-Take 1: Speaking Up-
It's funny how a few words could derail everything in an instant. Cinder was glad for the good fortune. To think that simply telling something that the thing on her neck was a shock collar and she had never been to school was enough to have police storm the hotel. She watched her stepmother be dragged into a police car all the while Cinder smugly devoured a pastry free of the shock collar. Cinder dreamed of burning the place down, but it be closed would have to do.
-Take 2: Hospital Visit-
Cinder not being fed properly led to her passing out in the lobby. Her stepmother wanted to play it off, but a nurse happened to be there who called for medical services. It did not take long for the faded scars from the stepsisters and the shock collar to be discovered.
-Take 3: Killed in Your Sleep-
Cinder's stepsister had a thought about the idea of Cinder trying to kill them in their sleep. Her mother assured her that would not happen and beat Cinder harshly despite Cinder have not done anything wrong to warrant it. It placated the sister for the moment…at until bedtime where she was awakened by being stabbed in heart. What she saw upon last breath was Cinder's cold eyes before expiring.
(A/N: Is Cinder still my least favorite character? Yes, she is. Her backstory doesn't really help her. I will say V8 has made me reconsider Raven. Funny that her words are ringing true now more than ever. Still a shitty person, but…you know.)
