Sakura looked up at the blonde, she still had an irritated look cast upon her face. She also apologized but it wasn't as genuine as his. They sat at the table in complete silence. Sakura turned her attention towards the living room, she saw a figure standing there in the living room.
"Sasuke?" She crept towards the doors watching the dark figure move towards the door.
Sakura screamed, "Naruto!"
The rosette witnessed a figure run across their living room. Naruto turned in the direction, also feeling the presence of someone there. Sakura quickly made her way to the blonde's side. He pulled a kunai from the kitchen drawer slowly walking to the living room. "Did you see that Naruto?"
"Yeah." Naruto crept into the small area feeling a weird aura. He kept his guard up while Sakura ran to cut on the lights revealing nothing to their surprise.
She ran back to her boyfriend's side too scared to walk away. "I swear I saw a shadow or something."
Naruto had a scowl on his face. He punched the wall leaving a hole and debrief on the ground. "It probably already got away…Pack your stuff we're not staying here tonight."
Sakura didn't dare to disagree, she knew Naruto was on the edge since the party. She regretted spazzing on him once they walked into the house and not asking if he was okay.
Sakura walked into the room watching him aggressively pack clothes into a bag. She walked into the bathroom grabbing their toothbrushes and her prenatal pills. He stood at the bathroom door eagerly waiting for her to get done. "Where are we going."
"I don't want to disturb your parents but I know Iruka wouldn't mind." He never once made eye contact with Sakura. Naruto stood at the door swaying back and forth being all jittery.
"Okay." That's all she said, that was all she really needed to say. They locked the apartment door still feeling the presence of something or someone being there. Naruto led the way to Iruka's home, he stayed near the academy since he was the new and improved principal. From Sakura's apartment to his wasn't a long walk only like a block away. Sakura noticed his lights were still on and there was smoke coming from the top of the house. Sakura stuck her nose in the air smelling the food. Naruto then knocked on the door waiting for his father figure to open the door.
"Naruto, Sakura what are you two doing here at this hour?" When Iruka answered the door he was quite happy and surprised. It was going on 11:00 at night and they were standing at his door with bags in their hands.
Naruto nudged Sakura into the house, placing the bags into Iruka's hand. "Sakura-chan needs to stay here tonight, it's not safe at hers."
Naruto turned to leave without any further explanation until Sakura's voice stopped him. "Naruto where are you going? Do you not realize how late it is?"
"Sakura-chan I just need time to myself right now, I'm a literal ticking time bomb right now." Sakura could tell from his features that he was off balance. His cerulean blue eyes were a bit darker which once was as bright as the sun. His whiskers were emerging on his cheeks and his canines were getting sharper by the minute.
Sakura walked down to the front lawn placing her hand on his cheek "Just stay I know how to make it better."
"No, I can't Sakura-chan," Naruto mumbled.
"Naruto just come into the house, maybe we can talk...yeah?" Iruka intervened, he knew if he didn't step in now things could turn out bad. If anyone knew Naruto it would be Iruka, he always knew the right things to say to the blonde at the right moment.
"I have to talk to him. Kurama needs to calm down, he wants to stick his claws into someone. I'm scared I might hurt you guys." Naruto's eyes shot to Sakura's stomach. His intense glare made her feel uncomfortable, he didn't take his eyes off of her no matter how far away she backed up.
"Naruto, are you okay?" she asked sincerely.
"He'll be fine," Iruka said warmly, "You go into the house and fix you something to eat. I'll talk to him." Sakura nodded her head, she looked back at Naruto, he started to stare at his feet. Iruka gently placed his fingers underneath Naruto's chin, lifting it. He stared at the blonde smiling softly. "What's wrong Naruto?"
Naruto hugged him as his life depended on it. He placed his head on his shoulder enjoying the warm embrace he was in. "You can tell me when you're ready Naruto." He patted his back patiently waiting for Naruto to speak up. They sat like that for 5 minutes. Iruka noticed while doing so that Naruto's breathing got back on track. He seemed to be more relaxed than when he first arrived.
Naruto took a step back, he sighed then began to run his fingers through his hair. "I don't know what I'm going to do, In six months I'm going to bring a child into this world without having any knowledge of how to raise it. I don't even have a house to raise it in. Kurama has been on edge since we both found out, it has been harder and harder to keep him contained. Tonight I nearly let him take over and now he is beyond pissed that I WON'T." Naruto screamed the last words, he started to breathe hard once again. He looked back up at his father figure only to see the same smile on his face.
"Congratulations Naruto."
"That's all you have to say is fucking congratulations." Naruto spat with anger.
"You're not yourself right now, you need to take some time to yourself go and meditate or throw some punches at the training grounds." Iruka then got serious. "I refuse to have your negative energy around my grandchild. You want to be a man so bad but you're being a child as of right now Naruto. Go get your priorities straight with yourself then come back. It seems to me that Sakura has to worry about two kids"
Naruto was taken aback by his words. They were brutal but it was the truth, he really needed a reality check. He was putting so much stress not only on Sakura but others around him. "Thank Iruka Sensei, I'll be back in the morning, keep a close eye on Sakura-chan for me."
Iruka smiled, "Will do." he watched as the blonde ran towards the streets. "Naruto!"
"Yeah?"
"I love you!"
Naruto turned back around and slightly smiled, "I love you too."
