to me.
Jasmine asked, "Doesn't all this sun bother you?" He gave a lazy shrug. "Nah. It's my dream. Jasmine said, "No, it's my dream." The storm is coming in point over mountains and dark clouds. Adrian could see dark clouds over the mountains. "Are you sure? " His smile returned. Jasmine said, "I don't know."
He chuckled, but a moment later, the laughter faded. For the first time since I'd met him, he looked serious. Adrian said, "Wow!" I have met no one like you. They're something to aura around you like a Nova. Jasmine said, "What does that mean?" Is that good or bad? " Adrian said, "Your sister Rose is different as well?" Jasmine said, like being surrounded by blackness, like shadows. Adrian said, "Yes!" Have you seen it too? " Jasmine said, "Sometimes you get people's feelings to go with it." Adrian said, "Come to my room and let's talk." Jasmine started disappearing from the dream.
Christian stood next to Jasmine's bed. Jasmine said, "Something wrong, Pyro?" Christian said, "Yes, there's been another Strigoi attack." Jasmine sprung out of her bed and grabbed her boots and jacket before heading out the door with Christian on her heels. Christian could see how fast Jasmine was.
As a Christian, Jasmine headed to Vasilissa and Rose as fast as their feet could carry them. Christian said, "Slow down your lot faster than me." Jasmine said, "Before you can fight, You are going to start doing laps like Rose and me. It makes it faster in just case we have run." Christian said, "Doing laps before I can fight?" Jasmine said, "Yes! Besides, could you take time to think about coming up with a plan? " Christian could understand the idea.
Vasilissa called out to both Jasmine and Christian. Jasmine asked, "Who do we talk to, Cowboy or Mommy?" Rose said, "Janine! Vasilissa and Christian looked at each other to see that they wanted to speak to Mom and not Dimitri. Jasmine started putting on her boots while talking to Rose, Vasilissa, and Christian.
The door to our mother's room was ajar, and as Vasilissa, Rose, Christian, and Jasmine entered, we saw that a sort of makeshift headquarters had been established here. Lots of guardians were milling around, moving in and out, and discussing strategy. A few gave us odd looks, but no one stopped or questioned us. Vasilissa, Rose, and Christian slid onto a small sofa. While Jasmine stood next to them to listen to a conversation Janine was having,
Janine stood with a group of guardians, one of whom was Dimitri. Rose was trying to avoid him. His brown eyes glanced at all of us briefly, and Rose averted her gaze. Jasmine didn't want to deal with Rose's troubled feelings for him right now.
Vasilissa, Rose, Christian, and Jasmine soon discerned the details. Eight had killed Moroi, along with their five guardians. Three Moroi were missing, either dead or turned into Strigoi. The attack hadn't really happened near here; it had been somewhere in northern California. Nonetheless, a tragedy like this couldn't help but reverberate within the Moroi world, and for some, two states away was far too close. People were terrified. Rose and Jasmine soon learned what in particular made this attack so notable.
My mother hesitated, then said, "Yes." More broken wards. And the way it was all conducted... it's identical to the Badica attack." Dimitri looked up to see Jasmine standing next to him and her mother. Jasmine said, "The first thing that you need to know which Royle family is in this part of the country. Then you are more likely to find which family might be on the list of takeout. Janine looked at Jasmine, thinking she was right. Telling one guardian found that Royle family is at. The male guardian said it will take a while to get that information. Jasmine said, "You better get started." The male guardian looked at Janine and saw her node head.
Jasmine asked, "Did they leave a message?" Dimitri said "Yes, just like before." Jasmine was looking at the layout of the venue and asked. "which doors were locked to them inside." Janine started to point at the doors. Jasmine said, "Has anyone thought the Drozdovs were cattle to the slot? By locking doors and keeping them inside, while the strigoi took out the guardians, it was best attacked."
Jasmine said, "It looked as though that group of Strigoi hadn't been a random occurrence. They'd united with purpose, utilized humans strategically, and had attacked again. We now had what could be a pattern: stigoi actively seeking large groups of prey. What if the strigoi had humans inside the venue? The humans could have locked the doors to keep the Drozdovs from letting strigoi in when the attack happened. Totally catching guardians with a full surprise attack or when the shift changes." Dimitri and Janine were surprised that Jasmine was coming up with new ideas about what could happen.
Jasmine said, "Is there any footage from the outside of the venue that could show us how many Strigoi were in the attack on the Drozdovs family?" No one said anything. Jasmine looked up at Dimitri and her mother. Janine said, "There were videos outside of the venue." Jasmine said, "There is your answer." Janine said, "Get the tapes." Dimitri said, "Great job, Jasmine, for thinking outside the box." Jasmine smiled and looked down again.
