~Enter The King!~
~Fairy Tale of Duel Academy~

The following morning was the first official day of lectures and all of the first year students were anxiously sitting in the same room where they had the Chancellor's introductory speech. While the seating system would normally consist of all three years, the Academy Board had decided to change proceedings on a trial basis and and altered the timetables so that the students would be separated by what year they are. Furthermore, the seating plan was split into three obvious groups: Obelisk Blue near the top and back of the class, Ra Yellows in the middle and Slifer Reds near the bottom and to the front.

Jaden yawned into his hand out of boredom as he sat in the middle of Bastion and Jenny, who were sitting to his left and right respectively. His yellow blazer was unzipped, revealing a black t-shirt that had a picture of Kiyomi winking and posing, with the words 'Can You Stand the Heat?' written down the left side of the top. He had finished the ensemble with a white pair of jeans and trainers to match. To his right, Jenny leaned back (unknowingly giving Jaden a nice glimpse of her bust area) as she stretched, wearing a similar outfit to what she did yesterday; the only difference being the plain red t-shirt that covered her entire torso, along with a weird emblem near her navel area that resembled the Eight Trigrams Seal. Bastion, boring as he is, just kept to his green polo-neck and black trousers get-up. Bastion also looked up toward the ceiling and narrowed his eyes before turning his attention back to the book in his hand.

... hehehe! *wags tails*

A few more minutes past before the hand landed precisely on half-past nine in the morning when the door to the classroom soon opened, revealing the first teacher of the day...

Much to Jaden's ire, it was Crowler.

"Alright, class! Settle down!" he ordered as he walked over to his desk, placing his lesson planner down before moving back in front of it and clasping his hands behind his back. "Listen closely as I'm only going to introduce myself once! I am Dr. Vellian Crowler; your teacher in Dueling Techniques and your first teacher of the day. Now, I want to quickly cover the basics to see how far ahead we can skip proceedings and skip past the useless drivel and get to the more interesting subjects! Now, can anyone tell me the three types of cards in duel monsters and the sub-categories they can be placed into?" he asked as he scanned the students. Deciding to play it safe, plus noticing the bored look on her face, he chose his target. "Miss Rhodes?" he asked. Alexis looked up and nodded as she rose to her seat.

"Duel Monster cards can be split into many categories and hybrid-categories but the three main categories boil down to Monsters, Spells and Traps. You can further split the categories further down; you have Normal Monsters, Effect Monsters, Fusion Monsters, Ritual Monsters, Synchro Monsters, XYZ Monsters and the new generation of Pendulum Monsters released by Pegasus just over half a year ago. Then there's Normal spells, Continuous Spells, Counter Spells, Quick-Play Spells, Ritual Spells and Field Spells. You also have Normal Traps, Counter Traps, Continuous Traps and Quick-Play Traps. There are also special cases in which a Monster Card can also be categorized as a Trap Card and the new Pendulum Monsters having the unique ability of being summoned to the field either as a Monster card or as a Spell Card, depending on their Pendulum Level and the differentiating effects that can be chosen, based on what position the Pendulum Monster is played." she rolled off like a list, sounding bored before sitting back down.

"Per~fect!" Crowler sang, thoroughly impressed as she had also managed to cover and explain one of the new criteria in the curriculum and could easily jump a month in advance thanks to her explanation! "As expected from an Obelisk student. Now, I believe it's time for a slightly harder question..." he mused as his sights landed on Jaden. 'Perfect! I can ask him an incredibly difficult question and make him embarrass himself in front of the others! Think you can foil my plans, slacker?' he thought cruelly. "Mister Yuki! Would you care to enlighten the class about the abilities and effects of the three Sacred Beast cards, please?" he smirked. Jaden's eyes widened slightly in shock as the topic was hitting a little too close to home.

"I-I'm sorry, did you just say The Sacred Beasts? That's at least second-year stuff, don't you think?" he asked, narrowing his eyes. 'Why does he want to know about those cards?'

"Oh, but I'm just curious. Of course, there's nothing wrong if you don't know the answer but it'll reflect badly on your dorm... and yourself!" Crowler sang. Jenny was about to burst out and stand up for him before he spoke up once more. Bastion was confused to the gesture but assumed that there was more to the story than it seemed.

"Well, if you want an explanation on the cards, I'll have to give a bit of back-story first. You don't mind... do you?" Jaden asked as he stood up, holding her back with his arm. He glanced towards her and nodded, receiving one in kind as she sighed.

"Whatever, just make it quick!" Crowler retorted.

"Alright. When the universe was created, there's a legend that explains the two forces that came into existence: Light and Dark. When in harmony, everything is fine. However, over time, the Light grew corrupted and more destructive as time passed on, weakening the Darkness' power. Having no other option, the Darkness embodied itself into a kind and young king by the name of Haou, who was better known as the Supreme King of the Gentle Darkness. His sole aim in life was to keep the power of the Light in check if it ever got out of hand and to banish it if it did." he began explaining as he leaned on the back of his seat.

"Before he was rumoured to have died, the Light made an attempt to completely destroy the Darkness for the last time... but Haou had a contingency plan in the wings. Therefore, he used the Darkness itself and created three mighty warriors to help him battle the Light and seal it away once more." Jaden continued as he stared into Crowler's eyes with such intensity that the man himself had to flinch in response.

"Of course, over time, these same warriors became anchored within Duel Monsters, turning them all into card form. You have the three cards but I'll explain each one in turn. First, you have Raviel, Lord of Phantasms. A Dark, Twelve-Star, Fiend-Type monster with four thousand attack and defence points. both. He cannot be summoned by any means except for sacrificing three fiend-type monsters from the field to the graveyard. Every time your opponent summons a monster, special or normal, you are allowed to summon a 'Phantasm Token' to your side of the field. The token is classed as a Dark, One-Star, Fiend-type monster with a thousand attack and defence points. Once a turn, you can tribute one of your monsters to increase Raviel's attack by the same amount, including the tokens that are summoned by this card's effect." Jaden explained as his alter persona continued to supply him with their abilities.

"Next is Uria, Lord of Searing Flames. He is a Fire, Twelve-Star, Pyro-Type monster with an unidentifiable attack and defence stat. Uria can only be summoned by sending three face-up Continuous Trap cards on your field to the grave. He gains a thousand attack and defence for every continuous trap card in your graveyard. Once a turn, you can destroy a spell or trap on the field; plus this effect cannot be cancelled out by counter-effect." he smiled as he watched Crowler's jaw drop further.

"Thirdly, you have Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder. He is a Light, Twelve-Star, Thunder-Type also with four thousand attack and defence points. He can only be summoned by tributing three face-up Continuous Spells from your field. Every time this card destroys another in battle, it deals a thousand damage to their opponent's life points. While face up in defence position, Hamon is the only target you're allowed to attack." Jaden paused as he lowered his head slightly, allowing his bangs to cover his eyes.

"However, that's not the worse of them as there's one more card that not many people except for those who have done extensive research into the subject. Some can even claim that this card is a myth and doesn't exist... but it does." Jaden explained, his face serious as his eyes shifted to their golden hue. Crowler, who had never seen this before, had stumbled backwards into the desk. "You have the final, combined form of all three monsters; known as Armitael, Phantasm of Chaos. This card is a Dark, Twelve-Star, Fiend-type, Fusion monster with zero base attack or defence. You can only summon this card by removing all three Sacred Beast cards from play and you don't need a Polymerization to fuse them. On each of your turns, Armitael's attack and defence points are increased to ten thousand, each. In terms of power? Armitael has enough power to rival and defeat all three of the original Egyptian God cards." he gravely explained, stunning the class into silence.

"Of course, that's just a legend!" Jaden chuckled as he took his seat, eyes returning to their normal brown as everyone blinked owlishly. "Sorry, just always been fascinated by the stories of the Supreme King when I was a kid and I've taken some time to research the entire story." he sheepishly grinned, trying to ignore the looks he was receiving from Jenny and Bastion, either side of him. With a speechless Crowler settling for nodding dumbly, Jaden took his seat once more and tried to ignore the piercing stare from Bastion. He glanced towards him and held his hand up, mouthing to him he'll tell him later tonight.

"Jaden? Don't tell me everything you just said was true..." Jenny whispered in his ear worryingly. She was concerned by the obvious goading by Crowler but the fact that he had hit a sensitive topic for Jaden to deal with, she acted instinctively and tried to stop him but she sat there numbly as she listened to Jaden give the answer like he memorized the answer to a textbook perfection.

"That's the problem; everything I just said came straight from Haou, himself." he explained, stunning her. Meanwhile a few rows back, Alexis stared at Jaden as if he grew an extra head; completely baffled by the fact that he knew the answer to such a difficult question while Syrus gawked in awe from near the front.

'D-Damn! That failed! I will get the slacker expelled! NO-ONE makes a mockery of ME!' Crowler inwardly fumed as he grumbled to himself before resuming the lesson and conceding this round to the Ra Student.

After a much more somber end of the lesson after Jaden's explanation on the Sacred Beasts cards, things began brightening and cheering up when the Head of Slifer Red; Professor Banner, took his class in Alchemy. It was funny to watch Syrus double as a scratching post for Banner's cat, aptly named Pharaoh, and to see the professor blow himself up a few times from accidentally mixing the wrong ingredients but trying to play it off as what not to mix together. While everyone carried on with the lesson, Jenny kept shooting a concerned glance towards Jaden; still somewhat shaken after the revelation of those cards he explained last lesson. Jaden sighed to himself as he noticed this and decided that he needed to straighten things out before she wore herself out.

"Professor Banner?" Jaden called out, raising his hand up. The slender male figure spun around; his glossy black hair flowing with him as he turned his head around to face Jaden.

"Jaden? Is everything alright?" he asked in a light German accent.

"May I please be excused? I'm feeling a little light-headed and I could do with some fresh air to calm this queasiness down. Would it be too much of a problem if I ask Miss Andrews to accompany me, please?" he requested politely, earning a startled look from the said girl. Banner noted this and simply nodded in response.

