Round 2! Kunoichis be Crazy!
"And the votes are in with kunoichis winning out. So, Yuki will now have to deal with the women of shadows meant to seduce and take you down when your back is turned." Morty said as the crowd cheered.
Yuki was not on stage at the moment as he was backstage taking a needed sleep after some dinner. Of course, the show was going to go on to introduce the new dates. As for the Remnant back home, they all wanted to see who it was as this time…they were dealing with women from outside Remnant.
"All right, let's get this show on the road. We need them first anyway." Rick said keying some commands on the console.
The first door flashed a bright green with a turtle shell on the cover before it opened. She was relativity short compared to likes of Team YUKI being at five foot three. A Japanese/Chinese mix, she had amber eyes, black hair that was blonde in the back with an angled bob and long ear-tails, and a rather athletic body. She wears several black earrings, red eyeliner on the top of her eyelids, a form-fitting jumpsuit fitted with silver armor, black material worn under her armor, traditional Japanese shoes, and a purple belt with a design on it.
"Introducing Hamato Miwa, TMNT 2012's Karai!" Morty said as a few fans cheered.
Karai sighed but waved to the crowd before getting on the stage as the next door glowed with a symbol for a leaf as the door opened. The second one had sprung out and stood only an inch or two taller than Karai. She had gray eyes and dark brown hair in two Chinese-style buns on her head with short fringe-bangs framing her fair-skinned face. She wore a long-sleeved, high-collared white blouse with maroon edges, black fingerless gloves, low-heeled sandals and a black forehead protector. She also had on maroon, puffy hakama-styled pants with the exposed parts covered in bandages and carried a large scroll behind her back.
"I thought we were getting Tsunade. Who the fuck is this Plain Jane?" Rick said before drinking from his flask.
"That's Tenten from Naruto." Morty said as the crowd did not really cheer.
Well except for one guy.
"Wait, that scrub that got her ass handed to her by Tem…Seriously?! We couldn't get Anko, Kushina, or…fucking Konan?!" Rick snarled as Tenten just got on the stage.
"Something tells me you're not too popular." Karai said sympathetically.
"I only did this because most of my group are either in relationships, not close to anymore, or dead…" Tenten said defeatedly. "I needed to meet a guy, and those two were paying a lot. I needed rent money…"
"Ouch. It's basically compensated dating for you." Karai said shaking as the third door glowed pink.
'MORTAL KOMBAT!'
The door rose and out stepped an intimidating figure. She stood taller than both Karai and Tenten at five foot eight with raven hair, a slight tan to her skin, and orange feline-like eyes. Her magenta mask covered her lower face. Her outfit was a bit show-offish with a short, magenta-colored, cropped halter top, which stops and splits above her naval and has silver trimmings and has an opening in the middle, laced together with crossed strings. She also wears a matching thong of a similar design with a long flowing loincloth at the front, with embroidered designs on the center panel similar to the subtle designs on her mask. Her chiseled and buxom body got the crowd, and Ivory's, attention.
"Mileena from the Mortal Kombat universe!" Rick said as the crowd roared with applause.
Some even threw roses at her feet as Mileena made a stride for the stage taking a bow. Tenten can only pout at the lack of fanfare for herself. The last door lit up and opened up to another brunette just two inches shy of Mileena. She was a young woman with a slender, but fit build with gray eyes. Her olive-colored skin was the tip off to being of Vietnamese descendant. She wore a dark green colored kimono that had shreds and rips along it being tied around her waist with a black sash, where its length reaches just above her knees. She also wore black knee-high boots and sported her mask hanging off her side.
"Jade Nguyen, Young Justice's Cheshire, everyone!" Morty said as the crowd whooped and hollered for her as she took the stage.
"If this is the competition, I got this in the bag." Cheshire said as Karai scowled.
"Don't get cocky just yet!" Mileena snapped.

A flash of thunder got their attention as Yuki leapt down from the ceiling onto the ground. He had even changed up his outfit to fit the theme. A black, sleeveless, skin-tight jumpsuit with minor padding and icy blue straps toward the sides. He still wore his usual boots and fingerless gloves, but he also wore metal arm guards, had pockets on the pants, a forehead protector that sported his emblem, and a sleeker headset (that according to Morty, properly resembled a Scouter). Even his usual armor looked different slightly with the shoulder guards removed. His swords were to sides, his guns in their holsters, and he simply looked ready for a war.
"Hope I didn't keep you waiting long…" Yuki said crossing his arms. "I had to change the outfit…fit the theme."
