Note: This means the Grimm King and Queen were not revived at the end of Season 3, leaving Team YUKI and the world an air of reprieve. Also, the Vytal Festival was canceled earlier thus The Church of Salem could not make their attack. Adam and Cinder still dead, though.

Summertime Sweetness

Yuki found himself off to dating zone with Summer Rose, who had changed into her huntress wear. As they were sitting at her home in Patch, Summer was getting a read on him.

"So, you're the man teaching my daughter personally?" Summer said putting a plate of cookies on the table. "How's that going?"

"Ruby? She's not really an issue, she's just got an idealized view of things." Yuki said eating one. "Not all too bad, it gets a bit annoying."

"Then you probably wouldn't stand your father in his youth. It's almost a shock you're his son, but you do have his good looks." Summer said with a thin smirk.

"Is mom giving him bedroom eyes?!" Ruby said horrified.

"By the brothers, she is." Yang said mortified.

"Already trying to seduce me, Summer?" Yuki sniped.

"Kid, the life of a hunter is rough, and I rather not beat around the bush. I actually have a pretty good feel for your personality. You learn to read people." Summer said observantly. "I'll have to do that to test your skills."

Yuki looked over at her.

"What? You didn't think this was going to be easy. If you're going to get far with me, you've going to have quite the slayer of Grimm." Summer said going outside. "I'll be waiting."

Yuki ate a few more cookies and followed her outside. The two walked in silence letting nature speak of the tone. Summer led him to a rather large Grimm Nest. Rick blared as the announcer along with a storm howling in the wind pouring rain and wind upon the land. The sleeping Grimm shot up turning towards Summer and Yuki.

"Let's start this SILVER SHOWDOWN!"

Summer produced Thornbush, a broadsword that with a flick of it turned to spiked whip of pain and misery for its victims. Yuki unsheathed Wilt and Frostbite twirling them.

"Well, aren't you a kinky one?" Yuki said rushing in to slice through a pair of Nevermores.

"Don't have your mind in the gutter, dear." Summer teased coiling her whip around the throat of a Beowolf.

She pulled and swing the poor creature around before hurling into a few more Grimm. As the two advanced, they both got into the groove of slaughtering the beasts of darkness left and right. Swapping to his pistols, he opened fire a barrage of rapid-fire bullets to mow more of them down before hearing the roar of an Alpha Nevermore. They looked up to see one coming down towards them. His eyes both went silver taking aim.

"Burn." He said.

The alpha would scream it broke out in silver flames as Summer caught by its wing charging a sphere of aura in her hand. Using 'wings' of light, Yuki flew over charging his own auric attack from behind before both him and Summer unleashed their attacks to vaporize the Grimm into ash.

[Music Ends]

Yuki's eyes returned to normal and put his weapons back in their holsters as Summer returned Thornbush in its place.

"Now bad, kiddo. You got guts." Summer said warmly. "Just like your old man."

"Yeah, thanks. Now about me getting far…" Yuki said as Summer trialed her finger on his chest.

"Oh, tempting. But save that for the next date." Summer said with a wink.

"You tease." Yuki thought.

Ivory and a few others were thinking the same thing as both him and Summer were returned to the studio.

Summer had waved goodbye leaving through the portal as Rick pointed to be the goth Penny being the last date of the round.

"I'm so excited to go out with you." Penny said taking up his arm.

As they left for the dating zone, Rick turned to audience.

"Sorry folks, we're going on a commercial break, but stay tuned for more on Dates with Destiny!" Rick said before belching again.