"Of course, Jaden! If you still don't feel well, please make your way towards the nurses' office. I will ask Bastion to take extra notes from me so he can pass them on to the two of you." Banner nodded as the two Ra students made their way out of the classroom. Bastion watched the pair walk out, curious as to what they were up to but calmed down when Jaden spoke to him in sign, making the genius relax. However, he also guessed that it was to calm her down as he also noticed the glances she sent him. Alexis also wondered what would be the matter as Jaden and Jenny passed. Jaden nodded to her as he continued to walk past, startling her a long enough that she missed her chance to respond to his small gesture.

The male of the two quickly made his way out of the Academy and headed into the woods for a bit of fresh air, giving him the perfect alibi and keeping him away from eavesdroppers. Jennifer had to keep up with him as he took a confusing route that she lost where she was and decided to stick with him if she ever wanted to leave. It had been ten minutes since they left the classroom and neither of them have said a single word to each other, worrying Jaden a little as he knew thinking about it would make it worse for her. After finding a small clearing with a small bench placed there, he turned to her and smiled as he took a seat and patted the spot next to him.

"J-Jay? Are you-" she began before he shook his head and interrupted her politely.

"Just talk to me, Jenny. Talk to me and tell me a little more about yourself." he smiled warmly at her, making her heart flutter a little before she remembered to why they were both out here in the first place. She snapped her head towards him in disbelief before she stomped in front of him and narrowed her eyes at him.

"Y-You called me out of class just to tell you more about myself!?" she all but yelled in his face. He sighed before turning towards her with a sharp glance, shocking her for seeing it for the first (and hopefully last) time.

"No, I called you out with me to stop you over thinking about everything I said last lesson. Your eyes tell me, very clearly, that you're shaken up by what you heard and I want you to forget about it. As rude and careless I may sound, it isn't your burden to bear. Leave the burden and the consequences to me." Jaden firmly replied, leaving no room for argument. She growled at him as she shouted at him, grabbing him by his collar and leaning into his face as her canines sharpened slightly.

"B-But why you!?" she whispered harshly before raising her voice gradually. "Why do you have to deal with everything when you didn't want or ask for it!?" she continued to shout passionately as tears began rolling down her face. "Why do you have to be the one to carry the burden of the world on your shoulders!? Haven't you had enough to deal with already without this... this shit being piled on you as well!?" she cursed, stunning him having not heard her cuss until now. "W-Why is it always you, Jay; haven't you suffered enough, already!?" she asked in disbelief. "Why? Why!? WHY!?" she screamed as she began breaking down in front of him before he decided that enough was enough and it was going to take drastic measures to calm her down.

Before she could continue any further, she felt herself being pulled towards him and startling her as her eyes shot open in shock when she registered his lips placed over hers. Her mind began shutting down of all functions while she focused on the feel of his lips on hers; her eyes fluttering shut before returning the kiss. Her nerves felt like they were tingling all over her body as her knees gave way underneath her, pulling him to the floor with her as they continued to kiss each other. It didn't last long as Jaden grew uncomfortable and pulled away, watching the anger flow out of her face as her eyes fluttered back open. He sadly smiled as he pulled her head into his lap and tentatively stroked her hair in an attempt to calm her down.

"Feeling better?" Jaden asked her, earning a soft shake of her head in the negative.

"N-No... I-I just... y-you've had so much to deal with already! I may not know what you went through but... how much more can you take before it becomes too much and o-overwhelms you to the point of no r-return?" she began again, not bothering to restrain her falling tears. Jaden sadly smiled as he softly wiped her tears away and stroked her cheeks with his hands.

"I didn't ask for this, no. It's something I need to face and just take one step at a time, Jen." he explained softly to the emotional redhead. "I knew that it would be anything but plain sailing for me but I accept that and I do my best to face each problem one at a time. I'm grateful because I know I'm not alone, Jennifer." he smiled, using her full name as a means to calm her and still remain serious. "I have each and every one of my duel spirits beside me. I have my mentors: Yugi. Kaiba. Pegasus. I have the friends I've made through them: Téa. Joey. Mai. Isis. Mokuba. Gramps. Bakura. Serenity. Duke. Tristan. I have the the two friends I've gotten to know and trust so quickly in the short time I've known them. Bastion. And you, Jen." he smiled as her eyes watered once more. "That's why I can keep going. Because I know if I fall, I have people who'll walk the full distance with me and help me reach my goal." he finished.

Jennifer simply cried from the sheer awe she had for the boy whose lap her head currently rested in and smiled at him as her tears continued to fall. She reached her hand up to her eyes and wiped her tears away before reaching up further and softly running her hand through his brown mane of hair and lifted herself. She smiled lovingly at him before she softly placed her lips on top of his and kissed him chastely before pulling away.

"Know that I am so honoured you class me as someone precious. I promise you that I'll be there to help you, whenever you need me. You're right... you're not alone, Jaden." she whispered softly, earning a warm smile and a nod in response before moving off him and wiping her eyes once more before dusting herself down. "Shall we head back, Jaden?" she asked, wanting nothing more but to sleep and recover her emotional gathering. Turning to face him, he smiled in response as he allowed her to take his hand as he guided them both out of the forest and to the Nurse's Office.

In another part of the Academy campus, Crowler was sitting in his office; in the middle of writing a letter to the troublesome Ra student, Jaden Yuki. "How dare that Ra Rascal make a mockery out of me in front of my whole class! I didn't even know half those things!" he grumbled as he folded up the letter and placed it inside an envelope. "It'll be the last mistake he'll ever make!" he cackled as he picked up a mirror and began placing red lipstick on his lips... (less said, the better.) He planted the kiss on the back of the letter as he continued to laugh before dashing away in a manner that would even make Kefka proud. "The Big Kiss-Off! Hahahaha!"

(Time Skip: Gym Lockers)

"Now, where does the slacker keep his things?" Crowler questioned himself as he began searching the lockers before coming across Jaden's locker which was slightly ajar. "Now to plant the bait!" he giggled creepily before comically running away, not noticing the letter had slipped out of the locker before the door closed. Almost just as he ran out of the room, Syrus soon ran into the room panting before he began to quickly change.

"Damn! I didn't know that was the girl's changing rooms! Aw, I hope our teacher isn't... too..." he trailed off as his eyes rested on the letter on the floor after bending down to take his trainers off. He quickly checked around before snatching the letter and tore it open as he read the contents of the letter. "Since I first laid eyes on you, I knew that my heart belonged to you. Meet me outside the Obelisk Girls' Dorm after dark where we can... get to know each other better..."

"A-ALEXIS RHODES!?" he yelled, foregoing logic and reason. 'Alexis, my love! Wait for me!' he thought as he stuffed the letter into his locker before changing into his gym clothes and heading out to class.

After fifteen minutes had passed, she had excused herself from class and offered to check up on the two absent students and update him on their whereabouts. While curious as to why Jennifer acted the way she did when Crowler asked the question, she knew something was up and she wanted to know what. She had managed to get directions from the passing higher-up students who had seen the two head into the wooded area and made her way to the Memorial Bench in hopes of catching them there. She thanked her stars when she caught them but she was stunned to find her reaching up with her hand and bringing him into a kiss!

She was about to burst the scene and make her presence known but a hand stopped her from proceeding. She looked up to the figure and noted that they had chosen to keep themselves incognito, but she did notice a blue strand of hair from under the hood. They didn't say anything but pointed to their ear and back to the clearing, silently hinting for her to listen. She was shocked when she caught the end of their conversation and to say she was shocked was an understatement. Puzzled as to why this was a necessary conversation, the figured lowered their hand and let her do what she wanted.

"He holds a burden that no-one else can truly understand. On his shoulders, is the weight of the world in the balance and only he can maintain the balance. The Darkness within him is the only chance we have against the corrupted Light. She understood just how unfair a burden it is that has been placed on him but that kiss was meant to reassure him that he wasn't alone." the voice spoke up with a warm tint to his voice, sounding oddly familiar to her but also foreign to her at the same time. Her eyes then widened as the pieces clicked together as Jaden said something similar to that during his brief backstory before answering Crowler's question. She turned to him to ask him confirmation but noted that they had vanished. She turned back to find a pair of chocolate orbs connect with hers and an unnoticeable nod in her direction before he left with Jennifer holding his hand for support.

With everything on her mind, Alexis decided to hold everything on the back burners and just sit back and enjoy the baths and asked to be excused from the rest of the lessons and ask one of the other girls for copies of her notes for her to study... or ask Bastion as he would be making two copies for the missing duo. With what she wanted to reflect and ponder on, she would've preferred to have been alone but considering her two closest friends were there, Jasmine and Mindy, she couldn't bring herself to complain too much as she closed her eyes.

'It's freaky how some complete stranger was able to give me enough of a clue to know that maybe that Jaden's connected to the Legend, using almost the same words Jay did...' she thought to herself as her thoughts snapped back to the conversation her friends were having with each other.

"I wonder if Jaden's okay? I mean, he left class earlier but he didn't come back until we spotted him in gym class!" Mindy commented as she leaned in closer to her best friend.

"I was wondering about that as well. Never mind that; did you hear him answer Crowler's question? Oh my god, he's so smart!" Jasmine threw back, squealing.

"He's also incredibly sexy!" Mindy sighed.

"A pro duelist!" Jasmine ticked off.

"Charming and kind..."

"Great fashion sense!"

"Alluring voice which makes me incredibly horny!" Mindy professed without regret, earning a giggle from Jasmine.

"And his golden eyes... oh, I could lose myself in them forever!" Jasmine squealed once more. "Just imagine staring into them when he makes hot, steamy, passionate love to you..." she moaned erotically as she rubbed her thighs together underwater. "It's every girls' wet dream!" she finished, slightly annoying Alexis at the way she was describing him.