"Well, I guess it fits for a black ninja, but maybe lessen the hair dye." Cheshire snarked.
"This is my natural color." Yuki stated as she blinked.
"I know a girl who has rose pink hair…trust me, I believe him." Tenten said in disbelief.
"Regardless, here are for our candidates for the next round. Normally, we let you pick first, but I want to ask them who wants to go first…and by that, I mean have Tenten go first." Rick said as Tenten glared at him.
"I have the feeling you don't like her all too much. Something wrong?" Yuki asked.
"Oh no, it's nothing too bad. She's just a bit…mundane compared to everyone else in her universe." Morty said trying not to be harsh about it. "YIPE!"
He ducked as a Fuma Shuriken nearly sliced off his head and embedded itself on the wall of the stands.
"I mean, she's a bit average, but that not always a bad thing." Yuki thought. "A universe of ninja sounds fun."
Morty, getting up, keyed in the coordinates for the dating zone as the portal opened. Tenten and Yuki walked into the portal leaving Morty to pull out the metal star out of the wall…or at least try to.

Woods. All he could see was woods from where she and he were placed, as Tenten explained her village was just up ahead.
"Well then, guess we'll fly." Yuki said using Lapis's semblance pull the water out of the ground.
"How did you-" Tenten said cut off by him molding the water into a fluffy cloud.
He got on top of the cloud as Tenten just looked gob smacked.
"What?" He asked innocently. "I figured a ninja world would see insane shit on a daily basis."
"I mean, you're not wrong…but you don't see people making clouds and riding them." Tenten said as she took Yuki's hand to get on the cloud.
"Hold on tight, then!" Yuki said as the cloud zipped into the sky.
"Did he just make a cloud to ride on?" Mileena said stumped.
"That's pretty wild. All he needs is a magic pole, and we can call him the Black Sun Wukong." Karai joked.
Cheshire silently observed.
As the cloud zipped across the sky, Yuki took a breath.
"So Tenten, tell me about yourself." Yuki remarked.
"Well, I'm a kunoichi for my village…I specialize in ninja weapons and sealing arts. One of their best and I even run the local ninja weapon shop." Tenten said trying to hype herself up with a bit of confidence. "I'm even a war veteran. What about you?"
"Well, I'm a huntsman. Defender of the kingdoms from the creatures of the night and those who threaten the kingdoms. We're kinda like ninja. I've been fighting for most of my live even before I got the license. I…didn't exactly have the most traditional of childhoods." Yuki said as Tenten gave a comforting look.
"You're an orphan, too?" Tenten said relating.
"I wasn't…until I was ten." Yuki said with a dark look. "But that's an old story long done. I've avenged my parents."
"Please don't tell me you're an emo like Sasuke. He had his family slaughtered by his brother and he was fervent in avenging while acting like king asshole." Tenten said shaking her head.
"I don't know who this Sasuke but sounds like a real piece of shit. But no, my case is a bit more open and shut case. My parents were killed by a man leading a group of oppressed minorities, they also killed my village where I was the only survivor, I lived on my own for years, formed a team, tore up the land doing good, called out the government for the cover-ups and lies, and I finally killed the bastard who took it all away. I have his sword and mask as a sweet trophy, and I got my life ahead of me." Yuki said relived. "I have my friends, what's left of my father's team, and a few notable people in my life to fight for."
"He didn't let his revenge consume him." Ozpin said thoughtfully. "Rather fitting he has a strong will like his father."
Toriel just have a sheepish blush as Harleen patted her back.
"I can't really say I have anyone anymore…" Tenten said before pausing.
She wanted to get this off her chest before they got to the village.
"My team's no longer together…and my sensei's crippled. Most of my peers…I just don't really gel with and have their own lives. I just fell on my lonesome…a lot." Tenten said with a forlorn air.
"What happened to your teammates?" Yuki asked.
"One's dead, and the other and I drifted apart. Sensei was always focused on him for his work ethic…leaving me on the wayside. That's how I feel…just left behind by everyone. I try and try so hard, but I'm drowned under the assholes with special eye powers, the Kekkai Genkai with their Hax jutsu, and don't get me started on the Tailed Beast Containers." Tenten said getting more stressed. "I don't even know why I bother half the time…"
"To be fair…from my world, we have similar problems. Technically, I am the asshole with special eye powers." Yuki mused as Tenten sighed.
"Of course, you are." Tenten said dryly. "We're coming up on the village."
Yuki commanded the cloud down blowing past the gate before they both leapt off as the cloud went up into sky.
