Several hours later, as the darkness of the night went on, the gang had stumbled upon a large temple surrounded by snow. With two golden demon heads on both of the doors.
"Okay, right now we have about 5 minutes left until sunrise," Daphne announced, checking her phone.
"Hey, isn't this the temple where Scoob and I opened the Chest Of Demons a few years ago?" Shaggy asked.
"It is," Flim Flam confirmed. "Looks like it hasn't changed much ever since."
"You think we'll find Demondo or any of his demons in here?" Cheryl questioned.
"Most likely yes," Vincent said.
He walked up the steps and opened the doors, letting everyone inside first before he went in last.
The temple was still as dark and creepy as they'd remembered it. The ground was wet, and the place was slightly echoey.
"Keep a close eye out for Demondo and his demons," Velma told everyone.
The rest of the gang searched around while Asamad and Vincent started talking to each other.
"I don't think you have to ask them what they want for Christmas anymore. I know Daphne said she didn't want anything from you, but I believe you can still get her and the rest of the gang just one gift," Asamad stated.
"Really?"
"Of course. You know how you have an interest in poetry? Why don't you write a poem about them? One that comes from the heart and shows how grateful you are for them."
Vincent thought about it for a moment.
"That's a good idea for a gift. I'll do that, yet, I hope that it will be good enough for all of them," he sighed.
"Don't worry, Vincent. It will be good enough, just trust me," Asamad smiled.
After Vincent smiled back, everyone went silent for a few moments as they saw eyes come from the darkness and surround them.
"Okay, they're here," Daphne nodded.
Demondo then came out of the darkness and stared at everyone.
"It seems that it didn't take very long for you to find me again," he commented. "Why don't you say hello to the rest of my demonic army?"
Velma immediately brought out the Chest Of Demons, and he noticed this.
"Trying to trap me back in there won't be so easy," he told her. "In fact, it'll be impossible now. You may have defeated me last time, but this time, I will win."
He raised his arms, and his demons started to crawl closer and closer to the gang as they came out of the shadows.
"You can either join us in haunting the world and getting rid of Christmas forever, or you can lose to us and be utterly destroyed!" the green demon declared.
"We will never join you or those souls that you have turned into demons!" Jayden swore.
The others shouted in agreement.
"Fine, you have made your choice then. Be utterly destroyed!"
"Ruh-roh," Scooby gulped.
He snapped his fingers, making his demons disappear back into the shadows, and then immediately attempted to attack the gang.
Before he could harm anyone, however, Vincent and Asamad fought back, blasting their magic at Demondo, and Vincent held up his own cape to protect the others.
Demondo then started to rise up into the air, with a blast of powerful magic in each hand, and threw them at both Asamad and Vincent.
The others gasped as the magical blasts hit them and they fell down for a moment.
"Are rou guys rokay?" Scooby asked in concern.
"We're fine," Asamad responded, as he got back on his feet.
Vincent stood back up and they both rose up into the air, continuing to fight Demondo.
Demondo was knocked back and hit the wall of the temple as Vincent threw a fireball at him.
As he hit the wall, it broke, leaving a hole in it, and he quickly went through it, making his way outside.
"We can't let him get away!" Daphne exclaimed, as everyone chased after the ghost.
After they all went outside, the fight between Vincent, Asamad, and Demondo continued.
Asamad casted a spell to gather the snow around him, and trapped the green ghost within it.
The other ghost, however, tried to use his powers to break the snow and set himself free, while Vincent helped Asamad keep him trapped there with his magic.
"Velma, get the chest ready before he breaks free," Vincent said.
"On it," she replied, bringing out the box again.
A few seconds went by, and Demondo eventually broke the snow, setting himself free.
"You cannot stop me!" he declared with an evil smile.
Then, his evil smile suddenly faded as Velma opened up the chest, and he felt himself being pulled into it.
"NO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" he screamed.
"We told you we wouldn't join you," Shaggy smiled.
Demondo then screamed one last time as he was completely pulled into the chest, and the lid shut.
"Nice work, Velma!" Flim Flam complimented.
"Thank you," she said.
"You're welcome."
Everybody watched as the sun had begun to rise now.
"Well, since we finally defeated another ghost, I'd say it's time for us to go home and see an old friend," Daphne announced.
Everyone went back to Castle Van Ghoul together, and saw Fred waiting right outside, holding his luggage and all of his presents that he got for his friends.
"Hey guys," he greeted.
"Freddie!" Shaggy, Daphne, Velma, and Scooby all exclaimed, running up to give him a hug.
"How are you?" Shaggy asked.
"I'm great. I've missed you all though," Fred replied. "It's been 6 months since the last time I was with you."
"We missed you too," Velma told him.
They let go of the hug, and Fred looked at the others, who were standing behind them.
"It's nice to see the five of you again."
"Yes, and we're glad to have you come over to spend Christmas with us," Asamad said.
"Welcome back to our castle," Vincent smiled.
Fred thanked them and smiled back.
"Oh, so earlier we were in the middle of decorating our study room for Christmas, but then we had to hunt down and capture another ghost from the chest, so we didn't really get to finish. Do you maybe want to help us finish decorating while you're here?" Jayden offered.
"Sure, I'd love to!" Fred responded, smiling again.
"That's great. Also, Vincent and Asamad are going to help you with your luggage and the presents you brought," Cheryl stated.
Everyone then went inside, catching up with each other and continuing to decorate.