"He's perfect!" the two girls sighed dreamily, making Alexis snap as she had enough of their childishness.

"You realize there's much more to a guy than his looks, status and charm, right?" Alexis chided, somewhat annoyed by their words and earning their attention. "For all you know, he could have had gone through something back in his childhood which has stunted his emotional growth, making him afraid to love or trust anyone. What if he had a dark secret which he feared people would hate him for if anyone found out?" she defended, not knowing just how bang on the mark she truly was. "For all you know... he could've lost someone close to them as well." she trailed off as she brought her emotions under control.

"L-Lexi?" Jasmine asked, shocked by the sudden outburst and noting the sullen look on the blonde's face.

"Sorry, I just remembered some things I found out earlier on, so I... snapped, I guess." she apologized, sighing as she submerged herself further into the water. Both Mindy and Jasmine looked concerned for their sister-figure and made to move over to her and comfort her when a piercing screech broke the silence.

"Ahhhh! There's a boy spying on us!"

"I'M NOT A BOY! I AM A MAN!"

"What!?" Alexis gasped, rushing out of the bath. "Girls, let's go!" she ordered, grabbing her towel and quickly wrapping it around herself before running out of the bath to sort this new mess out. Both Jasmine and Mindy looked at one another before following suit, keeping hot on the heels of the blonde as they grab their own towels and followed her.

Thankful that it was the end of an emotionally tiring first day, the two Ra students made their way back to their dorm room as they both collapsed on Jaden's mattress, groaning. Whether from the aches in their bodies or the comfiness of the mattress, we don't know; they were simply looking forward to grabbing a big pile of food to munch on and falling asleep soon after. But of course, Murphy didn't like Jaden...

... as his PDF went off, which was across the other side of the room in his blazer pocket.

"Damn you, Murphy." he moaned as he huffed. "Girls, can one of you pass it over please?" he asked as three of his female duel spirits appeared in the room with them. He looked up and noted that Stephanie wasn't with them, so she must've been working. Trix nodded as she turned to grab it but soon gasped slightly upon landing her eyes on Jaden's.

"Jaden, you look terrible!" she passed him his PDF and handed it over before examining his face. "You sure you're feeling alright? Girls? I think he needs a nice work-down." she asked as the two female spirits nodded and took up positions. Kiyomi shifted herself and straddled his lower back before she began massaging his shoulders, while Ayumi softly worked her hands over his bare feet, pleasantly noting that they didn't smell terrible but oddly like lemongrass. As for Trix, she softly ran her fingers through his mane of hair and gently massaged his scalp; earning a content and powerful groan of relief as he melted underneat the three females' administrations. Jaden glanced towards his roommate and noticed the stunned look Jenny was giving him before Jaden smiled knowingly.

"I've been better, admittedly. Jenny now knows about Haou and she's determined to help me the best I can, so it's one less thing to worry about." he explained, watching the girls turn to her and warmly smile in acceptance. "Whoever this is had better have a good reason to disturb me because I'm more than content staying like this for the rest of the evening." he replied honestly, earning four sets of giggles. "I need two volunteers to give her a massage as well; goodness she needs it more than me, most likely."

Just as soon as the words left his mouth, two new yet familiar male figures made themselves known as they stood in front of her, allowing her to examine them quickly. The first of the males stood in front of her had a nice slimline figure, hidden by the sky blue shirt that conformed to his frame and a pair of darker blue jeans, finished off by a pair of brown leather loafers. She was surprised that he had short, spiked green hair and red eyes but the most prominent feature was the pair of wings that appeared from behind him that fluttered slightly. The second spirit was a little bit taller than the first, wearing a plain white t-shirt that also showed off his slim figure and stone-coloured, knee-length khaki shorts gave her a glimpse of his powerful and toned calves, not paying much attention to the flip flops he wore. Contrasting to the first spirit, this one had long blonde hair tied back into a tail, and a charming pair of hazel eyes and a smile on his face directed to her.

"Jenny? May I introduce you to 'Feathers' and 'Sparky'-" he began teasingly before wincing from the smack to his back from Kiyomi and the two annoyed stares from the guys, "Ow, I'm sorry... Avi and Jack. They're my Avian and Sparkman heroes. Think you can help her unwind?" Jaden finished respectfully, groaning as she felt Kiyomi softly kiss where she slapped him before rubbing it better.

"Sure thing, Jay." Avi nodded as he gently moved behind her and began massaging her shoulders and upper back while Jack worked on her feet and her calves. Her eyes widened comically as she shuddered before lowering her head into the pillow she snagged and moaned into it, making Jaden blush how erotic it sounded to him. He also groaned when he felt Ayumi's hand slide up his legs and reach his calves before gently rubbing them while Kiyomi moved a little lower and straddled his bum and worked on his lower back and spine.

"Oh my god..." she moaned into her pillow. "Remind me to tell you that you're the best roommate I could ask for, Jay." she blissfully sighed as she closed her eyes and let the two spirits have their way with her, relaxing under their talented hands. Jaden chuckled slightly in response to her declaration and rested his head into Trix's lap as she continued to play with his hair, lulling him to sleep.

"Duly noted." he tiredly smiled. "Trix? I hate to be a bother but can you see who could be sending me a message this time of night?" he politely asked. The loss of her hands in his hair told him that she was going through his PDF and searching his inbox before finding the message and playing it for the room's occupants to hear as she hit the play button.

"Jaden Yuki. We have your friend, Syrus Truesade, hostage as a means of breaking Academy curfew and breaching the Obelisk Girls' Baths and Dorms after hours. Meet us outside the Obelisk Girls' Dorm to collect him and prove his innocence."

"What's he done now..." he groaned, rubbing his hand against his face. A selfish part of him wanted to do nothing and simply enjoy the plans he had for the rest of the evening but he knew he couldn't leave a friend hanging like that. The other two women seemed to sense his decision as they both stopped and let him get up. He turned to the two of them and warmly smiled as he softly kissed each one on the cheeks before repeating the same to Trix.

"Mind filling me in?" Jenny asked, confused by the whole thing as the guys stopped as well to allow her to sit up.

"I don't know. All I know is that Syrus, for some unknown reason, has been caught after hours outside the Obelisk Girls' Dorms and Baths." he sighed, earning a queer look from the redhead. "They've caught him and they want me to come over and 'prove his innocence'."

Jenny groaned as she pinched the bridge of her nose to stem the headache forming, not believing the turn of events. "We'll have to go and get him before he gets himself into deep trouble." she commented, knwing that was the plan already. Jaden nodded but decided to let Syrus learn a lesson and let him squirm for a bit.

"We'll have food first. I don't care what they say, I'm hungry." Jaden commented playfully as he got to his feet, courtesy of a helping hand from Kiyomi. "Come on... let's get our fill then head out." he ordered, grabbing his blazer and giving it to Jenny to wear before heading out. She paused to see Jaden give her his blazer but soon came to the conclusion that it would be cold outside. She smiled softly at his gentlemanly gesture and slipped it on, inhaling his scent as she quickly caught up to him.

~ETK!~

"You said he'd be here." Alexis rounded on Syrus, trying not to visibly laugh at how utterly pathetic he looked right now. Caught in his Slifer Red uniform, he had his hands tied behind his back with a piece of rope, another length of rope tying his arms to his torso and a collar had been given to them from one of the more... kinkier girls and used it as a dog collar as they attached a chain to it. It had been an hour since she had sent the message to Jaden's PDF and was confused as to why he would take so long. She mused the thought that he would be sleeping but the noise of these things are loud enough to wake the dead.

Alexis, Jasmine, Mindy were getting bored of waiting, the other female students decided to take the time to get dressed and lounge about and chat to one another, while Syrus was extremely nervous as he was at the mercy of the entire girls' dorm as they waited patiently for the Ra duo to arrive. Just as soon they were about to give up on Jaden's rescue attempt, they both heard the front doors swing open and watched a disgruntled Jaden walking towards them with purpose in his steps, noting Jenny walking just a bit behind him.

"Syrus Truesdale! What've you done now!?" Jaden shouted as he and Jenny announced themselves, making their way through the crowd of pissed female students who suddenly swooned as he smiled apologetically to them all as he walked past. They continued until they stood in front of Alexis, Mindy and Jasmine who held the rope that kept the young Slifer tied up like a dog.

"I-I'm sorry, Jay! I wanted to tell them it was a fake and that someone was setting you up!" he apologized, making Jaden crouch down and stare into Syrus' orbs.

"Please don't take this the wrong way as I really like you, Sy. But I swear if you end up in another situation like this and interrupting my damn massage, I will leave you to face the punishment." he spoke, his hair overshadowing his eyes and giving him a draconian visage. Syrus quickly paled and whimpered as he furiously nodded in affirmation. Nodding, he stood back up and rubbed his eyes before groaning once more. "I was looking forward to grabbing a bite to eat, have a long soak in the bath with another massage afterwards before finally getting a good night's sleep..." he lamented before his mind picked up something Syrus had said. "Wait... what was fake?"

"What's going on?" Alexis spoke up, slightly bewildered by losing track of what's going on.

"Beats me! I just got the message from you three that you had Syrus here for some reason." Jaden shrugged in response.

"H-Here! I got a love letter from Alexis in Gym Class, earlier!" Syrus explained as he pulled the letter out of his back pocket and handed it over to Alexis. Jaden moved closer so that he was looking over her shoulder as the two of them read the contents.

"It's fake." they replied at the same time before she took lead. "I wouldn't have had the time to slip it into his locker before class started. Plus I wouldn't know which locker is his, anyway. More importantly, I don't see him that way. No offence." she explained, looking over to Jaden towards the end to gauge his expression. He smiled and waved her concern off.

"None taken, don't worry. I hate to burst your bubble, Sy; the letter was addressed to me, not you. Seeing as Alexis wouldn't feel that way inclined about me, it means someone was looking to set me up and have me be the one caught." Jaden explained as a rain cloud appeared over the younger Truesdale.