"Hey Tenten, I know things look bad, but…" Yuki said trying to find the words. "I'm having a hard time trying to say it. Compared to how you explained things, in my world…it's not so bad. It's just one rare trait with powers that sticks out."
"In other words, it's more evened out." Tenten said glad that he was trying to make her feel better.
"Yeah, but chin up, I'm going to do what I can to make this date a memorable one." Yuki said before catching an incoming kunai. "But…I think we have the welcoming party."
Ninjas in black surrounded him as another one came not in black. Blonde and completely stacked in ways Ivory was praising.
"I wanna motorboat those tit-tays!" Ivory squealed.
"I second that…" Cheshire admitted.
"Perverts, the bunch of them." Kelly mutters as the crowd was gawking.
"I presume you're the leader of this place." Yuki said.
"Lady Hokage, you can have the ANBU stand down. He's with me, as my guest." Tenten said getting in front of him. "Remember, I told you that I signed up that dating service."
"What, I thought only I got that invite." Tsunade explained only for Shizune to explain she threw the paper out of the window while on a drunken spiel. "Oh…."
"Morty, make sure you send more of those to that universe." Rick said as Morty gave the orders.
Tsunade called off the ninja, gave the welcome, and told Tenten to keep an eye on him before vanishing with Shizune.
"So…where do you want to start first? I'm down for a bite to eat, if you want." Yuki offered.
"Maybe later, I may as well show you around town." Tenten said.
Being shown around, Yuki noted the similarity her world had to his before eyeing a ninja use Shadow Clone Jutsu. He inquired about it and Tenten laughed that off.
"For you to do that, you'd need a lot of chakra to perform it. Not everyone has that." Tenten said as Serena guided Yuki through the handsigns. "What are you…"
"Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
POOF! Now in existence was fifty clones…and Tenten just looked on in shock.
"But…how?! When?!" Tenten sputtered.
"I just copied what he did. Kind of ingenious to use handsigns to control the flow of energy." Yuki mused. "In my world, we have aura that we have on most of the time. Let's just say I have a lot of reserves and a power that let just add more to myself and others."
Tenten raised an eyebrow at that one and had an idea.
"So, you could do that to mine so I can…have more in me?" Tenten remarked.
"Yeah, but I need time to figure out how chakra works properly. Besides, this jutsu is pretty useless to me. I always have the power to make many mes…though this version is more efficient." Yuki said dispelling them. "And returns memory? Jeez, even with just five, you could do so more training with ease."
Tenten's eye twitching remembering that a certain blonde did not seem to bother to do that and facepalmed. She dragged him over to the training fields curious to see him combat. But Tenten proved to be at the end of a beating…it was fighting Temari all over again.
"How did you beat me so easily?" Tenten said as he helped her up.
"I'm rather adaptive thanks to my semblance. I wasn't really using it all too much to study you but get a feel for your fighting style and jutsu." Yuki said. "Besides, if I used most of my powers, fights would get boring fast."
"At least someone gets it." Tenten said.
The two ended up at Ichiraku Ramen having a bowl while telling a few jokes.
"Jeez, this Sakura chick sounds like a total simp." Yuki said before explaining what a 'simp' is.
"Oh, well technically Naruto would have been one." Tenten said shaking a head. "I swear he has a horrible judge of character."
"What, does he talk his enemies to switching sides with the power of friendship and dramatic speeches?" Yuki asked sarcastically only to realize the look on Tenten's face. "Oh…that's some bull-"
"Hey, everyone!"
"Speak of him and he shall appear." Tenten said sardonically. "C'mon, we can continue this elsewhere."
"Oh, hey Tenten. Who's your friend?" Naruto asked.
"Leaving." They both said taking off.
Overall, the date was rather pleasant as the two watched the sunset from the roof of her ninja tools shop.
"Sorry about the shop being…unsuccessful." Yuki mused.
"It's fine…" Tenten admitted. "I've gotten used to be undercooked in a sense."
"You're a great ninja…you can say that you didn't even need special eyes or other bullshit like that to be tough. It was nothing but hard work and guts." Yuki said as Tenten had a wistful look on her face. "What?'
"…It's nostalgia." Tenten said covering it up. "But thank you."

Tenten and Yuki returned to the dating show stage with mild cheer as Rick rolled his eyes. He wanted this to be over as he handled announcing the score.

"Bye Tenten, maybe you could come back to the show." Yuki said as Tenten waved goodbye.
"Doubt it!" Rick said before kicking her into the portal. "Now we can go on the actual fun! The vicious Mileena, the snakelike Karai, or the playful Cheshire! Find out next time, you shipping bastards!"
