Leaving the Leaf Village Team 7 escorted Tazuna to the Land of Waves. As they walked Naruto casually touched a tree. Sasuke, Sakura, and Tazuna thought he was being quirky or something but Kakashi knew he most likely marked it with the Hiraishin seal. After a two hours of walking on the path they passed a puddle of water that Kakashi knew wasn't right. After about twenty paces past the puddle a chain came out of nowhere and wrapped itself around Kakashi. Two men were holding the other ends of the chain and pulled hard ripping Kakashi apart. "Sensei!" Sakura shrieked. The two men then moved towards Tazuna with Sakura and Sasuke jumping in front of him. "Get him!" One of the men said before receiving a kick in the gut sending him flying into a tree. "Crusher Fist!" Naruto said bashing the other knocking him out. With swiftness he tied them both up as Kakashi appeared next to him. "Nicely done. I'm glad I didn't have to intervene. These two are shinobi, I believe they are the Demon Brothers, Chunin level." Kakashi stated. "Oh man. They must really not want you to build that bridge." Naruto huffed. " If we knew ninjas were after you we would've made a different team with the right level of shinobi." Kakashi berated. "I'm sorry we don't have much money and a C rank was all we could afford." Tazuna admitted. "Fine we'll take you to your village but if it gets too dangerous we're retreating." Kakashi said giving Naruto a certain look letting him know he knows about the tree and the Hiraishin seal.
Going further they eventually made it to the ocean and got on a boat taking them to the Land of Waves. "So who's after you anyway?" Kakashi wondered. "It's Gato." Tazuna breathed. "Gato? Of Gato Transport? I thought he was a business man?" Kakashi asked shocked. "That's just a front for his criminal activities. He's a crime lord and runs the criminal underworld in a lot of villages. We are trying to build the bridge to connect to the Land of Waves and get help from the other islands. I live on the largest island that is roughly half the size of the Land of Fire. There is strength in numbers even though we don't have shinobis here." Tazuna explained. "This is really too much. We might just drop you off at the shore and go home." Kakashi said annoyed. "If you do that my poor grandson will be said "My grandad I want my granddad" he'll say. And his mother will be distraught that her father was slain and that the Leaf Shinobi didn't help him out." Tazuna whined. "Fine we'll get you home." Kakashi sighed. "Man he really knows how to guilt a person." Sasuke shot. "No kidding." Sakura groaned. "Least we might see some action." Naruto pointed out trying to find a silver lining.
After making it to shore they walked for an hour before Naruto sensed something or someone was following them. As they kept trekking Naruto took a kunai and threw it to his left. "What happened?" Sakura shrieked. "Someone is following us." Naruto glared. Going towards the kunai he found a white snow rabbit. "You idiot! That's a poor little rabbit." Sakura cried. "Oh no I'm sorry Mr. Rabbit." Naruto coddled it. "That rabbit should have brown fur in this time of year not white. He must have been raised in doors… for a replacement jutsu." Kakashi thought. Suddenly a giant sword flew spinning in their direction. "GET DOWN!" Kakashi ordered. Everyone hit the ground and narrowly avoided the blade that flew up into the side of a tree. Looking up they saw a man land of the handle of the blade. "Well if it isn't Kakashi the Copy Ninja. No wonder the Demon Brothers failed." The man cackled. "Who is this guy?" Naruto wondered. "It's Zabuza Momochi, one of the Seven Swordsman of the Mist wielder of one of the Seven Deadly Blades." Kakashi answered. "Seven Swordsman, that's like the Mist's version of the Three Legendary Sanin more or less." Sakura stated. "Why thank you little girl." Zabuza said honestly. "It's an honor to be compared to the Sannin." He added. "I'm good but I'm not that good…yet." Zabuza finished. "So Gato got you to do his dirty work eh." Kakashi mocked. "Well the pay is good and a shinobi has to eat." Zabuza shot. "You three protect Tazuna, this guy's on a different level. For him I'll need this." Kakashi said lifting his forehead protector revealing his left eye. It was red with a circle in it and on the circle three tamoes resided. "The Sharingan Eye." Zabuza said taking his blade and landing on the ground. "What's the Sharingan?" Naruto asked. "The Sharingan is a Kekkei Genkai that resides in the eye. It allows the user to perceive, copy, and predict motion as well as throw a jutsu back at the opponent." Sasuke explained. "That's only the tip of the iceberg kid. The Sharingan can analyze a jutsu down to its most basic power and allow the user to acquire it as part of their arsenal. As well as see through Genjutsu." Zabuza thought to himself. "How the hell does he have that...that is part of The Uchiha Clan, my clan. Could he be..." Sasuke wondered.