"I can't even get a fake love letter?" he pouted.

"Uh, why would she go out with you? She's an Obelisk, you're a Slifer. She's really good at dueling-" Jasmine proceeded before she was interrupted.

"Excuse me, miss?" Jaden spoke up, startling the girl. "Ranks mean nothing. Also, for your information, I'm helping Syrus out with his dueling skills and I'm gonna be teaching him the same way that my mentors taught me." he explained, earning a wide-eyed look from the girl.

"I-I'm sorry! I didn't know..." she apologized, bowing.

"Just please don't judge people by their appearances or their statuses, it's one pf my pet-peeves. For all you know, Syrus could be a better person to date than I am." he mused playfully, shocking most of the girls there.

"I hardly believe that." Mindy intervened a little snobbishly. "You'd make a better boyfriend than most guys in the school!"

"Again, you let appearances deceive you. Did you ever think that there was something that happened in my childhood which had mentally scarred me for life? Ever thought that I have hesitations when I'm around strangers; especially if they're females?" he asked, earning a startled look while Alexis' face paled slightly as he repeated what she burst out in the baths not a little over an hour ago. "I had a really bad moment in my childhood which has skewered my perspective on a few things so don't think I'm 'easy pickings'." he chided seriously, earning some approving nods from the female students as they all respect him that little bit more. Alexis was floored at his confession as she never expected that she'd be on the ball about him...

'Just what happened to him to make him act so defensively?' she thought, getting a mild glare from the Ra female standing next to Jaden. Unlike her usual bubbly demeanor, her face was scowling and her amber eyes narrowed at her and glowed slightly.

"I know what you're thinking and I'm warning you not to pry into his affairs. He'll tell you if he thinks he can tell you but otherwise, back off!" she chided. Alexis' eyes widened before narrowing dangerously in response as she took a few steps towards the redhead.

"You say that like you already know?" Alexis replied accusingly, returning the look back at the redhead.

"As a matter of fact, I do know." she explained, not fazed by the shock evident in her eyes. Jaden knew that Jenny would try and protect him but knwoing how she would do it, he leaked a little bit of Haou into his voice and spoke up-

"Ladies, enough!" Jaden interrupted, annoyed, before the two clawed at each other's necks. The two startled girls snapped their heads around to Jaden, noting that his eyes flashed amber before fading back to their brown. "Alexis, I'll only tell you when I'm ready to tell you. Jenny, I appreciate you defending me but please shush. It's a secret for a reason." he chided, earning sheepish looks from the both of them as they stared at him wide-eyed. "Now this has been sorted, can we have Syrus and go, please?" he asked, releasing a groan at how tired he was. Alexis was about to let him go before an incredible thought popped into her head.

"Actually, Jay, you're trespassing as well." Alexis smirked as she thought of a cunning plan, giggling when she heard him groan even louder. "Look, we can either settle this the hard way, or through a duel. Your choice." she offered. Jaden was slightly annoyed but the look faded when he saw her challenging glint.

"You're serious, aren't you?" he asked, winning an amused shrug in response. "Alright." he smiled defeatedly. "I'll grant you your duel. I win, we go free. I lose, you can report us. Jenny goes scot-free regardless. Deal?" he offered, earning a look form the redhead.

"You catch on quick, Jay." she grinned. "Let's take the duel outside. You can give everyone a good show while you're at it." she winked as everyone made their way outside. The others followed behind her as they all made their way outside the dorms and into the large spacious field that held enough room for a duel or two.

"Doesn't see you that way, my cute ass." Jenny whispered into Jaden's ear, earning a small blush and chuckle in response as they both walked together. The two reached the spot where Alexis was waiting but to their surprise, pointed back towards the dorm with a softer smile on her face, prompting the two Ra duelists to look behind them. It was an incredible sight, both of them admitted; a pure-white castle by the calm lake, bathing under the moonlit night as a host of stars gather to watch another long-old dance between two duelists.

The female students looking on started to discuss what was about to happen when one of them mentioned that this would be the 'Fairy Tale of Duel Academy' as Jaden and Alexis both made their way to the opposite ends of the courtyard. The crowd of female students began repeating the title and soon started taking out their PDF's and mobile phones to record the upcoming duel between the Obelisk Queen and the Elemental King! While that was happening, Jaden and Alexis both shuffled their decks and placed them in their disks, feeling a thrill as both duel disks burst into life. Alexis smiled as she lowered her disk down and caught his attention with a sharp whistle.

"I'm looking forward to this duel, Jaden. Don't think for a second that I'm gonna hold anything back, though! Show me what makes you the Elemental King, your Highness!" she mock curtsied, earning wolf-whistles and 'oooohs' from the onlooking female students, much to her amusement. "We still don't know what's in that deck of yours, so I'll be pulling out all the stops!" she yelled confidently as Jaden laughed loudly as he grinned back at her in response to her declaration.

"I wouldn't dream of giving you anything less, your Majesty!" he mocked bowed, with an exaggerated flourish.

"Game On!"

~Alexis: 4000~
~Jaden: 4000~

"I would say ladies first but I think I'll take the lead!" she taunted playfully, earning another response from the female students as she drew a card, noting the playful wince Jaden gave in response and grinned. "I summon my Etoile Cyber in attack mode. I'll play a face down and call it a turn."

A small white portal appeared over the card, watching as a curvaceous womanly figure appeared on her side of the field; donning a scarlet full-body outfit, made out of a combination of latex and smooth silk, soft golden trims on her knees and followed by a baby-blue frilly skirt that hung off her hips. Her upper arms were exposed but was remedied by the pair of red leather gloves that materialized on her, which reached up and past her elbows. Enchanted by the moonlight, her pale-blue skin and long orange hair gave her an elegant grace, not being taken away by the plain red blindfold that covered her right eye.

(Etoile Cyber: Warrior / Effect / Earth / 4* / 1200 ATK / 1800 DEF)

"Not bad, not bad. Now it's my turn!" Jaden smiled as he drew a card as he smirked. "I think I'll start by summoning my Elemental Hero Bubbleman in defence mode! Because he's the only monster currently on my side of the field, I can draw a bonus two cards thanks to his ability." he smiled as said figure appeared on the field, covered in a slimmer version of his original two-toned blue armour that covered the majority of his body. He deftly grabbed the two pipes that were melded into his gauntlets and the gun grated into it and connected them up to the large tank currently sitting on his back. Once done, he turned to Jaden and shot two globs of water at him; revealing to everyone that the two extra cards were protected inside said cards.

(Elemental Hero Bubbleman: Warrior / Effect / 4* / 800 ATK / 1200 DEF)

"Thanks Marco! Now I'll play two cards face down and I'll end my turn as well." Jaden finished, earning a small cheer from the display so far. "Miss Rhodes, I do believe it's your turn." he charmingly replied with a tone of amusement in his voice.

"Why thank you, Mister Yuki. My draw!" she curtsied while bringing her hand up to her chest before drawing another card from her deck. "Think it's time to shed some light on the duel as I'll tribute my Etoile Cyber to summon my Mind on Air in defence mode!" she yelled, watching as yellow pieces of armour covered her Etoile Cyber and cocooning her in a metallic shell. A few moments passed before bits of it floated away, leaving another female in her previous place. Still remaining the pale-blue tint to her skin, her hair had changed from her previous ginger to a somewhat sickly mixture of yellow and green hair which flowed down to her waist. Attached to her body was a top-range cybernetic armour that connected with the scanner device that was currently on her head.

(Mind on Air: Spellcaster / Effect / Dark / 6* / 1000 ATK / 1600 DEF)

"Thanks to her being on the field, I'm about to bring down the mystery on your deck! Her effect allows you carry on dueling but... you have to show everyone your entire hand as long as she remains on the field!" she smirked as the purple camera in her head piece flared to life and shot a beam straight into Jaden's hand of cards, watching as holographic copies of Jaden's hand appeared behind him:

Jaden's Hand: Turn Two:-
Elemental Hero Burstinatrix (Monster), Fusion Sage (Spell), Elemental Hero Clayman (Monster), Pot of Greed (Spell), Elemental Hero Wildheart (Monster).

"Interesting hand you have there, Jay." she grinned as her hand rested on her cheek and her other arm crossed under her bust and rested in the crook of her other elbow. "I'll play The Warrior Returning Alive and bring back my Etoile Cyber and call it a turn!" she finished, watching as her Etoile burst out of the grass beneath them and landed gracefully to her partner.

(Etoile Cyber: 1200 ATK)

"I aim to please!" he sheepishly chucked as he scratched the back of his head. "Well, I'll draw!" he smiled as a copy of his newly drawn card appeared in his holographic hand behind him; Double or Nothing. Watching as Alexis was more on the cards behind him, he pouted as he crossed his arms. "You're killing this thing, Lex! Heroes are suppose to make a surprise appearance! What good are they if you know they're coming?" he joked, getting a wink from the Obelisk across the way.

"I'll play my Fusion Sage to quickly add a Polymerization to my hand." he commented as he placed the card into the graveyard, activating the deck scanner and looked for the lowest positioned Polymerization and pushed it out for him to take. Grabbing said card, he placed it directly on his disk; watching as a portal appeared above the field that started swirling inwards on itself. "You said so yourself that you want to see what else I have hidden away in my deck, so I'll show you a new trick! I use my Polymerization to fuse my Burstinatrix and Clayman to create my Elemental Hero Rampart Blaster!" he yelled, throwing his hand up towards the sky.

"Let's go!" the two duel spirits shouted as they both flew into the swirling vortex before re-emerging a few moments later and landing next to his Bubbleman. It was Burstinatrix but now outfitted in a metallic dull-grey and red armour similar to Clayman's, fitted with a large polygon-shaped red shield and rocket launcher integrated into her right arm. She decided to forego her usual red and gold helmet, letting her ebony hair flow in the wind as her emerald orbs locked onto Alexis'.

