Note: With how canon has come along, I can stay this miniseries has fell into a full AU. A few minor OCs will be shown for a bit of worldbuilding, nothing drastic.

"Adam, we don't have to do this! What will destroying another do to benefit the Faunus?!" Blake pleaded.

"And what do you do about oppression? You've lived in a gilded cage all your life." Adam snarled with his hand still on the detonator. "You know nothing of the poor and the struggling."

"You're right on that. But, tell me something Adam. Do you anything of the people Cinder works for? Her end goal? Because considering you helped her destroy a kingdom, that's not benefiting the Faunus. No, if anything, she's using our kind as a patsy to hide the real threat. If you think bending to her will benefit you, then go ahead, but will your followers be of the same mind?" Blake asked as the remaining White Fang members faltered.

One by one, the Fang members dropped their weapons to surrender. Adam could only look in disbelief as Blake once again asked Adam to just surrender. Adam triggered the detonator only to find nothing to happen and Ilia having disarmed the bombs. Adam could have said something about that but turned to Blake.

"Please, just do it for me, and let's end this." Blake said extending a hand only for it to be slapped away.

"Do this for you? Blake, you don't get it. You're just too privileged. I may fall, but you can't kill the ideal. You may discover my face behind this mask, but you will never know my face." Adam said before pulling out a surprised detonator. "Long live the White Fang, Blake!"

CLICK! Adam exploded, surprising all that he even had a bomb strapped to himself. For Blake, she could only sputter in absolute horror as the blood splattered on her face. The police, the former fangs, and the people could only look on at what occurred. At his final moment, Adam went out wanting to emphasize the ideals she stood by and died for them.

Ruby's body felt sore as she opened her eyes. She looked up only to see ceiling and realized she was in Haven Academy. She forced herself up before feeling something wet on her hands. She looked to see it was blood. Her friends were all there, all looking afraid much to her confusion.

"What happened?" Ruby asked.

They did not answer. They did not want to tell her what happened. Ruby looked around to see blood everywhere. On the walls, the ground, and on her shivering friends. At her feet, Ruby stumbled back in horror as there in front of her lay Cinder's lifeless body. It was then Ruby saw the other bodies that lay on the ground cold and lifeless. Lionheart, Hazel, and Vernal's were mangled hunks of flesh. Raven lay on the ground as Yang was choking her while punching her face in repeatedly.

"You…massacred them." Jaune said hauntedly. "You flipped out and you just…killed them all with no mercy. Cinder begged you to stop…pleaded…offered to sell Salem out. You just…tortured her."

Memories flashed as Ruby held her hand falling to her knees.

"No! No! NO! It wasn't supposed to be like this! This isn't the way a hero is supposed to be act." Ruby said hyperventilating.

Ozpin was beginning to realize how bad the situation was. He was literally fighting Salem with a team of basketcases. Qrow was trying to pull Yang off of her sister saying she had enough.

"No, she hasn't! She's got 17 years worth of beatings!" Yang screeched trying to break free.

(A/N: It's better you don't know what happened. Let's just say if Emerald had saw what happened, she'd be a cracked mess. Implications can be scarier than the real thing. And besides, Ruby's breakdown was something that was going to happen for a long time. Adam's death was a way of redeeming his canon one in that no one takes his life but himself.)
