Author's Notes: Alright so here is the 6th episode of my series "13 Ghosts Of Scooby Doo In 2021" with my OC's Cheryl and Jayden. This is a Christmas episode, and obviously takes place in December 2021. Fred will also be in this episode, but he'll only show up towards the end.

Also, I just realized that I forgot to explain how in my previous story "Thousands Of Years," Asamad broke the spell that Covington put on Ophelia (my other OC). So, I'm explaining it in this chapter.

Vincent sat in his chair with Asamad standing by his side as they watched the rest of the gang decorate the Christmas tree that was put by the fireplace.

Daphne made the finishing touches and looked over at Vincent.

"So, what do you think?" she asked.

He cast a glance at the newly decorated Christmas tree, with its colorful lights, presents wrapped underneath it, ornaments in all different sizes, and a shining star right on top.

"I think you all did an excellent job on it," he nodded.

"It's very admirable," Asamad agreed.

"Thanks for allowing us to put it up, Vince," Flim Flam smiled.

"Rand for letting us rinvite Fred rover to celebrate rith us," Scooby added.

"Well, you've all been asking me for a few weeks, and since Christmas is only just days away now, I thought that it would finally be time for me to say yes," Vincent replied. "As for Fred, it was a pleasure meeting him last June. So, I am more than happy to have him join us here for Christmas."

"But still, thank you," Shaggy said.

"You're welcome."

"I'm really glad that we're all celebrating Christmas together this year. The last time we were all together during Christmas time, we didn't get a chance to celebrate, since we were too busy looking for Scrappy," Flim Flam recalled.

The whole room grew quiet now. Vincent, Daphne, Shaggy, Scooby, Flim Flam, Jayden, and Cheryl had all remembered how instead of waking up to open presents, they woke up to find that Scooby's nephew, Scrappy, went missing. They continuously searched day and night for him for weeks, yet, not a single trace of him was found at all.

"I wish he was still here with us," Cheryl sighed.

"We all do," Jayden frowned.

"I can't believe it's been about 5 years since," Shaggy agonized.

"He was only just a puppy too."

There was silence again for a few seconds, until Daphne started to speak.

"Well, I think we should start putting up the stockings now," she said, changing the subject.

She and the others started to do so, meanwhile, both Vincent and Asamad noticed that the crystal ball was starting to glow.

"What's this?" Asamad wondered.

"It appears that we have found another one of the ghosts we must capture," Vincent observed.

Everyone else noticed it too and stopped what they were doing, and gathered around the crystal to see what was going on.

"Which ghost is that?" Velma asked, as she saw a huge, green figure with yellow eyes appear.

"That's Demondo," Daphne told her. "The last time we encountered him, he trapped us in a comic strip."

"Looks like he's got a new plan now," Jayden began. "According to the crystal, he's been reviving the dead and turning them into demons ever since he's been freed from the chest."

"Turning them into demons!?" Shaggy repeated, shuddering at the thought of it.

The crystal continued to glow as it revealed the location of the ghost.

"Not only that, it seems that he is also nearby," Asamad stated.

"He's not rin rhe castle, ris he?" Scooby quavered.

"Fortunately for us, no," Vincent responded. "However, he is only just a few miles away."

"We'd better go find him now before he turns anyone else into a demon," Cheryl suggested.

"I've got the Chest Of Demons with me," Velma announced, holding it in her hands.

"But wait, what about us decorating? We haven't even finished doing that yet," Flim Flam reminded everyone.

"I promise you that we can finish decorating after we're done capturing Demondo," Daphne assured him.

He nodded, and everyone put on their coats before leaving the study room, except for Vincent and Asamad, who stayed behind to talk for a minute.

"You should know that the others made you a present for Christmas," Asamad told him.

"Really? Do you know exactly what it is?" he questioned.

"I do, however, I cannot tell you. They told me to keep it a secret because they only want you to find out once you open your present. They also said that it's from me too now since I'm keeping the secret. I found out about it when I accidentally walked in on them wrapping your present yesterday."

"Well, thank you for getting me a gift."

"You're welcome, but I really think you should be thanking them once you open your gift," the red ghost stated.

"I will," Vincent said. "I just don't know what gifts I should get them, or you."

"If you ask me, I don't want anything. In fact, everything I wanted to receive or to happen, with the exception of me fully achieving redemption and going to the afterlife, have already been given to me and have already happened."

Vincent nodded and put his cape on.

"Well, none of them have told me what they want yet," he said.

"Maybe they just don't want to ask you for anything," Asamad guessed. "Not because you would say no, we all know you wouldn't, but because it would be enough for them to spend Christmas with you."

The warlock arched an eyebrow.

"I've never thought of it that way. Perhaps, we'll find out if that's true later. For right now, we should be on our way to capture Demondo."

He put his crystal ball in his cape, and they both made their way out of the room, joining the others outside.

The gang had been walking for a few minutes now, and Asamad stopped in his tracks as he saw a familiar face appear next to him.

"Covington? You're not supposed to be here. You must leave at once."

"Well, hello to you too, Asamad. I just came here to see if your friends have figured out that you're still evil at heart yet. It seems that they have not," the ghost said.

"It amazes me how you say that I'm evil at heart, and yet, you're the one who attempted to remove my wife Ophelia from all of existence not too long ago," he recalled.

"How I would have succeeded in doing so had you not found a way to break my spell!" Covington fumed. He gave him a confused look now. "Honestly, I still don't know how you did it."

"I did some research after it happened, and I found out why. It was because she chose to be with me over you, and because of the love and the connection we share. That was strong enough to break your spell," Asamad explained. "You made a terrible mistake going after her!"

The blue-eyed spirit just rolled his eyes at that.

"Whatever. All that means is that you two are equally pathetic! Which explains why Ophelia married you in the first place. Anyways, I have to tell you one last thing before I go," he told him.

"Oh, really? And just what is that?"

"Do not ever tell your friends about me before I reveal myself to them, or I will harm each and every one of them greatly," he swore.

Asamad gasped, then his eyes turned dark red in complete anger, with a raging fire surrounding him.

"You shall not dare to do that!" he raged.

"Oh yes I would. If you tell them about me. They're not supposed to know who I am until I reveal myself."

"Fine. When will you 'reveal yourself' to them?" the red ghost questioned.

"That will remain unknown to you. However, expect it at any time," the spirit replied. "Merry Christmas to you and those so-called 'friends' of yours."

Covington then teleported away, then Asamad's eyes turned back to their usual yellow color and the fire around him disappeared right before the gang called out his name.

"Are you still coming with us?" Cheryl asked.

"Yes, I am," he told her.

He caught up with them now.

"I don't know why you suddenly stopped," Jayden commented.

"Reah, rhat was ra little weird," Scooby agreed.

"Are you feeling okay?"

"Oh, yes I'm alright. I was just thinking about something," Asamad lied. "Sorry about that."

"No worries, it's fine," Daphne said.

They all continued to walk together, searching for Demondo and all of the souls that he has turned into demons.