(Elemental Hero Rampant Blaster: Warrior / Effect / Fusion / Earth / 6* / 2000 ATK / 2500 DEF)

"Now I'll activate her effect! It's like they say; 'A good offense is a good defence'... and when Trix is in this form, she takes that to the extreme! You see, as long as she remains face up in defence position? At the cost of half her original attack points... she can attack you directly! Show her your moves, Trix!" Jaden grinned as he pointed towards his opponent.

"You got it, Jay!" she grinned in response as took aim at Alexis and fired a rocket that flew in between both of Alexis' monsters and land the hit directly, causing a small explosion and smokescreen.

(Elemental Hero Rampant Blaster: Attack Penalty; 2000 / 2 = 1000)

~Alexis: (4000 - 1000) = 3000~

Elemental Hero Rampant Blaster: Direct Attack to Life Points from card's Effect.

"And first blood goes to me!" Jaden fist-pumped, winning a loud cheer from the crowd of girls, including Jenny who looked on in awe at the incredible level of dueling. "Seeing as you can still see my cards, I'll place my Double or Nothing face down and end my go." Jaden smiled, not fussed that his opponent could see his cards. Taking a small moment of reprieve as she took another card from her deck, she had to ask;

"So, Jay! What do you think of the duel so far?" she asked curious to his response. "You impressed yet?" she smirked playfully. Jaden saw this and laughed lightly in response.

"Impressed?" he scoffed. "I think I'm in love!" he grinned back at her. Alexis' breath hitched in her throat as she tried to fight the blush from appearing on her face but she figured she failed if the heatening up of her cheeks were any indication. From the sidelines, Jenny grinned at the remark and the effect it had on his opponent.

'Jaden, Jaden, Jaden... you little womanizer, you! First me, now Alexis? And she said she didn't have an attraction for you... pffft!' she thought to herself, laughing to herself as she decided to move a little closer to Jaden's side of the field and kept her PDF recording the duel from her angle. She had to give credit where due when she saw Alexis gather herself back and laughed loudly and freely in response to his laughter and watched as she shifted her hips a little sultrily and rested her card-held hand on her hip while her other hand did a half-wave.

"Sorry, Jay! You're not the first heart I've crushed and you won't be the last!" she replied, smirking in response. She had to admit that this duel would be the first one she had enjoyed playing in a long time, not having to worry about any stipulations or consequences; she could kick back and simply have fun dueling for once. "I've done a little bit of research and I've heard another moniker that you had been given from your one sponsor; the 'Master of Polymerization'! So I'll take a page from your book and use one myself! I fuse my Etoile Cyber and my Blade Skater in my hand to summon my Cyber Skater!"

A spotlight shone down on her Etoile Cyber as it engulfed her entire frame, and shielded her from the light and from everyone's eyes. Soft sparkles of twilight appeared around her as soon as the light dispersed; revealing a new female, who took her place center stage. The night breeze swirled around her, mesmerizing everyone as her violet hair flowed behind her in the wind, while her rose-tinted spiked glasses prevented her hair from obscuring her view. Unlike her previous outfit, it had changed slightly to a red-purple mesh outfit which covered the entirety of her body from neck to her toes, which had skater's blades sewn in to the material at the bottom of her feet.

(Cyber Blader: Warrior / Effect / Fusion / Earth / 7* / 2100 ATK / 800 DEF)

"The thing with my Cyber Blader; she has a possible three effects to choose from but it all depends on how many monsters you have on your side of the field. Seeing as you have two monsters at the moment, her second effect kicks in: my Cyber Blader's attack points are doubled up to forty-two hundred!" she grinned as her Cyber Blader clasped her hands close to her chest and absorbed a small amount of the moonlight into her, coating her in a beautiful ethereal glow.

(Cyber Blader: Attack Boost; 2100 x 2 = 4200)

"Cyber Blader! Attack his Rampart Blaster and take out the main threat!" she ordered as she directed her attention to his sole female Hero. Her skater nodded in affirmation as began to glide across the grassy plain and leap gracefully into the air, ready to strike her opponent down with her bladed feet. Just as her attack was about to take Trix out, Trix simply smirked as she threw up her shield and watched as it stood strong against the attack and successfully blocked it. Alexis' eyes widened in shock, not knowing if she had activated one of her bonus effects but soon noted that one of his unknown face down cards slowly rise up, revealing a trap he had set in place before she could see what it is.

"Not so fast, Lex! I activate my trap card, Draining Shield! Thanks to this trap card, I can negate an attack you launch against one of my monsters. If I'm able to block it successfully? I also gain the attacking monster's attack points and add them directly to my life points." Jaden grinned as a blue burst of energy emitted from Trix's shield; having a two-fold effect of blasting her back over to Alexis' side of the field and tossing her shield back to Jaden. Soon as his hand caught the shield, he pressed the button hidden by the grips and took delight in the annoyed look on his opponent's face as he was shrouded in a blue energy.

~Jaden: (4000 + 4200) = 8200~

Draining Shield: Negate an attack and gain Life Points equal to the attacking monster's Attack.
Cyber Blader's attack: Absorbed by Jaden and Negated.

"Thank's Trix!" Jaden thanked as he tossed the shield back towards Burstinatrix, who deftly caught it in her hands. He noted that her Cyber Blader rolled across the field a few times before gathering her balance and skated back into her starting position with a glare on her face aimed towards Trix. As for the Hero in question, she simply winked in response as she turned to look over her shoulder and blow a kiss towards Jaden with a saucy wink.

"Incredible! With just one card, he not only saved Trix from being destroyed; he's also gained over double his life points!" Jenny awed as she heard something rustling from behind her, causing her to smirk. "You can really tell that his game is a step above the rest... right Bastion?" she asked, waiting a few moments before she heard a defeated sigh as said Ra duelist made himself known. He had seen the pair sneak out of the dorm, piquing his curiosity as he followed the two of them there.

"Indeed. It's a smart move, if not considered desperate." he replied knowingly, earning a frown from Jenny as she conceded his point. "Jaden can't make any surprise attacks or successful counter-plays as long as Alexis can see his hand, thanks to her Mind on Air that's still on the field. While he's got the manpower to stop her, he's cautious of the face down that's on the field and very rightly so. From what I've gathered so far, they seem to be the main concerns for him right now."

"That's true. The only things currently going for Jaden right now is that people haven't seen his full deck and he still has plenty of surprises left for her; plus, there's still his face down that Alexis doesn't know about which he set art the beginning of the duel. I wonder what it could be?" she mused, intrigued to find out as she turned her attention back to the duel.

"No fair!" Alexis yelled as she playfully stamped her foot on the ground. "I thought I had you!" she pouted, earning a few giggles from the crowd form seeing a refreshingly childish side from the usually serious Alexis Rhodes. Jaden couldn't help but smile at her behavior, seeing the aptly-titled 'Obelisk Queen' let loose and act like another teenager. Seeing her puff her cheeks at him, he took it as a signal to draw another card, watching as a copy appeared above him.

"Well, this next card will be more for your benefit than it will mine. I'll activate my Card of Sanctity spell card! We both draw cards until we hold six cards each in our hands." he explained he added three cards to his hand while she drew four. "Now, I'll play my Pot of Greed and draw two more cards on top!" Jaden smiled, smirking at his hand of seven cards and the potential combination he could pull off.

~Jaden's Hand: Turn Three:~
Elemental Hero Sparkman (Monster), Fusion Recovery (Spell), Elemental Hero Avian (Monster), Elemental Hero Wildheart (Monster), Polymerization (Spell), Foolish Burial (Spell), Miracle Fusion (Spell).

"Oh, that's not good..." Alexis paled as she stared at the cards in his hand.

"Well, at least you know what you're up against, right?" he grinned in return, prompting the smile that broke through on her face as she continued to watch the Ra student. She closed her eyes for a split moment as she realized how much she was smiling in this duel.

'When was the last time anyone could make me feel so... free? I mean, I've only known him for three days and it feels like I've known him for longer than that. Just... who are you, Jaden?' she thought to herself before snapping her eyes open. "Go on, make your move, Jay!" she grinned brightly, showing off all of her teeth as she began laughing. Apparently, the burst of energy was not lost on the crowd either as they started cheering louder and yelling loudly for the duel to continue.

"Just like the pretty lady ordered!" Jaden replied, sharing her sentiments as he was enjoying the duel as well. "Time for a piece of 'Triple-Threat' action as I use another Polymerization and fuse my Bubbleman, Avian and Sparkman together to summon forth my Elemental Hero Tempest!" Jaden yelled, his three spirits grinning as they vanished into pillars of light that clashed into one another; surprising everyone when a large cyclone brewed upon impact, causing a majority of the girls to hang on to their towels to preserve their modesty.

The winds soon died down, much to everyone's relief, as Avi soared through the skies for a few seconds before nosediving onto the field and landed beside Burstinatrix with a strong flap of his wings. His new appearance was mainly composed of Sparkman's armour, except for his left arm that remained bare. Avi once admitted he hated this outfit because of the metallic exo-skeleton that was on his wings, making it uncomfortable to wear; so they had worked around it by removing the exo-skeleton and utilized them into small metallic wings and melded them onto his boots and the shoulder pauldrons; the latter working well in hindsight as it allowed him to tuck the pipes underneath the pauldrons that connected the water tank to connect to Bubbleman's water gun on his right arm.

(Elemental Hero Tempest: Warrior / Effect / Fusion / 8* / 2800 ATK / 2800 DEF)

"Now, I'll use my Foolish Burial. It'll allow me to take a monster from my deck and send it to the graveyard." Jaden explained as a light scanned Jaden's deck before pushing out the card he wanted, allowing him to place it straight into the graveyard without his opponent knowing too soon and finding a way to counteract him. Thankfully, she was still buffeted by the winds and had her arm shielding her face so he let loose an internal sigh of relief. "Now that I got what I needed where I needed it; I'll use my Fusion Recovery! I can take a fusion material monster and a Polymerization and add it back to my hand." Jaden continued as a Polymerization appeared behind him, along with the card he just placed there; Bladedge.

