(The Tower)
Dimitri walked to the tower and unlocked the door. Push the door open. I still need to fix that door again, Dimitri said. Walk inside, put down Jasmine's baby bag on the sofa. Dimitri took off his duster and lay on the sofa next to the door. Jasmine was still crying and whimpering. Dimitri carried Jasmine upstairs to Jasmine's bedroom and sat her on her bed. Dimitri asked, "Are you ready to go to sleep?" Jasmine looked sad and was still crying. Dimitri said, "You had a big day today," and walked over to her dresser. Dimitri opens the dresser and finds white ones with feet with sheep on the front. Dimitri thought how cute it was.
Dimitri walked back to bed, started undressing Jasmine, and put on her tee-shirt and new pull up. Jasmine looked up at Dimitri's eyes with a sad expression, tears in her golden eyes. Dimitri said, "Everything is going better in the morning." He discovered Jasmine's hair was softer and smelled like baby shampoo. started brushing her hair. Seeing on the back of Jasmine's neck, there were eight molnijas marks on her neck still there. Dimitri lean foreward and kissed Jasmine's molnijas marks made a small giggle from Jasmine. Dimitri discovered Jasmine's scent had disappeared.
Dimitri reached over, picking up a wolf stuffed toy and handing it to Jasmine. Jasmine said, "Alex!" Dimitri realized Jasmine called him "stuff wolf" after her brother. Dimitri didn't understand or know why Rose would hurt Jasmine for. Dimitri put Jasmine in the middle of the bed with pillows on each side of her. He laid down next to her and started singing her mother's Russian Lullaby again. Jasmine's whimper started slowly and came to a stop, and she fell asleep. Jasmine had her fingers around Dimitri's finger. Dimitri gets up, kisses her head, turns the light off, and goes downstairs.
There was a knock on the door. Dimitri opens the door, seeing Vasilissa, Christian, Eddie, and Adrian standing outside the tower door. Dimitri said to Adrian. You are not smoking in here. Adrian took a last drag off his cigarette and dropped it on the ground. Adrian, step it out! Dimitri said, "Pick it up." You do not leave trash on Jasmine's front step. Adrian said, "Fine Criddle Robber," and reached down, picking it up and putting it in his pocket. Dimitri just looked at Adrian.
Eddie, Vasilisa, and Christian sit on the couch while Adrian sits on the beanbag.
Dimitri said, "By now, all of you know or have discovered that Jasmine is different from normal dhampiers." Eddie asked, "What do you mean, different?" Vasilisa said, "How Jasmine learns fast and acts differently than other people." Eddie said, "that Jasmine was shy around new people." Christian said, "No!"
Christian said, "Jasmine is an element!" Adrian said, "The Element." Christian said, "Female Dhampier with the power of Moroi." Adrian and Eddie said, "Huh!" Adrian said, "I always thought they were stories." But I found out the truth is fucking amazing.
Adrian asked, "What do her powers let her do?" Dimitri reached over, picked up his journal, and said, "Can shoot fire balls, jet flames, one or both arms catch fire, hold fire in her hands without burning her hands.
At the lodge, Tasha threw a fireball at Jasmine. Jasmine waved her hand and made it fly into the fireplace like it was flying to her. Adrian said, "So Tasha might know about Jasmine." Eddie said, "Everyone already thinks she is crazy about ideas." We will make everyone believe Tasha made up this story about Jasmine.
Dimitri said, "Jasmine can see lights or colors around people and get a feeling from them." Adrian said, "Auras." That is spirit magic. Vasilissa said in the cafeteria tonight. Jasmine healed Eddie's neck from all the strigoi bites. Adrian said, "Another spirit power." Eddie moved the shirt to show Dimitri all the bites from the strigoi marks were gone. Dimitri said, "Interesting."
