A/N I couldn't help myself from posting this, this is half of what it is supposed to be. I promise chapter 18 will be longer :)

Sakura P.O.V

It's been two days since I found out about our baby. At first, I was heartbroken about the situation but now I have grown on the fact that my baby had a large amount of chakra. I spent most of my time on bed rest since the chakra supplements I was given were very strong. One minute I was full of energy and the next I would be on the verge of passing out. At first, I was eating supplements once a day but now I am eating three of them a day. Thanks to Konohamaru I didn't have to move around as much. He had been by my side through all of this. He would bring me food, water, medicine, and even my chakra pills.

"Would you like anything else Sakura-san?" Konohamaru asked, he was refilling my glass of water. We were both in the kitchen. Konohamaru had just come back from taking Kato to visit his mother.

"I'm fine, I just want my son to stop using my rib cage as a kicking pole."

When I began to take supplements the baby had a boost of energy. I rarely got sleep because he would often flip or kick me in the middle of the night. He also stayed hungry, I have found myself eating five times a day...and some of my meals are larger than me.

A laugh escaped his lips, "Father like son huh? I bet he never runs out of energy."

"He's like a 24-hour convenient store." We both laughed.

He then leaned over the counter grabbing a piece of meat from the cutting board. I quickly slapped his hand away from grabbing more. "This is for Kato, not for you."

"You shouldn't be standing anyway, let me fix it." He hit his hip against mine making me move over to the side a little. I threw a towel on the top of his head before leaving the kitchen.

"Okay, I'll be in the living room with Kato." I walked out into the living room to see Kato playing outside. He was running around the yard trying to catch butterflies. Kato had the biggest grin on his face. He loved to play alone. We would bring him to the park to play with other children but he never wanted to play with them. He said that they were nasty. I never questioned him about how the other kids were nasty, I just left the conversation alone.

"Hey, Kato, are you having fun."

"I'm having so much fun but I can't seem to catch the butterflies." He kept chasing after the insects. "Oh, Sakura-chan I have something to give you."

He quickly ran to me with an envelope in his hand. It was all dirty with his fingerprints and it was quite sticky as well. "Where did you get this from?"

"Umm, a strange man gave it to me. He told me to give it to you."

A chill instantly ran down my spine. I quickly pushed Kato into the house, closing and locking the door behind us. "Do you know who the man was?"

"No"

"How long has it been since he left?"

"Umm he gave me that letter once we came back from visiting kaa-chan...so it's been about 20 minutes I think."

"Was he wearing a headband like Naruto and Sasuke nii-chan?"

Kato sat in the middle of the floor with his hands on his chin. He sat there quietly humming to himself. "No...he just told me to give you that letter." He pointed to the letter that I was holding in my hands. "He also said that you were the only one to read it or else."

"Go in the kitchen and eat your lunch."

Once he ran off into the kitchen I quickly opened the letter to read it.

Sakura Haruno,

I told you and your friends to mind your own business and leave the boy alone. Instead of kidnapping him, I decided to make your lives a living hell. Why? First, you take our property back to your village and now you are taking more property back with you. You've exposed that boy to another world and now you have to pay. We tried to warn you not to take what's ours but you did it anyway. You can't seem to catch what we're saying so we decided to teach you a lesson. Now things are about to get ugly. You guys are getting in my way...Give us our property back and you and that monster of a child you're carrying won't get hurt. So it's either your life and family or Kato's life. I had to make myself clear and let you know that I'm not playing so go say hi to Akane for me.

P.S I think your eyes are really sexy. Maybe I'll save you for last.

I instantly felt sick, so I ran to the nearest bathroom to throw up. Who was a man and why is he targeting us all of a sudden. How did he know my name? How did he even know where I was living at the moment? So many thoughts were racing through my mind. I could barely think straight at the moment.

Akane

I quickly wiped my face before running out into the living room to slip on my shoes. "Konohamaru watch Kato for me. I have to go." I didn't wait for his reply, I was already out of the door running down the street. I had a bad feeling and I knew from the letter that things were not okay. I had to go make sure Akane was okay. She was my responsibility after all.

I had never run faster than I did. The baby started to go wild in my stomach, he was probably trying to tell me to calm down but I couldn't. I was too pumped up with adrenaline to stop what I was doing. I ran so fast I didn't acknowledge my coworker in front of the desk. I just kept running until I made it to Akane's floor. I was greeted by Anbu but I quickly pushed them aside.

"Yuna!" I screamed out, the young lab medic scrambled from the room she was in out the door to face me. "When was the last time you checked on Akane," I said breathlessly.

"I checked on her before Kato came and I haven't since. She said she didn't want to be bothered...Is there something wrong?"

"I hope not… has anything out of normal happened up here?"

Yuna walked over to me, placing her hand on my shoulder. She motioned for me to breathe in and out with her. "I need you to level out your breathing first."

"Right."

"Nothing out of the ordinary has happened but Lady Tsunade is going to be taking over from now on. Hokage-sama said the situation was probably getting too stressful for you."

"He isn't lying about that." I was all anxious and nervous. My anxiety was skyrocketing right along with my heartbeat. As much as I wanted to buy the time I couldn't, I needed to make sure everything was alright with Akane.

I walked slowly to her door-knocking twice. I waited a minute but there was no answer. I took a deep breath in and out before opening the door. My fear became a reality, a sob escaped my lips, there she was hanging in the middle of the room. Her throat and stomach had been cut completely open. Her guts were lying on the floor with a pool of blood surrounding her. A scarf that Kato had picked out for her hung around her neck as she was hanging from the ceiling.

Nausea quickly arose in my throat. I ran to the trash can to empty out my bile. "Get her down from there now!" I yelled out, my head was still in the trash can but I heard the Anbu walking in. Tears were running down my face, I was too ashamed to show my face to anyone. How could I let a patient die?

I felt a hand on my shoulders making me remove my head from the trash can. I soon realized that it was Lady Tsunade. She quickly embraced me and I fell apart in her arms. Sobs escaping my mouth.

"How am I supposed to tell him that his mother is dead? How is he going to live a life knowing that his mom is dead? She was the only one he had and I couldn't keep her safe!"

She hugged me even tighter, "Don't you dare blame yourself for what happened. We were all given a task to keep Akane and Kato safe."

I tried to talk but nothing would come out but cries. My throat began to burn and my chest was tightening. I knew my breathing was irregular, I needed to calm down but I couldn't bring myself to do it.

"I...need...to...calm...down." Each word came out as a hiccup, I instantly wrapped my arms around myself. I tried to imagine that it was his arms and not mine. I needed him more than anything right now.

My legs soon began to get weak. It was a sign that I needed to take another chakra supplement. 'Please not right now. I had instantly fallen to my knees. I only had a few minutes to spare before I would completely blackout from the lack of chakra. "I need a pill."

"Sakura-san please calm down. You look pale in the face." Yuna reached out for me but I slapped her hand away. I just needed a pill and I would be alright.

Tsunade walked over to me. I looked up to see her stern face staring down back at me. "Sakura, if you don't stand up now I'm going to put you in one of these hospital beds and you will be a patient here until you get better."

I will still on my hands and knees. I was completely drained, there was no energy left for me to fight what I was dealing with. Akane was dead, Kato no longer has a living mother, My son has to be fed chakra supplements in order to keep me alive and the worst one has yet to come. I still haven't told Naruto about the whole chakra supplements that I have been taking. I knew it would kill him.

"I think it would be best if you made me one of your patients."