With swiftness Kakashi and Zabuza engaged each other in combat. Kakashi blocked Zabuza's sword with a Kunai and threw a roundhouse kick that Zabuza blocked with his forearm. The two were evenly matched till Zabuza activated his Hidden Mist Jutsu and brought forth a thick mist that blocked everyone's vision. Sasuke began to tremble in fear at Zabuza's Killer Intent that was flooding the battlefield. "Calm down, don't worry Sasuke. I got this, I won't let my comrades die." Kakashi assured him. Focusing hard Kakashi tried to sense Zabuza's location. After a minute he pinpointed him and attacked only to find out it was a water clone. That exploded and trapped him. "Water Prison Jutsu." Zabuza laughed. "Now I got you Kakashi the Copy Ninja." Zabuza taunted. "Get Tazuna out of here!" Kakashi ordered. "Like hell." Naruto argued. "Hey freak with no eyebrows I'm your opponent now." Naruto declared. Zabuza then created a water clone and sent it after the group while he held Kakashi while standing on the lake.
Naruto charged the water clone and attacked it with great ferocity. Zabuza was impressed with his skill and admired his talent. The water clone tossed Naruto around only to be caught off guard. "Crusher Fist." Naruto sent forth his fist and unleashed a powerful blast that nearly destroyed the water clone and tore through the surrounding trees. "Damn." Said the water clone. "That kid is impressive, that attack had major power and had it connected my clone would've dispersed." Zabuza huffed. "Ugh! I'm sick of this fog. Razor Tornado Jutsu." Naruto announced sending the tornado towards the water clone and blowing away part of the mist and ripping the water clone up. Zabuza then created another with a stronger amount a chakra. "This time you die." The clone hissed. "Naruto let's get him together." Sasuke chimed in. "Right." Naruto agreed. The two charged forth with Sasuke using the Grand Fireball Jutsu and Naruto increasing its power with a Wind Style Gail Palm. The flames grew larger and hotter as they as flew towards the clone. Activating a water wall, the clone shielded himself briefly before the flames evaporated the water creating large amount of steam.
Using the steam as cover, Naruto and Sasuke threw several kunai towards the clone. Blocking, the clone watched as some of the kunai weren't aimed at him but at Zabuza on the lake. Zabuza dodged the kunai with ease when suddenly Naruto appeared next to one of the kunai and aimed his Crusher Fist at Zabuza forcing him to let go of the Water Prison Jutsu. "How the hell did you move that fast brat!" Zabuza spat as he attacked Naruto. As drew his sword and brought it down on Naruto, Kakashi intercepted the attacked and blocked it. "Naruto, Sasuke good work I'll take it from here." Kakashi said proudly. The two Jonin eyed each other intensely. Kakashi wasn't in the mood to toy around. He unleashed a fury of attacks on Zabuza who countered but was put on the back foot. Darting back from each other both shinobi began going to various hand signs before finishing at the same time and same hand sign. "Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu." They said in unison. Two water dragons arose and attacked each other. "How the hell did he use the same jutsu as me simultaneously?" Zabuza wondered. Zabuza started to move while Kakashi did the same way simultaneously. Kakashi copied his moves perfectly. " How are you doing this?" Zabuza growled. "Can you see the future?" Zabuza and Kakashi said at the same time. "Impossible." Zabuza voiced terrified. Looking at Kakashi who was performing hand signs, Zabuza saw a ghostly image of himself behind Kakashi doing the same thing. "Water Style: Giant Vortex Jutsu." Kakashi declared coldly. The water began to whirl and twirl and overcame Zabuza and sent him back to land where Kakashi pinned him to a tree with several kunai. "This is the end." Kakashi stated landing on the branch of the tree before three senbon needles penetrated Zabuza's neck seemingly killing him.
"What happened?" Naruto wondered as he got back to shore. "I did." Said a masked ninja standing on a branch looking down at everyone. "Who the hell are you?' Sasuke asked. "I'm a hunter ninja, my job is to dispose the body of rogue ninjas once they are killed or do the deed myself." The hunter ninja said. "So you can just come in and end him like that!" Naruto shouted. "Calm down Naruto. That's the way the ninja world works." Kakashi told him. "But he's barely older than me. Me and Sasuke had to team up in order to just free you. and barely beat a clone." Naruto spat. "There are shinobi out there who are younger than you and stronger than me. It's just how it is." Kakashi sighed. "If you don't mind I bid thee farewell." The hunter ninja said getting Zabuza's body and leaving.
