The entire group looked towards the voice but it was Ron who voiced what everyone was thinking, "Bloody hell!"

Ginny was quick to address Harry, "Harry James Potter! You better explain what is going on right at this moment."

Harry threw up his hands, "Alright don't curse me. I was sitting in my office looking over the map when I saw Remus' name. I rushed up here to see him standing here in the hall. He gave me information that very few people knew."

Remus intervened at that point, "He is telling the truth. I gave him some information only Harry, Ron, Hermione, and my wife knows. I know that you all learned that people couldn't be brought back from the dead but apparently Death can bring people back. One moment I was at the Final Battle and the next I was standing in the Room of Requirement facing this young lady."

He gestured towards Death who stepped out of the shadows and began speaking, "Hello everyone. I know this is a lot to take in but this is the truth. I am Death and I brought Remus and others back from the beyond."

Hermione looked suspicious and slightly raised her wand towards Remus, "What information did you give Harry?"

Smiling Remus faced the witch, "I told him what happened at Grimauld Place after Bill and Fleur's wedding." Hermione shot a look at Harry and he nodded at her, implying he was telling the truth.

She lowered her wand and looked at Death, before she could ask the question that was burning in her mind, Vincent Crabbe opened his big mouth and laughingly said, "You're Death? You don't look like Death."

Lavender slapped his shoulder and lightly scolded him before turning to Death, "I apologize for him. Sometimes he is an idiot. I love your look."

Death smiled at her and waved off his comment, "Don't worry I'm used to it. I came up with the dark outfit that Death is known for a millennia ago, mainly to have people fear me and not try to cheat me. Unfortunately, it hasn't worked a few times. The Peverall brothers are an example of that, along with Nicholas Flamel. This is my normal look and when I am not collecting souls I look like this."

Hermione looked like she was going to burst with so many questions, "How many people are here? Why bring them back? Are they all on the Light side? What is the catch with this? There must be a catch right?"

Ron put his hands on Hermione's shoulders and pulled her back a few steps, "Calm down Mione. Let her answer your questions." Taking a deep breath, Hermione nodded and simply looked at Death.

Taking that as her cue Death spoke, "I'll answer those questions in the order they were asked. I don't know the full number of people. I didn't do an exact head count. They were brought back because the world was out of balance because more people from the Light side died then they should have. That's my fault. I apologize. I wasn't paying as much attention as I should have been. Though my brother Fate did find out that this was technically supposed to happen. I don't fully understand but I trust my brother. Yes they are all on the Light side, though some may surprise you. The catch is that their memories only go up to when they died. Though some have been watching over the living for many years they don't remember it. Whenever you are ready we can go into the Room of Requirement and you can see everyone for yourselves."

Daphne had a thought, "We should have some kind of form to fill out. That way we can keep an official record of who they are; when they died; who their families are; and even their blood status so we know how difficult it will be to reintroduce them to society and catch them up on what is going on. I know it blood doesn't matter, but you have to admit that it will be harder to reintroduce a muggleborn into society with their family than a pureblood. We should even get their Hogwarts House, that way we can connect with them with others from that house so they have a support system."

Lavender nodded her head, "She's right. How should we do this?"

Hermione grabbed her small beaded bag that she had carried around since the war out of her pocket and dug inside for a piece of parchment and one of the new instaquills that Ron had fashioned after muggle pens. She began writing down all that Daphne had said and even added some of her own questions to it. When she was finished, she took out her wand and cast Gemino on the parchment and the quill before handed one of each to Draco, Lavender, Ginny, and Daphne, "Make at least fifty copies of these. Have some of the others help as well. I also need a few of you to count everything and organize."

Death and Remus watched in fascination as everyone immediately jumped into action without even using words they split and had some people casting the charm, some counting the objects, and some moving in between the two groups carrying the objects from those casting to those counting.

After they were done copying everything, they gathered the supplies and faced the pair. It was Harry who addressed Death, "Alright we are ready to meet everyone."