Janine asked, "Guardian Belikov, is this what you have been teaching my children?" Jasmine said, "No! He too busy playing with a new playmate. This want I would do if I was going to attack." Dimitri said, "Not my playmate. She a friend." Jasmine looked up and said, Bullshit! Beside you smell like cheap sex, shame and too much aftershave." Janine said, "Jasmine!" Jasmine moves her eyes back down to the table. Vasilissa, Rose, Christian and guardians started to laugh at Dimitri.
(The meeting)
With so many royals and other important Moroi at the lodge, they organized a meeting that night to discuss what had happened and what they might do in the future. Nothing official would be decided here; the Moroi had a queen and a governing council elsewhere for those types of decisions. Everyone knew, though, that opinions gathered here would make their way up the chain of command. Our own future safety could very well depend on what we discussed in this meeting.
I held it in an enormous banquet hall inside the lodge, one with a podium and plenty of seating. Despite the businesslike atmosphere, you could tell this room had been designed for things other than meetings about massacres and defense. The carpet had the texture of velvet and showed an ornate floral design in shades of silver and black. I made the chairs of black polished wood and they had high backs, clearly intended for fancy dining. Paintings of long-dead Moroi royalty hung on the walls. I stared briefly at one of a queen whose name I didn't know. She wore an old-fashioned dress- too heavy on lace for my tastes-and had pale hair like Vasilissa.
Some guy I didn't know was too moderate and stood at the podium. Most of the royals gathered at the front of the room. Everyone else, including students, took seats wherever they could. Christian and Mason had found Vasilissa, Rose, and Jasmine by that point, and we were all sitting in the back when Vasilissa suddenly shook her head.
Christian scoffed. "It's all a bunch of royal bullshit. Jasmine smiled at Christian. Vasilissa's face was set into a determined expression. I need to be up there. I also liked the idea of her defying Christian. Vasilissa met Rose's eyes and smiled. She knew what Rosa had sensed. A moment later, she turned to Christian. "You should join your aunt," Jasmine growled. Vasilissa said, "Play nice." Christian opened his mouth to protest. If not for the horribleness of the situation, seeing Vasilissa order him around would have been funny. He was always stubborn and difficult; those who tried to push him didn't succeed. Watching his face, we saw the same realization I'd had about Vasilissa come over him. He enjoyed seeing her strong, too. He pressed his lips together in a grimace.
Christian said, "Okay." He took her hand, and the two of them walked off toward the front. Meanwhile, Mason, Rose, and Jasmine sit in the back together. There is a space between Jasmine and Rose, where Christian sits before getting up.
Just before things started, Dimitri sat down on the other side of Rose and Jasmine, his hair tied behind his neck and the leather coat draping around him as he settled into the chair. We glanced at him in surprise but said nothing. There were few guardians at this gathering; most were too busy doing damage control. It would figure. There Rose was, stuck between both of her men. The meeting kicked off shortly thereafter. Everyone was eager to talk about how they thought we should save the Moroi, but really, two theories got the most attention.
"The answer's all around us," said one royal, once I had given him leave to speak. He stood by his chair and looked around the room. "Here in places like this lodge and St. Vladimir's. We send our children to safe places, places where they have safety in numbers and can easily guard. And look how many of us made it here, children and adults alike. Why don't we live this way all the time? "
Jasmine said under her breath that we better shit do it. Then kiss your royal asses. Dimitri turned and looked at Jasmine. Dimitri said, "Quiet you!" Rose and Mason smiled and giggled. "Plenty of us already do," someone shouted back. Rose and Mason started laughing harder. Dimitri smiled.
Adrian sits down next to Jasmine, giving a sexy smile to Jasmine.
Jasmine said, "Hello! Adrian." Adrian said, "Hello! Nova."
Dimitri looked at Adrian with an unhappy look on his face. Adrian said, "Your eyes are changing color to a nice beautiful gold." Jasmine turned her head away and looked at Dimitri. Dimitri could see Jasmine's eyes. lending down, and said to stay calm. Jasmine stood up and grabbed her coat and leaving the hall behind.
(After the meeting)
Dimitri stood up, disgust all over his features as he surveyed the chaos. "You might as well leave," Dimitri said. "Nothing useful's going to happen now."
Rose stepped out into the hall after Dimitri. Mason wanted to talk to Tasha.
"What is wrong with Jasmine?" Dimitri asked. Rosa said, "You haven't been around Jasmine for over ten minutes to realize that Jasmine is having trouble controlling her powers and emotions." All this time, you had your nose so far up Tasha's ass. Jasmine needs help realizing that she needs help. Jasmine is crying out in pain, and you are too blind to see it." Dimitri raised an eyebrow at Rose.