"Well guess we should get Tazuna home." Kakashi said as he put his forehead protector over his eye right before passing out. "Kakashi Sensei!" Naruto yelped dashing towards his sensei. "He must be suffering from chakra exertion." Sakura concluded. "We need to get him to my home, come hurry!" Tazuna expressed. Rushing to Tazuna's house, they got Kakashi aid and put him in bed. "What do we do now?" Sakura asked. "You rest up, tomorrow is a new day." Tazuna stated. " Tsunami will prepare your dinner, Inari and I will get your rooms set up." Tazuna informed them. Later that night the trio ate dinner and talked with Tazuna. "So what is your daily schedule? Sasuke asked. "I work on the bridge with my team. I do most of the designing and purchasing of the supplies and my head foreman makes sure the teams build accordingly when I'm not there. I also do a lot of teaching and getting more hands to help which is why Gato really wants me dead." Tazuna replied. "Then we'll have to escort you wherever you go and at least one of us stay here and protect your home." Sasuke suggested. "Right, maybe do it in shifts. One of can be on guard duty, one protect the home, and the third can train. We can rotate daily." Naruto chimed in. "That's actually a good idea." Sakura stuttered shocked at his form of thinking. "What? I can have a good idea." Naruto shot.
On the following day Sasuke went on to escort Tazuna, while Naruto stayed at the house guarding Inari, Tsunami, and Kakashi, and Sakura was in the forest training. "How come you chose to be here?" Inari asked quietly. "Because heroes protect." Naruto smiled with made Inari roll his eyes. "Besides I needed the rest. I did a bit more than Sasuke against Zabuza. Plus Sakura definitely needs the training. Honestly if the three of us were put in a battle against someone like Zabuza or each other she'd be the first one taken out." Naruto said grimly which made Inari flinch.
In the forest Sakura was doing some workouts and target practice. She also exercised her chakra and tried to use it to increase her speed and strength. "I've got to get stronger. If it weren't Sasuke and Naruto we'd all be dead. There wouldn't be anything I could have done to stop or either slow him down. I don't have any jutsu either. Sasuke and Naruto both have fire and Naruto has his shadow clones and other elements. I've got to come up with something." Sakura said determined. After a couple of hours Sakura had developed a jutsu. Making a few hand signs, she charged up a her chakra and created arrows out of strong and sharp rocks and shot them at the trees. "Awesome, the Rock Arrow Jutsu." Sakura smiled as she passed out.
Waking up Sakura found herself in Tazuna's house. "How did I get here?" She wondered. "Your teammate carried you back." Tsunami told her. "Sasuke!" Sakura expressed with gleam in her eyes. "No Naruto." She replied. "Oh brother." Sakura sighed. "You're welcome." Naruto pipped up startling her. "When the hell did you get here?" Sakura asked. "I never left since I brought you back. Just thought I check on you. Kakashi Sensei is awake by the way." Naruto huffed as he walked away. Soon the door opened up and Tazuna and Sasuke walked in. "How is everyone?" Tazuna asked. "We're well Father, how was your day?" Tsunami asked. "It was pretty steady. No threats for the moment which is nice and the bridge is coming along fine." Tazuna replied. "That's nice to hear." Kakashi said coming into the room on a crutch. "I see you up, how are you feeling?" Tazuna wondered. "I've been better, though I may have some bad news." Kakashi stated as he went to a chair to sit. "What is it Sensei?" Naruto inquired. "Well that hunter ninja killed Zabuza and then took his body. Why not destroy his body then and there? Also think of the weapon he used and where he struck him." Kakashi started. "Hmm. Those things were like needles, I remember reading a book about pressure points and things that can be done if they are struck. A kunai or shuriken honestly would have been better weapons to kill him. Heck use an explosion tag on the kunais and kill him and blow up his body at the same time." Naruto pointed out which shocked Sakura and Sasuke. "All true, which means most likely Zabuza is alive." Kakashi said intensely. "Damn it." Sasuke grunted. "I'm going to have to up your training. I might not be able to fight but I can still teach you all." Kakashi said. "That's what were kind of doing. Naruto said we should do things in shifts, one protect Tazuna, one guard the house, and one train in the forest." Sakura told him. "Good idea, I'm proud of you Naruto. That was some unexpectedly good thinking." Kakashi admitted. "Thanks…I think." Naruto replied unsure if that was a half compliment or not. "The house should be safe, the primary point of attack would be the bridge. Tomorrow morning I'll start you on a new training. Whoever is the best at it will be the first to go with Tazuna." Kakashi informed them all.
