Ryu vs. Mii Brawler: Celebrating 23 Years of Smash Bros.

On a beautiful evening at Midair Stadium, everyone is gearing up for a special battle to commemorate 23 years of Super Smash Bros. as fireworks light up the sky to honor this amazing series.

Just then, Terry came in to the stadium with his referee suit as the crowd cheered for him. Then he said, "Good evening, everyone! I hope you're ready for some Smash Bros. action because we're celebrating 23 years of Super Smash Bros. with a very special battle just for you! So, shall we meet the fighters?"

The entire arena agreed as they cheered in excitement.

"Okay! First up in the red corner, we have the legendary warrior hailing from Street Fighter. He loves to fight against many opponents and his attacks are amazing. Ladies and gentlemen, here he is! The Eternal Wanderer... RYU!"

Just then, the red doors open up as Ryu entered the stadium with a smile as the crowd cheered for him before making his way to the center of the arena.

Then the spotlight shone on the blue door as Terry said, "And now making his way to the arena in the blue corner is the Brawler of Many Faces. He uses his fists and kicks to defeat any opponent that stands in his way. You know him, you love him. Here comes the Mii Brawler... REGINALD!"

Just then, Reginald entered the stadium from the blue doors as the crowd cheered for him. He used his cartwheels to enter the arena before coming to the center with a kick in the air.

Terry came to the center of the stadium and said to the crowd, "There they are, ladies and gentlemen! Your fighters for tonight's match! Great to see you again, guys!"

"Thank you for having us, Terry!" Ryu and Reginald replied with a smile.

"Now as you know, this year marks the 23rd anniversary of Super Smash Bros. What does it mean to you?"

"To me, Smash Bros. is all about fighting," Ryu replied with a smile, "Ever since I made my first appearance in the fourth tournament, I enjoy the excitement of what the series is all about. From big battles to amazing Final Smashes, we have it all and I hope that this match will bring some new memories for me."

"I see," Terry agreed with a smile. Then he came to Reginald and said, "Reginald, same question."

"For me, it's all about fair play and good sportsmanship," Reginald said, "After all, we've been doing this for 23 years now and I know that no matter what happens here win or lose, just have fun and enjoy the match. That is what the series mean to me."

"I agree with you as well," Terry added, "We have our fair share of battles during the years and after all, you have to play by the rules and be a good sport. Well then, shall we go to the rules for tonight's matchup?"

"Of course," Ryu said with a thumbs up.

Terry agreed with him and said, "All right, then! In this match, there will be a Smash Ball and to make this battle extra special, I'm going to give you five minutes! That means whoever has the most KOs at the end of the match, wins. If there's a tie, then we go to Sudden Death. Got it?"

"Got it, Terry," Reginald said with a smile.

"I agree with him," Ryu added, "Let's make some history right now!"

"Okay! Scoreboard, can we have five minutes up on the clock, please?"

The scoreboard agreed as the timer is set for five minutes.

Terry looked at them and said, "Well Ryu and Reginald, this is it! Are you ready to have some fun tonight?"

"You bet," Reginald and Ryu replied at the same time with a fist bump.

"Very well, then. Good luck to the both of you and have fun. Fighters... PREPARE FOR BATTLE!"

With that, Ryu and Reginald walked on over to their starting positions as they are ready for battle.

Terry smiled at them as he came to the center of the arena. Then he said, "Ryu and Reginald... ARE YOU READY?"

"Ready," Ryu and Reginald replied with a smile.

"Okay, then! The battle will begin on the count of three. Audience, would you like to join me in the countdown so we can start this showdown?"

The entire stadium agreed with Terry as they are cheering with excitement.

"All right, then! Here we go!"

With that, Terry raised his hand up as the entire stadium joined him for the countdown. It is time to fight.

"3..."

Ryu assumed his fighting stance.

"2..."

Reginald looked at him as he took his battle stance.

"1..."

Both fighters took one final deep breath as they await the signal to start.

Terry looked at the fighters as they are tensed up and ready to fight. Then he took a deep breath, waited for the right moment and then...

It is time.

"GO!"

With the word shouted, Ryu and Reginald took off at the same time to start the battle as the crowd cheered for this exciting moment.

Ryu starts the battle with a Hadoken and it hits him with minor damage, but Reginald used his Shot Put to to damage Ryu as well. Everyone in the arena is enjoying the excitement as the fight raged on with four minutes left.

Terry looked at the match and said, "Well, it looks like both fighters are going all out tonight as we approach the halfway mark of this amazing showdown and so far, no one scored a KO. This is going to be exciting!"

With only ninety seconds left on the clock, both fighters are giving it their all. From Ryu's Shoryuken to Reginald's Head-On Assault, they are fighting with style. This continued on for thirty seconds until...

GASP!

A Smash Ball appeared as the crowd gasped in excitement. Terry saw it and said, "There it is! The Smash Ball is now in play with only one minute to go! Whoever breaks it will have a chance to use the Final Smash!"

Ryu and Reginald saw the item and decided to fight for it. Someone has to use a Final Smash, and fast.

"Forty-five seconds!" Terry announced.

Both fighters used their moves to break it as the timer keeps on ticking. This goes on for fifteen seconds until...

SMASH!

Ryu broke the ball with a punch. Now he has to use a Final Smash.

"Wow! Ryu broke the Smash Ball with only thirty seconds left," Terry said, "If he can use it before the final buzzer, then it will count as a Final Smash!"

"Well Reginald, I had a great time fighting with you tonight," Ryu said with a smile, "But now, it's time to finish this! Ready?"

"Go ahead, Ryu," Reginald replied with a smile.

"All right, then! Here I go! Shinku..."

Ryu charged up his Hado to maximum power as Reginald braced himself for Ryu's Final Smash. Terry looked at the clock and said, "Ryu's going for the Final Smash with only fifteen seconds left! Will it be enough to finish the match? We're about to find out right now!"

Ryu looked at his Hado as the power reached 100%. Then he aimed it at Reginald, took a deep breath and then...

It is time to strike.

"HADOKEN!"

WHOOSH!

With the word shouted, the Shinku Hadoken has been released from Ryu's hands as it heads straight for Reginald. The crowd saw it all as the timer turned red, signaling the final ten seconds of the match.

Reginald looked at the attack as he puts up his shield. The crowd saw the timer and decided to start the final countdown with Terry. It all comes down to this, the final five seconds.

"5..."

"4..."

"3..."

"2...

"1..."

BUZZ!

BOOM!

A huge blue explosion covered the arena in smoke just as the final buzzer went off to signify the end of the match.

Terry saw it all as the entire stadium grew silent. It is only a matter of time before the smoke clears up.

When everything is all done, it shows Reginald laying down on the arena floor and with that, he has officially been knocked out by the Final Smash.

Terry looked at the sight and with a huge smile, he delivered the final announcement.

"GAME! RYU WINS!"

The entire stadium erupted in cheers as Ryu did his victory uppercut while saying, "Your range is one fist short!"

Reginald stood up from the knockout and said, "Great fight, Ryu!"

"Same to you, Reginald," Ryu replied with a smile as they shook hands with the crowd cheering for this moment, "You did good out there tonight and I am so proud of you. Say, care for some burgers at Burger Smash?"

"You bet!"

And so, Reginald and Ryu left the stadium with a huge smile as the crowd cheered for these two warriors. What a great night for a battle.
