Hello, everyone. Your girl's back to update another chapter for you all. So sorry for the long wait, I've been busy with fixing the chapters of my stories now that I got Grammarly. Izuku has now entered his new class with his new classmates and homeroom teacher with the hope they might like him despite him being Quirkless. I don't own the canon characters as they rightfully belong to their owners while I only own my OC characters.
Izuku listens as Power Loader began to explain how Support Agents were needed in the third generation of Quirks. They began to use their inventions to aid the Pro Heroes when many of the heroes showed signs of either being harmed by their own Quirks or being limited by their powers. The Support Agents were soon needed to create supplies for the Pros from serious harm from their own Quirks.
"The first Hero Agency was built in America in the city of New York. The first Support Agent was a man named Toney Johnson whose younger brother was a third-generation Pro Hero. However, unlike his younger brother, Johnson was said to have no power whatsoever. So he went to create support items to protect his brother from being possibly killed in the field," Power Loader explains to the new students, showing them a slid show on the first Support Agent.
Izuku was amazed to hear how the Support Agents came to be. It was because the first Agent did simply out of love and concern for his little brother as a way to keep him from getting killed during fights with villains. To find out that the many generations of Support Agents only were created because of family love. To which the tiny boy began to mutter to himself, with his classmates not being bothered by this.
Suddenly the bell rang, which meant lunch was ready.
"Okay, kiddos. Go and enjoy your lunch break in the cafeteria. The food here is great," Power Loader said as the students got up to get their lunch.
Izuku watch as his new classmates all left the classroom while he waited to be the last one to leave. He was nervous about being social with them since they now know his lack of Quirk unlike them. Although none of them had actually shown that much interest in him being Quirkless, the green-haired boy still was afraid of them rejecting him for different from them.
"Oh, Midoriya, you could stay here for a little bit?" Power Loader asks the tiny boy.
"Ye... yes, sir!" Izuku nervously said to his new homeroom teacher.
So many questions began to appear in Izuku's head on what his teacher wanted with him. Maybe the man wanted to tell him that he should quit while he still can before things become too much for a Quirkless person like him? Or that Power Loader was going to tell him that he needed to work on his muttering because he was disturbing the whole class during the lesson?
"Kid, I saw your notebook on the Pros' Quirks. It looks great! You must have been working on it for a while now, correct?" Power Loader asks while admiring his new student's talent.
Hearing that his teacher compliment him on his analyze notebook, Izuku blushes at such a compliment from an actual Pro Hero. The only ones who ever said that his analysis notebooks were amazing are Tomura and Kurogiri. He's also planning to show his notebooks to Sensei and Shuichi later this week. So hearing this from his new teacher made his heart feel like it was being hugged by the compliment.
"Tha... thank you for the compliment, Sensei. You didn't have to do such a thing," Izuku said while be was starting to become a strutting mess.
"Why not? You already show me how good you are at Quirk Analyze, kid. You should get going now. I don't want to miss out on lunch," Power Loader said to his young student.
Izuku nodded and exited the classroom to eat at last. The green-haired boy still couldn't believe what he just heard from the Pro Hero. He felt a cloud had been lifted and the sun shined on him.
"I'm going to have a good today. I'm going to have a good today," Izuku said to himself while he kept repeating the words again and again.
While Izuku was walking to where the cafeteria is at, Number 16 follow him since he left the classroom. The little robot saw the human boy walking to where the other humans would get their fuel. The green-haired human looks sad for some reason. The small boy would usually appear with a smile on his face, but now he was frowning. Did something happen that would have caused the tiny boy to be sad? He did repeat some words of him having a good today.
Number 16 quietly follow the boy while making sure it was unnoticed by him and the other students. Power Loader wouldn't like it if he finds out one of his robots has been following one of the students around instead of being at the studio and helping the other students. But Number 16 wanted to see the human boy who gives it a fuzzy feeling when they were together.
School cafeteria
Izuku gasp in amazement as he looks around the cafeteria of U.A. High. This place is quite beautiful. However, Izuku had to be careful since Kacchan doubting appears and will scream at the top of his lungs once the blonde boy sees him.
Thank God that Kurogiri made lunch for Izuku so the boy won't have to wait in line. However, Izuku did want to know what the food here tasted like here. But he'll still eat the lunch Kurogiri prepared for him.
"Midoriya-san! Over here, Midoriya-san!" Mei called out to him to where she was.
Izuku blushes from Mei calling out to him. A girl was calling out to him. A girl was talking to him!
"A girl is calling me!" Izuku thought as he could feel his face turning red from embarrassment.
Mei had waited for her partner to show up and eat with her. She was planning to discuss her new baby with him after school if he wanted to hang out later.
"Hatsume-san... Hi," He said as he shyly took his seat next to her.
Izuku had no idea what to say to the pink-haired girl. Sure he managed to talk during the last part of their entrance exam, but that was because he needed to get serious. But now there's no need to be serious since it was their lunch break. Mei had actually wanted to talk to him despite being Quirkless.
"So I have a great idea of this baby I just came up with. I was wondering if you wanted to help me with it after school," She said.
Izuku nearly screams in his head before he remembered that Mei likes to call her inventions her babies. The green-haired boy has to remind himself that when she means baby, she means her machines, not actual children. But still, a girl was asking him to hang out after school on the first day. He wonders if this is all a dream. Power Loader complimenting him and a girl asking him to hang out later. This was too good to be true. There's no way his life is now suddenly changing for the better. Izuku feared that he'll wake up to the harsh reality of people mocking him.
I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. I see that many of you have names for Number 16, so thank you all for the suggestions for his name. I'm thinking about having a few of Izuku's new classmates joining them since I want to flesh out their characters a little more. And don't worry, there won't be any shipping in this story.