As the morning came Team 7 went to an area in the forest and began their lesson. "Ok, today will be a chakra exercise. You will climb the trees." Kakashi said making a hand sign and walking up a tree. "Without the use of your hands. This will be a chakra training." Kakashi said smiling. "This will be easy." Naruto expressed. "You'll want to get a running start. And use this kunai to mark how high you get." Kakashi said tossing three kunai to the ground. "Go!" Kakashi belted. The three Genin dashed for the kunai grabbing them and then each ran up a tree. Sasuke made five steps before his foot went into the tree. Naruto made seven steps before slipping off. "Damn If you use too much chakra you break the tree. And too little you slip off like Naruto did. So you must have complete balance." Sasuke thought. "What the hell? Man I slid right off." Naruto groaned. "Wow this is a great view." Sakura smiled from high up on a branch. Turning to her direction, Naruto and Sasuke saw her standing thirty feet above them on a branch. "So the female of the group has the best chakra control, how about that." Kakashi commented. Twenty minutes went by and Sakura made the best progress allowing her to leave and go protect Tazuna.
Naruto and Sasuke continued to train, more and more trying to get the method down. "Man, I able to use my chakra to increase my speed and strength, but for this I have to hold it in place. I have to find the right rhythm." Naruto sighed. Focusing Naruto steadied his chakra till it felt like he was standing on something. In that instant he dashed for the tree keeping that exact flow and was able to get further than he had before till he reached the top. "Yeah! I did it! Believe it!" Naruto cheered. "Damn it. I need to be better than him. I have to be stronger if I'm to kill Itachi." Sasuke said to himself. "Need some advice?" Naruto asked appearing next to Sasuke startling him. "No! I can do it." Sasuke hissed. "Ok suit yourself. Make sure you find the right rhythm and flow." Naruto said going off alone to do more training.
At the bridge, Sakura looked around and observed the surrounding making sure nothing appeared out of place. Looking out at the water she studied to see what ways the enemy could attack from it and worked on ways of countering it. She thought how her new jutsu could be of use, but opted it would be a last resort as it would set back the bridge building. Once the sun started to set, She escorted Tazuna back home. Arriving she saw that Kakashi was sitting resting while Inari was reading a book and Tsunami was preparing dinner. "Where are Sasuke and Naruto?" She asked her sensei. "They are still out there training. Hopefully they are back soon and get dinner while it's hot." Kakashi answered. After a couple of minutes, Naruto and Sasuke came through the door, with them helping each other walk. "Seems like you guys had a rough time." Kakashi observed. "Yeah, I got around to reaching this guy to seek help." Naruto grinned. "Shut up loser." Sasuke groaned. "Go get cleaned up you two, dinner will be ready soon." Sakura told them. "Why are you guys even bothering?" Inari said annoyed. "Because it's the right thing to do. We have a duty to protect those who can't protect themselves." Naruto said proudly. "You mean like a hero. That's a fool's errand. All it gets you is death." Inari shouted. "Sounds to me like you're a coward. All you do is whine saying we shouldn't fight. Sometimes you have to do something you don't want to do. Fight for the greater good. No need to be baby because you had it rough." Naruto argued. "You know nothing of a rough life and having to deal with hardships." Inari belted. "SHUT YOUR MOUTH! Naruto roared causing everyone to dump. "You shouldn't assume what someone has gone through. You don't know everyone's past." Naruto glared at him. "Whatever." Inari said leaving the room. "He's that way since he lost his father Kaiza. Well stepfather." Tazuna said. He then told them the story of Kaiza and everyone began to see what Inari was going through.
Going outside to Inari, Kakashi went to talk with him. "I know Naruto may seem brash but he means well. He's a person who's always had to lookout for himself as he never knew his father or mother. I've never seen him sad or crying. He's always got a smile and determined to be the best he can be. He's just trying to inspire you in his own weird way." Kakashi said. Hearing this Inari thought of some of the words Naruto said and how he might have to change.
