Note: This means the Grimm King and Queen were not revived at the end of Season 3, leaving Team YUKI and the world an air of reprieve. Also, the Vytal Festival was canceled earlier thus The Church of Salem could not make their attack. Adam and Cinder still dead, though.

"And we're back, we're decided to let Reese go first." Morty said excitedly as Ciel protested. "Sorry, Ciel, we make the rules."
"Morty, you're only letting her go first because that big-titted amazon is letting you get your sweaty hands on her." Rick said dryly as Morty buried his face into Ivory's bosom. "Ugh."
"I'm so excited to go on this with you!" Reese said as Yuki cracked a smile.
"So am I, but…I thought I got first pick. I wanted to pick Jeanne." Yuki said much to everyone's surprise. "I know…but for some reason, everyone wants a piece of Arc. My best friend, who's the iciest woman I know melted to him, I want to see what's so appealing!"
Back at Beacon, Jaune buried his face in his palms wanting to just vanish while Ren offered sympathy. Jeanne looked absolutely panicked to be picked to go first.
"You asked for it." Rick said activating the portal to the dating zone.
A slime green portal formed as he and Jeanne walked through with Ciel glaring at them the whole time.
Entering Dating Zone
Yuki immediately wanted to strangle someone, not Jeanne at the moment. No, it was where they were sent to. His hometown was probably the least romantic place he could think of.
"Yuki, this place is…uh…really barren. Where are we?" Jeanne asked. "Smells like death."
"It's my hometown, Crossroad Village." Yuki said tersely as Jeanne backpedaled her words. "And you're near the graves."
Yuki walked her down the path to his humble little village which was empty of people other than them and had a cold wind blowing through the air.
"So…Yuki, how did this all happen?" Jeanne asked.
"The White Fang came and stomped out our happiness all in the name of revolution. I lost my parents because of the cycle of hatred. Faunus and humans can simply get along because of pettiness." Yuki said wryly. "But hey…killed the bastards who offed my folks. Carrying his sword as a trophy."
Jeanne was a bit disturbed, but she had to admit that it was cool that he could do that. She was let in into Yuki's place which was kept maintained and cleaned.
"I'll be cooking for us." Yuki said politely going to the fridge. "Care to help with the spaghetti and meatballs?"
The two began working on making a meal with Jeanne chopping the vegetables as Yuki were working on the pasta and meatballs.
"It must be of been hard growing up all on your own." Jeanne said trying to make conversation.
"It was, but you either sink or swim. That's just how it is, I just managed to drag myself out doing what I had to. I made meaningful connections and I simply dragged myself off. Sure, the road is stained with blood of others, but I made it." Yuki mused as Jeanne poured in the cut vegetables into the pot. "When you have to work hard to get forward, you tend to have the air of no-nonsense."
The two let the pot cook as they were outside getting some air.
"So, when I signed up, the host said you were known as the "Semblance Scientist"?" Jeanne asked as Yuki raised an eyebrow.
"Well, that's because of the nature of my semblance. It allows me to copy other people's semblances and identifies them with a mere scan of the eyes." Yuki explained. "Given I was practically leave all on my own with plenty time on your hands, I went all out to study and master semblances to where I can make a mockery of others for their poor using of it."
For those watching at Beacon who did not exactly know the details for Yuki's semblance, this was intriguing raising questions. The idea of having possibly an arsenal of semblances raised so many variables. Of course, there was the revelation among the few who put more thought into it that Yuki had the potential to be…well a one-man swiss army knife.
"So, could you tell a person what their semblance is if they don't figure it out?" Jeanne asked nervously.
"It's Aura Amplification." Yuki said. "And your semblance has been on the entire time since your aura was awoken. Your only issue is you have no aura control or any who know on how to mold it. Your semblance is personally one of the most broken I've seen…because everyone has to learn aura control at the bare minimum to become hunters of Grimm. You can essentially have infinite aura to draw from."
Jeanne looked like she was smacked in the face with a brick. All her struggling, all her fretting, and it was all practically for nothing considering it was on the whole time.
Jaune felt the same way, knowing how humiliating it was to realize, that the semblance he had seek was right under him.
Before Jeanne could say anything, Yuki turned around toward the house citing the food was done. The two enjoyed a simple meal as Yuki poured pasta sauce on his.
"So, tell me about your team?" Jeanne asked as Yuki raised an eyebrow. "I assume you're familiar with mine."
"Well Kelly likes studying zoology and faunus biology, Ivory's a sweetheart with a heart of gold, and Lapis is dating your male counterpart." Yuki said casually as Jeanne nearly choked on her spaghetti. "Yeah, pretty jarring to hear."
"Going on a limb and say she's too good for him." Jeanne said wiping her mouth.
"It's complicated. Team YUKI is a team of cynics and nearing the border of nihilism at times. We all got our issues, and Jaune happened to be a source of comfort for Lapis. He was warm and his optimism was like a supercharger. Like you, a source of hope and anti-nihilism, even if a bit misguided, can go a long way." Yuki said as his hand was on top of her as he looked into her eyes. "I can see a bit of the appeal."
Jeanne was a blushing mess as Lapis could only roll her eyes at how Yuki was playing the charm. With their meal done, Yuki and Jeanne were outside again up on the roof of his family home.
"So, if I can ask…you signed up for this…why did you?" Yuki asked.
"I was in a bit of funk, and Nord signed up for this show. For what's it worth, I'm glad to have meet." Jeanne said content.
Yuki and Jeanne were returned to the studio as the audience cheered for them. Jeanne was being readied to return to her universe through another portal.
"Hey, if I get to come back, let's go someplace a bit more romantic." Jeanne said hugging Yuki. "See ya later!"
Jeanne dived through the portal as Rick asked Morty for the resulted.
"Aaaannnddd…the plausibility ratio says…" Morty announced catching Yuki's attention from the now sealed doorway portal.
He looked up to see a large circular hologram display just above the main game board screen. The percentage ratio was double digits and would determine if he was successful enough on that date to merit a future with Jeanne Arc.
"80% plausibility on the first go. Then again, it's the Arc. They're like the generic brand beer…nothing special, but tolerable." Rick announced and pressed a button on his own podium creating a sound effect of an audience crowd clapping and cheering.
"Ouch, that's harsh." Reese remarked.
"Regardless, let's ready ourselves for our next date! Yuki's taking out Reese!" Morty said as Lapis rolled her eyes.
"He's not cheap beer!" Lapis thought as Pyrrha had the same thoughts.