"W-Wait a sec!" Alexis stopped him, pointing towards him. "When did your Bladedge end up in-" she began asking but soon stopped as she just remembered the card he had played before using his Fusion Recovery. "Foolish Burial..." she trailed off, loud enough for everyone to hear, earning a cheeky grin from Jaden as he nodded.

"You wanted to see more of my deck, didn't you? I' playing yet another Polymerization and this time; fuse my Elemental Heroes Wildheart and Bladedge! Everyone! Say hello to my Elemental Hero Wildedge!" Jaden introduced as Wolf appeared on the field on his own, making him realize she was still elsewhere. Thankfully, she left her armour behind for Wolf to use as he took certain parts of the armour and fitted it on him; namely the two bladed gauntlets, the armour used around his crotch area and followed up with strapping a piece of the armour onto his right leg for the needed boost for his attack. He would use the helmet as well but decided not to after seeing Burstinatrix foregoing hers as he brought his behemoth-sized sword off his back and stabbed the ground in front of him. He smirked a predatory grin as the dark-tanned skin and tribal tattoos gave him a feral look and an aura of a top-notch predator, hence his name.

(Elemental Hero Wildedge: Warrior / Effect / Fusion / Earth / 8* / 2600 ATK / 2300 DEF)

"Not so fast, Jay! Now that you've got three monsters on the field, my Cyber Blader's effect switches! She goes back to her original attack, sure... but in return, she's nullifying each and every one of your Heroes' effects!" Alexis grinned as the blue aura surrounding her Blader faded before shifting into a soft violet that spread across the entire dueling floor.

(Cyber Blader: Attack Penalty; 4200 / 2 = 2100)

"That's fine with me! Wolf! Time to hunt down the spy out of her ranks! Attack her Mind on Air with Black Panther Strike!" Jaden ordered. Wolf grinned dangerously as a primal glint appeared in his eyes, making her monster flinch in fear as he bounded just as fast as his attack's namesake as he brought his sword up from dragging it in the earth behind him and swinging it overhead, waiting to cleave her in half.

"Good move, Jaden!" Bastion complimented from the sidelines, impressed on how he's managed to circumnavigate Alexis' defence and strategy and finally allow himself the ability to take her monster out and be able to hide his cards once more from her eyes.

"Whooo! Go Jay!" Jenny jumped, yelling in excitement at just how amazing a duel this has been. Her eyes narrowed when instead of being worried, Alexis simply burst out laughing as she hit a button on her duel disk; watching the activated trap card appear on the field.

"Good attempt, but you've activated my trap; Disqualified! I can only use this when one of my girls is the target of an attack; it allows me to block the attack-" she began explaining, meanwhile a massive 'X' appeared in front of her Mind on Air duel spirit and stopped the behemoth sword's attack dead in its tracks before it sprung forward and knock him back to the other side of the field. Her Mind on Air turned back to Alexis and earned a teary smile, still slightly shaken up from the last potential attack. Giving a nod back in response and a thumbs-up, she turned back to Jaden. "- and I can choose one of your current monsters in attack mode and say bye-bye!" she smirked as the 'X' crossed the field in a blink of the eye and slammed straight into Avi; watching him burst into particles along with the shape. Jaden, Trix and Wolf all winced in response as that looked like it was majorly painful.

"F-Fuck... that hurt like a bitch!" Avi groaned as his spirit was sprawled on the floor, clutching his chest as he wheezed. Jaden was concerned for him but was thankful when his Bladedge appeared in her casual clothes and brought a first-aid kit with her.

"I got Avi, you focus on the duel Jay." she commanded in her no-nonsense tone, making Jaden nod his head gratefully as he turned around to face his opponent with a retributory glint in his eyes. She took a step back as he pressed one of his buttons on his own duel disk and decided to get a small bit of payback. He watched as her Cyber Blader's aura returned from violet back to the soft blue.

(Cyber Blader: Attack Boost; 2100 x 2 = 4200)

"Then allow me to call your trap card, and raise you my Double or Nothing spell! Now that Lady Luck has been wonderful enough to smile upon me, I can only use this card when one of my monster's attacks has been negated. So thanks to you stopping Wildedge's attack, he has another possible attack chance! But this time? There's an added twist." he smiled mysteriously. "Of course, since your Cyber Blader had disabled all my Heroes' effects previously; there's nothing holding them back this time around... including my Wildedge! Unlike most monsters who can only attack one monster, my Wildedge has a deadly ability..." he grinned, similar to the grin that appeared on Wolf's face as he stretched his arms out and gripped his sword once more.

"And what would that be...?" Alexis cautiously asked, not liking the ominous description as everyone leaned in for the explanation.

"I can attack all your monsters in one go!" he explained. "And before you interrupt me," he rose a finger, interrupted Alexis from making a remark, "This is where my Double or Nothing comes into play. Much like your Cyber Blader, my Wildedge's attack points are also doubled!" he laughed loudly as cries of stunned disbelief rose up from the audience.

"No way!" Alexis, Syrus, Jenny, Bastion, Jasmine and Mindy all shouted at the same time, watching in shock when a glamorous gold-plated reels slot appeared behind his Wildedge. turning around after a golden coin appeared out of tin air and landed in the palm of his hand, Wolf slotted it in and pull the lever, watching as the slots kept spinning until they all landed on a blue '7'. Everyone was drawn to the flashing lights appearing as a result of winning a 'Jackpot Spin' and a golden glow appeared around Wolf as he crouched down once more, ready to attack.

(Elemental Hero Wildedge: Attack Boost; 2600 x 2 = 5200)

"Take two! Wolf! Time to hunt down the prey all at once! Hit 'em with your Scimitar Slash!" Jaden ordered as Wolf chuckled once more before sending a grateful look back at Jaden.

"Remind me to thank you later, Jay. It's hunting time!" Wolf yelled with an animalistic edge in his voice as he jumped high into the air, holding his left arm in front of him while his right hand reached around to his back, pulling the sword off his back. He descended towards the ground at an incredibly quick rate before landing deftly in between her Cyber Blader and her Mind on Air, despite his bulky frame. His gauntlet made quick work of her Mind on Air, shattering her armour to pieces and causing her to disappear into a burst of pixels, while the behemoth-sized sword cleaved her skater into half as she followed suit. Spinning on his foot, he dashed straight towards Alexis before swinging his sword once more; the backlash of the attack hitting her dead on and forced her to shield her face with her arms as she felt the sharp blades of wind cut through the fabric of her casual clothes.

~Alexis: (3000 - 1000) = 2000~

Double or Nothing! Spell: Targets a monster who's attack was negated this turn; allows another attack with double the original attack points.
Elemental Hero Wildedge's attack effect: Capable of attacking all monsters on the field in one attack.

"As hectic as that was, I'll finally call it a turn." he finished with a toned down smile as the combined bloodlust was sated as Wolf took his place next to Trix and bumped arms with her. It seemed that the last turn had everyone's blood pumping again as a loud cheer broke through the air once more, making him wonder why no-one had heard them yet. He shook his head regardless as he turned his attention to a slightly disheveled Alexis and chuckled. "So, Lex? Enjoying yourself yet?" he smiled as the holograms of Jaden's non-existent hand faded away. Alexis had to shake her head in disbelief; she had asked to see more of his deck but she had no idea that his cards would be so incredible or dangerous! She had never heard of a monster card that could attack all her monsters in one go, never minding that he did it with twice his original strength. One thing that did catch her attention was that he wasn't referring them to their original card names but rather more... humane names.

"Jay? I've been enjoying myself the entire duel." she smiled warmly back before deciding to ask her question. "One thing that's bothering me, though. What's with the names for your cards? Like, why are you calling your Rampant Blaster the same name as your Burstinatrix? Your Tempest you called Avi, so I'm assuming it's your Avian. And Wolf? I take it that it's your Wildheart's name?" she asked, confusing the onlookers as to why she was bothered by it but, to their surprise, he threw his head back and burst out laughing loudly.

"I-I'm glad someone finally notices!" he chuckled as he wiped a tear away, allowing him a moment to calm down. "You're one of the few people who have actually paid enough attention and clicked on as to the change of names. The truth is that it's the names of each of my Heroes. While in a different armour, Rampant Blaster is, indeed, my Burstinatrix." he smiled as he explained as said spirit rested her shield against her right leg and took the gauntlet off, revealing her slender and bare hand as she conjured a ball of fire with it. "Tempest is Avi, my Avian. He's the only one who can wear the armour because Avi's wings are something he's been born with. And Wolf is, indeed, my Wildheart and he's just borrowed some of my Bladedge's armour; who's original wearer's name is Stephanie." he professed, shocking everyone further.

"W-Wait... Bladedge is manned by a woman!?" Jenny interrupted from the sidelines as both she and Bastion made their way closer to the duel, the other side of the onlooking and stunned female students. He nodded in response, prompting her to fist-pump the air. "Sweeeeeeet!" she beamed, earning another laugh.

"As you can see, everyone-" he started again, turning everyone's attention back to him, "Each monster card is the anchor of the duel spirit within. You have good ones, you have bad ones and ones who you need to be extremely careful with. But they have their own personalities, their own backgrounds and their own lives! So I don't like referring them to their card names because I'm that close to each and one of them that they'll respond to me calling them by name." he smiled as each of his duel spirits appeared in the air behind him and smiling in response, much to everyone's collective awe.

"I've never faced someone who could easily take a standard duel and break off the scales from our eyes to see that there is still so much more to learn about Duel Monsters and the cards we play with. I honestly don't think I've learned or laughed so much in this duel than I have in my entire life! And for that, I thank you, Jaden." she professed with a sense of peace welling up in her and a spark of wonder she hadn't felt since she was a child, stunning them further when the usually-impassive Alexis Rhodes bowed to him in respect, moving them to applauding the sportsmanship between them both.