Christian said, "At the lodge, Jasmine used to compel Tasha to find out why my aunt Tasha disliked her." Aunt Tasha believes Jasmine will steal you away from her. Because your family loves Jasmine and not Aunt Tasha. " Dimitri said, "It's true that my family already loves Jasmine like a daughter." Dimitri said, Tasha tried to compel Jasmine the night at the lodge in the dinner room, and Jasmine asked Tasha if she really thought that was going to work on her. Dimitri said, "Jasmine can see the echo of the past." Eddie asked what echoes meant. Jasmine touched the ground with a hand and pictures of her mind saw events that happened. Christian said, It like watching the history channel. But Jazz is the alone could see it happen.
Adrian asked, "What about water, earth, air, light, and metal?" Can Jasmine do any of them? Dimitri said, "Jasmine made the air open the windows, circle us, and back out the window."
Christian said, "Back in kindergarten, Jasmine would play alone most of the time." Because Vasilissa and Rose would lie to Jasmine and leave her alone to play with each other. Vasilissa and Jasmine first met under the playground when the older boy beat Jasmine for being smaller than them. Jasmine would get sad, and it would rain for days.
Jasmine would play Alex, her imaginary friend from Wolf Toys. It would storm when Jasmine got mad or upset, feeling forgotten by Vasilisa and Rose. " Adrian said, "That is water, wind, and light working together." Dimitri said, "Jasmine showed power in kindergarten, and no one realized Jasmine was different. How the fuck does that happen? " Christian said, "Because the teacher leaves Jasmine alone to play by herself and most of the time forgets about her to deal with other children.
Vasilissa said, "Dimitri, and I found Alex isn't Jasmine's imaginary friend from and wolf toy name. But it turns out Rose and Jasmine are not twins. "Alex was Rose and Jasmine's brother." Dimitri said, "Now I understand the reason Jasmine froze like stone next to a lake." Jasmine relieves the lost memories before the attack and after the attack. They can't hurt you anymore. Jasmine looked over Christian, Vasilissa, Eddie, and Adrian and said, "Colors," pointing at Vasilissa and Adrian. Dimitri said, "Do you see their auras?" Jasmine cocked her head to the left and at the question. Adrian said, "Do we shine?" Jasmine said, "Yes!" to Uncle Adrian."
Jasmine climbed down from Dimitri's lap, leaving her wolf in his lap. Jasmine walked around the coffee table between Adrian and Eddie, looking under the side table for something. Dimitri said, "Baby girl." What are you looking for? Jasmine didn't answer him and was looking under the side table.
A few seconds later, Jasmine came back from under the table with a metal tin can in her arms. Jasmine said, "Bear, open it and have some goodies." Christian and Vasilisa recalled that Jasmine used to call Eddie by the nickname "Bear!" When they were growing up,
Eddie opened the tin can to discover it was one of Jasmine's secret cookies. Dimitri jumped up and hoped that he could get cookies before Jasmine got one. Dimitri reached out and grabbed the tin can away from Eddie before Jasmine got one of the cookies. Jasmine said, "Daddy!" They are mine. Give it back. Jasmine moved back around the coffee table, heading to Dimitri. Dimitri said, "Baby girl can't have a cookie now." It's your bedtime. Jasmine reaches out to grab the cookies, but the cookies are out of reach. Jasmine said, "Daddy!" Please give me the cookies. Adrian laughs while watching Jasmine trying to get cookies from Dimitri and having no luck. Dimitri said, "No!
When a loud crack of thunder made the tower shack Jasmine froze and ran over Alex's wolf toy and said, "Alex! I pee again". Jasmine ran over to Christian to hide her face from the storm. Christian reached down, picked Jasmine up, held his arms, and said, "Just come down." The storm will disappear soon.
Vasilisa, Eddie, Adrian, and Dimitri could hear the howling of the wind outside the tower. Christian said, "Jazz is making a storm. Because she wants a cookie. " By upsetting her, Dimitri causes the storm. One cookie will not hurt her and, besides that, the only way came her down was cookies. But now you have a problem thinking it's going to be peaceful to calm her down. Guess what? It isn't just that Jasmine holds all the elements in her hand like a toy. Any control that she had is nothing right now."
Vasilissa, Eddie, Adrian, and Dimitri knew that what Christian said was the truth. Dimitri knew that she had to work twice as hard to keep her calm. Something like this couldn't happen again.