Rosa said, "So you have decided to be Natasha's guardian, and she's going to give you fringe benefits. I am so fucking happy for both of you. Now that you don't have time to put up with Jasmine and me anymore. You can do as you fucking please. "
Dimitri said, "What happens between Tasha and me is none of your business." Rose said, "Bullshit! It is my fucking business. You fuck lied to Jasmine. Would you tell Sissy that you would help her? That you would help her control her powers. So it makes it my business. But you have failed again to understand Jasmine's crying in pain. But all you give a damn is that two-bit blood-whore and getting your dick sucked. Is that more important than my sister? Some of your friends are Unlike you, I have to go find my little sister and help her. So this conversation was over, and Rose turned around and started walking away.
Dimitri realized Rose was right. He failed Jasmine. Adrian Ivashkov stepped out the door in front of Rose. Adrian said, "I always knew something about Jasmine. She shines like a supernova. So what is her power?
Dimitri looked up to see Adrian Ivashkov standing in front of Rose. Dimitri said, "What do you know about Jasmine?" Adrian said, "She has more power than Moroi on this planet." Dimitri said, "Stay away from her." Adrian said, "You are never around her, and Jasmine needs help." So you don't have to worry about Jasmine anymore. You play with a crazy, two bit blood whore. I will take care of Jasmine and all her needs. She will become my new guardian.
Rose said, "What do you want?" Adrian studied me for a moment. "I want you to grab Vasilisa and come with me." We found Jasmine, and we're going to have some fun. You'll probably want a swimsuit, too. Unless you want to go naked. Dimitri said, "Do nothing stupid." Rose said, "Something wrong, Guardian Belikov?" Rose unearthed my man-eating smile, one I hadn't used to full effect in some time on Adrian. Dimitri's dark eyes looked at us stonily. For a heartbeat, Dimitri thought he saw regret in Rose's eyes. "Where can I find Jasmine?" Dimitri asked. Rose said, "Maybe in her guest bedroom or drunk."
Dimitri walked past both of them, heading to Jasmine's bedroom. to fix the problem that he caused. Adrian said, "What is his problem?" Rose said, "Truth!"
(Jasmine living area)
Dimitri walked to Jasmine's guest bedroom door. Reach up and knock on the door. A few seconds later, the door opens slowly to find the room dark. Hearing the song was Lansdowne - "One Shot" comes from her room. A young teenager peered around the door to see a pair of golden eyes staring at him and holding a bottle of Jack Daniels in black in her right hand. Dimitri could see Jasmine wearing a black crop top and a pair of black underwear with her hair not in French braids, like always. Dimitri thought Jasmine looked sexy.
As Dimitri said, "drinking will not make it go away." Jasmine said, "No! But it makes me feel better. So what do you want? " Dimitri says, "I think we need to talk about what has been happening with you lately." Jasmine said, "You were too busy with cheap, blood whore, slut, to even give a shit about what is happening to me." Dimitri said, "I know I failed you to help control your powers and emotions."
Jasmine stepped back into the room and said, "Come in." Dimitri stepped into Jasmine's living area to find one light on the couch. Dimitri stepped inside and stepped close to Jasmine. He could smell a sweet scent coming from Jasmine. Dimitri grabbed the bottle from Jasmine and took a drink. Jasmine said, "Now that's my cowboy." Jasmine turned around and walked away. Dimitri looked down at Jasmine's ass and could see it had a nice shape to it and walked in, closing the door.
Dimitri could see Jasmine's laptop sitting on the sofa and her jacket on the back chair with black jeans. Dimitri said, "What are you doing here alone?" Jasmine said, "I was looking over your footage." Dimitri said, "Did you find anything that good?" Jasmine said, "like Natasha using compulsion on you a few times to make you do what she wants." Dimitri said, "Like what?" As Jasmine said, "making out in your guest room on the sofa and dinner afterwards are few." It surprised Dimitri that Tasha would compel him again. Dimitri said out loud, "Yes!" Jasmine sat down on the sofa and patted the seat next to her. Dimitri smiled and walked over to sit down next to Jasmine.
Jasmine said, "You see what happened? You go under compulsion. " You get a glare in your eyes. "Too bad compulsion doesn't work on me." Dimitri said, "How do you know that compulsion doesn't work on you?" Because Vasilissa tries to make me forget. What happened with the strigoi four years ago and didn't work at all? " Dimitri said, "That might be a good thing that you can't be compelled." Unless someone is powerful, then Vasilisa with compulsion. " Jasmine said, "Maybe." She couldn't put me under her spell. Be element is helping stop compulsion on me. "
"Let's watch the footage, and could Tasha be compelled to do as she pleases?" Dimitri grabbed Jasmine's bottle and took a big drink. Jasmine reached out and patted Dimitri's arm. Dimitri said, "I'm so sorry that I was so blind not to see what she was doing." Jasmine reached up and patted his face. Saying, "Now you see what is happening, you are not blind now." You just have to stay away from her. "
Dimitri said, "Roza and Vasilisa are with Adrian Ivashkov." Jasmine said, "Oh! God No! ""Adrian Ivashkov is a spirit user like Vasilisa." Dimitri turned his head and looked at Jasmine, finding it surprising that Jasmine knew Adrian was a spirit user. Dimitri asked, "How do you know that?" Jasmine said, "The first night here, Rose and I met him on the back porch." I see he shines like Vasilisa does. That tells me Adrian is a spirit user. " Adrian knows that you have power."
