The gang still hadn't found any sign of Demondo or his demons as they walked together through an empty plane of snow.

Vincent had been thinking of asking the others what they would want from him for Christmas. But, he pushed the thought away, deciding that he would ask them later as there was something else that they had to deal with right now.

"So, are we getting any closer to Demondo?" Shaggy asked.

"He should be around here somewhere," Vincent replied.

They waited for another moment, and suddenly, everyone felt an evil presence all around them.

"Something is wrong here, like very wrong…" Jayden gulped.

Before anyone said anything else, they started to see dark eyes and shadows surrounding them.

"What is happening right now!?" Cheryl quavered.

Daphne immediately looked away, but then decided to take another glance at them before realizing what they were.

"Those must be the dead people that Demondo turned into demons!" she exclaimed.

"Remons!?" Scooby repeated.

"Whatever you do, do not run. Stay close together," Asamad told everyone.

The eyes and the dark shadows creeped up closer to the gang, and they all backed up until they were back to back.

"Nevermind, I think we are going to have to fight them to get out of this," the red ghost said, changing his mind.

"Are you sure we have to?" Shaggy asked.

"Well, it's either that, or they'll attack us first," Cheryl told him. "Also, we don't have a lot of time to choose between the two either."

"Then we're going to fight them," Flim Flam decided. "Now, let's go!"

Everyone immediately ran and started to fight. Vincent, Velma, Flim Flam, and Asamad fought the creatures that only appeared as dark eyes. While the rest of the gang fought the shadowy creatures.

Vincent blasted his magic at the demons he was battling, but then the demons knocked him back and he fell to the ground.

He then saw hands and arms come from the demon's eyes. He attempted to stand up, but those hands were pinning him down.

"Join us," he had heard the demons whisper to him.

He looked straight into their eyes.

"Never!" he yelled.

Vincent then hit all of them with a huge blast of magic, which destroyed them instantly. He then stood up and began fighting another set of demons.

Meanwhile, Daphne battled one of the shadowy demons. She was succeeding so far, until she felt a hand from one of the creatures grab her shoulder.

It had a tight grip, and it pulled her up. She tried to remove the hand, but its grip was too strong.

"Let me go!" she ordered.

"You shall not be freed until you join us," the demon told her.

The shadowy spirit tried putting its other hand onto her shoulder, but Daphne grabbed its hand in time and pushed it. The spirit then fell back, and her feet landed on the snow.

She was finally freed from its grip.

The spirit then tried to fight back, but she was too quick for it. After she battled the demon a few more times, it was completely destroyed.

"I can't join you if I already defeated you," she said with a wink.

She and everyone else continued to fight the demons, and eventually, they were all defeated.

"Man, if those were only his minions, I'd hate to see how Demondo himself is nowadays," Shaggy commented.

"At least we've conquered his minions for now. By the way, did anyone else hear them whisper the words 'join us?'" Vincent asked. "When I was battling a few of them, they said those words to me."

"One of them said those words to me too!" Daphne exclaimed. "I wonder what that was all about."

"I'd assume that they are planning something, and Demondo is definitely behind it. I don't know what it is exactly, but we'll probably find out once we face him," Asamad told her.

Daphne's phone then beeped, and she took it out of her purse, noticing that she received a text from someone.

"Fred just sent me a text. He wants to know if he can come over earlier to celebrate with us since he was able to go on break just now and doesn't have anywhere else to be."

"Really!? Ri can't wait to see rhim ragain!" Scooby cheered.

"Wait, how much earlier?" Flim Flam questioned.

"Tomorrow," she responded.

"I don't know if he can come over tomorrow…" Velma admitted.

"Yeah, I'm not so sure either. Sometimes, it takes us more than a day to defeat these ghosts," Shaggy stated.

"Maybe we could just try to trap Demondo in the chest quickly before tomorrow arrives?" Jayden suggested.

"Well, it's not impossible. I guess we can do it," Daphne told him. "We still have less than 12 hours until tomorrow's sunrise, so we can't waste too much time. I'll tell Fred that he can come over tomorrow."

She replied back to the text and then put her phone back in her purse, and everyone continued to travel through the snow together.

Minutes later, the gang stumbled upon a small hill with a large deep, dark hole on top of it.

"I wonder why this hole is here," Cheryl said.

"Me too," Velma began. "We'll have to look inside of it, but I need someone to hand me over a flashlight first since it's way too dark."

"I've got one," Flim Flam stated.

He handed her his flashlight, and she took it, then started to look inside.

She didn't find anything until the flashlight caught a shadow. She didn't recognize whose it was at first, but as she looked closer, she began to figure out who it was.

"Demondo is down there."

"Are you sure it's him?" Shaggy asked.

"Yes, I didn't exactly see his face but I did see his shadow," Velma responded.

"So, are we going to jump down there one by one?" Jayden questioned.

"Well if we are, then I guess I'll go first," Asamad told him.

He jumped down into the hole, with Vincent jumping down after him. Then, everyone else continued to jump down one by one, until they were all in there, finally coming face to face with Demondo.