Elsewhere in a dark and murky hideout Zabuza was recovering. "Damn you Haku did you have to aim for my neck. It still stings." He huffed. "Well if I aimed anywhere else you'd be upset that I messed up your perfect body." Haku teased. "So you're just sitting here are cozy." A voice spat from the door. Turning to see who it was, the two shinobi looked upon Gato. "I'm in pain you ass and recovering as fast as I can. Don't worry in three days I shall be fine and Tazuna will be dead." Zabuza growled lowly. "You better or else." Gato glared at him as he reached to smack Zabuza only for Haku to grab his wrist and grip it tightly. "Ugh you brat!" Gato wailed as his bodyguards went to aid him only to be stopped by Haku. "Leave this place lest I destroy you where you stand." Haku threatened. The three of them left hurriedly. "As cold as always." Zabuza cackled.
Over the next two days, the Genin had gotten a lot done in their training. Sasuke was alone in the forest focusing on his chakra and finding different ways of molding it. He could feel a surge of energy and life throughout his body and a dancing spark. Focusing harder he managed to bring lightning to his fist. "Yes… more power." Sasuke grinned with passion. He started training with lightning seeing if he could make a new weapon for battle. He crossed his arms and had his fists clenched. Charging up the lightning he swiftly opened his arms and stretched them wide releasing a string of lightning with two balls on each end creating a bolo. The electric bolo charged forth with great speed and wrapped around a tree before exploding in a blast of lightning. "Humph. Lightning Style: Bolo Lightning." Sasuke smirked. Working hard he did acrobatic drills and aimed to create at least one more lightning jutsu. "I must surpass Naruto and then Kakashi, only then will I be strong enough to kill Itachi." Sasuke thought. Holding his right arm out straight Sasuke released a thin but powerful blast of lightning. "Static Shocker!" He declared as it tore up the ground and ripped through trees. "Yes." Sasuke breathed eagerly. Elsewhere Naruto was training hard trying to improve his chakra reserves when using the Hiraishin. He managed to get his number up to four uses in a day. "Damn I've got to get this number higher. For now I'll have to rely on my natural speed and get it up a notch." Naruto huffed.
The next morning everyone except for Naruto got ready to go to the bridge. He was dead tired from the heavy training regime he gave himself. "You sure you're up for going?" Tsunami asked Kakashi. "Oh yes, I'm much better thanks." Kakashi smiled. "What about Naruto?" Inari wondered. "Let him rest. He put his body through the ringer." Kakashi stated. "Let's get moving." Tazuna grunted. Going to the bridge they arrived to see several working on the ground dead. "No, what's going on here!?" Tazuna panicked. At that moment mist began to surround them all. "Glad you could join us." Zabuza chuckled with Haku next to him. "So you really are working together." Sasuke stated gazing at them. "Aww does that make you feel scared. Sine now you have to deal with two lethal shinobi." Zabuza taunted. "Look at you just shaking in fear." He observed as he created five water clones to surround them. "No, I'm shaking with excitement." Sasuke corrected. "You can have him Sasuke." Kakashi told him. Sasuke then took out the water clones in a splash. "Impressive you've gotten a bit stronger. Have at him Haku." Zabuza chimed. In a flash Sasuke and Haku clashed with each other while Kakashi eyed Zabuza and Sakura stayed close to Tazuna.
Senbon and kunai clashed with ferocity and precision. Water was splashing from their feet hitting the ground. Soon they were at a stalemate and pushing against each other with their weapons locked in one arm each. "Now I've got you." Haku said calmly. Using one handed hand signs he started to activate a jutsu to Sasuke's surprise. The water started to stir and swirl and flew into the air and formed senbons that jetted down towards Sasuke. "Damn it." Sasuke breathed as he blasted chakra through it in order to dodge. "He's quick." Haku commented. "Bolo Lightning" Sasuke released his attack and sent it hurdling down at Haku who moved and missed the brunt of it, but the electricity traveled through the air via traces of water and managed to shock Haku stunning him a bit. Sasuke landed and smirked at him. "Haku!" Zabuza yelled. "I'm fine." Haku panted. "Hmm. He's created his own jutsu. He and Naruto are quite something for their age." Kakashi thought. "Sasuke's really amazing." Sakura blushed.