"Anytime, Lex." Jaden smiled back. "You gotta admit, that was a pretty busy turn of mine. I used eleven cards in just one turn!" he grinned sheepishly, earning a soft giggle in response.

"True, but you took out every last card on my side of the field and bolstered your defence with three fusions! That's pretty impressive in itself, Jay. Nice move." she complimented as the rest of the crowd shared in her sentiments and cheered loudly for Jaden, who blushed a little under the praise.

"Your move." he prompted.

"Gotcha!" she grinned, determination flaring in her eyes. "As amazing as your last turn is, and how incredible your duel spirits are, I'm playing the spell card, Dark Hole! Say bye to your monsters, Jay!" she yelled, earning surprised gasps from the other females but also some cheers for the great move as a Dark Hole appeared above the field. Both Trix and Wolf nodded to her in respect for the good move before they were quickly sucked into it, not even offering any resistance. She smiled as she saw everything in a different light and acknowledged them both. "Now, I'll play my Monster Reborn to bring back my Cyber Blader!" she continued as her monster reappeared on the field, landing a somersault perfectly. "I can't believe that you've got so many amazing cards in your deck Jaden! You've forced me to go all out, Jay... as I'll play my face down spell card, Polymerization, to fuse my Cyber Blader and my Cyber Prima for the first time to summon the one and only Cyber Prima Blader!"

A white flash blinded everyone before quickly fading away, allowing everyone to turn their attention to the new female figure on the field. She looked similar to that of her Cyber Blader but the main differences being the white highlights that appeared in her hair and the several hovering hoops that appeared on her arms and around her waist. She reached up and took the glasses off of her face, revealing her emerald eyes as the violet of her outfit was replaced with a bright pure-white.

(Cyber Prima Blader: Warrior / Effect / Fusion / Light / 10* / 3200 ATK / 1700 DEF)

"Now, her effect kicks in! She gains momentum whenever she's up against potential adversary and against the odds! Seeing as you have a card in your spell and trap zone, she gains six hundred points for each card you have. Now, attack Jaden directly with your Triple Axle Whirlwind!" she beamed as her monster's attack rose. She smirked as she hopped on her foot before skating gracefully and flawlessly across the field before jumping into the air as soon as she reached three-quarters of the way across. Spinning three full rotations, Jaden noted the glint reflecting off her blades as her attack landed as a three-fold attack, cutting his cheek on the last rotation and drawing blood.

(Cyber Prima Blader: Attack Boost; 3200 + 600 = 3800)

~Jaden: (8200 - 3800) = 4400~

Cyber Prima Blader: Direct attack to Life Points.

"Ouch!" Jaden winced as he touched his cheek, feeling something wet. Pulling his fingers away, he was surprised when he glanced down and saw his own blood. "Wow! After dueling all these years, this is the first time I ever got a flesh wound. I dunno whether to be scared or impressed at the fact!" Jaden laughed, wiping his blood away with his thumb before licking his thumb and smearing his saliva across the wound. "Looks like we both drew first blood, huh?" he commented playfully.

"I'm so sorry!" Alexis apologized frantically, worried of the repercussions. "I-I didn't mean you to get injured!"

"Lex, don't apologize! You just wiped out my monsters and made a massive dent in my life points, making a spectacular show out of it! Right girls?" he yelled to the audience, getting a loud roar of applause in response. Alexis couldn't help the feeling of warmth that began spreading through her body; starting at her stomach before travelling up to her chest and down between her thighs.

'H-Hold on! Am I really getting off on a duel? she thought to herself as she kept her composure but decided to not fight the feeling anymore. "Your move, Jay! Show me what you got!" she moaned loudly, not being able to restrain the feeling inside her any more; cue for another roar of cheers.

"My move!" Jaden smiled as he drew a card and grinned. "This is gonna be a bit of a bitch but I'll play a lesser-known spell card of mine called Painful Draw." he spoke up as he placed the card down. The design of the card was that of a deck of cards loosely piled together but bounded together in multiple chains that had spikes embedded throughout each of the links, wrapping around an arm that tried to pick up a card from the deck.

"Never heard of that one before..." Alexis commented, a little saddened by the artwork. He noted this and made a note to tell Pegasus to change the design so that it wouldn't throw or put people off.

"I doubt you would have; there's only five copies of it released and it's a limited-ranked card, meaning I can only include one copy of it in any duel. I can draw more cards but each card costs me five hundred life points for each one I choose to draw. Now, I have enough for eight cards but... I'm feeling lucky. Lex, pick me a number between two and eight!" he called out, earning her attention as her eyes widened.

"W-What?" she asked, stupefied. "You want me to choose how many cards to draw?" she asked again, not sure if she heard him right by giving her control of his turn.

"Yep!" he grinned, shocking her as she shook her head in response, letting loose the smile on her face.

"Okay then. I'll go with three!" she replied, watching on as three red orbs few from Jaden's body and landed in the slot used to hold his deck. She watched on in fascination as the top three cards glowed red before turning slightly brighter than the other cards, watching as he drew the said three cards. Putting them all into his hand, his soft smile turned mega-watt grin before lifting his hand in the air.

"Let's finish this!"

~Jaden: (4400 - 1500) = 2900~

Painful Draw Spell: Allows an extra draw at the cost of five-hundred Life Points per card.

"Bring it!" she yelled defiantly.

"I play my final spell card in this duel; Miracle Fusion!" he yelled. Everyone was awed as they watched as all of the duel spirits that had been played this duel all stood besides Jaden and made themselves visible to everyone. They all nodded towards one another as the original five took a few steps forward as Jaden continued. "You've thrown your best at me, Lex; I can only be fair enough to return the favor. This is a special kind of fusion but this time, I don't need a Polymerization to do so! I need to remove Trix, Avi, Marc, Jack and Dwayne from the game in order to summon the strongest fusion card in my deck..." he trailed off as the five heroes began floating in mid-air.

"Let's go!" all five yelled before they broke down into stardust and began to float up towards the moon, disappearing out of sight. A sparkle appeared on the edge of the moon as it gradually grew brighter; everyone gasping when the saw a figure came crashing down before suspending himself on the wings on his back before cocooning himself up in his wings; making the most of the introduction as his five spirits reappeared next to the rest of the group. His wings suddenly snapped back, sending a large gust of air throughout the grounds.

"He looks just like you, Jaden..." Alexis gasped as she took in the features of the new monster in front of her. Simple to say, it was a perfect copy of Jaden face but he dressed up in a slimline, shining silver armour that radiated a white aura that showed just how powerful he is. He had silver variants of his Tempest's mechanical wings and what looked like Cloud's Fusion Sword held in his right hand, similar to how the original character held it. On his chest plate were five orbs of energy that shone in different colours; red, yellow, green, blue and brown; representing the energy of the five who were used to summon this powerful spirit.

"You can blame that one on Pegasus, not me! He's the one who created this card for me in the first place! Anywho, I welcome to the field: Jason, my Elemental Hero Cosmic Champion!" Jaden beamed with pride as the now identified Jason swung his sword and flapped his wings in response.

(Elemental Hero Cosmic Champion: Warrior / Effect / Fusion / Divine / 12* / 3500 ATK / 3500 DEF)

"Amazing..." Jenny gasped in awe as she looked on at the two duel spirits that stood off defiantly against one another, seeing the determination in their eyes to be the one to claim victory for their duel partners. She felt her eyes water on feeling the bonds they had and wished she had that bond as well.

"Whoever wins this duel has truly deserved the win. Such magnificent skill and card play, despite the short duel!" Bastion complimented, not being able to keep the smile off his face.

"Woah!" Syrus proclaimed, speaking up for the second time in this duel as the chain had dropped out of Jasmine's hands a long time ago from paying more attention to this incredible duel. They all watched as Jaden reached into his pocket and pulled out a coin he had spare. He flipped the coin into the air and caught it in his hand, before smacking it on the back of his other hand. He nodded to himself before he lifted the hand up to reveal that it had landed on heads, making the Ra duelist smile softly at the result; knowing which way this duel would end. He placed the coin back in his pocket before turning towards a curious Alexis, who was watching the whole thing.

"If you were wondering what that was for; it was me deciding how this duel would end. I'll think I'll surprise everyone and reveal my last face down card, the one you didn't see in my hand that's been on the field since the beginning of the duel." Jaden smiled as his mind was set on how this duel would finish as a trap card rose up from the ground.

"Huh?" Alexis rose an eyebrow. "Final Fusion? What does that do?" she asked. Jaden simply smiled before wagging a finger at her.

"Ah, ah, ah! First, I'll explain my Champion's special effect! You see, much like the way he was summoned by the energy he gained from the original starter five Heroes; he improves further with each Hero that connects with him. Simply put, he gains three hundred points for every card with the word 'Elemental Hero' in its name from my hand, field, graveyard and those removed from play. Chuck me the lens a sec?" he called out to one of the female students that had picked it up once it was destroyed. Quickly jogging over to him while holding her towel across her chest, she handed the device over and won a warm smile in response; amking her blush sweetly before she ran back, holding a hand to her now reddened cheek. He chucked it back to Jack, who pushed a spark of electricity through it and got it working again as the holograms of all the effected cards appeared behind him in holographic form.

"You've got Burstinatrix. Avi. Marc. Dwayne, my Clayman. Jack, my Sparkman. Wolf. Stephanie, my Bladedge. Ayumi, my Supernova. Danny, my Necroshade. Trix as her Rampant Blaster. Avi as his Tempest. Wolf as his Wildedge and Jason himself as Cosmic Champion. This means he gains a colossal thirty-nine hundred points!" he explained grinned proudly as the energies of each of said duel spirits flowed up from them and into Jason, whose sword flashed with the absorbed energy.