Jasmine frowned at knowing that Adrian knew about her. reaching over the bottle and taking a drink.
Jasmine said, "Let's see what Rose is doing right now." Jasmine gives the computer commands to locate Rosie's necklace. It opens the live feed. Dimitri could see Vasilisa leaning over Rose. Jasmine said, "Rosie drinks too much. Rosie is lightweight when drinking. " When he heard Adrian ask, "What'd you specialize in, cousin?"
"Can you find them?" Dimitri asked. Jasmine gives the laptop and orders to go to the GPS program to locate them. It is hard to find them. Jasmine said that was odd. They are here at the lodge. I have a hard time locating them. It's like the signal is being bounced around, making it hard to lock onto them. Unless I go to their back lodge in the video and see what they are seeing. "You can do that?" Dimitri said. Jasmine said, "Yes! Keep storage, just in case something happens when I'm not watching. "
Jasmine went back to Rose's live feed and could see and hear Adrian's voice talking to Rose. "Don't worry. As I told you, I'm not interested in her in that way. She doesn't look as good in a bathing suit. Probably not as good out of one either. " Dimitri's face turned hard, and he said, "I'm going to kill him." Jasmine giggled. Jasmine said, "Let's keep watching and see what happens." Rose pulled the arm away and said, "Well, you'll never find out." Jasmine said, "That's my sissy." Jasmine said, "They are heading to the lobby of the lodge right now."
Rose was talking to Mason and said he's got some stupid crush on me. Rose must have been convincing, because Mason smiled. I'm not interested in him, Rose continued, or anyone else. Jasmine said, "Sissy is lying!" She has a crush on Adrian right now. Dimitri was surprised to see that Jasmine knew that she had a new crush on someone. Dimitri couldn't help but crush Jasmine. Jasmine had a crush on Dimitri.
Rose's hand was still on his arm, and I pulled him toward her. He needed a little more of a signal. Mason leaned down and kissed Rose, and she found herself pressed up against the wall- very much like with Dimitri in the practice room. Dimitri's eyes were glued to the screen, watching Mason kiss Rose. Rose said, "We could go somewhere." Mason pushed back and laughed. Not when you're drunk. Dimitri's eyes were looking at the screen and getting mad. Jasmine said, "Sissy is drunk." "She doesn't know what she is doing and I'm not watching."
Dimitri turns his head to see Jasmine looking at him and not watching the screen. Dimitri said, "I'm going to bust her ass tomorrow." Jasmine said, "You going to give a spanking?" Dimitri said, "I give something better than a good spanking."
Jasmine turns back to the bottle and finds it empty. Jasmine said, "You drink it all." Dimitri said, "Damn right, I did." Jasmine put the bottle back on the coffee table. "It's time for bed," Dimitri said. Jasmine said, "Why?" Dimitri said, "You need sleep." Jasmine said, "I will sleep if you stay with me the whole night and don't leave me alone." Dimitri said, "I promise." Jasmine said, "If you break that promise, I get to kick you in the balls twice." Jasmine looked at Dimitri and said, "Alright!" The entire night, Dimitri didn't want to kick in the balls twice.
Jasmine turns off the laptop. She took Dimitri by the hand and led him into the bedroom. Dimitri could see that Jasmine was queen-size with red and black sheets. Jasmine crowed in bed. Dimitri could see Jasmine's ass and it looked great. Making Dimitri bite his lip, Jasmine looked over shoulder, and said, "Get nude!
Dimitri looked at Jasmine and said, "I'm keeping boxers on." Jasmine said, "Alright, Dimka!" Dimitri started moving off his clothes, coming to his boxer and clamming into bed with Jasmine. Jasmine put her head on his chest and her arm around his waist, and she snuggle up to to his body closer. Dimiti loved every second that he got to hold Jasmine in his arms. Dimtri could smell a sweet scent, and it was driving him wild. Something inside both them felt like it right.
Jasmine asked, "Tomorrow we dodge wars." Do you want to play with us? " Dimitri said, "Sorry! I have to work. " Jasmine said, "That must suck balls." Dimitri said, "If I didn't have work, I would be in the game with you." But right now, you need to sleep for your game tomorrow. " Jasmine said, "Good Night, Dimka!" Dimitri said, "Good night, baby girl. Dimitri closed his eyes and fell to sleep with Jasmine in his arms.