"It's time to take this to the next level." Haku voiced making several hand signs and caused the water around him and Sasuke to rise and surround them. "Hidden Jutsu: Crystal Ice Mirrors." Haku proclaimed. "It can't be." Kakashi gasped. "What is it Sensei?" Sakura wondered. "This is a Kekkei Genkai a bloodline trait like the Sharingan. It was said this particular one was extinct." Kakashi further explained. "Seems like your little Genin has met his end." Zabuza laughed. Kakashi went to move towards the mirrors to help Sasuke, but was intercepted by Zabuza. "Not so fast Kakashi, if you go there I kill the bridge builder." Zabuza pointed out. Kakashi could do nothing but hold his position.
Inside the mirrors Sasuke looked around and saw each mirror had a reflection of Haku. "This will be your final battle." Haku prophesied. Moving with incredible speed he launched dozens of senbon needles towards Sasuke skewering him. Blood was splattered on the ground, but Sasuke stood firm. "Static Shocker!" Sasuke sent forth his jutsu and managed to crack on of the mirrors. "Impressive." Haku observed. "Woah! That was incredible!" Sakura expressed. " Heh this kid might actually be a challenge for Haku." Zabuza scoffed.
"Ice Needle Shower!" Haku sent forth a hundred ice needles at Sasuke who dodged some and blocked the rest by using his Static Shocker and twirling it around himself. "He's smart, I'll give him that." Haku complimented. The ice then started to repair itself. Seeing this made Sasuke grimace. "While that was a good move, I don't know how long Sasuke will be able to keep it up." Kakashi sighed. Spontaneously, Haku was hit with several explosive shuriken knocking him out of the mirrors. " Sorry I'm late. "Naruto chuckled. "You should've stayed hidden Naruto." Kakashi berated. "Oh…guess I should've." Naruto said sheepishly. "You're quite loud." Haku grunted. "He's the number one hyperactive knuckle headed ninja, Naruto Uzumaki." Kakashi informed Haku. "I see." Haku responded going back into the mirrors. "The hell kind of jutsu is that." Naruto wondered observing it intensely. While he was he noticed Sasuke was trapped inside.
"We can take him if we hit from both side. We might actually have a chance." Sasuke thought over. "So we getting out of here?" Naruto asked appearing beside Sasuke. "What the hell dork!" Sasuke croaked. "What? I'm busting you out of here." Naruto grinned. "Naruto! You two could have hit on both sides!" Kakashi snarled. "Oh come on Sensei we can break out. It's just ice." Naruto assured him. "It can repair itself dumbass." Sasuke spat. " Let's see it repair from this. Raging Fire Jutsu!" Naruto breathed releasing an intense and powerful flame that nearly melted the ice. Haku felt a great surge of heat that caused some of the mirrors on the opposite side to start melting. Increasing his chakra he started to reform the ice quickly. "Damn he nearly escaped that fire was incredible" Zabuza gasped. "Ok let's do this the hard way." Naruto growled. Dashing towards the mirrors he propelled his fist and attacked. "Crusher Fist!" He bellowed sending forth the large pure fist of chakra. Several mirrors were destroyed. "Impossible!" Haku yelped. Moving quickly Naruto and Sasuke got out of the mirrors' range. Seeing this Zabuza plotted his move and increased the density of the mist. "Sakura stay close to Tazuna." Kakashi ordered.
Lifting up his forehead protector, Kakashi activated his Sharingan. "So I get to defeat the legendary Sharingan." Zabuza said. The two Jonin engaged in battle and unleashed several jutsu. "Ninja Art: Sword shower." Zabuza said summoning ten katanas in the air and sending them down upon Kakashi. Moving quickly he was able to dodge most of them and got a couple of cuts. "Ninja Art: Mochi blast." Kakashi retorted summoning a blob of mochi that managed to hit Zabuza and slow him down as it surround him and started to harden. "Burning sword jutsu!" Zabuza roared making his sword heat up to a thousand degrees and cutting through the mochi. "Ninja Art: Iron Kick." Kakashi did a roundhouse kick that sent a concussive blast towards Zabuza cracking his ribs. "Damn it." Zabuza panted
Meanwhile Sasuke and Naruto were double teaming Haku. They were sending punches and kicks at high velocity, however Haku managed to counter and block them with his own Taijutsu and speed. "Water Style: Bubble Barrage." Haku blew several dozen highly compressed bubbles at incredible speed towards the two Leaf Genin. "Razor Tornado!" Naruto breathed countering it while Sasuke went to the side and brought down his leg in an ax kick knocking Haku down. Recovering quickly he sent out another flood of needles. Naruto managed to offset them with his Crusher Fist. Sasuke noticed that every move Haku made was getting easier to perceive. He was then able to bypass his defenses and out maneuver him and get in several precise strikes. "I can see him." Sasuke grinned, his eyes blaring red and black. "The Sharingan!" Haku gasped. "I must end this battle quickly. Ice Style: Ice shards!" Haku leaped into the air and unleashed dozens of ice shards at the speed of sound. Sasuke blocked and dodged all the attacks while Naruto got behind Haku and bashed him in the jaw breaking his mask and sending him to the ground. "You two are quite talented." Haku coughed. "Nice eyes." Naruto commented. "….Shut up." Sasuke huffed. "So what are you waiting for…kill me." Haku said. "The hell? I'm not like that." Naruto glared. "I must die. I lost so I'm no longer of any use to Zabuza." Haku said. "That sounds like you're a slave. You should live for yourself and have your own goals and dreams." Sasuke chimed in.
