With Penny being the last of the first round, Yuki did not know what to expect. The dating zone had simply placed them in what Penny called her hometown. A quiet and mundane suburb that Yuki felt so out of place in. Her idea of a date was to bring him to an underground coffee shop of her fellow goths for poetry reading.

"So, this is your date? Not bad."

"Yeah, isn't he a dream, Debbie?" Penny remarked to the rather rotund goth girl.

"Thanks, Penny." Yuki said sheepishly as the speaker finished his poem.

"Man, these emos are whining about their posh lifestyles…" Yang said shaking her head. "Oh my gosh, I think that one in the one speaking was Blake!"

Blake facepalmed as the other laughed at her other's expense.

Blake came down from the stage rather annoyed those two were talking and cleared her throat.

"I couldn't focus on speaking about my angst with you talking." Blake said with a pout.

"Angst? You live in a well to-do neighborhood…and I'm pretty sure you were whining about 'woe is me'." Yuki said with icy sarcasm.

"And you can do better?!" Blake said as Yuki sauntered up to the stage.

Yuki cleared his throat as Serena played a forlorn melody leaving Yuki to fill the words.

Sweet child of mine, what happened to you?

You used to smile, you have your innocence.

I guess I couldn't just smile with the bloodstains.

Tainted what once was a sweet child.

Could I even call myself a child back then?

I had seen death, degradation, and despair.

I could not say it did not make me stronger.

But I'd much rather have my parents back…but the world's never been all the kind.

"Thank you." Yuki said walking off the stage.

Blake looked flabbergasted and there was pretty of clapping for Yuki.

"That are pure unadulterated pain in those words." One of the goths said getting up. "I could feel how it scorched your soul. Please, allow me to buy you a drink."

The audience, while surprised, felt they saw a brief dive into the inner turmoil Yuki had for a brief moment. For Yuki's teammates, this was just him making his venting sound poetic.

While Yuki accepted the drink, he was able to get Penny to take him out of there to go elsewhere. He and her were simply having ice cream at the park under the night sky.

"You know Penny, you had me with the goth thing, but you'll pretty same but in my neck of the woods. Just less awkward." Yuki said as he finished off his cone. "I am glad you took this date on the nose."

"Well, I wanted to try something new…" Penny said before sitting on Yuki's lap. "Something fresh…"

"What fresh hell is this?!" Ciel said sputtering as Enrico looked at this with intrigue.

Penny feverishly was writing notes about her other and how relationships worked. Ironwood really did not want to watch any more but was glued to the television. The military leader found it addicting…and a way to get information on the secretive Yuki.

"So bold on the first date, that's unlike you." Yuki said keeping the air of stoniness up.

"I prepared for this date thanks a few good magazine articles." Penny said wrapping her arms around him. "Is this satisfactory?"

"Yes, but…how exactly are you a goth?" Yuki asked puzzled.

"I like the fashion…it brings out my skin." Penny said sweetly.

"That it does…" Yuki said nuzzling her. "You know, Penny, I can enjoy just being close to you for hours."

"You know, the night's still young. Plenty to do…" Penny cooed.

"I think Penny's thirsty…for him." Ivory sputtered.

"Save it for the next date, Penny." Yuki said taking her up putting her on her feet as he got up.

"You tease." Penny said with a pout.

The pair were returned to the stage as the score was given up on the screen.

Penny had waved goodbye before returning home through the portal as the crowd cheered.

"And here ends the first round, we wound up with plenty of requests for who people want to see." Rick said tossing the suggestion box. "But our next round is going to be a bit of a mixed bag from various other worlds."

"Bring it. There's going to be a theme?" Yuki asked.

"Morty, do we have a theme?" Rick asked.

Morty scrambled through the note cards before taking few up.

"Ok, it's either Call of the Kunochi, A Wee Bit Furry, Blondes be Bombs, or Everything's Better With Princesses. Let's leave to the audience, so make your choice and we'll be seeing you next time!" Morty said working the crowd.
