Chapter 3: The Family's Future

The next morning the day after Christmas 1896 at the Webb farm about 10 in the morning Hector Web, Charles and Caroline Ingalls and their children Carrie, Grace, Cassandra and James. Laura and Almanzo Wilder with Rose and Jenny all gather as Albert and Sylvia with their two baby children Matthew and Olivia are about to ascend up into Heaven to talk to the Almighty God. Albert says to the whole family, "We must go now and see about our family's future."

Hugs and kisses all around as Hector Webb, Charles and Caroline Ingalls and their children. Laura and Almanzo Wilder, Jenny and Rose wish them luck. Then they all give Matthew and Olivia a kiss on the cheek as they coo and giggle at each member of the family.

Albert holds Matthew, Sylvia holds Olivia.They walk a few feet away from the family to clear a spot as a tunnel of light from Heaven develops and brings them up in the clouds and the rest of the family look up in awe at the site.

A few minutes later Albert and his wife Sylvia along with their two children arrive at the Pearly Gates. Saint Peter greets them, "Go right into the chamber office. God is waiting and expecting you," He tells the couple.

"Thank you Saint Peter," Both Albert and Sylvia say.

As Albert and Sylvia walk by St Peter smiles as well. As they walk towards the office chamber Alyssa, Jack the dog and May Webb watches as the couple proudly walk by with their children, "I'm so proud of you my daughter and son-in-law," May Webb says.

Sylvia and Albert smiling proudly as they continue walking then they go through the main cloud door into God's throne.

Now in the presence of God Almighty in His domain of Heaven God says to His Heavenly Angelic children, "Albert, Sylvia my faithful children. I am proud of you. You both have done very well in working for me on Earth and now you have given me two young children. They also will be used greatly."

"Thank you Lord!" Albert and Sylvia say at the same time.

As God continues to speak He motions His hand to Albert and Sylvia to approach Him with the babies. Albert and Sylvia walk up, stand right in front of God.

The Lord touches Matthew and Olivia on the head and they miraculously grow older. They are now 9 years old. Matthew has a golden watch on his wrist. Olivia has a golden necklace of a yellow flower around her neck.God Almighty says, "Matthew my young lad the watch is to give you superpowers to do My work on Earth also Olivia the same with your necklace is to give you superpowers to do My work on Earth."

Matthew and Olivia both say to God the Father, "Yes, we will be glad to do Your work on Earth."

God waves his hand and the new 9 year old children are transformed in new clothing. Olivia is clad in a beautiful red dress with a bonnet, a small shawl and a short cape. Her flower necklace in the center of her shawl.

Olivia looks down at herself, smiling she looks up at God and then at her mother and says, "Ma, I look just like you."

Sylvia smiles at her daughter as she says, "You sure do!" Then Olivia smalls back at her Ma.

Matthew now has a new black tuxedo with a short cloak, small black boots. His gold magic watch on his left wrist.He also has a smaller black bag to match his dad's doctor's bag.

Matthew also looks down at his outfit, smiles looks up at God and then to his Pa and says, "We also look alike, Pa!"

Albert looks at his son smiles and agrees, "You sure do son! You can also be my little helper with your little doctor's bag. Matthew again smiles at his dad.

"What names shall you both be called Olivia Ingalls and Matthew Ingalls?" God asks.

"Ohhhh! How about Olivia Quinn and Matthew Quinn the Heavenly Boy and Heavenly Girl?" Sylvia asks.

"I think that suits our children fine Sylvia." Albert says, "Also we now can be called, The Heavenly Family!"

God agrees to them being called Matthew and Olivia Quinn the Heavenly boy and Heavenly girl and being known as the Heavenly family as He extends his hand in salute directly above the two children.

Matthew and Olivia then both look at God and ask, "What will be our work on Earth?"

"You both have a duty to fight evil and injustice with you parents. My two Godchildren these powers are to be used only when needed... To do otherwise could be disastrous. You must listen and obey your parents and they will train you how to use your powers wisely. Also just like your parent's rings, your watch, Matthew and your necklace, Olivia will have the abilities not to be removed. Anybody who attempts to remove your gifts forcefully will be instantly condemned by me. Also you are forbidden to be influenced to go into Hell the domain of my enemy. Otherwise you will face total obliteration," God seriously says.

Olivia and Matthew listen to their Holy Lord and Saviour very seriously. Albert and Sylvia watch and remember the time when they was instructed by the Lord.

Olivia and Matthew nod their heads, "Yes."

"Go My four children! Use My powers to protect the frontier bring to justice those who would do evil. I dub you all THE HEAVENLY FAMILY!"

Albert, Sylvia and their two children bow to their Lord and Saviour and they leave God's Mighty chamber. The Lord smiles at the departing family.

The family says goodbye to St. Peter, May Webb, Alyssa and Jack the Dog as they go through the Pearly Gates and then all four drop down the clouds heading straight to Earth.

Through the clouds of Earth there is a whooshing sound. Then four capes are seen, two large ones and two small ones. The four figures appear. A man, a woman, a girl and a boy flying through the sky.

"Weeeeee! This is fun!" Olivia Quinn happily says flying next to her Ma.

"This is so cool!" Matthew Quinn says, excited flying next to his Pa.

Al and Syl both look at their children smiling as they fly knowing their children's excitement.

"It is! Isn't it children? Remember we going to have to train you both to use your powers wisely," Syl replies.

"Your Ma is right. Not only that. We are going to have a lot to do once we get back home. Like making you both a new room, getting you both into school back in Walnut Grove. Also Matthew later I will have to train you in the art of doctoring," Al says.

Olivia and Matthew then move over to the middle of their parents as they fly. Looking at them, "We will make you both and our Lord proud of us Ma and Pa. We promise!" Olivia and Matthew say.

Al and Syl look at their children. Then they smile knowing that their children will fulfill their promise.