"Wow you two are bad at your jobs." A far away voice spat. Looking towards the distance of the voice they saw Gato standing with a large group of mercenaries and hired goons. " What the hell are you doing here?" Zabuza asked. "Firing you. I wanted that man dead already and I'm sick of waiting." Gato huffed. "Well looks like we're no longer enemies, Kakashi." Zabuza said casually. "Yeah seems that way." Kakashi agreed. "Kill them all." Gato ordered snapping his fingers. His small army charged the five shinobi and Tazuna. "Sakura protect Tazuna." Kakashi ordered. "Right." Sakura said holding her stance. "Let's bash some heads." Naruto grinned eagerly as he charged into the fray and started to take out the mercenaries. "You coming?" Sasuke looked at Haku. "Sure." Haku replied. The two dashed forward and fired ice and lightning into the army. "We should hurry before they take all the fun." Zabuza pointed out. " Yeah lets." Kakashi said as the two went wen to help the others. The five shinobi all moved with incredible speed and precision scaring all in their path. Zabuza moved like a true demon in the mist. Kakashi zipped around with grace and fluidity. At one point hand was in engulfed in lightning. "Lightning Blade!" He bellowed as he tore through several men like butter. "Damn Sensei." Naruto grinned. He then blasted his Razor Tornado blew away a large amount of mercenaries. Seeing that they were being annihilated they started to run and flee for their lives. "Get back here and kill them." Gato cried. At that moment Zabuza moved towards him like a homing missile. "Stay away!" Gato screamed. Zabuza moved swiftly and sliced up Gato and ended him. "Now nobody will have to deal with your anymore." Zabuza said coldly.
Looking around and seeing all of the living mercenaries had fled everyone relaxed. "So what happens now?" Sakura asked. "Now we wait for the bridge to be finished." Kakashi replied. "Where will you guys go?" Naruto asked. "To the next paycheck." Zabuza grunted. " That's all? Why not try to find your own path. Fulfill a goal or something. You can't just go on being a hired goon, you're way too strong for that." Naruto stated. "Guess you do have a point. One of the things I wanted to do was change the Hidden Mist Village. They had us kill our fellow classmates in order to graduate. The village was corrupt and blood thirsty and honestly I hate the way it made me. Guess I can try and give others a different place to live." Zabuza stated. "That sounds amazing." Haku smiled. "Oh and since Gato is dead and I know where he keeps his books I can give you guys some money." Zabuza said. "Getting something from a millionaire would be nice." Tazuna guffawed. " Millionaire…you're joking right." Zabuza said speechless. "No…" Tazuna replied. "Gato wasn't a millionaire. He was a multi billionaire. Hell in a year he'd had been a trillionaire possibly." Zabuza informed them all. "Wow he was loaded." Sakura gasped.
After a week had passed, Tazuna had finished the bridge and connected the village to main island of The Land of Waves. "Thank you for all you guys did for us." Tazuna expressed. "You're quite welcome." Kakashi replied. "Hey I thought about what you said and I'm going to try and be brave from now on." Inari said. "That's good. Make your own path and find your purpose in life. And always protect those close to you." Naruto told him. The Hidden Leaf Shinobi then left the Land of Waves. "So what are we going to name this bridge?" Asked one of the villagers. "The Great Naruto Bridge." Tazuna stated. "That kid inspired me to live a better life." He smiled.