(Elemental Hero Cosmic Champion: Attack Boost; 3500 + 3900 = 7400)

"Now, for the effect of Final Fusion. When a fusion monster declares an attack on another fusion monster, we both take damage equal to the attack points of the two monsters." he grinned as everyone gasped at the revelation, coming to the same conclusion. "The reason why I flipped the coin was to see how this duel ended. If it had landed on tails, I would have just attacked and win the duel." he explained. "Whichever way this duel went, I would be more than happy with the outcome; regardless if I won, drew or even lost. It's not about winning or losing the game; just how you play it. You've shown me that you're more than capable of keeping up with me and still throw more at me to deal with. You got game, Lex." he smiled as he pointed his two fingers towards her in recognition, making the blonde gasp at the sudden proclamation.

"R-Really?" she stuttered as her eyes glistened in delight from the compliment.

"You really want to know something?" he asked, winning a nod in response. "You're the first person I ever drew with in a duel. Call it a novelty experience." he winked, making her laugh freely in response as tears fell down her cheeks. "You know what to do Jace. Let's end this duel on a high with Lunar Eclipse Cleaver!" Jaden ordered with a grin. 'Thank you, Alexis... I think I can count you as someone I can trust.'

'You were truly magnificent, Jaden... your title doesn't do you enough justice.' Alexis smiled warmly at him, impressed by the skill he showed her as she swung her arm out to match his. "Go! Triple Axle Whirlwind!"

(Cyber Prima Blader: Attack Boost; 3200 + 600 = 3800)

"N-No way! How big is this attack going to be!?" Jenny yelled, stunned.

"... eleven thousand, two hundred points of damage to both of them. Simply awe-inspiring..." Bastion replied, speechless as he watched on with baited breath, much like everyone else as the waited for the final attack. Jason flapped his wings, suspending him further into the air as he grabbed his sword and pointed it towards the moon; prompting Alexis' blader to hop on her feet before she moved into motion and started skating once more across the field, building up speed and momentum as she did a few laps of the dueling area. Sufficient with the wait, Jason grabbed the hilt of his sword with both hands before flapping his wings powefully; propelling back down to earth, just as her Blader turned and blazed across the ground, leaving two thin trails of fire behind her before kicking herself up into the signature attack. Time stopped for a few moments as skating blades collided with sword; a small glint shining before the backlash of the two attacks created a starry explosion that covered the entire grounds and castle; prompting Jennifer and several other female students who were still recording at this point to capture the view.

~Alexis: (2000 - 11200) = 0~
~Jaden: (2900 - 11200) = 0~

Final Fusion: Both players takes damage equal to the combined total attack of both attacking Fusion-Type Monsters.

As soon as the attack faded, Jaden bolted across the dueling stage and rushed over towards Alexis; catching her in his arms just before she collapsed to the ground, unintentionally pulling him with her as a thunderous round of applause permeated the grounds they were standing on. Noting his softened landhig, he pushed himself up and glanced upon on a smiling Alexis as her eyes fluttered open.

"Hey there." he smiled, speaking softly to her. "Some position you pulled me in, huh?" he winked, playfully. She giggled tenderly in response to the small joke but she couldn't complain how things had turned out.

"Hey there, yourself." she copied his action as she gazed up into his brown eyes. "That was an impressive last move, Jay. I'm glad to have had so much fun dueling you out there." she complimented as she pushed his head away with her finger. "I'm also glad that I can take the claim to your first ever draw." she giggled once more, earning a soft chuckle from him in response.

"You were pretty amazing out there, Lex." he replied warmly. "You've shown me that you could give me a run for my money but you've proven that you understood the number one rule in dueling; having fun and enjoying the game. I'll admit... I'm pretty damn proud of you, Lex." he continued smiling at her, setting off the butterflies in her stomach as her cheeks reddened slightly.

"Charmer..." she whispered as her eyes traveled to his mouth. She whetted her lips before shocking the brunette by grabbing his cheeks with her hands and bring him in for a soft kiss, earning wolf-whistles, cheers and 'whoops' from the girls there, Jenny included.

Jaden was stunned by the sudden display of affection before his mind was brought back to the kiss when she began sucking on his lips with fervor. He closed his eyes as he relaxed and melted into the heartfelt kiss, stunned by the amount of emotion she put into it as she held him close to her. Her right hand move upwards as she caressed his brown locks while his arms held himself above her body. She moaned into his mouth as their tongues began to collide against one another; an overwhelming heat coursing through her body as she began rubbing her thighs together.

"Oh my god! Alexis is making out with Jaden! I'm sooo jealous, right now!" Jasmine yelled, throwing a cute tantrum while Mindy consoled her by patting her back. "L-Look! She's totally getting into it and she's getting horny!" she pouted, cursing her friend for her incredible luck.

"Well," Bastion coughed politely, embarrassed by the public display of affection, "This is an unusual turn of events. Wouldn't you say so, Jenny?" he asked as he turned to his fellow Ra, noticing the warm smile on her face. He knew that there was a slight bond between the two of them and that Jennifer definitely had a soft soft for Jaden and seeing her so calm about this was surprising to say the least. She shook her head before turning to Bastion with a knowing smile.

"What can I say? He has an unusual magnetism which draws girls towards him." she commented off-handedly. "I should know. Believe me when I say this..." she spoke before leaning into Bastion's ear. "One kiss from him and I was practically melting into his arms." she whispered, winking towards him before moving back.

"I see." Bastion replied, amused by the revelation. "A womanizer in all aspects of the term. Quite the irony, don't you think?" he commented back, earning a smile and nod from the redhead beside him. All this time, the real perpetrator of the crime had hidden in the nearby forestry once he felt like his cover was blown when one of the girls alarmed that there was a guy in the girls' territory. Crowler, who was still hiding in the bushes, was physically and mentally fuming at the sight of the two of them kissing one another as steam began blowing from his ears. His faced was etched into a fierce snarl as his teeth gritted against each other. 'HOW DARE HE MAKE A MOVE ON THE QUEEN OF OBELISK BLUE! I WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS; I. WILL. HAVE. HIM. EXPELLED!'

"Awww! Why can't I be like that?" Syrus pouted to himself as the girls nearby giggled at the response as one of them took a small token of sympathy and softly rubbed his hair. She widened her eyes at how smooth and soft his hair was before adding a second hand to her actions. Syrus was blushing up a storm as he let her play with his hair while the other female students giggled playfully and 'coo'ed' at the two of them. Back on the dueling area, Jaden and Alexis continued to kiss before the need of oxygen proved too great, separating themselves as a string of saliva formed to keep the pair connected. They were both harshly panting as their eyes clouded over, half-lidded.

"Wow..." he breathed, amazed by whole thing as he never experienced a kiss as needy as that one was. He had experienced kisses of that length with his duel spirits but there was always something missing which this had. He thought that they were being respectful and didn't want to push him but he made a note to show them he was fine with it.

"Yeah..." she replied in kind, amazed that her first kiss would be so incredible. "I never knew... a kiss... could feel... that damn good...!" she laughed as he copied his actions from above her. He moved himself off her and leaned back, offering a hand to lift her up.

"Amen to that..." he agreed with a smile as he felt her hand in his; prompting him to pull them both back to their feet, just as Jasmine and Mindy made their way towards the pair with Syrus, Bastion and Jenny close in tow behind them.

"You gave me your first draw... I gave you my first kiss." she leaned in and whispered into his ear before pulling back and winked, shocking the Ra duelist.

"I never knew..." he whispered before his warm smile appeared once more. "Thank you, Lex." he replied a bit more loudly, now his breath had recovered. "Now! Time to take Syrus off your hands and return to the dorm. I'm starving and I'm more than likely gonna sleep through the morning after all that. Damn... I'm gonna need another massage." he groaned playfully, earning a swat to the arm from Jenny and a round of laughs from everyone there as Jasmine took the bindings and chains off of Syrus, letting him walk slowly over to Jaden's side. "I'll see ya tomorrow, Lex. Ladies." he smiled, extending his hand in an offer for a handshake.

"Good night, Jay." she smiled in kind, taking his hand. Her eyes widened as she felt something she knew he wanted to give her before pulling his hand back and shooting one last wink to her before the group of four headed back to their dorm. She looked down into her hand and found a piece of paper that was stuck to the back of a card sleeve. She gently pried the paper off before opening it up, reading the contents:

"07-Hoshiryu: Call me! Jaden :3"

She laughed loudly as she pocketed the note before turning back to the sleeve in her hand. She turned it over, making her gasp as she saw that there were dueling cards inside. She reached her fingers in and was further shocked that there was more than one card in the sleeve, prompting her to pull out all the cards; revealing to be four cards in total. She quickly scanned cards before she slowly broke out in laughter once more, pocketing her new cards. "Charmer!" she giggled.

"You were never gonna turn him in, were you?" Jasmine asked, jealous of her friend's lucky streak. Alexis continued laughing as she shook her head in the negative.

"No chance in hell. Things are much more interesting with him here, than without. That? And I honestly wouldn't mind a few more duels... or kisses like that." Alexis replied before she walked away with a sway in her hips, smirking. Unknown to everyone, on one of the balconies of the Obelisk Blue dorm: stood a figure that was dressed in a black t-shirt and a pair of blue checkered pajama bottoms. Having been disturbed by the first piercing screech, it woke him up and went to investigate the issue. He was surprised to find Jaden in tow with Jennifer but as soon as he heard there was a duel taking place, he snuck back into his room and watched the entire event from the balcony. He pushed himself off the wall as he glanced down towards where the three girls were busy plotting their revenge against their infiltrator.

"So that's the power of the Elemental King... simply outstanding. I have to duel him myself; I want to see how I fare against him with my Cyber Deck." Zane smiled, having watched the duel from the balcony outside his room before returning inside and closing the door behind him. "I'm also curious as to how he'll fare with two girls chasing for his attention. I wonder what Atticus would say...?" he mused to himself as he flicked the light off, retiring for the night.
