Emerald did not what to think of the situation in front of her. Apparently, farm boy was their neighbor and their babysitter. Emerald would have not taken this so shockingly if not for him being by his four sisters and his parents, Ozpin and Salem. No doubt about it, that was Salem. She was just only looking more human and happier.

"Yay! Grandma Salem!" Sapphire said running up to her.

For Emerald, it was utterly surreal. From what her memories told her, she used to be a supervillain and Ozpin was her superhero rival fighting for years until they ended up having a tryst that had led to Oscar and later the quadruplets. Mercury was thinking that the goth look had suited Salem perfectly, especially the black lipstick.

"Oscar, thanks for showing up to watch the twins while we get Emerald's brother. No need to bring the calvary." Mercury said.

"But I had. Ami, Megumi, Liz, and Isabella wanted to come over." Oscar said exparasted.

"I actually came over to give you this back." Ozpin said returning a power drill.

Mercury accepted before dragging Emerald to the garage before she started sputtering. Mercury flipped on the lights to their large garage had two cars in it. A minivan and a snazzy 2012 SRT Viper GTS painted black with green streaks.

"We're taking the sports car." Mercury said sliding over the hood to the other side. "Well, are you getting in?"

"Ok, I will admit this car is cool. Can you even drive?" Emerald asked getting in.

Mercury revved the engine as the garage door opened up. Mercury found this car to be a dream to drive on the road and Emerald was hanging on for dear life when he found the nitrous oxide. They picked Max up soon after and Mercury could tell this kid saw some shit. The ride was fairly silent as Emerald and Max did not exactly know how to approach this, but Max spoke up first.

"Thanks for taking me in and fighting to get me. It was kind of cool to stand up to our bitch of a mom." Max admitted.

"It was no problem. I couldn't just leave you with her." Emerald said trying to ease the tension. "You're going to like our town…"

"And Mercury, thank you for kicking my mom in the face. That was cool, and I gladly accept you as my brother in-law." Max said with snigger. "But that fits, Lupis Noir, the Merc of the Night."

"That's your hero name? Comic book cheese, much?" Emerald teased.

"And what do you for a living?" Mercury teased. "Oh right, teach at an elementary school. I guess Max is going to be seeing you a lot."

"Fuck you." Emerald said.

"You already did that this morning." Mercury snarked.

"Hey lovebirds, wait until I got my DS and my headphones in." Max said getting said things out of his back.

"You still have an old model? That's actually a good thing…I need one for a few transfers. If you lend it to me, how about I get you a 3DS in exchange?" Mercury said as Max was sold on idea.

Emerald was back to being quiet wondering if Cinder was also in this world. Was she a supervillain? Did they have history? Emerald's memories have not shown that's the case…so far. She only hoped that being a teacher was the worse thing she had to deal with.

(A/N: We'll get back to them soon enough. I enjoyed doing this miniseries and having Emmy fret over it while Mercury's calm and collected over it. Moving on, let's get to more Emercury snippets.)
